I started buying regional beer some years ago instead of national brands. I was finding 30 packs of Genesee for 70% of the cost of a 24 case of Budweiser and it tasted better to me. I live in PA and sometimes camp in NY. I buy it in PA where it is usually cheaper when on sale, and collect the $1.50 can deposit in NY. It more hassle than dropping the cans in my PA house recycle bin, but I hate NY government with their can deposits and plastic bag ban, so it my little way of saying FU!

I have grown up always drinking coke. At this stage in life, I had switched to Diet Coke then Coke Zero. But because we don’t believe in spending more money than absolutely necessary, we switched several years ago to Kroger’s Colo Oh! It actually tastes better, it has less sodium. So we have switched to store brands for my kids. (my last is just out of college so not really a child anymore). My only sad thing is Fresca. There is no substitute that we have found for that exact flavor. It has no caffeine, and no calories. We had only found it in 2-liters, no cans which we preferred for Fresca. When I researched cans, the only stores near me that carry it in cans is Target, which I have been boycotting for several years. So that was my last Coke product. I try not to buy Kraft, Heinz, or Campbell’s products. It is hard, but even if they cost a little more, I have decided to spend the few cents more to get different brands. Or spend less and get the store brands when I can.

It would take months if not years of a successfully coordinated “boycott” of a company like Coke to reduce their profit margins sufficiently enough to turn heads, concern stock holders, and influence corporate policy decision making.

Almost as though they finished counting the votes and figured out how many they would need, then stuffed in just enough to win by a margin slightly large enough that it is not worth a recount. The nice thing about the voting machine is that if you needed a ballot for a hand recount, it would print out one for you. It would never be used to fix an election, ever….
It is not possible to win against a group that cheats so blatantly. If the DOJ, FBI, etc. were not corrupt at the highest levels, this cheating would not occur. As it is, cheating happens with their blessing. They are in on it, along with corporate media.

Yup… As a Wisconsinite, I know full well that our 2018 Governor’s race was stolen (I also suspect that our last two State Supreme Court races have been stolen too, but I’m not as sure about those races as I am about the Governor’s race and the 2020 Presidential race). In 2018, we saw the very same “Republican candidate has a significant lead until 3am the next morning” pattern in that election as well.
Back before that all happened in GA, people were asking what I thought would happen. I told them point blank, they (Republicans) will lose the Senate because their base is pissed off but that is their plan.
After my extensive research using every SOS’s registered voters just prior to the election and comparing voter turnout back to 2000, I clearly saw the rigging.
I sent this to everyone that mattered in President Trump’s circles and beyond, guess what… CRICKETS!
I find it more and more people are becoming less and less interested in the Senate seats and those form the members of the seats for the Representative of Congress.
I myself have no real asnwewers ( but a lot of questions ) for this and I thin most of the voting public have a lot to the same answers and the same questations.

I go to a local hardware to buy everything I can. VERY small mom and pop. Yes prices are much higher than Lowe’s, Home Depot, BUT WHO NEEDS MY BIZ? BIG box Lowe’s has an employee at the door demanding a mask. The Hodges at local hardware treat me with respect; don’t enforce masking and NEED the biz.
We have no local supermarket chain. Long gone. The Walmarts, Food Lions destroyed local mom and pop stores long ago. Same for pharmacies. Town had 3 private pharmacies locally owned. NOW, you get Walmart (surprise, surprise), CVS or Walgreens. All out of biz cause the BIG 3 were selling drugs (on purpose) lower than they were buying, UNTIL they all went out of biz….See how this works…same for hardware above….
Now we are ‘hearing’ July 4 for us in NC…so, yet another Memorial Day closed…beaches, coast have to be infuriated. NC Gov holds presser yesterday and says July 4 is next marker….then hours later Biden pronounces July 4 as ‘freedom’ day…my, my how they do think alike (or read from the same playbook?????). . Tn, SC, Ga, Fl all join NC and have been OPEN for months and yet NC REMAINS MASKED and CLOSED. Get the picture. Coop up Biden’s democrat butt, monkey see, monkey do. Thus, NC will be likely the LAST southern state to reopen….
Direct opposite here and I am in NC also. Mom and Pop stores won’t let me in without a mask. No problem with Walmart, Ingles, Harris Teeters, Target, TJ Maxx, or Ross’s. It was a small locally owned computer repair place that kicked me out and two local cafes. I hope they go broke. BTW, in NC the stores are required to put a sign on the door and to have masks at the door but there is no requirement that you have to take one or wear one….just say no thank you or totally ignore or take one and put it in your pocket. If you are kicked out that is the individual store policy not the state. State policy says you cannot ask a customer why they are not wearing a mask or force them to wear one…this is the policy of the much glorified small business…they can stuff it…get woke go broke…and I will never enter any of those places again EVER.
Governor is a complete corrupt China doll…we may never open up, but for me I never closed down. I do not have any idea what he is saying because I do not read or watch him at all.
People in SC still wear masks just like in Florida. The state lifts the mandates but individual counties and stores can still enforce one.
There is one cafe in Asheville that does not and never has required masks and her waitresses don’t wear masks either. She has been fined multiple times by city and reported by neighboring small businesses…but she goes on. I try to go once a week for breakfast to show support. Our local Freedom Group meets there every Thursday morning and it is packed..it is packed every day.
People are coming to the beach anyway (Traffic is heavy). Probably out of a desire for freedom to party, have fun, etc, after more than a year of oppression. They feel a bit of a taste of freedom despite Coop.
Yesterday, there were about 1,000 (wild guess) motorcycles in the old Kmart parking lot…..veterans following the Vietnam wall. I didn’t see anybody masked nor social distancing but I sure did see a lot of patriotic flags. It warmed my heart.

My Congressman, Rep Tim Ryan (D-OH-13) is also running for that open Ohio Senate seat.
Ryan was a staffer for much-beloved Rep Sheriff Jim Traficant, who then won the Sheriff’s seat when they sent Rep Sheriff Traficant to prison on bogus charges.
OH-13 includes the Mahoning Valley aka the Steel Valley, Y-town OH.
Jane Timken married into the Timken Steel family.
Timken Steel Roller Bearings were among the first companies to pack up their machinery and send it off to China, along with the highly-skilled Union craftsman to teach the Chinese slaves how to do their jobs.
The Steel Valley went along with Timken to China.
The Steel Valley is pure MAGA country. We even turned Mahoning County red in 2020.
