    I’ve read this entire thread. Of course, kudos to Eric. But the most important take-away, methinks, is that EACH OF US must be worthy of the sacrifices Donald Trump and his family are making daily. It is well-said that we all must believe that it is MY life, MY fortune, and MY sacred honor.

              Section 1.

              All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

                Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the US Constitution states that “No person except a natural born citizen …” shall be eligible for the Office of the President. The natural born citizen requirement included being born on US soil to two citizen parents, which is a higher standard than the general US citizen clause in the 14th Amendment.

                Admittedly all of the liberals have tried to water down the natural born citizen requirement in order to make usurper Obama appear to be legitimate. I don’t think these liberals could object to Eric Trump being legitimate without exposing Obama as illegitimate (because Obama Sr. was never a US citizen). At least Eric was born in the US–and Sheriff Joe Arpaio has stated that there is no proof that Obama was born in the US given that his Hawaiian birth certificate, SSN, and selective service registration are all totally fraudulent.

          Disagree. Only takes one parent to be an American citizen – which automatically makes the children of such a couple an American citizen,(the child then, might have dual citizenship, but they definitely are American.) Neither do they have to be born on American soil or American possessions; they can be born on the high seas, and they’ll still be an American citizen even if one parent is foreign born.

            You’re entitled to your opinion, but that won’t change the law.

            That said, the English Common Law, upon which early USA law was principally based, did, I believe, have a developed and fairly solid body of law tying a child’s NBC status to the father’s citizenship and locale of birth. There must be an acceptance/assertion of USA jurisdiction and citizenship at birth (i.e., no dual citizenship) and at least one parent must be a citizen at the time (since we no longer accord special status to the father vs. the mother for control of jurisdiction and citizenship choices).

            Birth on the high seas (international waters) has to occur on a vessel–is it a USA flag vessel? Serving under USA command? Maybe that’s enough, but I can find no support for the suggestion that locale doesn’t matter–an NBC of any nation must be born “under the jurisdiction” of that nation, which invokes both spatial and legal components.

            I believe all the Trump children were born on USA soil, to at least one USA NBC parent, and with the full intent and purpose that they should be, at birth, USA citizens. While that’s not the strictest form of NBC (which would require both parents to be USA citizens at the time of birth + USA locale), it’s probably enough under the historical precedents and modern egalitarian legalities.

            Frankly, after seeing Eric take Stephie down, I almost wish Erick was the candidate, instead of Donald–just absotively awesome way to stay on point and keep landing jabs, then punctuating with hard rights to the gut and jaw. I can’t recall a time I’ve seen Stephie so defeated and that I’ve been happy, instead of TV-shootin’ angry, after watching one of his interviews.

          Citizenship requirement, either:

          Condition one is in no doubt, he was born in New York which is in the United States, though not necessarily America, so condition three is satisfied, two and four are moot.

          He is eligible.

Mexicans cross border, have baby on American soil, the kid can stay while the parents are deported, but wait, no, they never will be as the baby assures them they can stay. While this isn’t really solid, it’s been accepted by those supporting open borders. Come here pregnant, have baby here, get to stay as no one will rip a family apart. (oh, yeah?)

            Your second sentence is not true. The 14th Amendment clearly says that (e.g.) Mexican babies born to Mexican parents in the US are Mexican citizens, NOT American citizens, even though the propagandists have cynically brainwashed many into believing otherwise.

            The 14th amendment includes both the terms “within the jurisdiction” and “subject to the jurisdiction”. These two terms have very different meanings, and are used very carefully in the amendment.

            A lot of y’all got some reading and research to do–NBC isn’t the same thing as other forms of citizenship and it absolutely requires more than just being born in the USA or just being born of one USA citizen parent–it requires both and may require both parents to be USA citizens. Is that harsh, strict, demanding, exclusionary to many many fine patriotic people? Yes. Is it what the Constitution requires? Yes. Absolute, undivided loyalty from birth is the standard. Given what’s at stake, given what we’ve seen from the last 8 years, given what we’ve seen from Cruz and Rubio, isn’t a standard of absolute, undivided, physical and legal loyalty and commitment exactly what we should and must demand?

        Read that phrase to my hubby last night – about “lives, fortunes and sacred honor.” That’s what the Founding Fathers pledged and that’s what Donald and his family have given in this effort. The folks here at CTH, and other Trump supporters have borne the tremendous burden of the evil that’s befallen this country. Donald recognizes that. Either we will be free – or we won’t.

