…”Norman Rockwell (optics), Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels. Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.” 8-12-22 {LINK}
Glenn Beck and Ben Shapiro enter messaging, with club financing… and we’re off. Ted Cruz in 2014, is Ron DeSantis in 2022.
The UniParty issue does not start in Washington DC, it surfaces in Washington DC.
The UniParty agenda, the origin of the crap that we see surface in a toxically corrupt federal government, starts IN YOUR STATE.
The UniParty is an outcome of the private organizations that run the political parties known as the RNC and DNC. This is where almost all voters and political followers get lost.
The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government. They are private entities, private clubs, corporations that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party. That’s where the origin of the feces begins.
The club can accept or deny membership for any person who wants to run for political office. The RNC and DNC clubs essentially select the politicians. There is nothing within this process that is even remotely democratic, representative or even visible in the framework of the U.S. constitution.
Private corporations known as the RNC and DNC run the professional political apparatus, and from that origination all of the corruption in the body politic -as outlined in the visible UniParty agenda- surfaces.
Two clubs, both funded by Wall Street power brokers, globalists and ultra-rich mega-donors, select the members who will represent their interests in Washington DC. That’s the root of the issue.
The Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Democrat National Committee (DNC), are private clubs.
The RNC and DNC are corporations, private businesses; and just like all private businesses, they have the ability to make rules, bylaws, terms and conditions of membership and association that are completely arbitrary according to their charter.
The RNC and DNC are not entities of government. The RNC and DNC are not affiliates of government. The RNC and DNC have absolutely no connection to government, other than their arbitrary business model for helping politicians enter and remain within government.
In fact, the RNC and DNC are simply private corporations who engage in the business of politics. Whenever we start to forget the DNC and RNC are private corporations, we can slip into the mistaken belief that they operate on any form of baseline altruism.
These corporations exist for the fulfillment of their mission; and their mission is to use the business of politics as a method of financial reward to sustain the business model.
Some call these private entities, these corporations, “clubs,” because using that term helps to remind us that these groups do not operate without a private agenda.
The rules within the RNC club are determined by the people who control the club charter, primarily large donors who fund the corporate business. If they have a particular intent or direction, they wish the club to support or take, they control how the club engages in the process of achieving their outcome. That effort is taken regardless of the opinion from the subordinate members in the club.
Through the process of controlling the corporations, the private clubs, both the RNC and DNC control how political events take place. Nothing within this process is contingent upon the support of the voting electorate.
Each state and local precinct has their own chapter of the club, and often the corporate direction, specifically the club activity in/around Washington DC, is different from what the local groups want to see take place. However, just because the local chapter of the group disagrees with the parent company or board of directors, does not mean the larger corporate entity will change anything.
When we are evaluating political events inside the United States, it is critical to keep reminding ourselves that what is taking place, or what is not taking place, are outcomes determined within the executive suites of a private club. This is an unfortunate system dynamic, but it is a critical point that once fully understood explains many of the issues people have with the registered politicians within the club.
The RNC and DNC are businesses. Their decisions are business decisions. The club actions, or lack thereof, are all part of the business of politics.
The tenured participants in the club do not operate arbitrarily in a vacuum. They talk to each other, communicate with each other, organize with each other, plan with each other, and collaborate for the larger objectives of the private corporation.
Nothing within the business system of DC and club politics has anything to do with the constitutional framework of U.S. government.
Again, for emphasis. The governing process and constitutional aspects of the framework within the U.S. government, have absolutely nothing to do with the two private corporations known as the RNC and DNC.
A potato farmer has no influence on McDonalds, despite the fact the fast food corporation sells french fries.
Please keep this reference point in mind.
[ The Illusion of Choice ]
“Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) re-election campaign announced “The DeSantis Playbook” on Thursday, a guide to the governor’s “Freedom Agenda” focused on law and order, parental rights, economic policy, and the environment.
The playbook, first obtained by The Daily Wire, details a lengthy list of the governor’s accomplishments for Floridians, lawmakers, governors, and Americans who might wish to follow in DeSantis’s footsteps.” (read more)
You may remember when never-trumper Glenn Beck was on the verge of bankruptcy, that’s when the weakness was identified by the bankers. The same bankers who have long exerted influence in our national conversation. The same bankers behind Ben Shapiro, not coincidentally another tenured ‘never-trumper.’ As much as things change, almost everything stays the same.
Shapiro and Beck…. It’s the multinational finance group within the worst part of the political manipulation sphere. Cruz in 2014 (prepping for 2016) is DeSantis in 2022 (prepping for 2024). EXACT SAME management group. EXACT SAME media. {link}
As we noted in the Managing of Ron DeSantis, the technique is Norman Rockwell (optics) and Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels.
Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.
Consistently present political messaging where the republican voter base can say “yes.” Keep the “yes” messaging at the forefront (social emphasis). Focus on values. Schools, kids, safety, woke pushback, media bias etc, keep the audiences nodding yes. Ultimately, it’s a sales technique. Identify with the target to influence their decisions.
