Just a reminder that Garland is on the DC circuit appeals court and voted in favor of Gleason and Sullivan and keeping the Flynn farce going. A purely political judge… we dodged another bullet keeping him off the scotus.

Good job Mitch… time to earn your money again.

I could with the higher court’s findings in the Flynn case if they had kept the appeal narrowed to the procedural issues of ripeness & mandamus. Instead there was a lengthy oral argument in which some of the judges asked questions and posed hypotheticals, which became a public on-the-record discussion about legal ‘possibilities’ and what ‘ought to be’ which I thought were inapprotiate in a criminal case in which the defendant was still in jeopardy of losing his liberty and faced prospect of jury trial. Clever little shows of repartee shouldn’t happen in a criminal case.

The overall message sent to the public from the appeals court, some in the DOJ, Judge Sullivan and finally this ‘amicus curie’ who postured himself as a surrogate prosecutor is that Gen Flynn is guilty man being let off the hook because of politics.

The judges, prosecutors and now this amicus curie lawyer have made a mockery of this case by deciding that they are exempt from the ethical rules lawyers and judges are bound to follow to protect the rights of the accused. By so doing they have allowed this case to become a politicized circus and have facilitated multiple delays of the only fair & just outcome at this point – a dismissal with prejudice. People complain when the guilty go free but our Constitutions protections of liberty and guarantee of a fair trial demand that outcome when the criminal justice process is corrupted by the acts of prosecutors and judges.

Now when we see Blacks and Antifa running around in flames, we have moral authority to laugh and make funny videos.

I don’t know if this is an intended or unintended consequence of the democratic party but here we are and they have to take responsibility for it.

Remember it was Obama who threw flames on the Russia fire by ejecting the Russians when there were no Russians. It was Obama Administration who opened a Civil Rights investigation on the Mike Brown case after they knew there was no Civil Rights violation.

Yes, the Left will wail and riot, etc, but in the end they can’t stop the vote if we have the boldness to see it through. Once the vote is successful, it’s game over! We won! Media Completely Ignored Thousands Of Cubans Rallying For Trump In Florida At Mother Of All Caravans (video)
    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/09/media-completely-ignored-thousands-cubans-rallying-trump-florida-mother-caravans/

Over 4,000 cars and trucks ascended on Florida’s Doral Central Park, flying Trump 2020 flags and blaring their horns while people hung out of their sunroofs and windows waving Trump flags. Their car windows were painted with slogans like “No Communism,” “Vote for Trump” and “Free Cuba.”

“There were 4,000 plus vehicles and each vehicle had somewhere between two to five people. So do that math – roughly 10,000 people came to support our president – it was just massive. Honestly, was a lot more than I ever anticipated.”Image preview

Ironically, in July, when the group Cubans for Biden held a caravan to protest the Trump administration, the media gave wall to wall coverage of the event, despite there being a mere 12 cars at the caravan in support of the presumptive Democrat nominee.

Stop waiting for a miracle drug: A Boston University doctor says a sufficient amount of vitamin D can cut the risk of catching coronavirus by 54%.

“People have been looking for the magic drug or waiting for the vaccine and not looking for something this simple,” said Dr. Michael Holick, professor of medicine, physiology and biophysics at Boston University School of Medicine.

Holick and his colleagues studied blood samples from Quest Diagnostics of more than 190,000 Americans from all 50 states and found that those who had deficient levels of vitamin D had 54% higher COVID positivity compared to those with adequate levels of vitamin D in the blood.

The risk of getting coronavirus continued to decline as vitamin D levels increased, the study, published in the Public Library of Science One peer-reviewed journal shows.

“The higher your vitamin D status, lower was your risk,” Holick said.

      ■ *Vitamin C 500 mg BID and Quercetin 250-500 mg BID (I had a bad reaction to the Quercetin although it could be something bad in the probably China-sourced powder in the capsules – see “Zantac” on that topic)
      ■ *Zinc 75-100 mg/day
      ■ Melatonin (slow release): Begin with 0.3mg and increase as tolerated to 2 mg
at night (don’t need it – I sleep fine)
      ■ *Vitamin D3 1000-4000 u/day (I take 4000 which is the widely accepted safe dose for the AVERAGE person and I am much taller than average)
      ■ Optional: Famotidine 20-40mg/day (I’ve got some, but don’t take it)

Washington Post on Kavanaugh vs Ginsburg hiring of minority applicants. Kavanaugh spanked Ginsburg. In 38 years, Ginsburg hired ONE (1) black law clerk.

“Ginsburg, on the other hand, has hired only one African American law clerk in her 25 years on the Supreme Court. This is an improvement from her 13-year tenure on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, when Ginsburg never had any black clerks. When this issue was raised during her Supreme Court confirmation hearings in 1993, Ginsburg said: “If you confirm me for this job, my attractiveness to black candidates is going to improve.” This remains a promise unfulfilled.

