Feel free to copy this Democratic Party Platform and share it as widely and broadly as you can in any and all of your areas of influence.

If the Biden-Harris team gets into power, America as we have long known and cherished her will cease to exist. Vote as if your life depended on it, because it does.

The corrupt Dems’ attempts to steal the election with unsolicited mail out ballots and ballot harvesting etc. leaves the GOP with no option but to nominate and confirm a new SCOTUS Justice.

When the Dems complain about the Senate the reply should be about their fraudulent attempts to steal the election and strip it of any trust in its accuracy. The election results will likely be a horrible mess and SCOTUS will have to rule on it in the end.

Biden has experience ‘in not actually accomplishing anything’
The thing about Joe Biden is he has been in Washington for nearly half a century however “he doesn’t actually accomplish anything” according to author and commentator Mark Steyn. “His experience consists of experience in not actually accomplishing anything,” Mr Steyn told Sky News host Chris Kenny. Mr Steyn discussed the Democrat’s stance on President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem being Israel’s capital. He said while Mr Biden “might have theoretically, ideologically” been in favour of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel, “would he have done anything about it? No”. “What he says today bears no relation to anything from the last 47 years”.

Woman of color for Supreme Court?

Barbara Lagoa. Cuban, Florida, passed easily (80-15) to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals a few months ago, highly intelligent & well-connected.

Represented Elian Gonzalez, unsucessfully blocking his removal to Cuba from the United States by Janet Reno.

Barbara Lagoa, a Justice on the Florida Supreme Court, would be Trump’s first nonwhite nominee to the Eleventh Circuit, and would flip the court to being evenly divided between the genders, a rare case of gender progress on the bench in the last few years.

Barbara Lagoa was born in Miami in 1967. After getting a B.A. with honors from Florida International University, Lagoa joined Columbia University Law School, graduating in 1992. After graduating, Lagoa worked in private practice in Miami, moving between the firms of Morgan Lewis & Brockius LLP, Schulte Blum McMahon Joblove & Haft, Cohen Berke Bernstein Brodie & Kondell, P.A., and Greenberg Traurig.

In 2003, Lagoa became a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida. In 2006, Gov. Jeb Bush appointed her to the Third Circuit Court of Appeal in Florida. In 2019, she was elevated by Gov. Ron DeSantis to the Florida Supreme Court.

    Overall Assessment

With extensive experience as an appellate judge and as a Supreme Court justice, Lagoa is certainly well-qualified for an appellate seat. While she may draw questions about her conservative jurisprudence, it is likely to be expected that this Administration will put out conservative candidates. As such, Lagoa would likely be confirmed fairly comfortably.

No, sighhhh. I can’t keep up. Well, I still don’t think he would vote against the Constitution if her were on SCOTUS. That is his passion/calling card/life’s work. Plus then he would be eliminated from Senate and POTUS ambitions forever. Maybe with the carrot/stick of the Senate circus put aside he could just focus on area he excels in. Certainly if he was nominated and declined everyone would know exactly how Black Hat he is.

          • Jen says:

Ted has already publicly stated he won’t accept.

Obviously (to me) he knows that he loses his ability to cash in on a SCOTUS job, unlike the highly lucrative position he holds as Senator….

        • Mama, so what is “rabid constitutionalist” about this Ted Cruz quote? I thought that We the People had the Right to Freedom of Assembly? The Right for political candidates to meet with voters (ie, rallies)? Ted Cruz aka “rabid constitutionalist” (yeah, right) said that it is the fault of candidate Donald J Trump that his rally attendees were being harassed and assaulted. It was DJT’s fault because of his tone. Ted did not defend YOUR right to Freedom of Assembly and his right to have political events with voters.

HOW EASILY WOULD TED THROW OUT YOUR RIGHTS FOR POLITICAL GAIN? I do not want him any where near the Supreme Court.

“Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said he’s “troubled” by Donald Trump’s campaign rallies and said his Republican rival is at fault for the ensuing chaos at the events.