Issues around multinational & corporate economics, hard lines, foreign policy, all these things must be avoided – except in general terms. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is not to be challenged, not really. Keep the message social and build the emotional connection. It is harder to break an emotional bond than a logical or cognitive bond.
These are the political techniques of Lee Atwater that still make up the bulk of the GOPe club playbook. The greatest skill of the professionally republican is to present the illusion of choice in such a way as the voters do not see it.
Keep in mind, back in Washington DC both clubs are collaborating on the Trump removal program because both clubs’ benefit.
If we watch closely, we will see a MAGA-lite, professionally controlled republican go from five-days as a pupa, to chrysalis, to national club butterfly.
And tomorrow is Saturday.
And the DC and RNC can close the primaries to only allow people in the past to vote. This was taken up to the Supreme Court.
The question I have is why aren’t they being forced to pay for the election? It can’t be a cost born by voters through taxes if they get to dictate the election parameters.
Party, not past
And McConnell uses his massive PAC money to pay democrats to re-register as republicans in order to elect his needed RINO.
I don’t believe that primary type is created by parties, it’s voted in by state law.
They not only ‘close the primaries’ they also lock the door on the National Presidential debate stage. Even the League of Women Voters (which once organized and moderated the debates) withdrew their involvement in 1988 when they sent out a press release that said this:
“It has become clear to us that the candidates’ organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and honest answers to tough questions,” Neuman said. “The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public.”
We know the debates are rigged when conservative moderators are never selected for presidential debates. Now that Chris Wallace has removed his sheep’s clothing to reveal a wolf, and Fox News was a big part of the rigging of the ’20 presidential election on Election Day, the debate con is out there for even the dimmest of dimwits to see.
And yet, they still do exactly that…As evidenced by their constant support of Democrats and disparagement of anyone else.
Nothing will change in these phony primaries and elections until the mail-in balloting is stopped and ALL the so-called voting machines are destroyed!!! Good old paper ballots is what we need, with bi-partisan representation at ALL polling places. One day voting and no one goes home until are ballots are tallied!
I agree. We need to vigilant!
The level of traffic / comments that occur underneath the two articles that point out DeSantis’ being placed under Uniparty management is quite telling, especially when one observes the aggressiveness of DeSantis “defenders”.
Uniparty activists/ influence operatives are here.
I remain supportive of Ron DeSantis as Governor of Florida.
i support only President Trump for President in 2024.
You are so right. I noticed the aggressiveness too. Very unusual.
De Santiago is great for Florida and there he should stay.
You don’t even know his name: DeSantis
Not to worry, we in Florida want him to stay four more years; more if we could have him. I can’t believe Sundance insists on bringing down Governor Ron DeSantis! What’s your problem? Why do you keep repeating all that is bad and negative but never give us a solution, an alternative. It is so easy to just write and criticize.
Governor DeSantis is the best Governor in all the US, and best ever in Florida. Hope everyone of these whining people stay away from Florida. We love our Governor!
For the first time we have a politician who has fired a Soros AG, who has penalized woke corporations like Disney, cleaned up election fraud, appointed four conservative Florida Supreme Court justices, defended parents and children from FDA mandates and LGBT sexualization, and on and on———
Please don’t make comments without knowing the facts!
Thank you Elvira. Well Said. God Bless from Cape Coral Fl
Thank you Elvira. Wish we had one like him in Kalifornia where stupidity reigns supreme.
As long as you think it’s stupidity, it will continue. When you face that it’s all intentional and very corrupt, that’s when the right moves become clear. California elections haven’t been honest in decades. Start there.
The best is yet to come!!!
You have mentioned one word about the real conversation – DeSantis is campaigning in AZ, PA & OH. Is that for his reelection as governor from FL? Posting from Hutchinson Island, FL
He needs to stay as FL gov and stop campaigning for 2024 Pres on the Uniparty platform. He is NOT full-MAGA.
DeSantis left MAGA. MAGA didn’t leave DeSantis.
DeSantis has been supporting Kari Lake, Arizona and Joe Kent, ?, both MAGA candidates in their states supported by Trump. THIS is normal for popular GOP governors to support GOP candidates in other states. I agree he needs to remain Fl governor in 2024. If he runs for POTUS in 2024, all he will do is split the ticket and give it to the Democrats.
President Trump- President, and DeSantis for Vice President.
Elvira, I think you need to read the title of the article again.
Nowhere Sundance suggested that he is bad for FL.
How convenient of you to forget how this very same Sundance glowingly praised DeSantis.
You are in FL, and you are absolutely right that you should have DeSantis there as long as possible.
Sundance articles is about how he is part of GOPe. He absolutely wants DeSantis to stay as FL governor. He is a resident of FL.
