A fan of Conservative Treehouse. I especially enjoy reading Grandma Covfefe’s daily prayer. Lurker mostly although I took the plunge and posted a comment or 2 back during the 2018 midterm elections when unfortunately instead of a red tsunami the democRats won the house by what they do best…cheat.

Anyway, my brother is an Officer/engineer in the U.S. Navy and currently aboard the USNS Comfort which is on its way to New York. He is part of the crew that worked tirelessly the past couple of weeks to get the ship ready to sail. My family and I are so happy President Trump took some time from his busy schedule to see them off. Prayers please from the Treehouse family for my brother and the many proud patriots in our U.S. military.

He works so hard to build our country UP, while Dems and FakeMedia hope for failure…many deaths and the economy in ruins. ANYTHING so they can have their power back!

FakeMedia needs to be quarantined for the health of our country.

***Today’s WeBuildTheWall / Fisher Industries posts***
    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/28/march-28th-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1164/comment-page-1/#comment-7991553)

Note: Most of the WBTW related social media accounts are covering coronavirus, politics, or illegal alien crimes. We will probably be in a quiet period regarding wall content until the next project(s) are near completion.
The praises (much of which are older news) have been provided for those who wish to give thanks for them before praying for the wall prayer requests. I may add to, trim back, or simplify from time to time as projects/events progress or come to completion. If there is any new wall news I’ll list them in the update below. Otherwise, feel free to page down or scroll past.
    – – – – –
    Saturday night update – 3/28/20

    – WeBuildTheWall Facebook post saying they “have #3, #4 and #5 on the books and ready to go once we get the green light to go back to work!”
    – Jeff Rainforth tweet with Washington Examiner article about 39M N95 masks being found in California.

    – Misc. content.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Sunland Park, NM)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to “shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.”
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 2 complete: Feb 17)… Fisher Industries was able to build 3.5 miles of wall along the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas. Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain.

***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise: (Feb 6)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, passed AZ House on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and health for the work crews and their families while they stay home during the temporary work shutdown; for safety and good weather for the work crews when they start up work again on Project 3 & 4; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion
    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal teams, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that the design is sound and that WBTW/Fisher Industries are capable of safely and effectively building it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas
    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.

Q: If you guys are out…away from people…why were you sent away? This defeats the whole purpose of building the wall!

I know an ER nurse here in the Seattle area – she said there were over 4,000 masks in their supply closet that they were not allowed to use because they are for “emergencies”?! And yet, I see posts everyday from employees there begging for masks because they don’t have any?! Something smells wrong about ALL of this!!

(I asked this same nurse how many people coming into the ER demanding tests are actually positive and how many of those actually get admitted…she said that she has NO IDEA “Above my pay grade”!)

Sounds like there are multiple layers of bureaucracy that need to be removed/fired.

I wonder if there are respirators, face masks, or other devices which are designated as “for emergency use” as well which doctors are not allowed to use.

Also, could a bureaucrat arbitrarily reset the quantity to be set aside for “emergencies” so that new supplies which the Federal government sends gets placed in the same category, and thus remain unavailable to the front line medical workers?

I suspect that the pencil pusher in the front office feels that it is his job to “just say no”! He has probably never spent a minute doing anything remotely related to patient care and has no idea what it involves. People like that are one of the main reasons that our health care system needs a complete overhaul! When politicians and bean counters make medical decisions, rather than the doctor, all kinds of things go wrong!!

If you want a bit more power ultra violet LED spotlights can be got, with a variety of bases, to fit whatever light fitting you already have, 12volt MR16’s might be handy if you want to build some kind of home brew sterilizer, they consume around 4 or 5 watts.

Guess its dependant on the SIZE or area you want to sterilise.
The ,…ability of the uv light, beyond a certain point, isn’t going to be increased with more power, but as I say, for a larger surface area the spotlights would be useful.

If your thinking about clothes, or household surfaces, consider,….hairspray.

Alcohol based aerosol, the aerolised droplets hit the surface, spread out into a thin, flat circle as the alcohol dries, that is ‘sticky’ and binds up the virus or contaminate, making it biounavalable, although in the case of a virus, the alcohol probably kills as well.

Use it like glade: broadcast a fog over surfaces. Pretty harmless to most things, except flat screen tv’s, dvd’s maybe computers?

              Runs around $2-3/ can.

