Glenn Beck Says: God Killed Justice Scalia To Make America Vote For Ted Cruz…

Radio and Media personality Glenn Beck has been campaigning heavily in support of Senator Ted Cruz for president.  Previously, Beck stated Ted Cruz’s birth was driven by divinity comparable to the birth of Christ; that’s creepy.  Beck increased the creepy quotient last week when he proclaimed Senator Cruz as the guiding hand, the resurrection, to take us through the rapture.

However, the latest Glenn Beck point of advocacy takes the creepy factor even higher than previous divine proclamations, if that’s possible:

(Via Daily Caller) […]  On Tuesday, conservative radio host and vocal Cruz backer Glenn Beck asserted on his talk show that God brought about the death of Scalia so America would “wake up” and vote for Cruz.

Speaking in the voice of the heavenly father, Beck told his audience, “You’re welcome. I just woke the American people up. I took them out of the game show moment and woke enough of them up to say, look at how close your liberty is to being lost.”

Reverting back to his own voice, the radio host added, “You now have lost your liberty. You replace one guy and you now have 5-4 decisions in the other direction. Just with this one guy, you’ve lost your liberty so you’d better elect somebody that is going to be somebody on [the Supreme Court]… The Constitution is hanging by a thread. That thread has just been cut and the only way that we survive now is if we have a true constitutionalist.” (read more)

In 2013, Rafael Cruz, who’s an ordained pastor, said in a sermon at a church in Irvin, Texas, that his son is “anointed” from high above to serve as a “king” to bring about the “great transfer of wealth” from the wicked to the righteous.

The sermon given by the elder Cruz is in line with the fundamentalist sect of evangelical Christianity known as dominionism. Dominionists preach that America should be governed by their interpretation of biblical law and be ruled exclusively by devout fundamentalists. (link)

Glenn has his issues, as I pointed out. But even a loon gets things right at times. In this case, he is making a very, very valid point. Our nation has regressed to the point where we let judges tell ALL of us how to live by fiat.

That is not how it was designed to be.

So he’s right. His religious perspective is based on his belief GOD does interject from time to time to give “hints” if you will. If you believe in GOD and then free will you get where he is coming from.

If you do not, as many in the MSM do not, then he sounds like a loon. BTW I heard the audio- there was no God voice. Even if there was so what? He’s making a point.

We’ve all been complaining on how hard its been to keep our freedoms, our privacy, our property rights, our ability to choose our way of living, our second amendment, etc.

Many of those things are still free because of ONE vote on SCOTUS. That man is dead.

To Glenn, who lives this stuff, it is an earth shattering moment. To many others, heads buried in their smart phones checking twitter and TMZ updates on Miley Cyrus, they have no clue how things would change if another sotomayor got on the court.

Nothing good will come of Scalia death. Dems will use it as an election year wedge, Republicans will panic and suck up seat cushions, Candidates will flail around trying to walk that line. And we might end up with another Kennedy at best or Kagen at worst.

If I had found the body, trust me, major CPR and then a really bad attempt of duplicating “weekend at Bernies”! “No, the judge is fine, we’ll just take him on a ride here back to DC. Quick tie his wrist with a string and duct tape a gavel to his hand.”

I think there is a combo of things going on here inside of Glenn Beck’s head.
In my opinion: he is bipolar (manic-depressive); he has messiah syndrome; he is a professing Mormon, and mormons believe they receive revelations from God which direct their behavior, and they are supposed to share these revelations with others; though Beck has not stated so, his actions over the past couple of years show that he goes along with Dominionism–as his colleague David Barton does, and also Ted Cruz.

Until recently, I could have been convinced to vote for Cruz if need be. The whole situation regarding his eligibility has me confused, is there a CRBA? The story behind Dr Carson campaign in Iowa did not go unnoticed by Ted Cruz, he knew what his people were doing. The stupid campaign lies about Trump make no sense. I means really, lie about something harder to disprove! But I can not, under any circumstance support someone under the influence of Glenn Beck. If society needed an Atheist King of the World he’d cease being a “man of religion”. He’s motives are purely personal for himself.

Cruz’s situation is not confusing. Cruz was born in Canada. Dad was not a US citizen or even resident. Mom was listed as a Canadian.

