  1. Josh says:

People are dead and Ms. Bass is asking Clinton questions about letting contracts in Africa!!!!

  2. John Galt says:

Disgusting. The Rose Law Firm debacle should have ended Hilary’s political career.

  3. Josh says:

The protective slobbering of some versus the truth seeking of others happens at ALL levels of government. This is hard to listen to.

  4. sundance says:

One only needs to look at how much the Democrat Committee members are having to heap praise on to The Liar, to understand how much they consider this testimony to be dangerous.

There is a massive, intentional coverup afoot. The Dems are desperate to sweeep this under the rug…..

    • mung says:

This is one place where I agree that there is a huge coverup going on.

    • retire2005 says:

sundance, if there ever was a blatant example of what is wrong with Washington, D.C., we saw it today. There was so much glad handing and back slapping, I thought I would loose my lunch. “Good job, Hillary. We all think you are fabulous. Nevermind that four Americans were slaughtered on your watch. What a good job you have done.”

We are expected to believe that a commuication from Chris Stevens, in the hottest of the hot spots in the Middle East, requesting additional security, did not make to Hillary’s attention? Yeah, I’m buying that one, along with some ocean front property in Lubbock, Texas. Call it the “Deliberate Deception of Denial” policy, all being pushed by the most deception, non-transparent administration in modern history.

Maybe someone can tell me if Charlene Lamb, who in earlier testimony said she was the one responsible for assigning security to the Bengazi compound, still has a job? If so, why? Whose head will roll for this? Hillary is padding her account for 2016.

      • Sam says:

Last I heard, Charlene Lamb and three other State Dept. employees did still have jobs. They were put on paid leave for a few weeks, the press reported they were gone, then they quietly returned to work. No one was fired.

  5. michellc says:

I’ve been listening in the background all day, I’ve heard a lot of that didn’t come to my attention, I wasn’t aware of that, I wasn’t involved in the talking points, etc.
The most hilarious thing I’ve heard though is that the terrorists or whatever they call themselves (her words not mine) in Africa have no interest or the ability to attack our homeland.

  6. ctdar says:

Today was nothing more for some members of congress to give Clinton a bon voyage party. This q & a session (that only allotted 5 min total per committee member) should have only focused on BENGHAZI. Those members that blamed bush, championed women rights or other selfish political desires should hold their heads in shame. Those 4 brave men that died on THEIR watch deserved so much better.
    Disgusting political circus.

    • ottawa925 says:

I think the House is giving her more of a hard time than the Senate.

Regarding all these cables her Department receives? I would think there would be protocols re: the urgency level of the cable. geeez, even in email you can red flag something. Are all the cables asking for security cause they are under attack, or perceive an attack? Of course not. If so, we are in bad shape. Don’t these people know how to pick up a telephone? Don’t telephones work in 2013? No cellphone with hotline number ready to go? It’s funny tho how through all the communications sent by average joe citizen they can pick out the one that needs immediate attention cause it may involve the life of the president, or some other phoney politician. I bet if it was about her life she would have known about it pronto. I’m just not buying this “do you know how many cables we get” business. Please, spare me. Nobody could buy that argument and why she is going there is beyond me.

  7. TandCrumpettes says:

Someone please photoshop a big cheeseburger in her hands. Maybe a couple of cigars instead…

  8. mcfyre2012 says:

    “What difference does it make?”

The entire White House and State Department narrative is based upon lies…lies that the American people knew about two days after the incident occurred. There was no protest and no one watched the movie.

And her crocodile tears about the “flag-draped caskets” was infuriating, as was the sorry performance of the fawning senators thanking her for her service. The thanks she gets for her service is her salary. Rather than waste time with false praise, they should have been grilling her about Benghazi.

  9. Josh says:

Adam Kinzinger – from Illinois of all places!

  10. Josh says:

Clinton’s description of “violent extremism” is what exactly?

  11. Sharon says:

Let ‘er have it, Wolverines. She said we could and therefore, we will.

    • maggiemoowho says:

OMG, that is downright scary. Wonder how many times Chelsea heard her scream like that. Mommy dearest “I said no wire hangers”

  12. sundance says:

Key notes so far, and I need to review everything better.:

The reason for lower security (no marines) in Benghazi, is there was no “secret” information contained in Benghazi.