President Trump and Secretary Mnuchin Continue Toward “Main Street” Parallel Banking System…

Trump and Mnuchin view the entire U.S. banking system as too monolithic and generally positioned to the benefit of Wall Street and not Main Street.

This problem is why President Trump and Secretary Mnuchin are working to create a parallel banking system of smaller community and credit union banks that are external to Dodd Frank regulations and can act as the primary commercial banks for small to mid-sized businesses.

According to Worldometer, the U.S. is at 2227 deaths so far due to the Wuhan virus. Assuming a bad scenario where that number more than doubles to 5000 deaths and you divide that by all 50 states, that’s 100 deaths per state (obviously it’s different state by state).

Life is precious, but you don’t shut your economy down over those numbers.

We are currently on an exponential growth curve of a doubling every 2.7 days. That curve will eventually lessen, and the doubling reduce, but it’s where we are at right now and it’s consistent with what other countries have experienced this far into the spread.

So we will probably be over 4000 deaths by Tuesday, and over 8000 by next Friday. Hopefully by then the natural decline, plus warmer weather (we don’t really know), plus whatever effect us starting social distancing will kick in.

Remember, the symptoms don’t start for up to 2 weeks, so add that to when we started distancing and other measures. Then add time from beginning to show symptoms to actually dying.

Finally, we hopefully are on track for finding some medications and best practices for dealing with the virus, and that could limit deaths too.

But it’s not going to be a pretty two weeks. Maybe not a pretty April. Hopefully, we can keep this total impact down to no more than a severe flu season.

It depends on whether these people can get the hydroxychloroquine which sounds like a winner according to the incoming studies and those before.

And like I said a few days ago, test and treat someone early BEFORE it goes into SARS with the shortness of breath, avoid the ventilator and probably hospitalization that way.

We need more testing for those with mild symptoms.

And we need to be able to check people who think they may have had it for antibodies so they can go on with their lives and possibly help others with their plasma.

We can handle “X” # of patients coming into hospitals over 3-6 months, and do every year during flu season, even though some hospitals MAY and do stop accepting patients in there ER, for short periods of time. The patients are simply diverted to other nearby hospitals.

Our system can not handle that same “X” # of patients, coming into hospitals over 2 weeks to a month. And, if its in a whole area of the country, or the whole country, there is no diverting.

As is posted elsewhere, EARLY intervention, PRIOR to developing Acute Respiratory Distress, with Rx treatment, may not only reduce mortality rates, it may relieve the pressure on hospitals and the healthcare system, which is the real threat, and IMHO, why we are using these unprecedented measures, to try to flatten the curve.

Here’s the thing – the MSM have scared the public into such a state that perspective is no longer possible.

Let’s assume they manage to tamp down the NY area, California and New Orleans by the end of April and then, with the knowledge gained, manage to bend the curve in other cities such that it never rises above the capability of those respective cities medical facilities. So (mostly) everyone is back to work by May 1.

Remember again, the goal was never to prevent deaths completely from the virus, it was to flatten the curve.

But once the back-to-work call is made, the MSM will still count EVERY SINGLE death occurring after the reopening of the economy as being the personal responsibility of PDJT.

Lets assume (as an example) that the virus kills 10,000 by the end of April, and another 5,000 in the months following the back-to-work call, as it runs its course. The flu could possibly kill 3X that number this year but that will not matter.

What will matter to the MSM is that PDJT was PERSONALLY responsible for the death of 5,000 “veterans of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War”.

      That’s the narrative now.

      Will the voters buy that?

If Cuomo is seriously considering this, he is more drunk on power than I thought. Cannot imagine the outcry if he takes such action. Nicotine withdrawal will ramp people up even more. I’ve never smoked and don’t advocate for it, but I could see how this would be cruel to do to people already under such stress from dealing with this virus. And, scary thought, but not hard to envision the “progression” to a place where, since you “choose” to smoke despite his warnings, you might just find yourself in need of a ventilator and being denied. Nope…Those are reserved for the non-smokers. Yikes!

Smokers in New York have a choice when buying cigarettes: They can pay $13 for a pack with all the required city and state taxes included or they can pay half as much for smokes smuggled in from other states. Most are choosing the latter.

