Some of the most important mid-term voting is not going to take place in November, but rather in the early year 2022 primaries. Check your voter registration and state party construct for open, closed or blended primary rules based on your state party organization. Make sure you have a voice in selecting the candidate during the primaries.
As noted in an article on campaign contributions [HERE], the Ten House DeceptiCons who voted to impeach President Trump are out-fundraising their grassroots challengers. Of course they are. The corrupt DC system is designed to protect their own.
The establishment GOP are not getting involved. The RNC is not financially supporting any primary opponents. However, the club does not control the voting support, ‘We The People’ do.
That leaves it up to us. We need to financially support the challengers, and then turn out in massive numbers to defeat these creeps in the primary. These are the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump. This is who we need to defeat and send a message:

If you’ve been in the battle for a while, you know what to do:
Select a candidate or candidates that you want to support. Then send them money, no amount is too small.
Second, it’s okay if you cannot send them money. Share this link with your friends, family, community and tribe. Distributing the message is just as valuable, if not more, than sending a direct donation.
Post links to the primary challenger you support on Facebook, Twitter and all your social media platforms. Help get out the word. Make a weekly reminder to keep doing this, and spread your message out on different days and different times so you catch the maximum visibility.
If you live in the area, donate your time to help the candidate. If you do not live in the area, you may still volunteer your time to do phone calls, emails and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts. Take action.
Be very visible with your support (yard signs etc). If the candidate doesn’t have the resources for signs, stickers etc, MAKE YOUR OWN.
Even if the candidate does have signs etc, remember you can save them campaign expenses if you make your own. Think big and act. Some of the most successful challenges have nothing to do with money, and everything to do with organization and determination.
Remember also, YOU MATTER. No amount of effort is too small. If you are new to the grassroot effort, think like an insurgent. Simple post-it notes left around (gas pumps, restaurants, etc) supporting your candidate are a simple and effective way to send a message. Keep imprinting the name. Simple post-it notes can have a big impact with name imprint: Ex. “Support Catalina Lauf“, written with a sharpie on a post-it note. That’s it. That’s all it needs to say. It puts the message out.
Keep all messages positive. We are all in the same foxhole. Put your support behind those who are standing up. Do not sit silent while our candidates stand in front of the fury of entrenched opposition. Stand with them. STAND.
If you are in the area of one of these challenges, network with the community and volunteer for anything you are able. No effort is too small, even making coffee or helping run errands can be a big assist. Key point…. keep making the offer even if there is nothing currently available that fits your schedule or ability.
When you turn your thoughts into action, you will be amazed at how positive your frame-of-mind becomes. Taking action is empowering.

No sooner had he become state representative that in less than two years he began to run for U.S. senator. He ran against Sherrod Brown, but he was seen by many as being overly ambitious and in a hurry; so he lost. I believe that his political ambitions overrode his judgment, which should have been that of proving himself worthy as a state representative over time. Sure, he supports Trump, so he says, but so do the other candidates, such as Merino, Putika, Gibbons and Timken.

Ballotpedia.org may be a good source for candidate info; Bouchard and Gray are WY legislators, whereas Smith holds no public office but is a lawyer. My initial inclination is to support Bouchard as he touts his rogue nature and his vocation is a Mike Rowe type of business, i.e., the septic tank business, that’s pretty blue collar and potentially one of the “dirty jobs” Rowe mentions. Pay attention to their backgrounds, what they do and say; like Sundance says, “…if you wait(and pay attention), it(who they are)surfaces.”
As a Wyomingite, Im not too impressed with any of them. Bouchard and Gray both have good voting records, but Bouchard is in self destruct mode, Grey is a little too full of himself, and Smith is the unknown, although he says hes pro life and supports Christian principals. Hopefully Ill get to meet them soon, and see how they respond to questions.
Meeting them and watching them work the room is key, so is paying attention to their staff and handlers. Staff can make or break them.
I try to go to as many events as possible, especially when they first start out. Less people tend to be there so you can have more time w/them, once they get popular forget the close access. One event I went to there were not many people so the candidate asked to have tables put together and we all sat and had a round table discussion instead of him being in the front of the room, standing and talking. It was really good, very personal and intimate, he took notes and asked questions of us.
I always ask for their phone number too. It is interesting how they respond and if they are willing to do it or not.

