Sunday Talks – Kellyanne Conway Discusses Romney, Cuba Etc…

Former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway made the Sunday talk circuit discussing a variety of topics surrounding the Donald Trump transition (three interviews).

One of the consistent inquisitions surrounds the Mitt Romney Secretary of State banter:

NBC’s Meet The Press with Chuck Todd:

Trump was never going to pick Romney. Going out on a limb being so definitive, but pretty sure now that Sundance was right all along. This was about putting NeverTrump in their place, the Ben Shapiros, etc. who thought they could jump on the Trump Train and have influence while thinking everyone would forget their prior actions. Multi-dimensional chess, etc. No wonder why Steve Bannon is so feared. Kellyanne Conway in these interviews just appears to be participating in the overall kabuki / psy-ops (lots of good cop, bad cop stuff going on). Sounds ruthless, but our opponent has been ruthless, so we have to do what we have to do.

If this is right we could well see some “NeverTrump” media outlets close down. They never made a profit, were just funded by sugar-daddies (and foreign interests) for cronyism purposes (open borders, TPP, etc.), and there’s no value in them for sticking it out for 4-8 years now. Optics will be bad for them. Dems are the opposition, not them. We are grassroots Tea Party v2.0, not them.

If I were a #NeverTrump person, I’d be scared sh&*less that I’ll be the next victim of public humiliation by the Trump insiders. Romney got Borked by Trump, who is pulling all the strings. This is a great payback and makes me laugh at how arrogant these people are, that they think they can manipulate the ‘rube’ Trump.

“What has Romney done on the International stage over the past 4 years, did he participate in anything because if he has, I haven’t heard about it?” KellyAnne twisting the long knife earlier today…Hillarious stuff performed masterfully.

Who cares whether Romney apologizes or not. He gambled and he lost. There is no refund for forfeited chips in Trump’s casino (or any casino for that matter). We’ll never know what was discussed during the Trump-Romney conversation but I never doubted that Romney would not be a candidate (let alone the candidate) for SOS. The look on Romney’s face when he came out of that meeting was not indicative of anything positive to have come of it. He must have faced quite an earful.
PS: I’m aware of the fact that a SOS nominee has not been selected yet but feel confident about my intuition in this case, which dates to the day of the meeting, way before KAC let us know how she feels about it.

I’m coming to this view as well. There has still been absolutely no public expression of contrition from Romney, which just further fuels Trump’s base’s outrage. Talk about putting someone front and center for scorn and condemnation. Sort of like letting Cruz proceed with his horrible speech at the convention. Trump let him seal his own fate. “Sure, here, have another 5 feet of rope.”

        I agree trapper.
I had to go back and watch that 18 minute anti Trump speech again that Romney made.
There’s no way that Mr. Trump would pick Romney for Secretary of State.
Mr. Trump would run the risk of losing some respect of other leaders.
Although I like Rudy, I’m tired of hearing about the former New York mayor as a candidate for Secretary of State. When Rudy was mayor he was pro gun control, pro amnesty, pro choice, he believes in global warming and once remarked that Al Gore’s movie doesn’t go far enough and blames global warming on humans. Rudy also pushed LGBT right issues while trying to say he was against it.
I like Rudy but I don’t really trust the former democrat.

I wish that Mr. Trump would consider former governor Mitch Daniels or former senator Jim DeMint for the SOS position.

YES, George Romney was another toolhead who torpedoed the great Barry Goldwater! Goldwater, who would have been BRILLIANT.

Just think: if Goldwater had been elected in 1964 instead of Lyndon Baines Johnson, he may well have vetoed Teddy Murderer Kennedy’s disastrous 1965 immigration bill that flipped America’s immigrant population from mostly European to mostly Third World. Think how different our nation would be, if the Dims had had a much smaller pool of ethnic minorities to weaponize against us.

Here’s the man we could have had:

“In 1960, Barry Goldwater set forth his brief manifesto in ‘The Conscience of a Conservative.’ Written at the height of the Cold War and in the wake of America’s greatest experiment with big government, the New Deal, Goldwater’s message was not only remarkable, but radical. He argued for the value and importance of conservative principles–freedom, foremost among them–in contemporary political life. Using the principles he espoused in this concise but powerful book, Goldwater fundamentally altered the political landscape of his day–and ours.”

Next job for Team Trump on the Secy of State watch:

Pop the Betrayus balloon. He and Hillary butt boy Jarhead Allen are like dogs who roll in their own vomit.

