Update: Trump Assassin Is Illegal Alien – Overstayed UK Visa To Assassinate Presidential Candidate…

update-1Earlier we shared that Michael Steven Sandford (*note* could be alias) had been planning to assassinate Donald Trump for over a year after arrival from the United Kingdom, and driving across the country.  However, as an outcome of his court appearance today we discover he was also in the United States illegally:

LAS VEGAS  –  The man facing charges for attempting to grab a police officer’s gun so he could allegedly shoot candidate Donald Trump is in the United States illegally.

He had overstayed his visa from the United Kingdom.  That information came out during his arraignment at U.S. District Court Monday afternoon.

Michael Sandford, 20, is charged with an act of violence on restricted grounds. He was arrested Saturday during Trump’s campaign rally. Police said he grabbed the handle of an officer’s gun in an attempt to remove it.

According to the complaint, Sandford told police, he drove from California to Las Vegas to kill Trump.  During the arraignment, it was also learned that Sandford had been living in his car and that he has Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.

Sandford has not been diagnosed with a mental illness but has tried to commit suicide in the past.  He doesn’t have a criminal record.

The judge ordered him to remain in custody.  His next court date is a preliminary hearing set for July 5. (link)

Not a very good plan. He had a year to plan this thing out, and the first step in that plan consisted of “get cop’s gun”. REALLY? That is one big hurdle that the rest of the plan relies upon. If I had a year to plan this thing, I would make a top priority to bring my own gun. It increases the odds significantly, as most cops are not willing to let someone take their gun easily.

Goes to show just how stupid some people are. I mean like super mega stupid. Only a liberal.

And besides, WTF does any british moron care about who we put in charge of our country. Their responsibility for theses colonies halted with King George III.

I kind of feel sorry for him too. he wanted to shoot Trump with a special gun so he practiced at a gun range with a gun he had never used before. He doesn’t appear to have owned a gun. If I had the right to handle this I would deport him back to Britain. The guy is clueless and mentally impaired. He would be better off in his own country. This is not a terrorist but a very confused young man.

        • All this coddling of criminals is really pissing me off!!! We don’t enforce the laws & that’s apparently contributing to people believing they don’t have to obey laws.
He’s a 20 yo adult that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If convicted, he should receive a very severe prison sentence & serve every day of the sentence. Then you can deport him back to Britain for us.
Hey maybe if Dimassimo were facing a minimum of 10 years in prison for threatening Trump in Dayton Ohio, these liberal rejects would think hard before attempting to execute an assassination plan. That’s exactly what occurred there, some reject attempted to assassinate a presidential candidate that’s under the protection of secret service.
By law HR-347, even the protesters that gain entry into the rally venues & verbally assault Donald Trump or intentionally disrupt the event are subject to arrest & prosecution. https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/hr347/text
You people express sympathy & make excuses for his behavior as though he were 6 years old.
Hey if you don’t have the stomach to do what’s right, then step aside so that men can do what needs doing.

This 20 year old ‘man’ is AUTISTIC! Which means he might actually have the mental functioning capacity of a 10 year old child. That’s why he thought “oh I will just show up and take a gun from a police officer they already have them there for me to use.”
We do have laws that need enforced. And it was clearly documented prior to this incident that this man is developmentally disabled! That doesn’t make him a standard criminal who just refuses to follow the laws. He might not even comprehend what kill and dead are. Do you know what developmentally disabled is?

He was also able to find a shooting range and learn how to use a 9mm Glock pistol all by himself too. Pretty amazing for a 10 yr. old. SMH….

            • Who says that guy has autism?
Geez he must have a diagnosis from years ago & have been on medication for years too.

If so, then how the hell is he able to live on his own in his vehicle, how was he able to secure a shooting lesson unless he possesses a LTC from New Jersey?
I observed that back home the guy had toy guns hanging upon a wall rather than real weapons in a gun cabinet or safe. That may be indicative that his family didn’t trust him with weapons, or that he lived in a fantasy land but that’s not proof he has autism.

That guy is facing a minimum of ten years in federal penitentiary, so I want to see real proof of autism before I believe his parents apparent excuses.

Those who function intellectually at normal or higher cognitively can, with special training while they are young to help increase social skills, integrate into society and may be employable. There are several of examples of some well known people who have become quite successful despite having Autism. This 20 yr. old appears to have normal cognitive functioning.