    • ctdar says:

Yes and according to Clinton the Congress only allows State Department to hire the cheapest security available.

    • mcfyre2012 says:

“The reason for lower security (no marines) in Benghazi, is there was no “secret” information contained in Benghazi.”

By all appearances, Benghazi was nothing more than a storage and way point for the transfer of weapons from Libya to Syria, with assistance from Turkey.

    • Patriot Dreamer says:

So what were the former SEALs doing there? (rhetorical question) And I guess a U.S. Ambassador doesn’t need a good personal security detail?

  13. ottawa925 says:

They are really giving her what for.

  14. Josh says:

Is she reading prepared responses? Has she been given their statements and questions prior to the actual hearing?

  15. howie says:

Mayday, Mayday, Mayday. That is the Secretary of State. #1 contender for the next POTUS. Mayday, Mayday, Mayday.

  16. ctdar says:

Committee just cut time from 5 min to 3 for Q&A
Nice, way to get to bottom of Benghazi murders and answer question for those 4 men’s families and our country.
Seriously, why bother with this if they are not going to even TRY.

    • Sharon says:

      Why bother with this?

So that, from this time forth and forevermore, when any person living or dead DARES to raise a question about Benghazi, the progs can adopt their most offended posture and tone of voice and say, “On January 23 of 2013, the Secretary of State voluntarily appeared at a Congressional hearing and answered every single question put to her regarding this matter. It has been exhaustively investigated, Mrs. Clinton has addressed the matter, and it is highly insulting that at this late date, you feel you must persist in your witch hunt. You are a cad.”

      That’s why.

  17. Josh says:

Clinton throws out “Boko Haram” like we’ve all heard of it.
    What Is Boko Haram?

“Boko Haram is an Islamic sect that believes politics in northern Nigeria has been seized by a group of corrupt, false Muslims. It wants to wage a war against them, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria generally, to create a “pure” Islamic state ruled by sharia law.”

“Since August 2011 Boko Haram has planted bombs almost weekly in public or in churches in Nigeria’s northeast. The group has also broadened its targets to include setting fire to schools. In March 2012, some twelve public schools in Maiduguri were burned down during the night, and as many as 10,000 pupils were forced out of education.”

Lots more in the link posted. I’m feeling too sick to continue… “setting fire to schools…”

  18. Josh says:

“…is an Islamic organization that controls much of southern Somalia, excluding the capital, Mogadishu. It has waged an insurgency against Somalia’s transitional government and its Ethiopian supporters since 2006. Originally the militant wing of the Islamic Courts Union, the group that controlled Somalia prior to the country’s invasion by Ethiopian forces, al-Shabaab leaders have claimed affiliation with al-Qaeda since 2007.”

  19. ctdar says:

Clinton said she never blamed the video? She blamed it 3 days after the 9/11 attack during the service when the caskets came back in the hanger.

    • Sharon says:

Oh, now you’re just being picky. (and accurate–but that’s what they consider being picky)

    • sundance says:

Um, methinks people forget the Hillary and Barack commercial, we paid for, and they ran in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the M.E, apologizing for the U-Tube video. They, State Dept, produced and distributed the apology commercial one week after Benghazi.

Guess none of the congresscritters thought that would have been a rebuttal to that nonsense from Shrillary…..

      • ctdar says:

5 min than cut to 3 is no where near amount of time needed for a serious inquiry/rebuttal into Benghazi. Committee of like minded members should have streamlined pertinent questions in y/n format and if anyone missed getting the question in or answer, it should have the next member pick it up on their time slot.
Good luck on getting their answer back via “written format” from Clinton, like that is going to happen in our lifetime.
I had to run out for a bit during the house testimony, did Issa or Gowdy speak?? If not I wonder why not.

  20. Sharon says:

Check out the quotes that Ed Morrissey has gathered….it’s too late to matter, but at least some are speaking up.

  21. Sharon says:

Most of the attention today will focus on Hillary Clinton’s testimony on the terrorist attack on our consulate in Benghazi, and it should — but some of it should also focus on the impact of Barack Obama’s war on Libya has had in a broader sense.

