BUT, when Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were texting about an “insurance policy” in Aug. 2016 it does not seem plausible to think they were THEN anticipating a Special Counsel being appointed in 2017 if Trump should win.
Thus, the original “insurance policy” as first mentioned Aug. 2016 between Strzok and Lisa seems much more likely to reference “Razor” — the imminent decision (at that time) to open a case on Mike Flynn. Crossfire Hurricane had already been opened Aug. 10, 2016 on three people: Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, and Paul Manafort.
Strzok and Lisa were discussing an “insurance policy” in addition to the original CH, it seems.
Thus, in Aug. 2016 it would seem that the original “insurance policy” was to have an open case on Michael Flynn… so that IF somehow Trump should win, the Srzok team would immediately have wide options in terms of investigation, surveillance, possible “National Security Letters” etc…. all while being able to maintain that the “case” had already been open since Aug. 2016 and was not opened as any political maneuver against a new Trump admin. Well (1) it’s not 2 months, but 9 months, until Mueller SC was appointed.
(2) If you mean that they could have been ruminating about trying to get a SC appointed right after Nov. 3, 2016 if Trump should somehow win, well I don’t see the plausibility at all…. but anyway that debate is mainly “academic” in the sense that no SC actually was appointed in Nov, Dec. Jan. etc. Not until after Comey was fired in May 2017.
So anyway, what’s interesting (to me) is that what Strzok DID do in months before May 2017, such as (1) launch an abusive biased unfounded not properly “predicated” investigation of Mike Flynn, and (2) act suddenly and most dishonestly to keep said investigation “open” in early Jan. 2017 when by all rights it should have been shut down and was about to be shut down by the FBI agent in charge of the case.
With the new revelations about Strzok and possible legal jeopardy over the fraudulent NSL on Flynn, it seems more likely than before that Strzok will finally face criminal penalties.

“Hoping” is not a strategy, form an action plan with your family and whoever else you care about if, like me, you don’t see it getting better any time soon. Stay on your elected representatives asses, I know they won’t do anything but I sure feel better.

Well, to clarify, we elected an outsider to investigate and drain the swamp and his strategy is to ‘hope’ the swamp drains itself.

Who among us did not know, when Meuller was appointed, that while Signal had everything, that his and the carefully selected crew’s function was to find and destroy corroborating documentary evidence of crimes committed by the coup plotters? Everybody is connected to past and present deeds of corruption-MASSIVE corruption. All one big Play to play scam on the U.S. taxpayer, using USID, government agencies, foundations, and whatever they can pull out of their corrupt bag of tricks to enrich themselves.

They had to cover, hide, and IMO appoint a Special Counsel, to get rid of and hide the evidence of the wrong doing of not just Obama…but ALL of their years of corruption. When about 200 families and their entire families work in the swamp…what do you expect? When a congressman is married to an ABC reporter and their daughter is interning with the Clinton foundation and her boyfriend is a lobbyist whose father works at the Pentagon…what do you expect?
