Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.

For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

    Now is the time to pray people of God for our country and our president.Rest assured the forces of darkness,satanists/witches/warlocks are praying for the destruction of our nation and this president.Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.Father ,we thank you that your hand is upon our president mightily,we cover him with the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ,and decree and declare Zachariah 2;5 over him and his family..Let the fire of your glory surround them and that no witchcraft,no voodoo,no hex,no vex,no curse no power,no principality and no demon in hell shall prosper against them.Father we ask that you dispatch legions of your warring angelic hosts to destroy every plot and plan of the enemy.Father let your anointing rest strongly upon him at all times and our nation is brought totally back to you.Father ,we praise you,we glorify you in the name above all names ,Jesus Christ,King of Kings,Lord of Lords and soon to return Messiah,Amen.

    Christ Died for Our Sins and…

    By Pastor Kevin Sadler

    William Sangster was a stalwart, Bible-believing minister “who helped guide Londoners through the horrors of the bombings of London in World War II. Sangster developed a disease that progressively paralyzed his body, and eventually his vocal chords. On the Easter morning just before he died, he managed to scribble a short note to his daughter. The note read: “How terrible to wake up on Easter and have no voice to shout, ‘He is Risen!’ However, it is far worse to have a voice and not want to shout, ‘He is Risen!’” 1

    (Paul Goodrich, “He Is Risen!” accessed February 25, 2017, http://www.fumcwf.org/he-is-risen/.)

    We rejoice in Christ’s resurrection and the life we have in Him. However, it is troubling to find that there are teachings out there that say that all you need to believe to be saved is that Christ died for your sins. Some say that faith in Christ’s resurrection isn’t necessary to be saved because our salvation is based solely on Christ’s payment for our sins at the Cross, and they’ll intentionally leave out the Resurrection. However, this is not Pauline. The gospel of the grace of God includes the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul stresses in his letters the importance of believing that Christ is risen from the dead. Note the following verses:

    “And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness…But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Rom. 4:22,24).

    “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Rom. 10:9).

    “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Cor. 15:3,4).

    “And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Cor. 5:15).

    “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him” (1 Thes. 4:14).

    Unbelievers must trust that Christ is risen in order to be saved, so believers need to stress Christ’s death and resurrection when they share the gospel of grace. When Paul writes about our spiritual baptism with Christ, we are not only identified with His death, but also His burial and resurrection (Rom. 6:3,4). According to Colossians 2:10, we “are complete in Him,” because we have been identified with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Col. 2:11,12) the moment we believed in His death, burial, and resurrection.

    Christ died for our sins and… He rose again the third day. Don’t leave out the resurrection! It’s crucial to our faith and salvation. We have God’s Word on it. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:17, “If Christ be not raised, your faith is vain [empty]; ye are yet in your sins.” But because “Christ is risen from the dead,” those “in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor. 15:20,22). That should cause us to want to shout for joy!

    “Jesus our Lord…was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification” (Rom. 4:24,25).

    https://www.bereanbiblesociety.org/christ-died-for-our-sins-and/

    Romans 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. …..24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

    Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

    2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

    1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

    Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
    4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

    Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
    11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
    12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

    1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

    1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept….22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

    Romans 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
    25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

    Manuel Barrueco’s 1993 album, “Sometime Ago” is, in my opinion, one of the best classical guitar recordings ever made. On it, Barrueco chooses to depart from the more customary classical guitar canon and, instead, play transcriptions of easily recognizable popular compositions. The result is, I think, musical perfection—the music, the musician, the guitar, the production quality are all simply perfect. The result is a collection of recorded performances that never grow seem to grow old. Listening to this classical guitar transcription of of Kieth Jarrett’s “Kloin Concert” is as fresh now as when I first heard it on the just bought CD.

    If you’re interested, the “Sometime Ago” CD is still available from several sources on the internet.

    THE WITNESS OF THE SPIRIT

    “The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit…” Romans viii. 16 R.V.