This article is meant for people like you whom are so short sighted and think that Sundance wants DeSantis to lose his reelection.
Understand the splitter strategy deployed to split the MAGA vote, and eventually lose in 2024. Come back to all of us if you agree. Come back to all of us if you disagree backing up your claim regarding where Sundance is wrong. Sundance laid out the proof backing up his claim.
No one, including Sundance is disputing that DeSantis is great for FL. Think nationally since your grievances are based on thinking locally.
Great explanation.
I totally agree as a central Floridian. However, I appreciate Sundance pointing out that Ron’s backing is heavy on TPP pushers, which is horrible for the US. POTUS is an international position, we do not need a president making bad deals for America. We need good international deals and relations. Trump was excellent at improving the situation with NATO, forming a NAFTA replacement, befriending Kim Un Jung and getting our dead returned, preventing unnecessary wars and more. He was also excellent at returning our economy to main street from wall street. THAT is what we need in the White House. DeSantis is not going to bite the corporate hand that funds his elections. Trump does not need them.
Can you contest the facts? Has DeSantis mentioned Trump’s name? Has he actually come out to genuinely condemn the attacks on Trump by the corrupt establishment?
All of these politicians know which boxes they should check to win the support of the people. And yet, on command, they will depart from those check boxes. The patterns are common and clear.
I too appreciate what DeSantis has done. But the uniparty can and often does corrupt people just when a candidate has won a lot of support. The signs are there.
Do you deny the signs?
Right you are.
Agreed. Desantis is good for Florida. Trump is great for America.
The media/clubs loved McCain, until he ran for president.
We were told the same thing, gop voters are always told, he will pull in the middle.
Same story with Jeb, and Romney……
Meanwhile the left runs candidates left of Moa and doesn’t care about the middle.
Our first goal should be get good gop elected for 2022. But never ever vote democrat. Even Oz in Pa. he is a seat holder.
What about voting Democrat to get rid of seat holders like McCain and McConnel? The country would look better for it.
It would seem like a temporarily good idea, but when you consider that almost ALL Democrats vote as a block in the House and the Senate, you’d just be given them one more vote to pass anti-American, anti-faith, anti-family, anti-Constitutional bills. If I lived in a RINO-represented state, and could not get a MAGA candidate past the primary, I’ll hold my nose and vote the RINO. At least when it comes to taxes, the RINOs lower them when they’re in the majority (ref. Dec. 2017).
Why did Trump endorse Oz in PA? Oz is polling behind the democrat who can’t even talk. And why did Trump endorse Michels in WI, when it was Ramthun who was in there fighting for Trump against Vos since 2020? Both bad choices for the people in those states. But they both have money and Oz has fame, and that is what Trump gravitates toward.
Excellent point. We have to support Trump fully until the Maga movement runs the GOP. Only then can we be sure the RNC will groom and support patriots with spines. Even then we will have to be doubly vigilant to keep the money snakes from crawling back in.
Screw the RNC, they are only there to fund the candidates that will play ball with the deep state.
RNC fundraising messages have become repulsive, aggressive emotional appeals that make used are sales pitches look genteel and intelligent. I never give them money any more. They are detestable.
That’s “used car,” not “used care.”
Ditto GB Bari!
I think these articles on DeSantis needs to be at the back of every enlightened ones reading it if not in the forefront.
DeSantis has proved that he is not the one to be expected to stand up to the deep state for we-the-people.
I always believe that there is a reason for events to occur – be it the golden elevator ride, followed by the winning, followed by the revelation of deep state, followed by the constant targetting of the winner of two consecutive election by President Trump, followed by Uniparty running scared because of their candidates getting primaried, followed by the desperate MAL raid, followed by the revelation of DeSantis, followed by these reminders and sunlight shone by Sundance after the way DeSantis behaved that led Sundance to look at DeSantis from POV of Uniparty club. Like our President says… the best is yet to come.
I am willing to bet my last dollar that absent the MAL raid, DeSantis would not have received this mind blowing analysis by Sundance on DeSantis.
I would suggest to all hardcore DeSantis and President Trump’s fans/followers, keep an open mind and have these articles in your back pocket for reference.
Afterall Sundance has not always being right but he has ALWAYS corrected himself once he realized that he/we has/have been fooled ….. cough Bondo Barr … cough cough Tillerson …. cough cough “Mad dog” Matis … (I think I should stop fake coughing before I end up with real cough)
👍 🤓
Right on GB Totally agree
TRUTH: Trump IS the current president
He should be, but was cheated out of it. That’s why he can run again in 2024.
Ditto.
I wouldn’t count them all out like that. Some are wanting to cling to their faith in DeSantis because he has made some remarkable moves. When Sundance came out identifying the patterns exhibited by DeSantis, I was skeptical. I decided to let some days pass before picking up my torch and pitchfork.
Days passed and Sundance’s assertions have not been proven wrong.
