I Hate To Rain On The Charade – - – But After Day 2 The Only Thing The DNC Has Supporting Their Hoax Is A Water Carrying Media

….. and even that fawning media narrative is not going to be near enough to help them continue the farce.   The Bloom Is Off The Ruse – The Electorate Is Awake, and the Democrats are circling the drain; with or without making up their mind on “God” and “Jerusalem”.

But to afford the benefit of the doubt to a reader who just clicked into the discussion, here is a general punditry example essentially reflective of the echo-chambering, yet irrelevant, media:

Yeah, I know this (video) is after day #1, but blah, blah, blah, the same water-carrying conversation happened last with the swooning just directed at “Bubba The Savior”. Whatever. Really, his BS is not worth my typing effort to deconstruct. Besides, someone else already did it.

I really do believe that people can see through this farce now.

The reality is there is no Hope and definitely NO CHANGE. Except for the TV ratings which reflect the exact sentiment being described right here.

[Michelle Obama] gave a strong performance day one, but, unfortunately for the Democrats, not many people saw it. Overall, the speech attracted around 11 million viewers on the three broadcast networks.  That’s about 400,000 fewer viewers than watched Ann Romney’s speech. But, the really bad news for Obama is the massive drop in viewers from 2008.

NBC won the coverage, as it did for the RNC last week. But, its viewership was down 24% from ’08.  For its RNC coverage on the first night, viewership was actually 8% higher than ’08.  CBS and ABC have even starker declines, dropping 45% and 38% respectively, compared to ’08.  Their coverage of the RNC was down also, but a more modest 25 and 38% from 08′.

Do the math:  DNC loses 24%  RNC gains 8% = a same network swing of 32% in favor of the Republicans

You can obviously see the direction, and the pollsters are also sensing the decision is baked into this cake.   We are just waiting for November 6th for the timer to go off and the final results (shellacking) to be witnessed.

I forced myself to watch 12 hours of liberal coverage for the DNC convention.   The entire day one, and day two, sales pitch was not made to the “General Electorate”;  No, it was obviously a passionate plea to their own left-wing base, which, unfortunately, also includes the legacy media cheerleaders.

But the messaging was angry, rhetorical, divisive and pandering, pandering, pandering to the audience within the auditorium, and, of course the orange finger-stained Cheeto eating sheeple dwelling in mom and dads basement, the Obamabots.

There was no uplifting messaging – no forward optimism and absolutely no reason to vote for Obama other than the threats of what the other guy might do wrong.

….Vote for Democrats, we might suck, but they’ll suck worse.  Swear…..

Not exactly a Winning The Future strategy.   As a matter of fact, I didn’t see a single policy message that even conveyed the campaign slogan “Forward”.   Their version of “Forward” was to forewarn fearful nonsense about “killing kids with autism” and other such over-the-top rhetoric.

Perhaps they are saving the positive outlook for Chicago Jesus.   But something tells me that nothing he can do or say is going to justify what people are actually witnessing in front of their face at the grocery store (inflation), at the gas pump (gas prices), and the diminished value of what few dollars they actually have in their wallets.

Metric phrases like: “Labor Participation Rate“, “Real Unemployment“, ”Adjusted For Inflation“,  “Devaluation” and ”Unsustainable Deficit Spending” have become part of the well understood verbage of an engaged electorate - THAT WILL VOTE.

The 2008 ’Jersey Shore Watchers’ who do not comprehend such pesky conversations absent of the word “Kardashian” (particularly Obamabots) are not exactly thrilled up their legs while rushing to the polls this year.

The joy of holding hands with a Palestinian scarf- wearing  Occupier semi-disappeared once they realized Mom and Dad were breaking into their trust fund to buy gas, Cheetos, and renew their membership in the i-need club.

Not.Going.To.Happen.Like.2008

Yeah, they’ll still call you racist for not admiring Chicago Jesus basketball skillz, or the hip-factor with Jay-Z/Beyonce’ chillin’ in the White House thing.

But when you explain the “situation room” is not the bedroom for the guy with sticky hair and a six-pack bod they quickly lose interest.

Be brutally honest and admit; for those who swooned in 2008, ’Afghanistan‘ is a type of dog or rug, and a “deficit” is what occurs when you stand to close to the speakers at a Lady Ga-Ga concert.

