WASHINGTON DC - On Thursday, Senate sources told Breitbart News exclusively that they have been informed that one of the reasons that President Barack Obama’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel, has not turned over requested documents on his sources of foreign funding is that one of the names listed is a group purportedly called “Friends of Hamas.”
Yesterday, 25 senators sent a letter to Hagel demanding information on his foreign funding. Hagel has refused all such requests, prompting the senators to state, “in the judgment of the undersigned, a Committee vote on your nomination should not occur unless and until you provide the requested information.” (continue reading)

Not surprised in the least. One wonders what other organizations donated to the nominee for Secretary of Handing the United States Over to Its Enemies (aka SHUSOE).
Preaching to the choir but I started sending out letters to my Senators as soon as the first peeps about Hagel appeared in the ‘trade’ pubs. I still think Hagel’s part of the Democrats plans to capture the Senate by electing Democrats in Republican clothing in red states, a twist on my old favorite the Dixiecrats. Hagel’s mouthings on velvet-gloving Iran and almost unilateral US disarmament alone should be enough to get him a professor at Berkeley. Barring that, if Hagel loses his seat I’m sure the Al Gorezeela network will give him a job as an unbiased reporter.
This guy was fighting in real combat while most of you were in diapers. He doesn’t kiss Israeli rear and doesn’t want to get us involved in another horrible, wasteful war like Iraq. What’s wrong with that?
Just because someone has served in combat does not make him qualified to be in charge of the defense department. Anymore than a newspaper delivery boy is qualified to be editor of the newspaper. BTW, I’m old enough that my friends and family members served in Vietnam, as are many others who post here. In fact, some of them served in Nam. Did you?
So Mike, you’re ok with someone is considered a friend of hamas as secretary of defense? A little conflict of interest wouldn’t you say?