Some people are slower to come around than others. But I’m inclined to believe both DeSantis and Jones are now under the control of the uniparty. I just wish Trump would point the way…. or Pence… he points the way to RINOs so if we get a Pence endorsement of DeSantis, that should close the matter.
Tim Scott is also Uniparty.
President Trump has a skill that is very unique. He knows what to do and/ or say that draws out the deceivers from behind their masks or disguises. Their desperation to achieve their end goals is their Achilles heel.
There have been a lot of comments here decrying the language of DeSantis’ speech at the Pittsburgh rally for Mastriano. When analyzing the content and tone of political stump speeches, it is important to keep the site and audience in mind. Did Trump carry greater Pittsburgh? If he did, then a stump speech lauding him to the skies is very much in order. If he didn’t, then it’s prudent to laud presidents from both parties, who are safely dead. JFK and Reagan are the obvious choices.
Nixon used to say that all politics are retail. And he was right. When you make a pitch, it helps to be selling a product that your audience wants to buy. This is what DeSantis was doing today.
DeSantis is selling himself.
Sad to have it proved over and over again that every man/woman has his price. Like the old quip: “We’ve already established what you are, the only other question is, what’s your price”?
Contrast to President Trump, who never changes his message dependent on the group he’s facing.
Please bear in mind folks that Trump is one of few billionaires who have loved our country enough to run. He can afford to step on corporate toes. Even so, they made it cost him and his family’s businesses. DeSantis is not a billionaire. DeSantis has earned a good living but he is not super wealthy.
If you have ever been to a GOP state convention, you see this. Votes can be held, people can express their opinion, but those people on the stage, the ones in the high-dollar suits, are the ones to tell you what your State GOP party has decided via the votes. It does no good for those in the seats in the audience to object since they are immediately told to “shush, as we are now moving to the next part of the program where all those people selected will thank you for your participation and support’.
Afterwards, they all all go to the VIP lounge for drinks and a lobster dinner, while you are left to figure out a way to get back to your over-priced hotel room.
Been there, seen it, and didn’t even bother to buy the $25 t-shirt.
Been to every republican state convention here since sometime in early 2000s. Yes, there is generally an attempt to “stage manage” the convention. But what I often see is an attempt by “insurgent” delegates to filibuster conventions. You never see these delegates on the platform, resolutions, or rules committees, or really doing any party work at all. They get elected as delegate with no idea about how things work. But they are quick to run their mouth about RINO.
DeSantis is not running in 2024. I know this with absolute certitude.
@ChristinaPushaw
lol
Ron DeSantis appeared with Mike Pence.
Do Not Forget That.
Two things that should never be seen together.
Donald Trump picked Mike Pence as veep. Pence destroyed MAGA from the transition.
Do Not Forget That.
He didn’t; the republican party did.
He absolutely aided in the removal of General Flynn. He lied about him and never recanted or apologized when the truth came out.
Daniel is correct. Pence acted on behalf of the Republican Party.
Audience says: Trump did not ‘pick’ Pence. The Uniparty heavies picked him FOR Trump. DT believed he understood the ‘process’. Same as when he was pushed to declare the ‘National Emergency’ on March 11, 2020.
The former president has been used to reinforce the reality of the Uniparty. Let’s not forget that he was once a Dem and switched parties…during a period when the Uniparty was forming.
The creation (led by DT, perhaps) of a 3rd party would take care of that. Just a thought…as my mother used to say ‘a new broom sweeps clean’.
He got what Mitch and others allowed hm to have in his admin. Other wise, he got NOBODY. Proof: longest line of nominees NEVER brought up for a vote. NEVER.
He got what Mitch and others allowed hm to have in his admin.
Why do you think he’s been working on getting rid on MM?
Sad truth..hope Trump is more selective for the next Administration….
If he had been more selective, we never would have seen how deep the swamp is, never forget that. It had to be done this way for us to awaken from our stupor!!
AMEN!!!
God’s ways are not man’s ways and he wants everyone to belong to Him.
Sad, but true. He has the uncanny ability to pull the curtains aside, by just being who he is, and exposing the corruption, deceit, and lies. NO ONE ELSE can do what he does.
Trump did a lot of things that turned out to look like he did not choose wisely, however I urge you to consider that Trump’s goal was and is to expose the deep state, put them in positions where they felt they could safely betray the POTUS. The greatest sting op ever and still playing out now.
Did President Trump pick Pence or US MILITARY?
good question
The Great MAGA King Donald J Trump Dominates TPUSA Poll For 2024 With 79%, DeSantis 19%,
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/07/24/the-great-maga-king-donald-j-trump-dominates-tpusa-poll-for-2024-with-79-desantis-19/
I think that one thing we have learned over the past eight years is that we don’t want ANYONE in office who the Deep State (Mainstream Media included) allows to run without setting up a Russian hoax, organizing an investigation, wiretapping their residence, trying to impeach them twice, and breaking into their home to plant evidence. DeSantis is too clean to be president. We need a rebel who loves and fights for the American people at his own great expense.
