Who other than God himself can approve a religious exemption? We all have a 1 st amendment right to practice our own religion. The RIGHT is not granted by the government. The government is charged with PROTECTING the inalienable right.

And by the way, religious exemptions have to be renewed every year. Who’s to say they won’t move the religiosity standard goalposts of their own making??
I also didn’t apply for a religious exemption, as that puts me on a list to be discriminated against. How? They could issue a new employee card (the ones they typically give you to put on a lanyard around your neck to allow access to a building, identify you on sight as an employee, etc.). This new employee card could be a different color, signaling on sight that you are unjabbed. They could also put a large colored dot on the card signaling the same thing. (They already do this DAILY when entering a healthcare facility here in Boise by giving you a stick-on dot of a different color depending on the day of the week it is. Nuts!)
When they can reveal your jab status on sight like this, it’s almost as if administration is inviting fellow employees or patients or customers to discriminate against you without every asking a jab question (thus, no HIPAA violation). How? Patients could refuse to be treated or in the same room with you based on the color of your key card; fellow employees could refuse to work with an unjabbed person, etc.
So, if you’re religious exemption is refused, it may be a blessing in disguise, as they have ways to use this against you if they choose to do so.
I turned in my religious exemption to my company. My CEO is a lying jerk and wants to fire everyone. When asked to provide specific questions about my religion I sought legal counsel and was told a company can not ask about your religion. The process is all you have to do is write a letter describing your personally held religious beliefs. The company can not question what or why you belief it. My company tried but when I came back with “personally held religious beliefs” note, the company approved my religious exemption. If your company says no, then join in on the lawsuits. Don’t quit. Don’t take the deadly shot.

Reading yours and other stories it appears there’s been a fundamental shift in business in recent times. I get the government money part related by others prior in the thread but remain confused about terminating valuable employees who are otherwise providing solid profitable work product for what, government money? Is it that good?
If it’s about churn, replacing high-cost employees with lower cost employees, they can generally do that at any time and without all the associated rancor and brand damage. It almost seems like businesses are on a suicide mission and the principals don’t mind destroying the business as long as their golden parachute is solid.
In any event, God be with you and hope your responses work out in your favor. I continue to be impressed by workers who can perform productively in such a toxic and adversarial environment. IDK, perhaps that’s why I opened my own shop some 40 years ago. Couldn’t stomach the lies and games.

Agreed, Frankie. Seems there is only lawsuits to determine the constitutionality of the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT imposing jab mandates, not individual businesses.
What is needed is a lawsuit that goes beyond the federal government’s constitutional parameters and challenges ANYONE from threatening INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES to travel, work, provide for one’s family and engage in everyday life, have equal access to healthcare, etc. We need a class-action GOD-GIVEN LIBERTY lawsuit, not just lawsuits that address government constitutionality.

This time an extremely fit woman professional soccer player 26 years old. No cause given. At all. A pretty lass with the world in front of her.
One of our neighbors — a man in his late 60’s, recently retired, physically active, and in generally excellent health for his age — died suddenly of a massive heart attack two days after receiving the third booster.
Within a few days of taking the third booster, two other long time friends now in their late 60’s, a husband and wife, both reported symptoms indicative of the onset of a heart attack.
I have other long time friends who are still on the vaccine roller coaster. As someone who got the first two shots, but who will not be getting the third, nothing I say to these people can convince them that they should get off the roller coaster while they still can.
And, Battle, I believe the only reason they push for boosters is that the vaccines do wear off. And, I don’t mean their protection from COVID wears off. I don’t think that exists within this vaccine. Instead, what I believe occurs is that the vaccine’s efficacy in deteriorating your immune system wears off.
They need you to keep taking boosters to keep your immune system suppressed, and thus COVID, which is not that dangerous to most people, now becomes a crap game. And unfortunately, some will roll 7s and 11s rather than 2,3, or 12. Most will get the point and hope nothing happens in the future.
The boosters are not to keep you from getting covid; they allow covid to impact you more efficiently. If not, why are the vaxed the ones getting the worst cases? And the “new” variants?
I’m not a scientist. I am an engineer, though, and have sound reasoning and critical thinking skills.

Sundance pointed out several months ago that those who have been COVID vaxxed have a strong motivation to rationalize their original decision to get the jab. For myself, I tell such people that had I known in May 2021 what I know now, I would never have considered being vaccinated.
Among those who are voluntarily getting the third booster, I still hear the arguments being made that the virus had a natural origin, that the legacy anti-virals such as ivermectin and HCQ are useless, that the original versions of the vaccines do prevent transmission and infection, and that even in the off chance one does acquire a breakthrough infection, the vaccines prevent the worst symptoms from occurring.
This is what I tell those who are determined to get the third booster:
The current vaccines are leaky, meaning they allow asymptomatic transmission and infection. And they do not last. Any health benefit I got from the two shots I got six months ago in May is largely gone. Moreover, the COVID virus is mutating at a faster rate than any vaccine-based health strategy can cope with. We are in endemic territory, meaning that sooner or later, all of us will get a COVID infection at some point in the future, the vaccinated and the unvaccinated alike.
I also tell those who are determined to get the third booster that all it does is to promote a false sense of security that a COVID infection can somehow be avoided or that the worst symptoms of a breakthrough infection can somehow be significantly reduced.
I tell them that the health strategy of relying on six-month booster vaccines as our primary defense against COVID has failed. If the medical community doesn’t assert its own authority independent of the federal government’s dictatorial edicts and adopt a health strategy which focuses on early intervention with proven anti-viral therapeutics, then thousands more will die who don’t have to die.
The response I generally get from these people is that I’ve been captured by the anti-vaxxers and the science deniers and that I should stop listening to their misinformation and start listening to the CDC and the NIH.

