The bill now goes to the House, where it is going to be put on ice by Nancy Pelosi in order to save Joe Biden from an embarrassing rebuke of his overreach. However, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked today if the House were to vote on the bill, would Joe Biden veto it.

Don’t get me wrong. I support “no mandates” but the fact that congress is taking their time to pass a relatively symbolic bill irritates me. The courts are doing well blocking all of the mandates and I have not heard any rumbling about the administration appealing. Why is the legislative branch spending time on this when they know it is a dead end? Pelosi will never bring it to the floor and as Psaki said, Joe will veto it. It seems like this was a vote to use in their campaign literature and was just about posturing. Maybe they should spend that time working on a real budget.