Trump is popular because he’s a streetfighter (actually a brawler) who kept his campaign promises and did so against a very strong headwind of opposition.
DeSantis clean? Disney do your research!!!
The RINO club is more concerned about moving away for Trump than actually developing a platform of ideas and polices to sell to voters.
November is not looking that encouraging.
There are ways to deal with that. The Republican Part platform is great, always has been. Most Pubbie elites laugh at the idea of actually using it.
What an idea for a candidate, actually promising and adhering to it.
People are desperate for truth and promise keeping…By setting the standard up there, and fulfilling it, plank by plank, the candidate will embarrass the frauds, and endear himself to his/her voters.
Was is the operative word here because the Republican AND Democrats as well as Libertarian parties have ALL been infiltrated. We need a clean sweep. Replace every one with MAGA verified and as a priority, start with all the state and local offices. there are more traitors at the state and local levels.
Ain’t that the truth, the GOP platform always sounds like exactly what I want. The execution leaves much to be desired – to wit – Obamacare – Ukraine funding.
Well it’s going to be better than previous elections because a lot oh the Rhinos are gone and the GOPe is suffering the death of a thousand cuts. Keep supporting and finding great MAGA people at all levels. Trump won’t be with us much longer. He got ulour foot in the door, it’s up to us to kick it open so the DeSantis types work for us and Maga
Ok, so at best Trump is in for 4 more years. Then what? If not DeSantis then who? SOMEONE has to take over in 28. It’s fine to shoot down and attack everyone that isn’t Trump when Trump can still run but then what??
Larry Elder!
@Whoseyore
Elder is a lousy pick.
As seen in his run for CA governor, he thought name recognition alone would lead to an easy win. Instead, he lost.
To become POTUS, you must campaign in communities that aren’t diehard GOP and convince them that your policies would be beneficial to them. Elder is unwilling to do this work.
Larry Elder caved, immediately.
Mark Robinson. Now THAT’S a VP candidate.
Then we look at what our recent “farm team” of the last several years has produced. While presidential candidates usually come from the ranks of governors or the Senate, that doesn’t need to be the case. See: Trump.
Maybe a Freedom Caucus House member like Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, or others. Maybe Kari Lake, or Mastriano if we can put them over the finish line this year and observe how they do.
Heck, if MAGA folk continue to do well the next few elections, the GOPe’s power may continue to decline to the point that DeSantis kicks them to the curb and re-aligns himself as full MAGA before ’28.
Six years is an eternity in politics, none can say what might happen.
“presidential candidates usually come from the ranks of governors or the Senate, ”
Because…. they have all been compromised in some way and cannot be trusted.
IMO we need to dismantle the entirety of GOV., Rebuild it according to the Constitution- States, we the people control, not Gov.
The opportunities for graft are so hugely magnified in gov’t, that many of the benefits must be removed,
and then we will get a better set of representatives .
Social Security and Medicare MUST be dealt with…Notice how no one presents a similar system with new ideas? And I am on both…
We have Chile’s remarkable system, written up by Pinochet and Miltie Friedman in the 70s, made Chile the richest country in S. America for decades. Of course, once Pinochet was gone, the leftists got in there, and destroyed the system.
A Direct Primary Care system, with a suitable major medical policy for biggies like heart attack or cancer, open and transparent pricing on everything, would be a start…The more competition, the better..
Right now we need to be about the business of securing the nation. Only Trump can do that, he has the scars to prove it.
Thomas Massie
Ken Paxton
Six years in politics is a lifetime.
narrow it down for yourself – do you want a rino or MAGA?
we are only shooting at rinos
Please do not put DeSantis and President Trump on level playing fields not even remotely close!!!
Let’s stay focused on 2022 primaries and 2024 POTUS election. If MAGA succeeds, God will raise up a new MAGA POTUS candidate, which could still be DeSantis.
Kyle Bass … Wealthy, smart, China hater, very likable guy, not a power monger. I have been wanting him to run for something for a while..
TX Senator?
Sundance, you always say so perfectly what I know in my heart is going on, but can’t pull it all together. I have been trying to warn my friends and family that DeSantis is owned. He was allowed to do all of the little MAGA things for Florida to rally Trump’s followers around him so that he could lure them in for the vote.
We need to get this out!
And Gov. Younkin of Virginia is ex-CEO of the Carlyle Group.
The old Bushie Investment Co.
I live in Washington state. From that perspective, Gov. DeSantis has most assuredly done more than just “little MAGA things.”
DeSantis owns property connected to the trafficking industry. Think he doesn’t know what is occurring there? I can’t recall the source of this information but just know it was from a trafficking survivor who has done interviews about her experience and the locations involved that she is aware of .
You’re going to have to present more real evidence that that, if you want to slander him.
