well, after the dust has settled, so to speak, I feel differently about last night’s debate. In retrospect, it reminded me of a good old fashioned saloon brawl in a Hollywood western with John Wayne throwing punches, cowboys hit over the head with bottles with no apparent effect…you know the drill. In fact, now that I think of it (and with all due respect to our Donald), it was a DONNYBROOK!

      Corwin:
A night of sleep definitely changed the perspective on the raucous debate. I watched 15-20 minutes of it this morning and it became clearer to me what the tag team strategy of Biden and Wallace would be. First Ari’s tweet below is accurate but he failed to mention that Wallace also interrupted P Trump early.

The Dem plan was clever but either Trump consciously or instinctively realized it when both of Trump’s debaters interrupted him. Biden’s plan was to not answer most questions (and Wallace would let him most of the time) or give a quick deceptive answer and then rattle of a long list of negative CNN/MSNBC Trump talking points.

The President would never be able to answer all the off topic negatives in 2 minutes and Wallace’s role was to also change the subject as often as possible to ensure he couldn’t. He would cut POTUS off early in mid sentence and say, ““Gentlemen, we’re now into open discussion. Go ahead Vice President” or ““Mr. President. Mr. President as the moderator we are going to talk about COVID in the next segment. Go ahead Mr. Vice President”

This was a clever but failed set up and President Trump was wise to blow the “non-debate” up. However his campaign staff that approved this 2 minute idiocy should wise up but maybe all the rules are already determined.

Agree. After sleeping on it, I have a different perspective also. PDJT HAS to interrupt, talk over and through not only his opponent but also the moderator because they will NEVER give him his rightful and respectful moment.

He got as much said as he could get into the chaos. Ari Fleischer tweeted and PT RTed that he rewatched the beginning of the debate. After both answered their first Q uninterrupted for 2 minutes, on the next round, Biden interrupted PTDJ 3x and, well, the rest is history for our great counterpuncher.

Biden got what he deserved. Tough sh*t he didn’t like it and it doesn’t matter if others don’t like it. We have a fighter. We have a brawler. He’s fighting for me!! and you!! No one else is fighting for us. We will fight for ourselves and PDJT on Nov 3rd – IN PERSON!

Without any reservation, I approve of my President and his actions in this debate and the forthcoming ones – no matter what he says.

      God bless President Trump.

EXACTLY. I made this point several times and was told I’m deceiving myself. President Trump was on enemy territory. I suspect he knew that. The only question was how it would play out. They wanted to silence him while they lied and slandered him. He could not just stand there and let them do it.

The next debate is going to be the same thing. Only this time they will have perfectly fluff “audience” questions for the creep and got cha questions for President Trump. This time President Trump will be even more prepared. They revealed their hand last night. He KNOWS. We KNOW.

You had good incite in realtime. I was somewhat blown away! It’s funny in hindsight, particularly where most of the polls said PT won!

I saw a NYT headline today (paraphrasing): the Debate Committee was changing the rules for the next debates because PT interrupts Biden too much.

Heh, heh. they never thought he’ll respond to Wallace’s crap and Biden’s lies the way he did. Ran over both of them.

I don’t blame them for changing the rules!! HAHA! Maybe next time everyone will give PT the time to speak and he will listen and them blast them

This is war. Anyone who can’t handle these debates, don’t watch. I’m rooting for the counterpuncher!

Same Same MC. After a night of mulling it over, it was clear as day. Wallace and Bite’em were slinging really old, tired discredited personal slurs. Never touched him and won’t motivate their base or split off Trump voters..

President Trump was landing body slams that exposed major flaws in the Democrat, splitting off some of his base and energizing his base. He let them know he’s indeed a fighter, and savy enough to charge an ambush

The almighty “Presidential Debate Commission” is now considering a change for the upcoming debate. They will give the moderator a microphone mute switch to cut off anyone he wants whenever he wants. Deep State just cannot relinquish control of the situation. Secret service needs to give Biden a good pat-down and electronic-wand checkout before he goes on stage next time. No notes and no wires.

    • As entertaining as an actual shouting match is for dramatic purposes, these are supposed to be debates. Both sides are supposed to be able to answer uninterrupted, so the audience of potential voters can benefit by comparing their positions, to choose between them. None of the three participants facilitated that properly on Tuesday.

A microphone “kill switch” is completely appropriate. Otherwise we’ll have to move it up a notch to either an air horn and a whip, or perhaps a referee’s whistle and a water hose. These are grown men. They have the capacity to behave if they want to.

BTW, that “almighty” commission is the one sponsoring the forum. It’s the voluntary choice of the two campaigns whether or not to participate, but if they DO choose to, they ALL ought to stick to the agreed-upon rules. “He started it” is an excuse for middle schoolers to hide behind.

Then they should set it up like a real debate, i.e. ask a question and give each of them a certain amount of time to respond — to the same question! Not ask gotcha questions, often predicated on false information, of one candidate and constantly interrupting them while they’re trying to correct the record and answer at the same time, while asking fluff questions of the other candidate and running interference for him. the moderator should not become one of the debaters, especially when it’s so clear they have picked a side.

So why is Trump and Republicans afraid of calling them racist to their faces? There are plenty of videos and writings of Biden and Democrats praising these KKK members. Democrats won’t miss such opportunity served on a platter of gold. They play rough and dirty to win. Biden called Trump a racist to his face and he didn’t take the time to put him down for good. Heck, why is he not running ads highlighting Biden’s numerous praises of KKK members. Where are the unearthed videos of Biden celebrating them. There’s no damn excuse in my opinion.

I forget the details, but her parents ran some sort of weird cult that, if I remember correctly was accused of stealing money from its members.

Not that it is particularly relevant, but she has horrible skin, but somehow, all the images of her that you ever see in news stories and videos are either retouched or “fuzzed” to make her skin look good. I don’t know how she can control that kind of thing so consistently. That alone, kind of suggests that she has some serious financial backing, such as a Soros-like figure.

    School choice
    Lower taxes
    Made in America for Jobs/trade
    Common Sense Environment
    Higher take home pay/better wages
    Law and order
    Etc

Between 66% and 70% of all respondents supported the concept of publicly funded K–12 school choice. This support was higher among black respondents in all states but North Carolina.

And as a footnote , 2 things the O’Biden Administration didn’t and couldn’t do during their 8 years , both of which he (President Trump) did in his first.

We are in the middle of sealing our basement counter tops. Well one the dogs needs to go out. After saying choice words, under my breath, I go upstairs to let the dog out.
Then the phone rings, more choice words. I look at the caller ID and it says “Ohio Democratic Party ”
Before I picked up, I thought they picked the perfect time to call.
I answered the phone calmly. They identified themselves and asked if they could on our support in November.
I asked if they wanted me /us to really support their:
    Corrupt candidate?
    Senile candidate?
Abortion loving and LEO hating candidate?
A candidate that was in office when Ohio lost 40% of our manufacturing jobs?
A candidate that hates small farmers?
A canidate that rides a train through our state wearing a face diaper?

After a moment of silence….i told him we are registered Republicans and don’t bother calling back until he could answer my questions.

I believe AG Barr has the authority to release that info, if necessary. But if the data lets the Russians know how the US can tap into their communications, I would not release it. I would arrest Comey, Brennan, and the rest of the cabal, and engineer it so they face a jury in Wyoming.