Wyoming State Representative Anthony Bouchard was not invited to the meeting recently held at Bedminster with DJT. Bouchard says that meeting was to convince his rivals to drop out.
President Trump only has the authority to hire PERSONAL staff such as his press secretary. ALL political appointees are hired by the Senate.
During Trumps first term the Senate refused to even give an initial job interview to some people Trump wanted them to hire.
Don’t know about any dropping out but last poll I saw (sorry, no link) had Cheney losing big in two person race, losing narrowly in a three person race, and winning narrowly in a four person race. Hopefully Trump can have some influence to encourage republicans to narrow down to one before the primary. Don’t know if any of the three republicans are democrats in republican clothing . For anyone who’s never made calls for a campaign, please, please, please consider doing it. Better yet, don’t consider it, just do it! It’s easy and convenient (and so what if it wasn’t?). You do it from home. There’s a template to follow on your computer. These calls are vital as they inform the campaign about a lot of things which helps them further strategize and figure out voters to target and how best to do so.
Whenever I’ve urged people to do this (not on this site, but in my personal life), I’ve often been told they don’t feel comfortable making calls, to which I’ve said and will even more loudly would say now: “So what if you’re not comfortable? It’s not as if everything is at stake! No one’s asking you to go to war. You can sit at your computer and click through a script. If we can’t do that, well, then that speaks volumes.”

I believe the fees are “processing fees”, just like any merchant has to pay, when you use a debit/credit card.

You are neglecting the compliance costs. For a local election you can get away with having a volunteer treasurer manage state election law reporting, but for big campaigns you pretty much have to pay a service to manage the data required for FEC reporting. Going through a PAC like WinRed gets that complaince off of the campaign. Also, you donors are important so you have to keep track of them for follow-up, and that costs money.

Methinks there is a rapidly closing window of opportunity to found a party on the single issue of suffrage – a platform that vows to take a “middle-ground” reasonable approach, combining: grassroots universal registering of as many voters as possible (to placate the left who whine about laws discriminating against minorities and the working class), a national holiday for Election Day with full pay mandated and severe penalties for employer violations, legal provisions for elections on one day and in person, strict voter ID laws to protect the minority and working classes in America against non-Americans unjustly subverting their will, paper ballots and hand counting, process guarantees against “splitter strategy” bullshit ever occurring, etc.

Judging by their websites, Smith has the best one – BY FAR. The other two websites (in WY) are terrible. Home page has no picture of the candidate, just a long, boring statement that NO ONE is going to read. There are no options to click on. The worst websites I think I’ve ever seen.
Smith’s has a very nice picture of him with lots of tabs to explore his views. Very well done.

One of the important messages above is, if you wish to send money, send it DIRECTLY to the candidate of your choice. I STILL get emails from the Republican Party, using Trump’s name, to try to get contributions, which, particularly after Trump told them to stop using his name, is spectacularly deceptive. Make sure your contributions got exactly where you want them to go, and not just to the Republican Party.
Let me offer a different proposition – if the MAGA candidate loses the primary to a RINO Republican, vote for the Democrat in the election. It’s simple and eventually the message will get through to DC. If RINOS are no different than Dems, what does it matter, voting for the RINO is only reinforcing the establishment. Get the RINOs out of the party. The big money will eventually support MAGA candidates, if that’s the only candidates who will win and the people will support. The money people won’t support losers.
A Cheney or Kinzinger will take no votes away from a MAGA candidate or Trump. Those tyoe of voters would support a Dem or RINO over a MAGA candidate. Send a message to the establishment that their way is no longer supported by the people, even if it means voting for a Democrat. The political environment will chage quickly if that happenes. The leverage will rotate to our side – biggly.
Again, there is no reason to vote for the dementoRat. If you must, simply stay home and take your vote away from the RINO.

Find out who is your local precinct committeeman captain, then become a precinct committeeman and then a state committeeman. We have an important decision to make. Many people are saying they will support whoever President Trump endorses. I love Trump too, but he doesn’t always have the best judgement concerning people. Barr and Sessions are a couple of examples. Most of us in Wyoming are supporters of Trump. We are angry with Cheney for denying Trump due process and calling people who love our country “enemies of the state”.
We have one candidate that is really like Trump. He exposes corruption in our state. He doesn’t bend to other’s wishes. He fights for Constitutional principles. He has great instincts and does his research. He looked into voter fraud long before it was popular in 2012 and found the secret to election integrity is clean voter rolls. He fought for Wyoming before he got elected by fighting for freedom in education, health freedom, and second amendment rights. Senator Bouchard doesn’t play political games. He’s not a politician. He says what he means and means what he says. He is a blue collar worker who cares deeply for his state and country. Also, like Trump, he has quietly helped multiple people when they needed it without public recognition.
Also like Trump, many people don’t like him just because they don’t. They are just like the never Trumpers. Like never Trumpers, they don’t see that Bouchard is the right man at the right time. Our country is in serious trouble. Bouchard is the only candidate I trust to do the right thing for Wyoming and the United States. Other candidates have been dishonest. Smith half heartly apologized for taking credit for the censure of Cheney when it was Carbon Co. that got that ball rolling.