“Child trafficking” seems to be the slur of the hour, with little proof…And it’s a heinous idea.
One if the 10 Commandments tells us not to “bear false witness” against our neighbor.
We should endeavor to be careful about accusing others of such a heinous crime, WITHOUT IRONCLAD PROOF.
Oh, Sundance. I wish I could shake your hand. This right here is the big tell. No discussion of TPP-like trade deals or foreign policy will be permitted. You are only allowed to keep things within the parameters, and cheer the assembly line of sloganeering. Every election I notice that the foreign policy discussion is hardly ever broached. I can’t tell you how much the partisan media tries to keep us away from candidates that will actually shake the apple cart. What they did to Ron Paul in ’12 will never get out of my head. Ever wonder why people don’t talk about Rand Paul these days? Cruz has always been in the Bush orbit, so I never wanted this guy to go higher than a Senator.
Great post, D&R rarely discuss foreign policy or, foreign trade… they just do not understand economics and never really know what are our national interests.
Are MAGA at Heart Patriots too Stupid to see GB, BS as Aholes they are? Answer= NO! RD is not going to be Pres till the Damage is completed. He will be forgotten soon enough.
Ron DeSantis will be our (GOP) version of Joe Biden.
Excellent article. Spot on!! Thank you!
Jesus Christ, you people are fickle.
Thank you for your blessing….
I think most have learned to look behind and between the lines for the truth.; That’s not fickle, that’s the only safe way to move forward and stop this evil mess. Be willing to admit when we are wrong and MAKE corrections, logical.
I noticed DeSantis held an Election Integrity press conference exactly when Judge Reinholt was going to make his decision to release the FBI affidavit. Suddenly he is everywhere!
its almost like DeSantis is competing against Pence LOL
they both are every where
Trump 2024
MAGA!
Fix 2020
“The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government. They are private entities, private clubs, corporations that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party. That’s where the origin of the feces begins.”
I have been saying this for years. I don’t vote in partisan primaries because I am not a Democrat or Republican. Primaries are parties picking their candidate. The US government should not be involved in primaries. Each party should hold their own, each party pay for it’s primary themselves, and limit the voters to party members. Then put their candidates on the ballot along with lesser parties and independents that qualify for the government run general elections. Open primaries encourage election interference, and it would do away with this new and evil ranked choice voting where the government bails out lesser candidate they prefer.
You make more sense than most do, Thanks.
On point!
Great callout on Beck and Shapiro. I’ll never ever forget Beck’s public stabbing of Trump in the back when he said on air just prior to the 2016 election, that we should all “ just vote our conscience” which was a subtle hint to vote for the known and proven thief, the Queen of Corruption, Hilary Clinton. And he uttered this garbage after years of exposing her.
Both him and Shapiro can’t go bankrupt again soon enough.
And yes , seeing Little Ben going all in on the Corey “push” of that weeping gal reporter (Fields) “It was worst than my Father’s death “ or words to that affect on CNN – then I knew the shark had been jumped, but Little Ben’s support was unwavering. BTW it was Candidate Trump’s CCTV that showed that Corey was more like squeezing by an elevator crowd and didn’t push anyone down … CCTV wonder if that will play a role now ? … you can bet the DOJ will fight that , but they can blur faces/voices whatever of agents etc .can’t they ?
Remember that FL is only one election removed from Andrew Gillum who almost won. RD is young maybe 2028, Unless something happens to PDJT.
But Nice last sentence, always good to look on the …. ( sarcasm)
and don’t forget that it was President Trump who held rallies for
DeSantis which carried him over the finish line
DeSantis’ silence during the invasion of Mar A Lago spoke volumes. If you need more evidence of what this article nails- you are asleep at the wheel.
unfortunately, many are not only asleep, but brain dead!
Agree.
It happened in HIS state, after all.
Thats unforgivable, and shows which side RD leans towards when under the gun.
And this is precisely why I refuse to give any funding to the RNC or NRSC…..I was a County Republican Central Committee member here in Ohio, and was stunned at just how much corruption was involved in just MY county. If you have a genuine zeal to change things, as Trump does, you will be headed off and actually singled out to be shunned. I tried to get the phone numbers of other Committee members in the county to try to set up a rapport and strategy with them for our county and was totally shunned. They wouldn’t even return a call, text or e-mail. The entire Republican STATE Central Committee is the exact same way. THIS is why we have a disgusting RINO as a Governor, and as one of our Senators. The PARTY is totally corrupted with those RINO phony’s.
Every one of them is a social club.
Selfishness will be the end of all life on Earth. It starts there.
And they pull the $$ from AZ, PA & WI the three states where it’s needed
Glenn Beck started out as anti-Trump, as did many conservatives, particularly those who grew up with him in New York.
But he now has the zeal of the converted. He is also well aware of the corruption in the RNC and DNC. And in case you don’t know this, he has launched a one-man mission with state legislatures to kill ESG and the WEF, and he is having stunning success, at least so far.
