ORLANDO – Lake Mary police say they were called to a house on Sprucewood Road on Monday afternoon after a report that Zimmerman was involved in an altercation with another person. Shellie Zimmerman’s parents, David and Machelle Dean, live at the home, but it’s not yet known who was involved in the incident with George Zimmerman.
Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said police are “trying to determine what exactly happened.”
A spokesman for former Local 6 legal analyst Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s attorney in the Trayvon Martin case, said he had no comment at this time. No other details were immediately available. (link)

(From an article that broke 30 minutes before the “disturbance“) The house where George and Shellie Zimmerman lived during his trial – and for nearly a year leading up to it – was no trailer in the woods.
It is a gorgeous two-story, $240,000 home on a cul-de-sac with landscaping, a show-piece pool and spa in the backyard and two security cameras trained on its front door.
It’s also less than 10 minutes from the Seminole County criminal courthouse where Zimmerman stood trial on a second-degree murder charge for killing Trayvon Martin and was acquitted in July. (continue reading)
So apparently George and Shellie were living with her parents since September 5th of last year. OK, well now it makes sense why GZ took off for a while after the trial. Obviously living with in-laws would be challenging at best if you had marriage issues. 🙁