The city is now the nation’s capital for tobacco smuggling. Nearly 57% of all cigarettes smoked here are carted in from out of state, the highest rate in the country, according to Tax Foundation data. Widespread bootlegging deprives the city and state of hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenue every year, which is why authorities spend so much time trying to stop it.

    1. Reminder to all to continue to follow this plan for at least several more weeks.

    2. High/medium/low risk list of Counties will be published.

    3. Trump will recomend a quick return to business for LOW counties by April 12. Medium will advise work-from-home, distancing, cleaning, PPE, etc. starting April13. HIGH will advise continue “shelter in place” (NYC,CA, Chicago…) until end April

    4. States without idiot Governers like TX, FL will follow Trumps advice and start opening up businesses, schools, churches, government agencies in time for April 12 (Easter)

    5. Demonrat Governers, including CA, NY, IL, MI (and idiot RINOs like DeWine) will keep their entire state on lockdown in defiance of point 3. They will pull the “Trump is a dictator, can’t tell us what to do, he’s going to get everyone killed”. They will close down business past end of April & close all schools until the Fall.

    6. (possible, but not likely) Sane citizens in the lower risk counties of Demonrat states will be going crazy by mid April and will push thier idiot Governers to remove the lockdown.

I would bet my entire retirement savings on points 1-5, although its only worth about half of its former self 😦

I think there are vast parts of the country at very little risk, that should return to normal. My concern is how to protect those areas. Once announced people may flock there for a return to normalcy.

People are already fleeing hotspots, mostly going to Florida. I live in Florida, trust me I know. Speaking of Florida there are areas of the state that have fairly low case numbers, but if those areas return to normal they will be inundated.

We had that happen already when the big city to our south clamped down. The local news was kind enough to report what was open or closed county by county and here they came like locusts. In response our county clamped down.

Now add to the mix all those that fled the NY area that are here. There are a lot here, many own winter homes here. Some came to beach rentals. What’s different is from what I have seen, many brought extended family and/or friends with them.

So let’s say my county returns to normal. Now we have all these people here from NY area and we don’t know the percentage that may be positive. They clearly have no intention of sheltering in place, they’ve proven that. No matter what threats DeSantis makes, they don’t care. Add to those potential carriers, the people from the city flocking here and boom, we go from a handful of travel related cases to who knows.

Perhaps Florida is unique because of those that fled here. Maybe it isn’t a problem in rural Alabama or Wyoming or where have you.

If you are in a cool spot, you certainly see the problem with people fleeing a hot spot, and coming to you.

Not defending AT ALL, but if the situation were reversed, you KNOW there would be people in YOUR area that would flee.

Last I checked, 2 days ago my county had no cases, and no deaths. So, currently we’re a cool spot. We’re rural, but on a major transport corridor (I-40).

We’ll just have to see what happens, when restrictions are lifted, I guess.
It may be very individual, with some cool counties staying cool, or only having slight upticks, whereas others may go hot.

So long as it getting to the point where it overwhelms the hospitals can be minimised, and things like the hospital ships and hospitals ‘stood up’ can relieve pressure, this flattening the curve may have been worth it.
          Certainly worth a try,…

I think it DOES have novel characteristics.
The permanent damage to lung tissue and even other organs, for example.
The high % of healthy people who get no or minimal symptoms.
But perhaps most relevant is the being asymptomatic for 2 weeks, while contagious. Thats novel. And with that, apperently the potential for sudden spikes which overwhelm healthcare systems ability to cope.

Rereading Michael Shaara’s, Killer Angels today, about Gettysburg, and reflecting on how individual actions or blunders can decide historic turning points. Why did Stuart neglect his duty to provide eyes and ears for Lee? why did Ewell hesitate before Cemetery Hill on the first day? how did Chamberlain pull a “swinging gate” bayonet charge out of his classical education as ammo ran out on the Union left flank to miraculously save the second day? why did Lee, an exceptional General, who believed it was all in God’s hands, and whose most valued General Longstreet strongly advised not to, expend everything on a doomed charge uphill against a well-fortified, larger force, with better artillery? It is easy to see God’s hand in these events, the Union saved, the slaves freed, but it is also part of the core of being an American to ponder the role of the individual in big events as they unfold, their outcome not yet history. Especially if one has ancestors who fought on both sides.