Lumping him in with the establishment blob is wrong-headed. He is not one of them. He’s also hilarious, which is a bonus these days.
I will just say this … way way off – ‘those who grew up with him… ? ? ‘ … As a private investor outsider from Queens he was never accepted by the NYC in crowd – either the NYC Dem elites or the old line liberal NYC Republican Wasps. If your thinking of Gasparino or Cavuto , they both hate President Trump for personal grudges that have nothing to do with politics.
Sorry, will never trust Beck. Anti-Trump is one thing, Cheeto-face is a whole other deal. A stunt like that, in your fifties? Uh, no.
The RNC and DNC are the largest monopolies in America. They cellophane wrap a product/president with all the advertising bullshit to sell America down the river to line their pockets. They hide behind the American flag and pretend to represent the American people. One huge Rico fraud business.
Beautiful…
The Return of the Soccer Mom! Lord, have mercy!
Only Trump only Trump! Can’t wait to see who the whiner in chief wants to lead Florida as ‘deep state’- RINO – Uniparty guy is doing such a bad job. Stick to blogging
So how about a photo of former President Trump and some of his children and maybe a couple of grandchildren? There are about 9 of them, I think.
It seems to me that FPTrump is pictured by the lying media as a sort of loner, but really he is surrounded by a large family of sons, daughters and grandchildren.
Also, his children are all functioning adults, no drug addicts in this bunch (that we know of).
IMO, it is too bad of the clubs to try to set up Ron D. as an alternative 2024 presidential candidate, although I know it is because of TDS. Too bad.
Maybe we could push a Trump/DeSantis ticket?
I do my best to put these facts in front of people who have not been blessed to know about CTH and Sundance.
People who don’t understand that the republican party and republican elected officials don’t work for the voters…they work only to advance the interests of the Party.
Political parties have STOLEN the loyalty and obedience of OUR servants.
That power belongs to CONSTIUENTS only!
We must take back that power from these private clubs…take back the loyalty and obedience of OUR elected officials.
The clubs must neutralize Desantis. Unlike Trump he can be bought, so they’re doing that.
Trump will wipe him out, if they meet.
More CTH DDS.
Oh … soft tones … unacceptable.
LOL
I am not signing the search warrant to raid Governor DeSantis’s home for the crime of being a MAGA enemy.
The Affidavit is based on speculation, conjecture, and suspicion.
A picture of the Governor with his family?
He’s seen talking with Traitor Pence?
Receiving campaign contributions from anyone who is non-MAGA?
He has political aspirations beyond Florida?
I am sure Judge Reinhart, once you give him some Bourbon and Vanilla Oreos, will find the evidence sufficient and sign the warrant.
I will reconsider my decision when I am presented an Affidavit that is supported by actual evidence.
DeSantis is a great governor for Florida, but he doesn’t have the power to take on the Swamp Rats. Just like many politicians before him who sounded promising in less demanding venues, he will fold like a cheap suit when the jackals come after him if he tries to oppose them in DC. He doesn’t have the personal wealth of Trump to take on these crooks in court. He will be bought off.
It is a HUGE mistake in his career to compete for the 2024 election against Trump. Rightly so, Trump won’t trust him to offer him the VP on the ticket. If he was smart he would just go for VP under Trump. Trump could help him learn the ropes for a few years before he could continue the America First agenda on his own in 2028.
Nope, I won’t support DeSantis for POTUS if he tries to split the MAGA vote.
Let’s play devil’s advocate and say Trump can’t run in 2024 (health, legal reasons, whatever). Who’s your choice?
As a New Yorker-turned-Floridian, I can remember Trump being nothing near MAGA for decades (he donated to Dems and Republicans, as needed for his business). He’s a late-in-life convert (better late than never, admittedly; I voted for him twice and would happily do it again).
DeSantis’ problem is timing. If Trump runs in 2024 (all but certain barring extenuating circumstances), DeSantis will be term-limited as (a great) governor in 2026. Having 2 “dead” years before 2028 (even if he runs for Congress again), could put a crimp in any hopes of being president. But he’s probably smart enough to know that taking on Trump directly would likely be worse.
Truths be told! As a corporation, the DNC, with Obama then as leader of the party, went to court over the primary with Sanders in lead.. clearly stated in court that they are a corporation and can elect who they wish. So all that money that was donated to Sanders??? What a fraud. Clinton was never popular.
Watch the wives. Casey DeSantis is not Melania. It matters.
Casey, what’s wrong with her? She is beautiful & was a very good news reporter. So she is savvy.
she is also a mom of young children & has just fought off canser. So leave her alone! Go after her husband all you want.
Anyone who watched the turn of events around the Miami condo collapse should know who owns Ron.