Jarhead Allen was enthralled with Arab social climber Gilberte Khawan aka Jill Kelley. (Look it up, her people are from the Middle East.) He reportedly sent her 30,000 pages of e-mail from Afghanistan, which may explain why he had little time to actually lead competently. The Home Improvement general musta sent her more than personal info; there are only so many ways for a general to brag about his unit … or his tool.

Of course Allen was blackmailed. Just like Betrayus, who has five things I never achieved in my Army career — four stars and a felony conviction.

BO certainly blackmailed Betrayus, which led him to help lie and cover up the murder of our people in Libya. Ditto for Hillaryallen.

Then West Point grad and adulterous slut Paula Broadwell (Gen Betrayus’ mistress) got bent out of shape and threatened Ms. Khawan, errr, Jill with girlfriend jihad. Kinda like Annapolis grad and adulterous slut Lisa Nowak tried to harm another female officer who was her rival for an astronaut who put her sex drive into orbit.

Lisa Caputo aka Nowak drove across half the country in adult depends to try to kidnap her rival …. but Hillary lazily crisscrossed the country for two years trying to kidnap an election wearing adult Depends.

Paula got caught, Betrayus (who was caught sharing classified info with her to show how much pull he had) got blackmailed into lying for Obama and Hillary about Benghazi, and Allen got whitewashed before suddenly resigning from the Marine Corps. Allen said his wife was sick (hopefully not with something he brought home from an illicit entry) and he needed to make some home improvements. Allen avoided criminal charges and Betrayus got a felony rap, which he plea bargained down to a misdemeanor.

The two four-star failures were like Ike with Kay Sommersby, who Churchill planted in Ike’s entourage to spy on him to the Brits when she dropped her panties for his inspection. Ike, unlike Hillary Allen and Betrayus, at least helped win the war he was in charge of

Not to condore adultery, but Betrayus would still have left office with his manhood intact had he owned the adultery and did his job in exposing the liar BO and Hillary and Panetta and the rest of that treasonable crew. (Like Comey gutlesslyand crookedly bending over before Hillary and the Dems.) Adultery is bad, but treason is worse. He condoned and covered up for accessories to homicide to save himself. And he still had to do the walk of shame on the cheating anyway.

What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world if he suffers the loss of his soul?

His wife may forgive him for betraying her. Patriots cannot forgive Betrayus forn helping an enemy of the Republic retain power despite not deserving it.

Sorry, Betrayus. Put your ring in the West Point Cemetery Chapel next to the plaque that has the year of birth and death for Benedict Arnold. Grinding off your namenfrom the inside is your option. Ditto for Allen, if the Naval Academy has a similar way to shame traitors.

      Now for the follow-up:

Did Pistol Petraeus and Home Improvement tool Allen share two unauthorized receptacles? Besides USMA huntress Paula Broadwell, the other alleged skank is Gilberte Khawan aka Jill Kelley, a longtime friend of the Petraeus family who is also young enough to be their daughters. Jill looked hot at teen sleepovers, eh, Generals?

Maybe Betrayus and Hillaryallen spent CIA money for a mud pit so the Huntress could dominate Jill on Tuesdays and Fridays before officer call. Or maybe they flew each into Afghanistan on taxpayer money on alternate months.

Or maybe the CIA ringtone was the song, “Hey, Hey, Paula.”

BO’s goons found out and soon had Betrayus and Hillaryallen by the shorthairs. Betrayus thought by lying to cover up the murder of an ambassador he could wriggle free.

This is like Oliver North again. Ollie mocked Reagan, worked with Bill on Iran Contra, and took orders from Bush 41 and his AG Barr. Check out “Compromised” by Terry Reed, especially the chapter titled “New Covenant” for the details.

Did the Huntress threaten to use her cadet saber to chop off Jill’s head? Or the lower IQ heads of Betrayus and Hillaryallen? This might have been Lisa Nowak redux! (She was the astronaut, who like Hillary, donned Depends and stalked her creatin’ guy’s girlfriend Problem is Lisa was cheating herself, like Hillary (reportedly) with Vince Foster, Webb Hubbell, and almost certainly with Huma Abedin aka Hum a Weiner.)

This Betrayus/Hillaryallen thing has the makings of a good movie. Emily Deschanel is Paula the Huntress, and either Tiffany or Debbie Gibson is Jill Kelley.

Harrison Ford is Betrayus, the ghost of Don Knotts is Allen, the actor who plays Urkel is BO, and Pee Wee Herman plays Joe Biden. The ghost of WC Fields is Kaine. Almost no one in Hollywood is predatory and siphyletic enough to play Bill. Well, almost nobady, but Rajmund Leibling aka Roman Polanski is too short. But then Gennifer Flowers and Paula Jones said Bill is short where it counts.

