Real estate billionaire has bank loans. Duh. They really are desperate.

Exactly John Galt. There is no semblance between Ted’s unreported loans to a political campaign and loans you or I or Trump might take out with a bank. Leon Wolfe and the idiots who now run Red State are so desperate they’ve taken to name calling and other juvenile tactics. It is not worthwhile to give them hits to keep their site afloat. Even Erickson jumped ship there.

      • Every real estate project Trump has is likely housed in its own special purpose vehicle/limited liability company. It is these entities that borrow the money to finance the development of the projects. It would be stupid to finance the projects with equity.

Okay, I’m confused. I thought really rich people just paid CASH for everything. Some of them even keep it stashed in a safe under their bed, and pull out some whenever the need arises. And SURELY they don’t borrow from banks… in fact I thought they loaned money TO the banks.:/

Don’t forget——the economy is such that it has cost businesses very little to borrow.right now. Trump has a thriving multi-national business, with ant high end properties, flawlessly run.And he is continuously renovating and rebuilding. He has already said he knows many bankers and deals with them all the time. He submitted 100 pages of financials—the media pounced, and studied all these papers. Apparently nothing was amiss–or it would have immediately been broadcast ! What is the issue? And if nothing is amiss, what business is it of ours?

I’m not sure how someone that’s been in the public eye for decades as a business tycoon using financing for his projects is big news. He’s already said he knows them all because he’s worked with them all.and made them money on the bets they have placed on their investments with him. Key line – They made money off of him, that’s why they loaned him the money. It paid off.

Trump isn’t taking out loans for his campaign. Cruz is. What is the bet the investors made on Cruz? How does it pay off? And why did Cruz want to conceal this from others where apparently Trump has disclosed all of this.

I hope they really push this. They are planting their own briar patch.

Have to say this actually may deserve an award for the most idiotic article about Trump ever! and not surprising RedState, who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The candidate who has the most money from Banks as I understand it is Ted Cruz. But of course they won’t mention that because that would hurt the Teddy and Becky love story.

Still think the best ticket is Trump / Cruz. Cruz big mistake was getting in bed with Robert Mercer and not looking at his ties with Beck. Beck is killing Cruz but the money is telling Cruz what to do. That is life with Donors!

Red herring. Trump did not borrow anything to finance his campaign and hide it from the FEC and from the voters. He did not run as a holier-than-thou televangelist crusading against Wall Street.

The hit piece makes it look like all Trump is saying that Ted borrowed money from Wall Street while he also had loans from these banks. In fact, what he is saying is Ted is a hypocrite and Ted actually broke a federal law by failing to disclose his loans, and lied that it was “just” a clerical error. And misrepresented his finances to the voters. Big difference.
Ted is done one way or another.

Assets & liabilities were carefully reported on time by Mr.Trump in a 100-page financial disclosure per request of the FEC. Real Estate mortgage financing is a tool facilitating access to ownership. Large RE development are commonly achieved through syndication (multiple international banks participation). Legal common practice

RedState should be concerned for Cruz who purposely and for political reason, did not disclose the loans provided by Goldman Sachs & CitiBank. The non-disclosure is the problem. Illegal practice per FEC rules..

You are best completely disengaging from Red State as I did after 4-years….that is, unless you’re a sadist. That culture over there is so rigidly within the Doctrine of Catholicism, it has unfortunately become totally successful in capturing the glaring flaws associated with that Doctrine, especially they’re 100% convinced that they are Holier Than Thou…there is no room for discussion on such topics as Amnesty and greeting illegal border crossers with open arms since this is “the Christian thing to do”….no room for “buts…”.

Finally, what you can learn over at Red State, is what can occur when a fine faith can get out of hand…in a fractionally more extreme sense, just review what how Vatican behaved throughout history from post-Roman, through the Dark Ages, and during their support of the western hemisphere exploration. It was all about Control, severe consequences for studying science outside of the Gospel, seeking fulfillment via expression through the Arts and Humanities, etc. Erich Erickson and his ilk have a deep, subconscious strain for Control that is all too common and can be witnessed more prevalently among the Far Left WIng and their wishes to violently quash differing opinions and beliefs.

A loan securitized against a building project is very different than a dubious personal loan, ted lying about liquidating personal assets, the campaign paying off the loan w/ interest to Ted at 18% when he was paying 3%, and not reporting it on the FEC form.

What’s so fascinating about Trumps campaign is that there’s a redefining of what we are for. This is not a GOP campaign with the tired old shibboleths, this is “New America” with an up lifting message that “if there’s a will there’s a way” to get the country back on track. Trump is well organized in his defining of priorities….close the border, rebuild our military, eliminate unfair trade practices, restore American manufacturing, reduce the middle class tax burden, send education back to the States, and begin disassembling the Federal government monstrosity. The New America will see the restoration of faith in the US institutions to deliver the most important thing of all freedom!

The mass destruction Trump put forth today was staggering. He destroyed Beck and Cruz. He destroyed WaPo and Amazon. He destroyed NR. He destroyed CNN’s selective polling. He destroyed the Des Moines Register. He praised NBC and Roger Ailes… Why? He can say “Hey, look, I praised my former employer of “The Apprentice” and now they want to hit me”? He drove a wedge between Murdoch and Megyn by praising Ailes. But, most of all, he let Fox know he may not even show up to the next debate if Megyn is there. The man’s genius is resonating throughout the land. Trump 2016!

I also believe this attempt to demote the good General is because they are afraid that Donald Trump wants to choose him as his V.P., despite his conviction because he knows that most people are ashamed at what Obama did to him.Trump sees what they are doing and makes his point by defiant defense of Petraeus.

Most people are very sympathetic to the plight of he and many other high ranking military officers dismissed by Obama surely because he knew they vehemently were opposed to his agenda.

There was retribution there for a reason.

He did let his classified notebooks get looked at by his mistress for the book she wrote. She was not cleared to see the info. However, she did not expose one scintilla of secret information.

They have made a mountain out of a molehill. Why? In order to silence him because he knows the truth about Benghazi and the phony story and the perjury since.

Everyone in Afghan knew he had a mistress and that left him open to blackmail.

They had him by the balls when they forced him to take the CIA job in order to end the surge in Afghanistan and he was stupid enough to take it. Then they finished him after Benghazi.

He was blinded by the romance and that was his fatal error.
(I dont blame him. She was a knockout. But he was thinking with his wrong brain.)

Now they want to keep it shut up for life.

BullDurham, I hate to disagree with you, but it wasn’t the fact that the mistress read the information. It has been acknowledged that she had proper security clearance to read the personal notebook that is in question. The final penalty handed down was based on the fact that Petraeus failed to properly secure the data. (He had it in a desk drawer)

That is how petty they became in order to destroy this man. However, Hillary can hand over 50,000 plus documents on a thumb drive that is handed to an attorney who makes the information available to every secretary and copy machine software in the lawyer’s office. However, at this time I haven’t seen any “failed to secure” charges leveled against Hillary……….imagine that…:0)