A relative came down with Covid. I knew they were vaccinated. He was sharing his story about having COVID during a family virtual get-together (we still hold them since we have people all over- one upside to this whole thing). He was bragging about “beating” it. He had a fever of 102. Cough. Chills. Couldn’t taste or smell. He was scared. But, he said, no worries, he was up and around after about 4 days. Just a little worn out for the next 6-7 days. This relative is mid 30’s and in decent shape, not obese (whom the virus seems to hit hard- comorbidities you know).
There were about 15/16 of us on the family get-together ranging from 15-83 years old. Everyone was oooh, scary. Or, I’m glad your good. We were praying for you one of the elders said.
Me, I blurted out “Well, good thing you were vaccinated. Imagine if you weren’t you might have gotten COVID. Oh, never mind you did get it. My bad. So, who’s getting a booster?”
My wife became so mad at me…LOL (this was her side). Everyone just got really quiet. Really really quiet. No responses. My son was off-screen laughing, giving me a thumbs up. I finally had to say “Maybe you just got a bad one……..”
I still chuckle at the silence I received. A majority of her family (especially the ones located in Southern Cali and Oregon) are vax worshippers. They are always talking Fauci.
Battle, it sounds like you and I have very similar conversations with very similar people. Scary how many just blindly follow. And, I feel I can say blindly follow because the data is there, but it needs to be looked at without the direction of three-letter agencies (including MSM).

Dwayne, there is a reason for that. I live in a deep blue state and most of my friends and relatives are committed Democrats. They know what my opinions are, but I still have to be very careful what I say and how I say it. They are good people, for the most part, but they cannot break out of their partisan bubbles.
In addition, I am an engineer in a field which has a number of people working in it who are used to taking strong direction from above without doing too much questioning about what it is they are being told to do.
I myself have had an adverse health incident, which upon thinking more about it, can probably be attributed to the Pfizer vaccine. I got the second shot in late May, and in late June at my regular eye examination, a spot of blood was observed on the surface of one of my retinas. One of the small vessels feeding the retina had ruptured.
Nothing like this had ever happened to me before. I now strongly suspect the spot of blood appeared because of damage the vaccine had done to the fine capillaries that feed the surface of my retina.
We live in similar states and have similar families. I too am an Engineer. I, fortunately, come from an engineering field, starting in the Navy, that requires you to have a questioning attitude- nuclear. I was taught to always question to ensure the proper actions and decisions are being made.

But, I do know two young people who ‘died suddenly’ this year and I know at least one of those for sure had been vaxxed. I know of several other people who are suffering from vaccine side effects. I think the unjabbed are reaching herd immunity, given their fewer numbers in hospitals as time goes by when compared to the jabbed population.
When I was two weeks between jobs this September and October (I wouldn’t take the mandated jab from my employer), I intentionally sought out getting Covid. I’m 52 and blessed with excellent health, so I rolled the dice that my case would be mild–and it was. Took ivermectin the first two days I had the sniffles and back ache, but rolled out the full ivermectin protocol on the third day when smell and taste changed. Within 24 hours of one full ivermectin dose (I had three more to go), smell/taste returned and sniffles gone. Twelve hours later, back ache went away. No other symptoms presented themselves after these.
I wanted natural antibodies as God intended, and if ever TPTB acknowledge natural immunity, I’m set. Not holding my breath that this day will happen soon, though….

It does feel like we have been chosen to see. So many ignore the cues, the keys, the indications, the evidence that is right in front of their face.
These Judges should not even have to be making these decisions. But I am glad at least my right to make all of my own health decisions is being respected by our courts. I don’t know about anyone else, but all of my health decisions are based on what course of action allows me to have the quality of life that I want in my future. This never includes anyone but me and the few remaining doctors I can trust.

Here in Boise, both hospital systems mandated covid injections: one followed through on its “jab or job” mandate, the other suspended it’s jab date, promising to reimpose one at an unknown date in the future.
If this does not stop HOSPITALS or PRIVATE employers from implementing their own internal jab mandates, then there is still a long way to go to protect ALL American workers from forced jabs.

Private entities can still apparently enact whatever work rules regarding this issue they deem necessary and defensible. There’s also the federal contractor order and that has far-reaching effects.
So, imagine there’s no government mandate/law/rule and a hospital decides no jab, no job. They’ll likely get sued but heck lawsuits are like grains of sand on the beach these days. Still, poof, job gone.

While I’m glad this verdict has been reached, it’s not going to make any difference unless the head of a company doesn’t want the jab.
States and independent companies are still requiring it on their own and firing people who don’t comply. Under Title VII of Civil Rights act, they don’t even have to provide for medical or religious exemptions if they say it would cause an “undue burden.”
It’s crap. It has to be fixed legislatively in the states.