    We are in danger of getting the barter spirit when we come to God, we want the witness before we have done what God tells us to do. “Why does not God reveal Himself to me?” He cannot, it is not that He will not, but He cannot, because you are in the road as long as you won’t abandon absolutely to Him. Immediately you do, God witnesses to Himself, He cannot witness to you, but He witnesses instantly to His own nature in you. If you had the witness before the reality, it would end in sentimental emotion. Immediately you transact on the Redemption, and stop the impertinence of debate, God gives on the witness. As soon as you abandon reasoning and argument, God witnesses to what He has done, and we are amazed at our impertinence in having kept Him waiting. If you are in debate as to whether God can deliver from sin, either let Him do it, or tell Him He cannot. Do not quote this and that person, try Matthew xi. 28 – “Come unto Me.” COME, if you are weary and heavy laden; ASK, if you know you are evil (Luke xi. 13).

    The Spirit of God witnesses to the Redemption of Our Lord, He does not witness to anything else; He cannot witness to our reason. The simplicity that comes from our natural common-sense decisions is apt to be mistaken for the witness of the Spirit, but the Spirit witnesses only to His own nature, and to the work of Redemption, never to our reason. If we try to make Him witness to our reason, it is no wonder we are in darkness and perplexity. Fling it all overboard, trust in Him, and He will give the witness.

        Yes, but it’s not only the Catholic Church. God’s church as a whole, an example according the the New Testament, has failed across the board! Let us not forget that judgment starts at the house of God…and we are living in times that expose why this has to be! Oh, I would not want to be a priest or pastor leading the sheep astray today…

    STRANGE RED AURORAS:

    Spoiler alert: We do not know the answer to this question. Where did all the red auroras come from? For much of mid-October, Earth’s magnetic field has been very quiet. Extremely quiet. There should have been almost no auroras at all, yet around the Arctic Circle, photographers recorded scenes like this:

    Rayann Elzein of Utsjoki, Finland, took the picture on Oct. 17th. “I saw red almost every night for a whole week with similar displays on Oct. 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th,” says Elzein. “On each occasion, geomagnetic activity was very low (with K-indices no greater than 0 or 1).”

    Red auroras are rare. They form near the top of Earth’s atmosphere when particles from space strike oxygen atoms 150 km to 500 km high–much higher than normal green auroras. As Les Cowley explains, at that high altitude, very slow atomic transitions which produce red photons are easily interrupted. Even experienced observers rarely see them.

    Elzein has been chasing auroras in Finland for 10 years. He prides himself on going out in all conditions–even when geomagnetic activity is low. “I can’t recall ever seeing so much red on top of the green layer before,” he says.

    In Tromsø, Norway, aurora tour guide Markus Varik had a similar experience. “Activity was extremely low on Oct. 17th when these pink and red colors appeared. After years of guiding, I have never seen anything like it.”

    “The auroras appeared milky-white to the naked eye, but on the camera they were vivid pink,” says Varik.

    The common denominator seems to be … quiet. “The red was most apparent during the lowest geomagnetic activity–that is, when Bz was positive and the solar wind speed was slow (at or below 300 km/s),” notes Elzein. “The solar wind was also dense, with proton densities above 15 p/cm3.”

    It’s a mystery. Aurora experts with bright (red) ideas may submit their explanations here.

      I saw really an incredibly intense red and green display of the Aurora borealis in late 1990 when I was living in the southern Adirondack mountains.

      It was eminating downward from the zenith (overhead) – not looking out towards the horizon.

      I watched for a long time, did not bring a chair so I had to stand and look up overhead.

      Hard on the neck after 30-45 minutes.
      It was cold, too.

    The Holy Apostle James, the Son of Alphæus, one of the Twelve

    He was the brother of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Matthew. He was a witness of the true words and miracles of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and a witness of His Passion, Resurrection, and Ascension. After the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, it fell to the lot of the Apostle James to preach Christ’s Gospel in Eleutheropolis and then in Egypt. He spread abroad the saving news of the incarnate Word of God, rooting out idol worship, driving demons out of men, healing all manner of sickness and disease in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many pagans came to belief in Christ the Lord, churches were founded and set in order and Priests and Bishops were Ordained. He suffered in Egypt in Ostracina, being crucified.

    The Holy Apostle James, the Son of Alphæus, one of the Twelve is commemorated today, October 9th on the Patristic Calendar of the Orthodox Christian Church and October 22nd on the civil calendar.