It is true what Andrew Breitbart said: ”politics are downstream from popular culture“, and, fortunately for our Republic, rock star Obama has dropped well off the charts – while the price for their Latte’ has necessarily skyrocketed at the same rate their trust funds’ have diminished.

President Obama delivers his pleading spin tonight and inflates his own grandiose balloon.  Meanwhile tomorrow (Friday) the August unemployment figures are released.

Clinton represents the tiny sliver of Socialists left who realize, Socialism’s life blood depends on taxing the profits of the productive, successful class. Clinton knows Socialism can not survive without a healthy host. Socialism creates nothing. Left to run it’s course desolation, death, and destruction result.

  2. Thanks for the recaps on the DNC, I cannot stomach to watch it. I had the choice to watch football or slam my d@#& in the door. The game was good

    What I kept thinking yesterday as I listened to their outrageous attacks on conservatives is;

Yeah, the RNC kept their speeches civil; no outright naming of obama with their criticisms of the “current administration”, fearing they’d “drive the moderates right back to obama”.

And what did we get in return? VICIOUS outright attacks on Romney and Ryan. No fear that *they* would drive the moderates to R and R.

I’m *sick* of the one way playing nice.

You don’t win elections on bashing people alone. You need a vision. The Dems don’t have one.

They are going down in flames, with or without Bill Clinton’s speech. By the way, Bill’s track record is not good:

Speech for Martha Coakley? Fail. Scott Brown elected.
Speech for his own wife in the primaries? Fail. Obama elected.
Speech for Terry McCauliffe in Virgina? Fail. Creigh Deeds gets Dem nod, but eMcDonnell elected.
Speech for Tom Barrett in Wisconsin? Fail. Bob Walker wins recall handily.

Howie, I can understand the disgusting Carville drooling, but David Gergen did too (how many other folks out there worked for Reagan?)

” I can’t remember a better speech by a First Lady, if the Democrats have two more nights like this they can possibly break the race wide open, some of the Republicans came out not ready for prime time”

it is wise to listen to criticism and reflect on it, some folks can become better

Gurgling is just another example of mediaocracy. They live in Mediaworld. An entirely different reality than realworld.

            • p3p3p3p3 says:

well I guess the real world comes at election time….thats reality

              • Sharon says:

Reality today is not what David Gergen says. …and he didn’t just start gurgling. He’s been gurgling for years. Reality is not “suspended” until election day. We’re in a fight for our nation here, and I’m not going to sit around acting like “reality” is just in the future.

You’re not really too concerned either way, are you? Your tone on this is a little off….I’m trying to figure out why.

P3′s comments speak volumes regarding intention

                • p3p3p3p3 says:

hello Sharon, I am not too stressed out, if that is what you mean, the Republic has a structure laid out in the Constitution, so there is going to be a President, as well as House of Rep and Senate, they each have certain duties as elected, representing the collective will of the people, and they have to craft bills and resolve differences, sometimes more effective as when the Dems in 2008 controlled ALL the offices and passed legislation

people, especially all the nice folks here who may be from the small towns, country or farms have to realize that the major elections are decided from large cities and their suburbs, which has the bulk of the population, and certainly there is a serious difference of issues between those two groups, but not anymore so then for Alexander Hamilton (Federalist) and Thomas Jefferson (Democrat)

I do not consider any one group or person perfect, so it comes to weighing the good points vs bad, here in Illinois I have voted Dem, Rep, Independent and LaRouche,
my favorite Governor’s (not in jail I might add) Rep Jim Thompson (4)
                  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_R._Thompson
                  and Rep Jim Edgar (2)
                  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Edgar
would not fit in with today’s Republican Party that tosses out my neighbor Richard Lugar for being too kind to President Obama or the close call of Orin Hatch who had a kind word to say about his friend Ted Kennedy, the right-to-work law, which recently passed in Indiana would not have even come into the Gov’s mind

Charlie Crist endorsing Obama should tell ya that what side the moderates are taking, and if the moderates are for him, guess where the independents are, the United States will still exist after Obama wins a second term, the founders seen to it that Government moved slowly, change does not come easy for conservative folks, and say, since the 60′s, they have been losing, look at pornography, gambling, no fault divorce, abortion, civil-gay rights