The insurance companies in FL now require a new roof after 15 years or they won’t insure you. All condos have effectively had their (our) insurance rates doubled. Because of this it will soon be unaffordable to live in FL as a senior on fixed income. The legislature made this law and DeSantis signed it. This year.
No politician gives a rat’s about his constituents no matter how “For the People” they claim to be. The sooner we all understand that the better we will be.
A few thoughts on this. Glenn beck was a Trump skeptic; he now supports Mr Trump because of Trump’s achievements. Mr DeSantis has certainly done more for his state than other Republican governors for theirs; I withhold judgment on his GOPe status. Finally, I wonder what Sundance’s views are on Bannon’s Warroom and the Precinct Strategy Project that is trying to get MAGA supporters into Republican precinct committee positions to change the GOP, one hopes removing the “e.”
This is truth. This is exactly why I jumped on the Trump train in 2015. Senators do what either Schumer or McConnell say nearly without exception, though there are a few. Same in the House. These people represent themselves first by behaving as told in order to maintain their elected positions. They generally care nothing for us as they launder our money to get rich. They don’t write laws, hell they don’t even read them. They film themselves pretending to get angry at things and love it when they are temporarily out of power cause that’s when the real money making happens. They purposely do not solve any of our national problems because they fundraise off of them every 2 to 4 years. Do you ever wonder why nothing was accomplished in the first 2 years of the Trump presidency? There couldn’t be a better example, except maybe 6 billion dollars to Ukraine, which comes back into their pockets by way of Raytheon. Who would vote to ship out mor than 60 billion dollars to a foreign country in this inflationary environment with a wide open border? Well lots of Republicans joined lots of Dems in that one, right Portman, Chabot and Weinstrup? Truly sickening.
I can see why a Trump supporter would want to tear down DeSantis, before he becomes a “threat”. That’s politics.
The 1st amendment guarantees the right to association as implied by the right to speech (NAACP v Alabama). Political association has to be one of the most important types of association. It was the progressive movement in the US from 1890-1920 using “time and manner” provision in the Constitution to impose state-controlled ballots and primaries on political associations. Now we see states want to dictate to party associations who can advertise themselves as the nominee of that party. Sundance seems to agree with that idea as “democratic”.
This is where I have to disagree with Justice Thomas as I find Justice Scalia’s dissent compelling in Washington State Grange v. Washington State Republican Party 552 US 442:
“Among the First Amendment rights that political parties possess is the right to associate with the persons whom they choose and to refrain from associating with persons whom they reject. Democratic Party of United States v. Wisconsin ex rel. La Follette, 450 U. S. 107, 122 (1981). Also included is the freedom to choose and promote the “ ‘standard bearer who best represents the party’s ideologies and preferences.’ ” Eu v. San Francisco County Democratic Central Comm., 489 U. S. 214, 224 (1989).
“A political party’s expressive mission is not simply, or even primarily, to persuade voters of the party’s views. Parties seek principally to promote the election of candidates who will implement those views. … Parties’ efforts to support candidates by marking them with the party trademark, so to speak, have been successful enough to make the party name, in the words of one commentator, “the most important resource that the party possesses.” Cain, Party Autonomy and Two-Party Electoral Competition, 149 U. Pa. L. Rev. 793, 804 (2001).
You are so far off on DeSantis, it is stunning, really. Not sure what to make of it, but you won’t be taking me down this ridiculous path with you.
It looks to me like RD doesn’t want to touch Trumps brand of MAGA.
Which, as a politician, is understandable.
He’s got his own brand, and he’s banking on it.
Thats a totally practical, political move.
Still, his silence is deafening.
I’ll say it again. As a Florida resident, DeSantis has lost my vote for this fall.
I cannot and will not support anybody who aspires to be the second coming of Ted Cruz. Not even for dog catcher.
So Sundance- are you saying becoming a precinct committee person and getting voting rights won’t matter in the RNC?? Which operated differently than the DNC where they pick.
I’ve been wary of DeSantis since the beginning…too smooth …too polished and when he began to back off of President Trump, we’ll that kinda sealed it for me. He’s just another politician mouthing the things we believe and want to hear from our leaders. I hope Trump is aware of his ambition and disloyalty, and has brought him into the spot light in order to expose it.
Guess I’m just saying I don’t trust the man.
I couldn’t agree more! Sundance highlights the reality of bottom-up corruption.
Why couldn’t we stop them with just the Trump Goliath? Because the infiltration is at every level and exists from the roots to the top of the tree.
We have to weed them out at EVERY level. No more can we just vote “down ballot.” Caring requires work. Time to start caring.
good article I feel you hit the nail on the head. I don’t know much about DeSantis, however what I do know is that Florida has had a lot of human and child trafficking and he did nothing. This says a lot to me. If someone no matter what they run for knows or suspects this type of activity and does not respond quickly they are out in my book. From wshat I have seen President Trump’s success is keeping his enemies close!
One of your super-superb best, Sundance. Sending this out to many who still don’t see.
