And if the internal polling said Lin Wood was sure to lose, a Trump endorsement of a losing candidate would not have helped efforts to get Cheney out and Stefanik in. I think Trump waited for as long as he could to see if Flynn and the rest could move the needle and then made the endorsement. Sad to say, wars are run by “realpolitik” and not emotions… and if Trump is to win the nomination again he is going to need the support of some GOP establishment “lukewarmers” sad to say.

DeSantis and Kemp, when they were running for governor, only had a third of the vote in the GOP primaries *until* Trump endorsed them. Then the situation switched, and they ran away with double-digit leads.
Trump’s endorsement matters among the GOP base, even if the target candidate is down a great deal. It can make or break campaigns. To say otherwise is a joke.

This is just another example of how the real Republican Party is owned by Trump and the MAGA movement. Trump is obviously making his peace with the RNC style Republicans but, effectively, they are just baggage that is attached to Trump and the MAGA movement. Let’s face it, if they don’t join with us who in the hell is going to vote for them? They can claim to be “moderates”—pretending that there’s some hidden demographic out there—but basically they’re on permanent probation because of their all too visible GOPe and never-Trump baggage.
Trump is demonstrating that he maintains his strong appeal to the MAGA movement which, alone, retains the ability to re-elect him.
I think it’s time for Trump to start having his massive rallyes. This will give him platform he can use to begin deconstructing the Biden-fraud. While there are other strong conservatives out there, this is something that Trump can do better than anybody. If he starts putting on rallyes they will come.

Trump’s is a CEO. Direct reports are responsible for operations, and your job is strategy: deal making and coordination. Loyalty to the strategy is key to keeping the enterprise moving smoothly.
Imagine a corporate takeover when Trump won the Presidency in 2016. His presidency broke down on 2017 day 1 because his staff (GOPe) had loyalties to the old culture. Trump assumed that his key underlings (Sessions) wanted change. But, the GOP were too busy becoming millionaires by spying, grafting, nepotism and doing nothing to want to change. The system failed Trump more than Trump failed us.

While the reasons you state as to why the two GA Senate seats were lost have considerable merit, there’s a lot more to the story; beginning with GA governor Kemp appointing totally corrupt Kelly Loeffler to Johnny Isakson’s unfinished term and the Governor’s continued support of her.
Regardless of any of that, it was Lin Wood who convinced many GA voters to not even go vote AT ALL in the Georgia election; and, despite your opinion that “we’re better off without those two clowns,” the truth is that the loss of those two senate seats gave the Democrats control of the Senate; which, directly led to the second shampeachment of President Trump.

Unfortunately, too many conservatives fail to understand just how unstable Lin Wood really is when he ventures outside his expertise as a libel attorney.
He did a fantastic job as Nick Sandmann’s lawyer; after which, many conservatives put him on a pedestal as if he could neither say nor do anything wrong. He then attempted to use that popularity as a stepping stone into a political career, a calling he has proven he’s not suited for.
On the very morning of the SC GOP chairman election, Wood preemptively made the absurd claim that “Drew is a cheater” and that “If he ‘wins’ today, he will be a Fake Chairman just like Biden is a Fake President!” That’s tantamount to saying McKissick committed election fraud without any apparent evidence; which, is pure unadulterated sour grapes.
If Wood was truly a MAGA supporter instead of a Lin Wood supporter, he would never have ran against a candidate so strongly endorsed by Trump to begin with.
He had overstayed his welcome with me by early December 2020. For awhile there it was as if he had a bunch of bots posting his entire Twitter feed onto CTH threads which only made him sound more like a kook.
I find it interesting that various people invoke Lin Wood’s stability or eccentric campaign in this discussion. Anyone who follows Lin Wood will be aware that the Georgia Bar is threatening to remove his membership (which effectively will cease his ability to work as a trial lawyer) unless he undertake a mental health check.
This stems from Lin Wood’s vocal support of Trump and rejection of the fraudulent election. Leftists from out of state who have never had any professional relationship or contact with Lin Wood, made complaints to the Georgia bar, who then retroactively changed their bylaws so that out of state people who had never been represented by Lin Wood could have their complaints considered.
Imagine yourself being placed in a situation where you livelihood depended on you getting a mental health check because of unfounded allegations from people you’ve never had any contact with. No this is a politically motivated attempt to take down a smart and talented Trump supporter for refusing to follow the script. A script that says the election was perfect and secure that leftists, RINO’s and eGOP all sing in harmony.
Also, some here make the false accusation Lin Wood told people not to vote in the Georgia run off election. He did not. He did not, he said if the fraud is not fixed your vote will be worthless. As many have now realized this is true, even if the two Republicans had won by 500,000 votes, the fraud would find 550,000 votes for the Democrats. Again, this is lie is another talking point of the RINO’s and eGOP to smear Lin Wood.
The truth is you will not find a more loyal, god fearing candidate than Lin Wood. Many are not aware he had a court case dismissed immediately prior to this SC Chairmans vote. Many believe it was wrongfully dismissed as the SC Republican party was clearly violating it’s own rules and therefore was in violation of the SC Constitution in relation to the manner in which political parties must remain accountable to the people. I wouldn’t be dismissing Lin Wood quite so quickly. Drew McKissick may well find that this election is nullified and that his Chairman position is null and void until a new election is held that follows the rules.