        Also watched the Al Smith dinner video, hadn’t a chance to catch the actual speech. Loved when Trump called out Hillary’s campaign folks – all of the media. The majority of folks in that room were squirming in their seats – because they KNEW Donald was speaking the truth… and they’re just as guilty as those media goons.

          When the Founders were writing the Constitution they used Vattel’s Law of Nations as a Reference Guide and Vattel’s Law of Nations defines NBC as ‘one born to TWO Citizen parents in the country THEY are citizens of’ , note the plurals. If they had considered simply being born in the USA made you eligible or simply being a Citizen because you had ONE American parent they would have said so but they didn’t they insisted on writing NBC’s ONLY as President. They could never consider a time when Americans would be so STUPID and UNEDUCATED not to know what NBC meant.

      Donald has ‘invested’ more in his kids than his own father, Fred, did in Donald.and his two brothers and sisters (nice big ‘normal’ family)…excepting the patriotism they all have.. The amount of charisma, gentleness, intellect, and communications skills is beyond normal infusion (thinking of JFK’s kids who missed the standards that Jack set). Same with Reagan, the “Great Communicator”. Donald’s only ‘perceived limitation is his ‘shirtsleeves’ demeanor gleaned from association with his tradespeople on his buildings. That, however, is exactly the reason Donald has found ‘family’ in the ‘monster vote’ which and who identify with him–“Finally, someone with the wherewithal, energy, huevos, self-assurance & ‘ups ‘n downs ‘n ups-again’ resume in business’ to take on the (R) establishment which has blindly (or intentionally) drifted left into the ‘status quo’. All he wants to do is pound Eric Trump on trivia. Eric did an amazing job of standing up to him. The most outrageous question he puts to Eric is if Eric is going to continue to live in his bubble, as if Trump supporters are the ones perpetrating mass fraud on the American people. It’s gas-lighting at it’s most ridiculous and yet they keep it up like we’re the stupidest people on Earth. It’s absolutely maddening. I’m glad Sundance provides these clips because I don’t watch the MSM except for Dobbs, Hannity and Judge Jeanine.

They kept her off the Sunday shows last week because she always agrees with the media narrative and doesn’t call BS on the polls. I’d have Eric do all her interview until election today.

  24. I am impressed with this Eric Trump. I’ve seen him serveral times before and were impressed with him them times also. I remember another time he was interviewed by 3 people at the same time. 2 men and 1 woman and he did a great job. I would put him against anybody from the left wheather it be from the DNC of the Clinton campaign or anyone in the media I don’t care what channel and he would come out on top. One reason. He is just talking the truth. The truth never changes. One thing George says at one time do you really think the clintons are involved in this. With all of the tapes showing what these people said and hey the Clinton campaign and the DNC didn’t just deny it they fired a couple of these guys. Why would they do that if it wasn’t true. You have women coming out 3 weeks before the election accusing trump of this junk with no evidence but yet you have tapes of people telling us things that they have done and emails of people giving questions to Clinton before the debate but they want to keep bringing up things that have not been proven. If Hillary wins there is no way this country will recover because that will prove that the people in this country are to stupid to realize what our government has done to us. God help us all

    Fantastic interview! Eric was brilliant and stayed on point contradicting with facts everything that Stephanopoulos tried to fling at him. His composure and fact checking seemed to throw Stephanapoulos off balance. Way to go, Eric! Mr. Trump has raised some terrific children.

    I hope this interview convinced more undecideds to jump on board the Trump train.

    I know I shouldn’t pay too much attention to the silly nonsense on SNL, but it really enraged me so much to see them make a joke about Eric. Don Jr. “the brains” Ivanka “the Beauty” and Eric-silence and big laugh. So many ridicule this amazing family and sell them so short beyond belief. They are all incredibly intelligent, hard working, ambitious and honest people. Donald has obviously done a fantastic job raising his children and they all stand out as individual outstanding adults in all of their own rights.

    Eric proved he could go toe-to-toe with one of the most powerful figures in the MSM and bat down attack after attack after attack. Eric left Stephie in shambles and I was very impressed, as I always am at each of the Trump kids. Can’t wait to see what Tiff and Baron have in store someday as well!

    What we are seeing writ very large is what utter idiots we’ve had masquerading around as professional politicians and political “insiders.” They’re doing it, b/c we’ve let them get away with it and the rubric was remain civil, don’t ruffle feathers, don’t get into too much detail, promise anything sweet, but don’t deliver anything at all. Finally, in Mr. Trump, we have a candidate who actually speaks truth unreservedly and has many clues to actually get good and hard things done.