I do not consider it a fight for our national survival, just a time, periodically, to chose whom we feel is best to manage governmental affairs, for our short time here on earth, Bill Clinton had a good speech, hope ya listened, conservatives have a dislike for his moral lapse, I disliked NAFTA and repealing Glass-Steagall, but the country had great prosperity and that is what we the people care about most

                  • Sharon says:

Concern troll. Your answer confirmed what I was getting at in the tone of your stuff today….I appreciate the clarification. Time waster. Deflection. Spreading some of Jimmy Carter’s malaise–gotta cool these Romney supporters down.

                  • stellap says:

Sharon, P3 thinks we are all a bunch of “hicks”. He’s from the “big city”. He might be surprised where some of our regular people live, or used to live. P3 might be surprised to know that he and I didn’t live very far apart, or that I have lived in the “big city(ies)” all of my life.

                  • michellc says:

Hey troll I’m not even going to address your bs about the “hicks” vs the city folks, as it’s another game ya play, like your President saying we cling to guns and religion.

I’m glad though you’re owning the mess now caused by your party having control of congress. In hindsight Bush would have been better off vetoing everything your party sent to his desk.
As SD always says you progs always reveal yourselves. Bless your heart, I’m sure you were so disappointed when God was added back into your platform.

You people have became nothing more than the party of atheists, abortions and communism and your secrets are now out in the open for America to see.

          • stellap says:

Listening is fine – doesn’t mean they are truthful or correct.

            • boricuafudd says:

P3 gets his priorities straight, “since the 60′s, they have been losing, look at pornography, gambling, no fault divorce, abortion, civil-gay rights”, and shows the difference between Conservatives and Social Democrats.

They blind themselves by these side issues which at the end of the day, will have little no effect on them. They elect people who are only concerned with these issues and then wonder where did everything go wrong. They don’t see where their misplaced priorities have allow things to get where there are, but as long as there is gay marriage, or abortion at will, it will be alright.

When things get bad enough, they try to patch things, with short term solutions and pass the buck down the road. Avoiding any personal responsibility, notice that all the issues mentioned are things that deal directly with personal responsibility, abortion, divorce, gambling, etc. These are issues that are personal choices good or bad, that the progs want government to legislate for them, avoiding the responsibility of deciding themselves.

P3 says “the Republic has a structure laid out in the Constitution, so there is going to be a President, as well as House of Rep and Senate, they each have certain duties as elected, representing the collective will of the people, and they have to craft bills and resolve differences, sometimes more effective as when the Dems in 2008 controlled ALL the offices and passed legislation”
You are right but when you start cheering on a person that sees this arrangement as an impediment and goes on to bypass it, it should concern you, right now these actions may be agreeable to you, but don’t think that opposite can’t be done.

The Intellectual class supported the Khmer Rouge in their ascent to power, that is until they emptied the cities of bureaucrats, teachers, students, etc and made them all farmers, until millions died. The same has been done by the Leninist, the Stalinist, the Nazis, and all of these groups that saw social issues as the most important aspect of their societies, against the morals, values that got them to that point in time.

  6. michellc says:

The economy is a huge part of why people will vote with their wallets but when you go out and talk to people it goes beyond that.
Most normal people, not these nuts that worship Obama and the democratic party and enjoying being thought of as owned, have a natural built in sense of independence, it’s just part of nature. These people don’t like to be told you must buy something or else. They don’t like someone telling them they know better how to feed and educate their children. They don’t like being lied to and telling them you’re working hard when they’re watching you on vacation, playing golf and attending fund raisers.

I laugh at the media when they say everyone loves Michelle and how popular she is. Maybe in their circles but I have not met one single person who likes Michelle. People I talk to say she buys expensive dresses while the rest of the country is buying off the clearance rack or shopping in thrift stores. They say she’s flying all over the country on vacation with all of her friends contributing to the national debt while they are struggling to pay their ever increasing electric bill and haven’t taken a vacation in 3 years. They say they don’t need some unelected woman who is paying for a dietician for her daughters with taxpayer’s money telling them how to feed their children.
I hear people saying they can forgive a President if they think he’s working hard to improve the economy even if they think he’s going about it the wrong way. They can’t forgive a President though who they believe is more worried about his next golf game or next fund raiser than he is about doing his job as President.