  22. maggiemoowho says:

I watched the entire hearing today and I really was expecting more questions than that big old love fest. What happens now? Will we get to hear her written responses to those who asked, will those anwers even matter. Still seems like nobody is or ever will be held responsible.
I did take note of Hillary copying Obama’s Newtown tears effect.

    • sundance says:

House Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) is a worthless piece of dog poo. No substance whatsoever to that House Hearing of any value…. Millions of Americans are pissed off that this opportunity was missed.

      • maggiemoowho says:

After watching that, all I could think was “were doomed”. If these people can’t stand up to known lies spewed by Hillary, then how are they ever going to stand up to defend our rights. They will cower from Obama just as they did with Hillary.

  23. Rand says:

Hillary is just damn glad she didn’t have to submit to Treehouse questioning.

  24. Sam says:

This was just a circling of the political wagons. These politicians, RINO or Democrat, are not going to upset their own applecart by asking hard questions. They have no intention of getting to the bottom of Benghazi. They and Hillary are on the same team: politicians. And politicians stick up for each other to keep the money and power flowing. Sorry to be so cynical, but that’s how I see it.

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson discusses the fiery exchange he had with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier today during the congressional testimony about the embassy attack in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. Johnson reacts to Clinton’s answers and details the questions he would have liked to ask had he been allotted additional time for Q&A.

  26. texan59 says:

According to our old friend Ulsterman, the fix was in when Hilde-beest went to the Senate.

  27. Cay Raymond says:

This is DISGUSTING. She also needs to be impeached and convicted and serve time!

  28. Sharon says:

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) wants to hear directly from the survivors of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack after receiving what he felt were insufficient answers in Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s testimony to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday morning.

Breitbart News asked if he was satisfied with any of her responses. “Of course not,” he responded. “If you watched the hearings, you saw me list about ten unanswered questions.”

Sen. McCain told Breitbart News on Tuesday that the committee would ask about survivors who were evacuated after the Benghazi attack. Clinton mentioned that 20 to 30 diplomatic staffers were evacuated and one DSA agent is still recovering in the hospital.

Senator McCain wants to see survivors come to Capitol Hill and give their account of what happened in Benghazi on September 11.

“They should certainly [do so]. If not come up to Capitol Hill at least be identified and take their statements as to what they saw,” he said.

Ah! So the Senator actually is capable of identifying potentially worthy targets who might, possibly, maybe, actually have some information????? Gee, I’m all impressed. At this rate, along about April 43, 2059 they should be ready to transcribe some specific information about The Murders at Benghazi. Maybe.

    • Gabby says:

Thanks for this information Sharon. One of his important constituents must have got to him because he was pathetic yesterday. Let’s see if he can get them on the Hill! This is what the press should be clamoring for, ,,,David Gregory, Andy Cooper, Pierce Morgan, lol,; where are the witnesses?. Not one sold-out talking head has asked, and if the repubs do, then they say it’s all a repub plot. They have turned into mindless dweebs without an independent thought in their sold-out, shallow heads. As long as Obama says being gay is okay, that’s all they care about, and that is the gist of it! It’s funny that even pretty boy Andy isn’t outraged about Stevens death not being covered, as Stevens was gay himself, just like Andy. Putin has it nailed lately with regard to his recent actions, including imposing a huge ban of public gay activities in Russia. Bravo Putin!

      • Sharon says:

When McCain does actually string words together as he did yesterday in a specifically bold and timely fashion, I just get so frustrated with his apparent inability to function that way during–say–the 2008 campaign? He can’t be depended on to be bold or timely with his truth-telling.

I agree with Putin’s perspective on “public gay activities” but I sure don’t wish on gay Russians the officially sanctioned punishments that Putin probably has in mind for them if they don’t do what he demands: those who openly oppose Putin have a way of ending up dead. Nor would I want American gays (including those who enjoy the Treehouse) to have to live the threatened life that obama would design for them the instant he saw it to be politically advantageous.

  29. ctdar says:

What a farce…Senate inquiry was led by Menendez/NJ who remember had an illegal alien sex offender working for him but oh that info wasn’t released til after M was re-elected in November and now released YESTERDAY, yes the day after Clinton testifying, that the FBI is investigating for his prostitution connections with girls as young as 16!!!!
Both the senate & house need clean sweep/extermination of vermin in 2014 elections
