ILLINOIS!!!! Some idiotic, blinking talking head was on TV a few minutes ago saying Trump needed 18,000 signatures to get on the ballot, and there is NO way he will make that level. Thus is will not be eligible in Illinois.

GET ON THE PHONE, find out where you can sign in and sign up to help. I know there is a YUGE Trump base out there. Don’t let the Democrats screwing around with the details upset his chances!

    Thank You!

Carson’s supporters are lofos, lazy do nuthin’s who don’t bother to vote, just guzzle GOPe talking points via kool ade serving FOX network, believe everything they’re told, everything they read in Ben’s book. They are not due diligence vetting their candidate. It’s whatever rolls around to their house via robo calls and Megyn/BOR talking puppet heads. They’re perfect subjects for hypnosis, very passive people. They wouldn’t show up for Ben’s rallies nor do they think they need to hear him speak and answer loads of impromptu questions. They’re couch potatoes. They have no intelligent life beyond being wide-eyed at what an amazing miracle is Ben Carson, the black Anti-Obama.

The Carson supporter I know is an intellectually lazy evangelical. Not all evangelicals are intellectually lazy, but she is. She emotes her way through life. She wants to get rid of gay marriage, but doesn’t think through that if more illegals arrive and turn the whole country into California it’ll be an evangelical’s nightmare. Nothing can be fixed if we don’t end illegal immigration.

Ben’s supporters have read every one of his books, gone to his lectures to hear about his testimonials about how God saved him, attended one or more of his
20 years of plays called “Ben Carson MD” which has been promoted by school districts
and watched his movie… all based on his biography. A generation of children have been exposed to this play in Maryland and elsewhere.

He has a Christian celebrity that amazing. Redemption stories need a person who is very flawed and is saved by God. He has built his story over years and years.

We are just finding out about his life but he is adored by many…

This political trial is just making him more popular. Trial by fire.

This type of Christianity goes far beyond our personal and private faith.

Trump can figure out a way to rise above him and continue gathering supporters.

Liberty, thank you for this information! I had never heard of Ben Carson so was completely unaware that he already has an established persona as a Christian celebrity. One of the most troubling photos I saw this week was people waiting line somewhere to sign his book. I guess that picture we saw was current and not from another time.

Here in the South we have seen our share of the travelling preachers, and I am certainly not talking about Billy Graham! When I first moved to NC and worked for a TV station, I was sent out on assignment to see a big name preacher appearing at the Charlotte Coliseum. Wow .. An older white man in a tight suit .. had loud drums beating, big tough bodyguards circling the crowd, and it was an amazing experience for a little girl from South Dakota.

When he came out on stage (and I don’t remember his name any longer) I was thunderstruck to realize that his spiritual message was how to get rich. No mention of God or Christ or religion. It was essentially give me some money and you’ll get a miracle next week. No seating was allowed in upper levels (cuz the ushers might miss you when they passed the hat) and they eventually ran us out of the faciity. This was in the late 60s and he was very famous in the South.

A couple weeks later we were sent to interview Chesty Morgan whose main claim to fame was standing erect with her 72″ bust size. The doctor who did that to her should have been shot, but Chesty was a very sweet woman. My job didn’t pay much but it was interesting work.

If you are assisting with petition signing, make certain the person’s signature is LEGIBLE so the voting rolls can be cross-checked. Ask them to print their name along side their signature if necessary. The Dems use this tactic (as did Obama in all his state elections) to disqualify signatures and, therefore, candidates.

Make certain to tell people to switch from Independent to Republican for the PRIMARY as this is the most important election!

Make copies of anything that leaves your hands!

Sign up as a judge now as you usually have to attend a short class to qualify (no big deal) and look for alternates to join you in case of illness or other emergency absences.

    • Last night I was able to switch online at our county in Arizona. Took 5 minutes, got an email receipt and there’s a way to go back and check status online. They use our drivers license to verify us. I entered mine in and my address and all info popped up. Then I just changed my party from Independent to Republican.

They said it takes 4-5 weeks for me to receive my new voter registration card in mail. But I heard that not all counties and states have the online option. In those cases you go to their site and download a form, sign and mail back to them.

      PLEASE DO ASAP!!!

He was all over the jumbotran, right behind Trump.

Trump’s people might want to screen who is sitting in the view of the camera behind him a little better. Things are going to get even uglier before election day.

The people sitting behind Trump were absolutely nothing like the crowd in front of him. And no there weren’t a lot of “vocal” protesters other than the Bernie Sanders dingbats who interrupted and they didn’t stick around long. Their seats were empty about 10 minutes later (all 15 of them).