Think Sirhan Sirhan — not bright, but influenced, and present imho as a diversion, to permit the real shooter to do his work unnoticed.

So, is this possibly another example of a mentally-challenged person being influenced to go to a rally, and create a diversion?

I have no idea. I usually wear my tin foil hat when thinking about these things.

          Crossfire.

Someone starts shooting wildly (Sirhan, Hinkley, Weiss — who ‘shot’ Huey Long). Attention is diverted and the security people everywhere rush around with their own guns out. Nobody watches them because security is just reacting as they are supposed to.

Then the designated hitter (for Long? Bobby Kennedy? Reagan? Rabin?) does the job, which is pinned on the obvious shooter.

The alleged shooter is naturally a lone nut case (except in Rabin’s case, in which it was pinned on an extreme right-winger). Lone nut case is locked away, precluded from a real trial, and the case is closed.

I have no idea if any of the above really took place during those assassinations (and attempts); or if anything like that was in play here. But everything — including media accounts and official statements — needs to be scrutinized before being accepted.

Sanford’s father was interviewed by the British Press and he said that his son had never even fired a gun and had no knowledge of who Trump was. He feels that someone talked his son into doing this. His son could not comprehend anything about politics.

The schools in Britain have something called O levels and the amount of O levels you have when you leave school determines what kind of job you can get. He had no O levels and was unable to work so he lived with his mother. The boy had met an American girl in England and when she went back to the states he was depressed and he begged his mother to let him join her which she did believing that would be a new start for him. He had a Visa when he left Britain but he never renewed it. What happened with his girlfriend was never mentioned.

It should raise eyebrows that Sandford “had been planning to kill Trump for over a year”. For what reason? Trump didn’t even enter the presidential race until June 16, 2015. What motivation did an 18 year old (at that time) British moonbat have to target Trump?

Demonic possession comes to mind. How often do we hear of someone who kills and then says they heard voices in their head telling them to do it? I’m not claiming that Sanford experienced such a thing, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it came out that he did. Demonic activity often gets passed off as being only a mental illness, as it is being done with the killer of the female British MP.

Asperger’s is not really a mental illness, it’s a developmental problem, It’s a brain functioning problem. He could have a mental illness in addition, but the Asperger’s alone would not make him do this. Asperger’s isn’t even a diagnosis anymore, it’s just called an autistic spectrum disorder.

However, it is unlikely given the Asperger’s in addition to his young age when he came to this country that he didn’t have someone supporting him. Asperger’s can cover a wide range of problems, there are degrees to which someone is affected.

True, but maybe he doesn’t follow directions well. At least, they didn’t claim he was not able to get the officer’s gun because of California’s strict laws that close gun show loopholes and that’s why we need to ban “assault weapons” and register ammo. The Senate, at least for now, did NOT act like to total cowards and did not pass the several gun control bills that were before it yesterday. Then Susan Collins jumped in with some bill to do part of it anyway. Don’t know the fate of that bill. Then the Democrat party said it would go after any Republican Senator up for re-election this fall who voted against the gun control bills.

He wouldn’t come home, parents contacted American Embassy saying they were worried… well, WHY DIDN’T THEY CALL THE BRITISH EMBASSY ???? OMG! It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to discover that this young man’s motive was something as simple as trying to impress the American girl his parents mentioned as the reason for his being here.

She could have said something along the lines of: “I can’t believe Donald Trump is doing so well running for president. All those terrible things he said about Mexicans. He’s a fascist, bigoted, xenophobic, rascist! I would be so happy if somebody killed him!”

She’d probably already dumped him after he moved over here to be near her.
Then, considering his brain already isn’t firing on all cylinders, this numbskull decided to make her happy like she wanted, all in some twisted-fantasy effort to become her hero and win her back.

He doesn’t seem to have any other motive whatsoever for this idiotic plan of his, so this is the only scenario I can think of to come close to explaining his actions.

This reasoning isn’t too far-fetched,either, if you consider Hinkley Jr.’s motive for trying to assassinate Reagan; he wanted to impress Jodie Foster.

I’m not a very religious man, but thank God for watching out for Trump on this one, which could have easily been much worse.