Lindsay Graham has never adequately explained why he was at McCain’s side with people later proven to be ISIS operatives. He also had his opportunity to prove his usefulness to MAGA while running the Judiciary Oversight committee between 2019 and 2020 and he did literally squat. Lindsay Graham is exactly the rot that needs to be replaced. I do however accept his presence may be temporarily required to stop the state going blue. My husband and I had a lot of admiration for Wood prior to this mess. We appreciated his lawsuit for Nick Sandmann. I just now did a search on that and I see articles that Sandmann had fired Lin Wood in January. There was such a great interview with Mark Levin on his Sunday show about the Sandmann case.
I’ve been out of the loop on Lin Wood since probably January and don’t know anything current with him except he left Georgia for SC.
News of Sandman and McConnell (I think?) getting Cosy. It looks as though the young Sandman has been “influenced” to disavow Lin.

However they way he fought that campaign was unfair (refused to give Lin Wood the list of delegates, while he took every opportunity to use that list to directly campaign), changed the rules (in all liklihood illegally) to have a virtual convention, the rules of which favoured incumbents, refused to answer questions at events, completely missed many events and yes attempted to smear Lin Wood with the mental health narratives the leftists in Georgia were using to try and disbar him. Drew McKissick, in my opinion, behaved as one would expect a cheating RINO swamp creature to behave when faced with a credible election challenger.

Miya, Trump plays the cards he is dealt. The South Carolina race is an example of a bad hand. He didn’t pick the people in the race, simply endorsed the one who would have the best chance of winning.
If S C is to be saved, it has to start at the county party level. President Trump cannot go to every county party in every republican state in the United States and help them support MAGA people to run for these state offices. This is the people’s job, and if they don’t do it, well…you get what you get.

Maybe his evidence (some of which he has spoken of) really is substantial – I mean, no one sued him – or even said a peep.
President Trump never spoke poorly against Lin Wood, Patrick Byrne, Gen Flynn, Mike Lindel, or Atty (Flyn’s atty – mental block).
Another example would be – well give a listen to recording of president of school he graduated from, stabbing him in the back in conference call with grad students. If he was truly smart, he would think his approach at handling the corruption would be be done carefully in order to achieve the goals, but instead, the emotions of it all got to him and he shows all his cards.
I tried to like Lin Wood, I really did, but he was off the deep end…..I heard him with Flynn and Powell, at a rally be for the 2020 presidential election. I had to turn him/them off, it was crazy talk.

I have said this in a couple of replies already, but I feel it can’t be repeated enough – These smears that question Lin Wood’s mental health are really shocking and those repeating or amplifying them are simply helping the leftists in their attempts to destroy Lin Wood’s reputation and eliminate the threat of him as a highly effective trial lawyer.
The mental health smears originate in complaints made to the Georgia State Bar from out of state leftists triggered by Lin Wood’s vocal loyalty to Trump and public attempts to reverse unconstitutional rule changes in Georgia that opened the door to election fraud. The Georgia Bar is a politicized body that then retroactively changed its own rules so that it could consider complaints made by people out of state, who also had no prior legal connection to the member.
Those who repeat or amplify these unfounded smears on Lin Wood are simply aiding a leftist campaign to silence and disbar a loyal and legally effective MAGA agent.