You could tell there were a lot of Reagan democrats in attendance as they were pretty quiet throughout the speech until Trump hit on certain subjects that hit close to home with the crowd. Military, 2nd Amendment, Immigration and Manufacturing.

My personal feeling was that Trump lost the crowd a little bit when he talked far too long about Boeing (manufacturing in Seattle and South Carolina) and then China. Those are indeed important subjects but weren’t of great concern to us here in the Midwest.

I was hoping Trump would’ve picked up on the crowd’s vibe when he mentioned the Military and the 2nd Amendment as the crowd went wild (nevermind what those sitting behind Trump were doing). But then he quickly moved on. I was hoping Trump would’ve “catered” his speech to the demographics of Springfield and the Midwest a bit more than he did but maybe he’s just getting prepared for the upcoming debate.

Interesting and perceptive feedback, orry. Trump’s crowds are so large that I expect it’s difficult to get immediate feedback on how an issue hits. This is much different that addressing small coffeeshops, parades and county fairs.

He has, so far, managed to be inclusive to a diverse population, which I think — maybe I’m wrong — is critical to his platform: a president for all the people who have fought to make America great and, now, want America to be great again.

We are not, frankly, a one nation. We are a multiple nation who have agreed to cooperate on behalf of mutual betterment. The details are a work-in-progress based on The Constitution.

Anyhow, made me throw up in my throat a little bit. But it shows the rinos are finally realizing we mean business! (Too little too late) His “welcome in immigrants” speeches revised smarmily & a lot! All due of course to Trump and us !
So it also shows they’re worried, even changing those planks in their platform a little bit…but no doubt just re-sanding and varnishing to make them shiny shiny…

crowds like that for a presidential candidate are unequaled anywhere, except maybe for Obama’s crowds in 2008. Bernie pulled in some big ones but that stopped. no one else brings these huge crowds consistently and every single rally.

what’s even more significant is these voters are DEMS & repubs. i wasn’t around during the Reagan years to know for sure, but I don’t think ANYONE since Reagan pulled both in like this.

As an election judge in Illinois I can tell you that voting for Trump is not enough. You need to vote for his ‘delegates’ too. Here is what the 2012 vote looked like in the precinct I worked

You either ask for a Dem ballot or a Repub one, or as incredible as it sounds you can opt to just vote for referendums (if any). In 2012 there were quite a few people that didn’t want anyone to know which party they wanted to vote for so they chose that route. You would be surprised how many people thought it was “the” election.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the judges, except in the city, what I worry about is where the ballots are dropped off at the end of the night- The Operating Engineers Local 150 Union Hall.

Those totals, 142 votes, are from a precinct with 1215 eligible primary voters. Pretty pathetic. Romney had it sewn up by Illinois, but still pretty pathetic. I have several sisters, all hard core leftists, who insist they will not vote for Hillary. They told me “No more Bushes, no more Clintons.” I think this vote will be over after the primaries. And as you can see, it doesn’t take that much to influence the outcome of the primary. Ask around to see who you know that will vote for Trump and offer to give them a ride. Tell your neighbor you’ll buy them coffee and drive past the polling station. “Oh, look. Let me run in for a minute.” It doesn’t matter if they are registered, they will get a ‘provisional ballot’ if they are not. They don’t even need ID in Illinois.
Remember: buying your neighbor coffee to get one more vote is better than sending the money to some stinking politician.
Pat Quinn (D) won the governor race by winning three counties of 104, Bruce Rauner won 102 counties in a squeaker.
In 2004, when GWB was running for re-election and B. Obama was running for Senate for the first time, one million voters in Illinois voted for both of them. Figure that one out.

The fable of Carson’s story is that Mr. Incredible Former Stabber was the most “honest” student. Uhmm, let me repeat that. Carson states via his story that he was the most “honest” student. The confirmer said there were a couple who possibly hung around till the last while everyone caught on to the hoax and left. How this illustrates he is most honest is questionable. The most gullible, yes. There is a question over the year too. Things are not what they seem in Ben’s story – and Trump was right on about it. I would ask for a transcript to show he took a course since the one in 2002 offered is not the same and does not even have a written exam. If Ben lied about actually receiving a “full” scholarship at West Point, then he is not the most honest, and it doesn’t matter if he took a psych course or not any more. Trump was still correct and had every right as a competitor pointing out worrisome details about Carson’s Brian William problem.

I know he’s brash and rubs illegal aliens and the good ol’ boys at the Chamber of Greed the wrong way, and that’s exactly what we need. He supports the MIDDLE AMERICAN, not the extremes. 3. He is not afraid to call America’s enemies out, and that includes the INVASION of welfare-exploiting il😤legal aliens. I’m all in for Trump!