The guy who plays Janet Reno on Saturday Night Live is ugly and crass enough to be Hillary. Lester Holt could be Hillary too. After all, his nose routinely intersects with her anus.

Obviously a mudwrestling scene between Paula and Jill, errr Gilberte the rival girls is in order. And a real-time flogging of all the guilty by Lynndie England (playing herself and given the most ergonomic cat-o-nine-tails she can handle) is in order.

Roll over Bill Clinton, tell Benedict Arnold da news.

Summary? Betrayus is the Peter Pirnciple literally and figuratively. He rose for Paula and shriveled when confronted by Barry Mohammed Obama. He was willing to lie about Benghazi to save his worthless hide.

Yes, worthless hide. As a general, he ordered young men into combat at the risk of heir lives, and shackled them with ridiculous rules of engagement. And yet he was too cowardly to tell the truth about Benghazi when faced with a little jail time and loss of pension after a lifetime of gravy training at the public trough.

Let me repeat this — he put young men in harm’s way and some of them lost all or almost all they had — their lives, their health, their eyeight, their limbs, their mental well-being. And he refused to take a hit so the truth about BO and Hitlery could reach the public. Betrayus should have no role with government except as a taxpayer.

For me, Donald Trump has always been as transparent as clear spring water, but this latest maneuvre involving Romney as a potential Secretary of State is highly opaque and uncertain in its outcome. If forced to put down money, I still believe Trump values a unified Republican Party over a bruised and embittered one. It’s 50/50, but I say the Donald names Mitt as Sec of States, earns the admiration of former enemies and moves on inevitably to his destiny of greatness with the ship of state set as straight as an arrow.

I don’t rule Romney out (maybe 90:10 against), but I think it’s a risky move, and has a high potential for fracturing instead of healing. Right now, a lot of the anti-Trump sentiment is solidifying as newly supportive of the Trump agenda. There are better choices to get full support from NeverTrump AND retain full support from core Trump backers.

I’m surprised that Trump was looking at Romney for SoS, anyway. Romney just doesn’t seem to have the foreign affairs background. Romney was a great puppet for the World to push America around (hence his CFR-approved candidacy), but he makes no sense in terms of America pushing back.

This was another masterful performance by Trump. You are correct, Romney didn’t fit into the SoS position. Offering it to him guaranteed two things: 1) Romney would be enthusiastic about the opportunity and would show up for the interview. 2) Even the most forgiving voters would question the wisdom of Romney as SoS.

In essence, Romney was a drowning man. Trump threw him a lifeline to keep his hands busy while Trump was fitting him with cement shoes. Bye bye Mitt.

Another theory, maybe Conway finally saw the light months ago just as many of us on this board have. It took many people a long time to come around to Trumps message (in a field of 17), but now that they finally understand it they back him 100%. Remember, many here in the begining of the primary campaign were for Cruz, Rubio, etc…

Also, the story contains the kind of detail that has the ring of truth to it. Proof will be in the pudding this week. Looking at their foreign policy issues, Ted Cruz is closer to Trump than Rudy Guliani.
The stuff I saw on Rudy was back in 2006, so that may have changed.

No, I don’t think it will be Ted Cruz, but it’s possible. I’m leaning more towards Dana Rohrabacher as safe pick and Tulsi Gabbard as an outlier pick. She met with Trump already and may have been turned down, or she turned down some offer with DOD or State department.
A Petraeus pick may make it harder to punish Hillary for classified emails.

Dana Rohrabacher had a big twitter fight last night regarding Bosnia and Kosovo.

Cruz does not support regime change in Syria, taking out dictators make things worse unless the dictators are battling other nations. He seemed less NWO, I was not taking into consideration TPP and H1B because Rudy did not have policy on that. Rudy did support Iraq war and other military activities that don’t match Trump’s stance. There are not many non-interventionist’s republican’s around. Abraham Lincoln was anti-war and stated that he funded boots for soldier’s in the Indian battles, as a rebuke to “he didn’t support the troops”.

Doesn’t really matter, because I don’t believe either will be chosen.

After Conway speeches on Romney, I’m feeling more comfortable he will not be chosen, unless Conway went rogue, or Trump gave his blessing to let speak her mind even though he did not share same thoughts. Conway speaking on behalf of Trump make’s the most sense.

Does he really think two of the people closest to Trump would try to intimidate Trump? Why? When they can just tell him to his face what they think. Also, Trump has heard from his twitter followers what they think about Romney. It’s not some mystery or something he is going to pretend is not true.

Trump doesn’t exist in some bubble away from the truth the way other politicians do. It’s so predictable that Joe would still not get Trump and how he operates to this day.