What Stu said is not what Beck said. How about taking responsibility for what you’ve said, Glenn?

Beck does not share everything with his audience. (“Truth lives here,” but not the whole truth.) Everything he does is prompted by his Mormon faith: his support for Israel; his disaster preparation; his assertion that the Constitution is a sacred text just like the Bible; his use of the phrase “The Constitutioni is hanging by a thread,” which is a Mormon trigger to step in a fix the problem; even his patriotism. It’s all about Mormonism. So, too, is his support for Cruz, because Cruz is Beck’s way to fix the Constitution and save the country.

I’m tired of the obfuscation. And I don’t understand Cruz’s alliance with Beck. He appears to either agree with Beck that he is an anointed “savior” of the country, or to be using Beck to gain the votes of Mormons and Christians.

This is crazy! We all know that one of the main reasons Romney lost was no support from the Evangelicals because he is a Mormon. Now Cruz aligns with a Mormon who is over the edge crazy and can not be controlled on what he says or does. This is more proof that the Cruz campaign is only a splinter to draw Reagan base votes from Trump. He is just another blocker for Jeb ! You notice they never attack each other. Cruz has been promised a job if Jeb gets the nomination. VP(shore up conservative base),AG, or Supreme Court Justice(job for life) with permanent national political influence.

Evangelicals didn’t fail to support Romney because he was a Mormon, it was because he was an establishment RINO that didn’t fight Gay marriage in his state, allowed pro-abortion to be part of Romney Care, and how he took over the convention to lockout Ron Paul, or even other tea partiers and conservatives – Paul Ryan as VP?

For two historical examples, look to Michigan with Gov. George Romney that didn’t support Barry Goldwater as nominee and was also liberal, or the hard campaign against Ronna Romney for Michigan Senator (twice!) by liberal republicans.

It’s both. Cruz believes he is the anointed King. The video of the ceremony is on the net. And he wants the Mormon vote. Beck sounds more schizophrenic then Bi-Polar. God is through warning. We lost our freedom way before the Judge died. Before we let judges make law and before we voted Obama a 2nd term. You don’t have to believe in God to see this. All that was needed was for good people to vote for bad people, “because the honest candidate can’t win.” Good people doing nothing. Open your eyes! It is so obvious. The only thing that would return our freedom, at this point, is a miracle. But you’d have to believe in God to think that was going to happen, right?

Just reread Beck’s comments, and I can’t reconcile them with all he has said and done.

“What I did say is ‘perhaps God allowed Scalia to die at this time to wake America up to how close we are to the loss of our freedom.'”
Justice Scalia has a family and many close associates. A statement like this can do nothing but bring them pain. Highly inappropriate.

“Why mock me for believing in a traditional view of God?”
No, Beck believes in Mormonism. That is not a traditional view of God. And reading a possible “god-motive” into every event is not a traditional view of God, either.

“Are we awake to our sorry state? I am not sure.”
If Beck can’t see how concerned people are, then something is wrong. His continued pleas only make it appear that he is begging people to “open their eyes” to see Cruz — as does the video of Beck and Barton stating “this is the answer” to their prayers, and Beck’s assertion that Cruz is “George Washington,” and the horrible things Beck has said about Trump. He waffles between attack mode and “god mode.” I don’t think he is being forthcoming, at all.

In the service of fully illustrating why the Mormon cultist Beck DOES NOT believe in the same God that is worshipped by true Christians the world over,I am linking to a few articles about Beck by the highly-esteemed ex-Mormon-turned-Christian apologist Ed Decker, who is an expert on Mormonism and the occult:

Perhaps if footage was provided of them all flying around on broomsticks screaming I’m pinky and he is the brain and we are the cult of world domination all the while pelting terrified humanity with soccer balls , teddy bears and pre packed free lunches from atop 7 mountains I might give it a glance.
Regardless I just don’t like Ted Cruz. He definitely lies and he has radical view points. I agree that we can’t be flexible on matters of principle and the constitution and morality but there must be reasonable critical thinking in all other matters, I’m sure that Ted Cruz is neocon warmonger and because he is so inflexible in temperament what choices would he make? I prefer some one who is moral but has a penchant for building things and not breaking them down. I have no problem with a pastor president but he would have to have the right temperament. I won’t ridicule Ted Cruz’s faith or Donald Trumps for that matter. I just think Donald Trump is stronger, steadier, more competent and moral enough and he has expressed his support for christians clearly . Maybe the bottom line is I think Donald Trump will do what is best for Americans while Ted Cruz might be another Obama and do more of what is right for Ted Cruz.