Cruz said Trump is responsible for setting the tone of his rallies, which have been plagued by a string of violence by protesters. “The protestors are behaving abusively and wrong. But, at the end of the day in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top,” Cruz said during a Saturday appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press.

“I’m troubled by the rallies that Donald holds, where he asks all the people there to raise their hand and pledge their support to him,” Cruz added.”

Yesterday, I saw a lot of derisive comments about Puerto Rican’s…… regarding the FEMA grants….The Puerto Rican people aren’t the corrupt ones… It’s the governor and politicians.

I think growing up in Florida, as I did, you come in to contact with so many people of different ethnicities. I can tell a Somalian from a Nigerian, I can tell a Cuban from a Guatemalan,, I can tell the difference between the two types of Mexicans, those of European background and those who are mestizos, if you don’t know what I mean, you don’t know many Mexicans, I know the difference between Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Thai surnames….. all from people who came to this country and happened to live in Florida. I’m 53….they started teaching Spanish in fourth grade in public school…in northern, rural Florida.

Let’s try to include others, don’t generalize those groups you may not actually be familiar with…. some may be coming here to learn! All Americans, somehow, someway, had to come from immigrants…

I don’t believe she was a conservative just a moderate. She was the swing vote in affirming affirmative action, Roe vs Wade, McCain Feingold, ruled the 10 Commandments in Court Houses was Unconstitutional for a start. But that’s just how I look at her. She was close but no cigar! IMHO. I hope the new Justice remains steadfast to her conservative beliefs of the Constitution. To often so called “conservative Judges” go wobbly after getting on the Supreme Court and eventually become a big disappointment for conservatives. Good grief there are enough liberal Judges in our Judicial system, very few real steadfast conservative Judges!

    • rashomon says:

Lagos: Florida Int’l U. (“international” means “”international”); Columbia Law School (home of the Frankfurt School and “critical legal/race theory”) + Jeb Bush’s support certainly does not suggest she is conservative. Her Cuban heritage (in my experience) does not “automaticamente” make her conservative. This Supreme Court requires a strong advocate for the U.S. Constitution as written. Others have more proven records than she.

FISA Court Confirms The Government Lied In Every Spy Warrant Application Against Carter Page

A newly declassified ruling from a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court in June demonstrates that the government lied about its legal basis for spying on former Trump campaign official Carter Page.

The ruling states that the information produced by the FBI’s unlawful investigation into Page was illegally obtained and that it “found violations of the government’s duty of candor in all four applications.” The ruling also orders the government that “it must temporarily retain, and potentially use and disclose, the information collected, largely in the context of ongoing or anticipated litigation.

I am trusting Trumps acumen to ensure that he gets hi SCOTUS nominee.

And on another note, this is a wildly apt time for Don Jr to consider his run for office.

In case anyone is uncertain why the left wins many of the important battles that continue to attack America and slowly give them power over the lives of Americans—sundance’s tweet below explains it all.

They do not wilt when they have power and try to crush the opposition in every vicious way possible ie. Spygate, Impeachment, total control of social media and the MSM, polluting school curriculums with Marxist propaganda as well businesses and even gov’t agencies and on and on.

Despite all the Dems have done over the last 4 years, the Decepticons (and those afraid of the left’s response) will refuse to support a legal Senate decision to nominate a SCOTUS by the party they were elected to represent.

A nation can not survive if future generations are taught the nation is racist and evil. It will be destroyed from within.

Trump realizes this and is taking the first steps to right this situation.

The 1776 Commission will teach the real history of America, both good and bad. Children will learn of American heroes and events that shaped the country as the most exceptional and free nation in the world.

Of course this pisses off the communists like Susan Rice. Trump is over the target as usual.

Rice commented on the 1776 Commission saying, ” is the most communist, retro, crazy thing I’ve heard out of Donald Trump’s mouth in a while.”

    How they project.

    God Bless America!

