Interesting notation from Politico regarding the move of Rod Rosenstein’s sister, Nancy Messonnier, out of the CDC executive management coordinating the COVID-19 response. Messonnier made a big splash in February 2020 when she proclaimed COVID was a looming catastrophe about to overwhelm the nation.
WASHINGTON DC – CDC respiratory disease chief Nancy Messonnier has been reassigned from her position heading the agency’s Covid-19 vaccine task force, according to three people familiar with the move.
Messonnier is being absorbed into an incident management response team headed by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky. But the situation remains fluid as CDC restructures teams under Walensky’s leadership.

As you can see, it was the early 2020 statements by Dr. Messonnier and not HHS Secretary Alex Azar that were driving the media narrative.
Considering the interests of the issue(s); and considering what lessons we learned over the past four years about the severity of opposition to the Trump administration writ large; and considering the known actions and inherent ideology already identified within the behavior of Mr. Rosenstein; weaponizing the political value of Coronavirus as an economic contagion to undermine President Trump was not easily dismissed….

If we didn’t have SS and Medicare taxes being taken out of each of his paychecks, we wouldn’t need to be on food stamps. In those two alone – never mind income tax or state taxes – the government takes more from us, personally, as a family, than it gives us monthly.

Over my 40 some work years, I also have paid in thousands of dollars to SS & Medicare. I am now retired but with zero employment income, I still would not qualify for food stamps (nor do I want to). How do you qualify? Just curious.
Because we have employment income – my husband works – and we have two children – and I’m pregnant. Oh, and our housing bills figure into it. When my mother and I were homeless, not paying rent or mortgage or utilities, even with zero income whatsoever we got $16 a month.
I could go on and on and on about the fraud, waste, and abuse in the food stamps system. Been on it basically my whole life, one way or another. Seen it all up close and personal. But the fact remains that we have two toddler boys and simply wouldn’t be able to feed them without it, so we daydream about the day we have enough income to no longer qualify and keep using the EBT card for now.

I don’t trust anyone doctor, nurse, etc. anymore. I would never tell them the truth about anything or follow their advice without lots of research and second,third, fourth opinions.

I am not a clinician but have worked in the medical service industry. Nurses and doctors are fallible humans that make human mistakes. I once had a nurse inject me with insulin when they were supposed to do a TB test. I’ve had another doctor try to bully me into a decision about a procedure. I’ve talked to a lot of doctors about clinic revenue, funny as I walk to my Toyota they walk to their luxury brand and tell me we’ll never be in the 1%. These are educated people, but they aren’t different from you. If there is anything we should all know by now it’s don’t blindly trust anyone but the Lord.
You should always be the driver of your healthcare. You didn’t get a medical degree, but that doesn’t mean you can’t research and ask questions. If you’re gut tells you something is wrong, get a second opinion. Get a third if you must. If you don’t like a doctor your hospital/health system refers you to, go see another (where you have options)! But even when you feel awful try to be respectful, not many people are going to go the extra mile for you if you are terrible to them.
The people that made these policies? Most of them were doctor by degree and bureaucrats for 3/4 of their career . They hadn’t seen patients since they interned. The doctors at the front? A lot of them are just knuckling under so as to not get singled out and crushed for apostasy. My dentist is a big skeptic of this stuff, but to stay in business, and service part of his clientele that has been brainwashed, he has to jump through all sorts of hoops and hurdles. I have seen a lot of healthcare workers around me get the “vaccine” as soon as it became available and have heard it strongly encouraged on operational conference calls by exec leadership. My employer isn’t requiring you to get it, but they want to know if you have, and where. They also want to distribute the vaccine to patients, which has been a different process for every state. Our patients are very ill people and have lots of comorbidities: obesity, hypertension, and diabetes. A lot of them easily get respiratory complications and are 65+. Does it make sense for those patients to get it? Maybe it’s a calculated risk worth it for them. For most of the staff I’m not so sure, but they had the individual freedom to make the choice (for now).
TLDR, medical profession is a human profession, mistakes are made, you are responsible for your healthcare choices, and it isn’t monolithic.

I agree, As stated in an earlier comment, I am a nurse, but, newly retired so spend more time than I should researching this stuff. I think the medical professionals rely on CDC and other medical publications. It is nice when you find some willing to question what doesn’t make sense. The docs I mentioned earlier represent that group. They are very frustrated with the NIH who has given them alot of grief about Ivermectin. Dr Paul Marik at FLCCC says the hospital now won’t let him Rx Ivermectin. I posted a list of studies on this site yet publications like MedPub publish contrarian articles, kind of like it came from MSNBC. Not to mention, docs are busy and you have to search for some of this other stuff. But, a big BUT, their radar should be going off when these recommendations don’t make sense. I was very impressed with a young group of docs in the beginning so we’re conferencing, trying to figure out what to do. one of the “stick in the mud” docs was trying them they needed to stick w the protocol, even though it was killing the patients. It was very heart warming to see them putting their heads together.

I responded no, I don’t need one. He was ticked. Elevator opened and 3 of us entered. He again went ballistic. I ignored him. I arrived at my floor and guess who shows up at that clinical space. This week I read that 60% of new ChiCom-19 patients have had at least one dose of vaccine. Last week I read that 200 million Americans had been vaccinated.
Now if there are really only 330 million US Citizens then 200/330 => 60%.
This means that the vaccines are totally worthless against ChiCom-19.

Sounds to me like this brilliant scientist was fired after a petty bureaucratic power struggle. These doctors, who’ve mostly never actually practiced medicine, are supposed to be above the fray, acting in our national interest. My guess is Mrs. Rosenstein was gunning for the CDC director job. And dammit, she was more than qualified! Mrs R was a 20+ year veteran of the CDC; a noted expert on vaccines, and she personally tanked the US stock market – hurting the US economy and helping certain US Senators make small fortunes insider trading.

Unfortunately for Mrs R, she lost out to this Dr. Rochelle Walensky, another noble scientist. After that, Dr Walensky quickly eliminated her failed rival in a classic bureaucratic power play. Dr Walensky 1. gave Mrs R’s job to someone else and 2. forced her into a humiliating demotion onto an anonymous “team” reporting to…herself.
The real question is how and why does Mrs. R’s private sacking become very public “news” in Politico? “News” that will be ignored by everyone… except Big Pharma, lobbyists, other DC interests, who will appreciate being told where the new power center is at the CDC Covid gravy train.