As a retired evangelical pastor, I can assure you that the Dominionist / Theocratic rule thing is a legit concern. Beck has been using the “code” signals that Mormons would recognize for years. He thought Romney would be the one to usher in Mormon rule of America. Cruz isn’t Mormon, but since a theocracy is also part of the goal of Dominionism, he’ll do. The other connection worth looking at is the NAR (New Apostolic Reformation) which Cruz and his dad are heavily influenced by. Both the NAR and Mormonism believe in the direct guidance of God through His anointed leaders / elders and prophets. Not all Dominionists are into the NAR, but because of its emphasis on God directly speaking to certain chosen/anointed ones, it makes Dominionism even worse!

It’s funny – Dominionists actually agree more with Bernie Sanders: there needs to be wealth redistribution and it will happen when they are in power.

You’ve got a President who will skip the funeral service for a Supreme Court Justice, and as of this morning anyway, would not say why.

I read a post by a female student who went to college with him. He drive that young girl to tears by lecturing her because her mother had an abortion while back. He went as far as calling that girl’s mother whore. I have no way of knowing if it’s true or not even though the people who spoke on it released their real names – my point is it is totally believable to me because of how I see him act now. The younger, crueler, more arrogant Cruz (before he got his comeuppances) must have been some asshole to behold. No wonder that ostensibly he hasn’t any friends at work, not even among those that agree with him legislatively. .
    2. His anti-immigration pedigree is a fabrication (note his advocacy to remove caps from pro-legal immigration of any kind: muslims coming via student visas, H1B visas, relatives, fiancees, etc. Also, the fast-tracking of student visas to green cards options and many more.
    3. His Iowa Voting Violation fine/ticket ploy which he is “refusing to apologize for” is among the more disgusting things I saw in campaigns. I will never vote for anyone who is willing to trick me into a vote, especially by scaring the naive and the timid.
    4. And finally his constant bible thumping is obnoxious and hypocritical. By fusing religion and politics he tried this for size: I will fuse a preacher and a senator and I will combine vote with prayer (Vote for me, pray for Jesus) and not doing it will be a crime and a sin.
    5. Most of his political doctrine is the same as Bushes: Russia is the enemy, Assad must go, Gaddafi removal was a good thing – so the whole Arab Spring was great guess.

Another thing is I can not see great intellect from his polemics. I know he is a “debate champion” but much of it is well learned Constitutionalism dogma ( and it’s logically impervious to argument on most issues) and a speaking trick: he put pauses between all his words in a predictable rhythm which permits him to literally choose the next word without stumbling. He also repeats things for the same reason – he is no imbecile like the Pope but he is just not as intelligent as most say. He repetition is done this way (common trick). Lets say he is listing how his father’s coming to Christ changed Ted’s life. So he would say: “Because my dad came to the Almighty, he came back to me and my mom. Because my came to the Almighty [he is thinking what else is in the list as he says this…], I had a dad to go to with my problems. Because my dad came to the Almighty, I was able to go to college…”. He could have just done “Because my dad came to the Almighty, dad came back to mom, I had my dad to help me and I could go to college.” But that would need quick word coordination which he does not possess.Gingrich had it in spades, Michelle Malkin same, Coulter does. He is not even close. It’s not a big thing, simply another annoying thing.

That will do off hand. I disliked him from the beginning when I saw him speak. Whenever he spoke to a reporter he would find a place to insert “You can go to our website tedcruz.com, tedcruz.com and…”. He would repeat it twice like we are some morons – probably some pollster showed him some research that mentioning it twice increases the chances of something or whatever else it was. So, I have to suffer the indignity of being openly forced to participate in his manipulating me. He did it on almost every occasion to Hannity, O’Reilly, everybody. So when the Iowa bullshit came around – it was exactly the same crap – manipulate them into a vote by hook or by crook. Either they listen and agree that I am great, else they are dumb and we can use them as vote filler. To me this all sucks. Where is the freedom in that
