TEHRAN, IRAN (BosNewsLife) — Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani has rejected an offer to be released from prison if he publicly acknowledges Islam’s prophet Mohammed as “a messenger sent by God” well-informed Christians and rights activists said Friday, January 13.
Iranian authorities reportedly summoned lawyers for Pastor Nadarkhani to his home city of Rasht on December 30, to explain the deal. Local officials indicated they would release the pastor if he agreed to make the statement about Mohammed, Christians with close knowledge about the situation explained.
“However, Pastor Nadarkhani has refused to do so, and remains in prison awaiting a final decision on his case,” confirmed advocacy group Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) in a statement to BosNewsLife.
Christians said the pastor has made clear that making the demanded statement about Muhammed would amount to abandoning his faith in Jesus Christ. (read more)

NOTE: If you CAIR idiots are trolling this humble blog looking for provocations, maybe you can do something very relevant and show the world that CAIR, far from shilling for radical Islam, might actually speak out against religious intolerance by Iranian clerics. Obviously, they didn’t get your memo that Islam is the religion of peace, understanding and tolerance.

To CAIR et al… expect no respect for islam as a religion until you allow other religions to function safely in Mecca. Until then you will be regarded as a cult of murder and dealt with accordingly (as soon as we remove your inside man from our White House).

2) Don’t hold your breath about CAIR, they haven’t the guts to come out and say that. I wish they would, and maybe a miracle would happen, but the pattern so far has been nothing but craven whining and yellow-bellied denial . ..
