“I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.”
TEHRAN (FNA) – Senior Iranian parliamentary sources revealed on Saturday that the Swiss envoy to Tehran has quoted US President Barack Obama as acknowledging Iran’s nuclear rights.
Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Livia Leu Agosti attended a meeting with senior Iranian foreign ministry officials a few days ago to submit a letter from the US president to Tehran leaders.
Vice-Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Ebrahimi told FNA that during the meeting, Agosti had told the Iranian officials that President Barack Obama recognizes Iran’s right of access and use of the nuclear technology.
“There are a couple of points with regard to this (US) message (to Iran),” Ebrahimi said and added, “Firstly, during the session to submit the message, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran quoted the US president as saying that ‘we (the US) recognize your nuclear rights’.”
As regards the second issue, the lawmaker said that the Swiss diplomat had also quoted Obama as saying that “I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.” (read more)

Notice how similar this is to what Obama said to the Russians, after the elections he’ll have more flexibility. The quote that he didn’t want to impose sanctions but was forced to, combine with the possible direct talks and the assertion that they should be able to have nuclear technology are clear indications of his future agenda. What is left to negotiate, a promise not to create nuclear weapons, just how do you enforce that? If you can’t stop them getting nuclear technology in the first place.
Going back to the vice-Presidential debate, one thing was said by Biden that I wished that Ryan had countered, that is that the Iranians don’t have a delivery vehicle for their nuclear weapons, this is pathetically false, the range is limited to the ME but, they have the Shahab-3 missile, a variant of the old USSR version of the Scud Missile which was develop as a tactical nuclear delivery system. Its range is enough to reach Israel with a tactical nuke attached. Either Biden doesn’t know this, or he is playing fast with the facts.

Obama and his Administration believe in that any country that can and wants nuclear weapons should have them. It is a sort of communism of nuclear weapons. The thinking is that it is unfair that some countries have nuclear weapons while others don’t. For instance, Israel has nuclear weapons, so the thinking goes Egypt should have nukes too, to provide a balance.
The thinking goes that since nuclear weapons are so destructive, no country would actually dare use them. They feel that any country that uses a nuclear weapon would become a pariah in the world, and would not risk a similar retaliation against them, so having the weapon would be in essence harmless. and to the contrary might allay fears of a nuclear neighbor by parity.
This type of thinking has been getting more and more acceptance in some circles, as a solution to some of the regional conflicts by presenting them with the option of mutual destruction, as deterrence to conflict. The utter stupidity of this, fails to account for the why some of these nations want nuclear weapons in the first place, and that most of them lack the stability to make this ideal work, not to mention the ability to keep these weapons from people who don’t care about nations or the laws of man and are willing to die for their beliefs.
Not only are these ‘people’ willing to die, they desire to die for their so-called religion. And they would be delighted to take as many other people with them as possible. Nuclear weapons are the way to bring muslim brotherhood ‘justice’ to Israel and the U,S, all at once. Remember, one of them said some thing along the line of, We (muslims) love death more than the Jews love life.