“Accounting the hiring of all racial minorities since 2005 — including Asian Americans, Native Americans and Latinos — only 12 percent of Ginsburg clerks were nonwhite.”

This statement has a fatal flaw. She said ‘new president’ and if Trump wins, it has to be 2024. And that just can’t be.

For just a bunch of filled holes, the Presidents Economic Filled Holes have accomplishment an amazing string of successes. Trade deals, phenomenal stats for employment/ jobs, and lowest unemployment, repatriating manufacturing jobs to the U.S., etc.

And the Presidents Foreign Policy Filled Holes have gained strategic cooperation with Central America re. controlling illegal immigration, trafficking etc, plus they just bring about historic agreements between Israel and Arab nations in the Middle East.

Not to mention the President’s DHS Filled Holes who have made significant progress in slowing illegal alien incursions at the southern border and elsewhere.

Pretty amazing success for just a bunch of “filled holes.”..

Or maybe President Trump has actually built several amazing teams but discouragement trolls on twitter (covert anti Trumpers) try to downplay that fact.

I gotta say it – but the more Housley tweets I see posted here, the less I think of the gentleman. Kind of an inverse relationship. 🙂

He just doesn’t come across to me as someone to whom to pay attention. I suppose he must be respected by some, as his tweets keep getting traction here; but… I’m just not seeing it. /yawn.

Wish that I could say that for the Jamaicans, Nigerians,
Somalians, that I work with. Maybe it’s because the majority
are female, but, to a person they HATE Trump. The older
ones that have been here a long time HATE Republicans.
The ones that came from New York City hated Rudy, and
think that the good old days were when David Dinkins was
          mayor.

Sometimes I think that closer in metro Atlanta is the Bizarro
universe. Disheartening. BUT my son has a younger friend
that is actually adores Trump. The guy is Muslin, a real go
getter. He thinks that anyone not for Trump is a “p word”.

Somebody has to complie a video of all these boat and car and on foot parades and private rallies for Trump into one beautiful video. Does everyone realize how diverse they all have been? How hugely they have been attended? How much fun, laughter and joyful smiles there are at one of these?

      It’s truly amazing to see.

Do people really think that Republicans want to strip women of the right to vote ?
How gullible and ignorant must one be to state these idiotic thoughts?

The death of Ruth Bader Ginsberg leaves a vast hole in the SCOTUS. I’m sure every right winger is salivating at the possibility of Ted Cruz or Tom Cotton coming on board to overturn Roe v Wade. Overturning Roe v Wade is often the “single issue voter” issue for the right- I’m convinced most of them would vote for the devil if it meant overturning Roe.

Here’s the kicker though: It will not stop with Roe. Griswold v Connecticut will be next, and overturning Roe will set that up beautifully. That’s what these men really want to erase: Griswold. If Griswold goes, ladies, there goes your birth control. Griswold is what allows for it, and these men who want to overturn Roe have ending birth control as their main goal. It’s never been about saving lives, just controlling women.

After Griswold, there will go the woman’s right to vote. The Republican party has already had people advocating for women to be stripped of the right to vote. It will happen if the GOP gets its way. And a bunch of other protections for women will go too.

What I’m saying is thanks a lot for bringing about the Handmaid’s Tale through your ignorance, rwnjs. “

Susan Cohen (before Blasey Ford appeared) had a private meeting with Kavanaugh. She came away saying, “I do not believe he would vote to overrule Woe v Rade.” That tells us Cohen’s stance on any nominee who would so rule.

Do we trust Murkowski? Romney? I can see Mitt playing the “senior statesman” and joining Democrats in saying, “this should wait until after the election.”

If we lose these 3, we cannot afford to lose one more vote.

Confirming a suitable nominee will not be as easy as it appears, unfortunately.

From what I see as far as conservative, pro-Trump activism in Utah, it’s been growing by leaps and bounds lately. We are getting organized; hopefully Facebook doesn’t censor our networking. I can see the groups noisily surrounding Romney’s offices and home if and when he balks at supporting the President’s nominee, at least in the more conservative (Dixie country) south where he’s more hated.

Trump should nominate “Sydney Powell” to SCOTUS as Ginsberg’s replacement & make the Liberal heads explode!

BUT, I realize that he has to appoint someone who can be “quickly approved” BEFORE the election, so if it’s a woman, I suspect it’s going to be either one of these 2 choices:

Judge Amy Coney Barrett is a devote Roman Catholic & she has been approved to a degree by the Dems.

Judge Barbara Lagoa from Florida, although Trump says he does not know her, but has heard good things about her.

My money is on Amy Barrett!