Our nation is as divided today as we were then, but today it is Marxism disguised as progressive socialism driving toward “elite”-managed globalism that is at war with the concept of our American nation conceived in Liberty and dedicated to the proposition that we are all created equal, and that governments are instituted to secure our basic liberties, deriving just but limited powers from the consent of the people. And that people and their municipal and state governments should be left to govern themselves, ceding only jealously enumerated powers to any larger but still republican government.

The globalists, the deep state do not like constraints on their power. While they say, and some may even believe, that pandemics and climate change and nuclear weapons require a new world order, to which nations must cede their sovereignty, the real power in their movement, like the slave owners of old, just want unaccountable power over others, feel entitled to such power, feel superior to those who serve them or oppose them, and articulate all manner of argument justifying their “elite entitlement,” from fake science, fake economics, fake news, and fake philosophical sophistries to smearing their opponents as “deplorables.”

Joshua Chamberlain inspired 114 Maine 2d deserters to rejoin and fight another day, to help man that miraculous bayonet charge, by arguing that we fight not for land or pillage or power over others, but so that others might be free. Let us all rededicate ourselves to fighting to preserve our heritage, the blessings of liberty, and to pursue truth, and not tolerate fake news, so long as reason is left free to combat it.

Yours is a beautiful essay. I spend a lot of time in Erie, PA, just 18 miles from General Strong Vincent’s birthplace of Waterford, PA. There’s a statue of General Vincent in front of Erie’s library and an Erie school named after him. Yet , not one person that I’ve talked to in Erie has any idea of who he is. While Colonel Chamberlain rallied the 20th Maine on the Union left on Little Round Top, Colonel Vincent rallied the 16th Michigan on the right. When the 16th Michigan started to yield, Colonel Vincent climbed atop a large boulder and waved a large riding crop while, encouraging his men, all the while yelling, “Don’t give an inch!”. He was mortally wounded, fell, was carried from the field and died 5 days later. He was promoted to General on his deathbed.

I asked this question on Facebook and I thought well maybe I should ask on a broader scale.

I’ve been reading how the chloroquine protocol seems to be really helping the COVID19 patients.
at the same time, I am reading where there are grave concerns for the medical staff, particularly since there seems to be a dearth of personal protection equipment.

back in the day, if a person was traveling to a country that had Malaria, they would take prophylactic doses of an anti-malarial before they got to that country and while they were there. So, why can’t the medical staff take prophylactic doses of Chloroquine, zinc and vitamin C to protect themselves while they minister to the sick?

I would caution that this may not work as a prophylactic. I’m not a doctor, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night. I just know someone that actually takes plaquinil for a medical condition that contracted Covid-19 and ended up in the hospital. So it’s not fool proof.

That being said, after declining for days, doctors put her on the combo touted by so many. Since she was already on hydroxy chloroquine, I worried it wouldn’t be as effective. Two days later she walked out of the hospital with normal vitals!!!

There is something with the combination, clearly. There may also be a difference with dosage, (I don’t know the dosage she was on or switched to to fight covid-19). But just taking hydroxy chloroquine daily didn’t protect her from contracting covid-19. She could be an anomaly.

No, its definetly the combination. The malaria drug enables the zinc to be more effective, as I understand it,
and its actually the Zinc that kills the virus,…I THINK.

Not clear to me what the az does, still reading. This is not unlike established treatments for other viruses, like HIV and HepC, a “cocktail” approach.

One medication inhibits reproduction, while another actually attacks the virus, and sometimes a third that ‘assists’one of the other two, to make it more effective.

“WE” have actually come a long way, in the last 20-30 years, in treating and beating viruses.

You can now expect to live a full live, being HIV+, and we have CURES for HEP C, take one “cocktail” pill/day for 6 weeks, your cured.

IIRC, there are about 70 medications on the list, for HIV. They first detirmine the genome, of the specific viral variation the patient has, in order to detirmine which is the appropriate medication.

I lost the link, but most people assume that it can ward off bacterial infections as it normally does. I see that’s what Zelenko assumes. BUT, somebody posted a link to a research paper that showed/proposed that AZith has direct anti-viral effects on lung epithelial tissue – which would explain a lot.

                This – Azith (?):
                https://erj.ersjournals.com/content/45/2/428

                So, in my non-doctor head:
hQ – non-viral effects by itself – plus Zzinc Ionosphore
Zinc – allowed in in great quantities by HQ – stops Covid-19 replicase – replication of virus
Azith – Anti-bacterial effects as usual stops follow-on issues, but also maybe important direct ant-viral effects on lung tissue

Since this combo won’t hurt most UNDER DOC CARE – why not try?

