Israel Begins Ground Operation Into Gaza – Egypt Announces Hamas Responsible For Conflict Escalation…

israelbanner7

The Israeli military launched a ground operation into Gaza late Thursday, the government said.  The much-anticipated operation follows some of the most intense fighting in the 10 days of bombings and airstrikes between Israel and Hamas.

With Egypt’s el-Sisi supporting Benjamin Netanyahu against Hamas this time things might be substantially different. If Israel is allowed time to work through the border region used by Hamas terrorists the IDF can fully dismantle and destroy the network of underground border tunnels.

    el-Sisi and Bibi.

    Wow.

D’ya think the dunderhead in the White House is confused? I’m beginning to think that he truly is incapable of sensing the circumstances, either for himself personally or with regard to world events.

    This is truly astounding.

It truly is Sharon. It truly is.

Both men, Netanyahu and el-Sisi, while facing evil, have clarity of purpose and strength of leadership.

We have noted for several years the possibility for the region. We have prayed diligently for protection, with this possibility looming on the horizon.

We are bearing witness to incredible history.

And I hope that Israel stomps the dog-snot out of all of them. I understand that war is hell, but enough is enough. I don’t care if Bronco Bama is cheering for the wrong team. Hopefully there are some foreign leaders who realize that long-term we are on the right side of all of this. They have calendars and I would not be surprised to see some of them help right this ship however they can in a couple years.

Interesting. It seems when the USA is cut out of the talks, straightforward declarations of self-evident truth appears where before it was all equivocation and moral equivalency. Hmmmm.

I had a hard time getting on their site. They must have had a ton of visitors. After about an hour I finally was able to get on and read. I think Israel used a tremendous amount of restraint in waiting this long to wage this attack.

I just heard (again-on Mark Levin) the “rhetorical question” re the issue of Israeli response, “What do we think America would do if 22 million of our people were in bomb shelters….” in terms of forceful response.

Frankly, if that were to happen under the present regime I do not assume the response would what it would have been ten years ago, or forty years ago. I think there would be a serious effort on the part of those in government who don’t care for our Republic to minimize what was happening and find ways to prevent our military from flexing its muscle effectively. Many of those who support and implement such muscle-flexing are no longer on active duty. The officer corps has been seriously reduced, purposely.

So – the rhetorical question is fine. I just don’t presume that a real-time answer would be in our favor.

20 missiles found in UN-run school in Gaza

Some 20 rockets were found Wednesday in a school in Gaza operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, the organization confirmed Thursday,

The weapons were found in “the course of the regular inspection of its premises,” UNRWA said in a statement, adding that the school was vacant.

“UNRWA strongly condemns the group or groups responsible for placing the weapons in one of its installations. This is a flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law,” the statement read.

The discovery would seem to confirm Israel’s oft-repeated claim that Hamas and other Gazan terror groups use civilian infrastructure to hide weapons.
