The DC leftists have installed national guard troops throughout Washington DC to accompany the fencing and barbed-wire that now blocks access to Capitol Hill. The intent of the effort has been to create and promote a political narrative that “extremists” are targeting the Biden administration. However, the claims bear no factual evidence.
The justification for the continued deployment of the troops surround the originating fraudulent presentation of the “storming of the Capitol” that took place January 6th. National Guard higher officer ranks tend to be ex-military and are often very tight with politicians, aka democrats.
What is it for National Guard duty? Two weeks per year and one weekend per month? Ranking officers get good pay and a retirement plan.
Because most of the Generals today are leftist politicians who don’t give a shit about the welfare of their men. Most of the good, conservative senior officers and flag officers have, unfortunately, already been purged from the Armed Forces.

A local group was collecting food supplies to send to DC as care packages for the NG. I got a tad snarky over it. Now maybe it is not such a bad idea. Quite frankly the whole thing pisses me off on so many levels.

You know I have supported our military and police all my life. I am now in late middle age and have always believed that U.S. military meant something. I thought it meant that when one retired from the military and possibly joined a police force, the FBI or CIA, or maybe even DOJ, that the patriotism learned in the military, or even battle, would instill in these individuals a dedication to our nation and its people. How else could one honorably serve unless they felt they were performing moral and justified duties? Well, my mind has been altered over the last few years when I see the criminality of the FBI, CIA and DOJ. While I was praying for the police officers subjected to the ersatz rioting over the summer, I started to notice that the police were disinclined to behave honorably. Andy Ngo and many others beaten right in front of on-duty officers while rioters were virtually unobstructed destroying lives and property of innocent citizens.
I now consider our federal law enforcement a more threatening enemy than jihadists, and have about the same respect for them. Less even as they alloy their violence with betrayal of their country and kin. I wonder why we have police who are willing to join with street thugs to overturn our liberty and our rights. Hard to know who to trust. I can not fathom what these people think is going to happen when the actual law abiding citizens of this nation, the patriots, abandon them. They so richly deserve it, let them be left to the mercies of the vicious reds they serve.

After reading Sundance’s article, I did some checking and the whole National Guard thing has gone dark, at least in the last month. With the supposed QAnon threat tomorrow one would think the MSM would be spinning up the heroes in DC guarding the sanctity of government but by my perusal whatever is gleaned is from independent, often unverifiable, sources.
Another biggie, today’s Senate debate to pass the gigantic relief package, barely makes news either, I noted coverage by the propaganda mouthpieces died off even as the House passed the legislation, it’s like they’re making it, the Covid-19 op and their insurrection counterintelligence op, go away. On the food thing, the military excels at getting nutrition to their rank and file and the National Guard is expert at feeding in disaster operations, both have huge logistic operations devoted to maintaining operational fitness. Heck, many of us know personally how well even the meals ready to eat, while not gourmet by any stretch, can provide solid nutrition and the military/guard has access to that whole logistics chain since it was essentially created for them.