Thursday a doc from Elmhurst hospital (hardest hit in NYC) was interviewed on CNN or did a Facebook rant about bad conditions there.

Friday night Tucker interviewed him — he was much calmer but still worried about patients, and both his wife and daughter were also health professionals in hospitals.
Tucker asked him what he was doing to stay safe, and he said “Taking Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine)”. Tucker forgot to ask him if he was giving it to his patients !!

He back pedaled a lot Friday but fell short of making an apology for his hysteria. HE DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO ASK if this Dr was using hydroxychloroquine
BEFORE the Dr let it slip he was using it as a prophylactic! That’s like a detective interviewing a murder suspect and not asking him if he committed the crime.
This almost COVERUP of a promising event changer treatment(s) is very very strange.

      7 vs. 31 in deaths per M

Case comparison may be off because of sample size, % population tested, but deaths are absolute values. Swiss have over 4 times our death rate, which does pretty closely approximate the case ratio — surprised the hell out of me. Is this where we are at? Do the Michigan/Nevada governors have a point? Or are they stepping in and snatching a possible wonderful assist cause of TDS?

My son and I were published in the American Thinker this morning. We call for passage of the Trump administration’s proposal: the United States Reciprocal Trade Act. Here’s a selection:

“When American companies produce abroad, their factories may be taken over by the countries where the factories reside. In fact, that is exactly what happened in China during the COVID-19 epidemic, as President Trump’s economic adviser Peter Navarro pointed out in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on February 23 (see the 2:15 mark):

“In terms of the immediate issue, face masks — the N-95 face masks, China put export restrictions on those masks and then nationalized an American factory that produces them there.”

Perhaps it was mentioned in the article, and if so I apologize for missing it, but the was the nationalization of the American factory a permanent move? Or was it merely a commandeering of it for the duration of the virus epidemic? Also, do you know the name of American company who owns/owned it?

I am curious because if China has indeed permanently nationalized an American -owned factory, retaliation from our government in the form of us nationalizing Chinese-owned companies here would seem appropriate. The assets would help offset some of the economic destruction we are and will continue to face as a consequence of China’s deception over the virus.

Question for medical/science folks — just heard yet again that flu virus, and maybe all viruses, and hopefully covid, may dissipate in warm weather. If so, why the hell do they thrive like blazes in a 98 degree body?? I’m just an engineer, and thermodynamics does not cover this topic!

It’s UV light and ambient heat diminishing the ability of the virus to remain active on surfaces and objects. Hence warm weather. Body heat does not kill it, the infection from a live virus has already happened at that point.

      Liked by 1 person

    • Somebody says:

My understanding is it’s not the heat particularly although viruses don’t like extreme heat. It has more to do with people getting outside and not being as cooped up. Another factor is UV light. UV light kills viruses. The reason we’re warmer in summer is because our days are longer, we get more UV light. The more UV light the more virus gets killed off.

They ate studying covid-19 to see how susceptible to heat it is, but any virus requires temps much higher than body temp to kill it. I read some studies the other day, I tried a quick search to link but came up dry. If I recall correctly it took a temp of 143 degrees to kill it. The actual study listed it in C and I used a converter to figure out the temp at F. I could be off by a few degrees, but it was a really high temp. I live in FL, I figure my closed up care in August might approach that.

Dr. Brix did an interview talking about this warmer weather theory. She pointed out that humidity is a factor. So add that to the mix. She said it was a combo of more sunlight, heat, humidity and people getting outside, spacing out more. She cautioned we don’t know at this point how the weather will impact covid-19. She also pointed out there are cases of it currently in hot, humid places. It’s been in the 90’s in Florida and yet the virus rages on.

The “influenza” type of viruses have always been active predominantly in the winter seasons, alternating from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. (Exceptions might be secondary to air travel). This correlates directly with the sun exposure on the human skin. The increase exposure to the sun results in an increase of the production of vitamin D in the human. Thereby enhancing the immune system. The immune system might be enhanced during these seasons by either artificial “sunlight” exposure or supplementation with vitamin D 3. A few days ago I saw a map which shows that the present spread of the Covid-19 is I believe predominantly between the 20th and 60th North latitude.