People in the real world see them as the King and Queen living high on the hog demanding their people to send them more money so they can continue their lavish lifestyle even if it means their people have to survive off of bread and water and live in a tent.
If only I had a dollar for every person I’ve talked to in the past 2 years who have told me,”I voted democrat all my life, been a registered democrat since I was 18 years old, these people in Washington led by this President are something I don’t recognize, I changed my registration.
Of course I’ve heard a few and even have a few friends who can’t see what’s slapping them in the face, but for every one of them there are 10 who have left the darkness.

Deep down in the heart of this country people sense we’re losing something great and they don’t want to go as far left as they’re trying to take them.
Impressions and actions mean a lot more than words and empty promises.
An example of this is my husband telling me last night about a man asking him if he watched Michelle’s speech and he said no I refuse to what that bs, my wife did though and she didn’t seem to impressed. The man told him something that really bothered me is she wanted me to believe she’s a Mother first and this great Mother, yet she left her kids in Washington D.C. while she flew off to North Carolina to give a speech. When Ann Romney gave her speech I saw her kids with their kids there. When Paul Ryan gave his speech I saw his wife sitting with her kids beside her. So I see this woman all the time on the late night shows, the morning shows, going to give this speech and that speech, visiting this school and that school without her kids, the only time I ever see her with her kids is when she’s taking them on an expensive vacation. I’d just like to know when she finds the time to be a Mother instead it looks to me like she’s the absent Mother who shows up a couple of times a year to lavish expensive gifts and expensive trips on her kids that someone else is raising.
Now he might be a little unfair, but little things like that do make words seem hollow. I really didn’t think about it at the time but I could see how people could have that impression. If he watched again last night he’s probably really not happy because I didn’t see her kids sitting beside her.

    • stellap says:

Because the kids are at home with Michelle’s mother. Your friend is right – why aren’t those kids with their mother?

    • howie says:

This is like the Beer commercial. Taste’s Great…Less Filling. Your wallet is full…My wallet is empty…. No your wallet is full…No it is empty…. I am telling you your wallet is full, now don’t argue…. But I am looking in my wallet and it is empty….The TV say’s your wallet is full. Obama say’s your wallet is full. So your wallet is full…..I am looking in my wallet and there is no money…..

U.S. Airways is allowing anyone who was shut out of President Obama’s acceptance speech leave Charlotte one day early.

“Due to the impact that weather has had on the Democratic National Convention’s event schedule in Charlotte, N.C., US Airways (NYSE: LCC) will provide its customers the flexibility to adjust their current travel plans at no additional cost,” the airline wrote in an em

    • boricuafudd says:

Wonder who pressured them into accepting that. Think of all the disruptions to there service. Also, why would the city of Charlotte agree to this, it is one day of revenue from the delegates that they would lose. Unless, they are glad to be rid of them? HMMM.

    • 66chevelle says:

I think most of the people who are being kicked to the curb came by bus, and it wasn’t on their dime anyway. The only clouds in Charlotte right now are the choking billows of diesel fumes from the bus armada heading for I-85. US Airways, at no real cost, is getting good PR while sticking it to Obama with this, like Slick Willie did when he bowed to Barkah last night. As usual, ChicagoWayAmalgamated only understands blunt force trauma and has no idea they just had another “KICK ME” sign taped on their back.

Years ago I was working with a very sharp Intel 0-6 and we got on the subject of politics; which was very rare for us, but I asked him what he thought about Clinton. He said, “Bill Clinton is incredibly smart, but in the scam people out of billions way.” That single comment was a big deal to me because it created for me an anchor point for pondering what people are made of and one of the biggest lessons for me was that just because someone is intelligent, smooth, and productive doesn’t mean that they’re honest. Being an honest person is a virtue, in my book, and a fatal flaw that we often make is to assume that others are like us. I firmly believe that Bill knows he is full of it but who cares, so long as there are so many dupes. We are up against an army of hand-to-mouth morons, led by people like Clinton, and it’s very likely that they could win. We must fight with all that we have if we are to stand a chance of taking our country back.