Nice to hear. I had a history teacher in HS who taught me lessons that I pass on to my children today. This is the impact of a great teacher. He was a weird guy and a lot of kids made fun of him (frankly, to my chagrin, including myself TBH) but his lessons were honest and thought-provoking. For instance, he was the man that single-handedly taught me to question the cult of ANY great figure in history … in this case, Abraham Lincoln. We studied the actual words and actions of Lincoln, a great politician, and man, but still only really both of these; and a man hell-bent on “preserving the union” as the PRIME question of civil war and not simply the wise old grandfather character we are sold all through primary school. Even then. Keep in mind, this was not some “War between the states” southern apologist, I went to high school in a tony suburb of Cleveland, OH. The person that reveals to you the actual complexity of humanity and its relationship to power, in particular, is an important person in any man’s life.

    1. Obama nominated Garland just months before an election and insisted the Repub held Senate confirm him despite the timing.

    2. Senate Democrats (in fact ALL Democrats) used every tactic at their disposal in an effort to get Garland confirmed.

    3. What do you think would have been the outcome IF the Dems were in control of the Senate back then? Yeah, the same thing Mitch wants to do now.

    From August 7th 2020
“History Is on the Side of Republicans Filling a Supreme Court Vacancy in 2020”

“History supports Republicans filling the seat. Doing so would not be in any way inconsistent with Senate Republicans’ holding open the seat vacated by Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016. The reason is simple, and was explained by Mitch McConnell at the time. Historically, throughout American history, when their party controls the Senate, presidents get to fill Supreme Court vacancies at any time — even in a presidential election year, even in a lame-duck session after the election, even after defeat.”

Ms. Scharf is right. Acts of kindness like this–LOTS OF THEM–happen every day in this country and get absolutely no coverage whatsoever. Americans are good and patient people and they are generous to a fault. It is only when they finally have had enough of their kindness being abused and taken for granted that they decide it is time to stop being used by grifting criminals.

Dear Treepers, I just want to give you guys a little reminder. If you are new here, or you have forgotten the guidelines for commenting, please re-read them. For over a month we’ve had a lot of work to do here, a lot of new people, a lot of shenanigans from WordPress that caused extra work.

When I am checking pending comments that got hung up because they are new, or because they have a word on the blacklist, I’m judging pretty harshly, especially for people who don’t have much of a history here.

If you type all in caps I won’t even read it. If you insult or belittle another commenter it is getting trashed, and if I see you have a history of such behavior I’ll put you in moderation. If you have links with no description I’m going to trash it. A comment with many, many links, same. A long, long comment, especially if it is only one paragraph. if you curse I’m trashing it, and it should go without saying, if you make threats you’re getting trashed. If you spam us with many of the same irrelevant comments, I’ll trash them all.

When we first started this blog, and for a number of years, we were known for the civil discourse we had, which elevated conversations to actually going somewhere. To an extent, we’ve lost control of that because the blog has gotten too big.

If you comment here, you are a contributor to who and what we are. Please think about that and strive to make that contribution a worthy one, whether in debate, humor, discussions, or challenge.

    Thanks Treepers.

An addition, just from moderating after this comment. I’m not approving wild conspiracy theories without substance or merit.

“because the blog has gotten too big”…and “ay there’s the rub”, sigh. Y’know, it was kinda neat back in the day when it was just a small group of readers and posters…I’d list the ones I miss, but I might get “moderated” :o)

That being said, it was this blog that got me thru the last campaign for POTUS. From SD’s first endorsement of the Donald in the summer of 2015 thru the posting of voter registration statistics by some diligent contributors, I was able to remain somewhat optimistic of our chances as the maelstrom raged around us. I was even able to smile when my siblings in NJ spoke confidently of President Hillary – they used to wonder why I was not more despondent and I told them to “wait and see”.

I’m happy for SD, ADREM, Menagerie and the rest about the success and notoriety of their blog, but I’m somewhat wistful – I’m reminded of that band that we liked when no one else had ever heard of them and how it was different when everyone got on their wagon, so to speak. I think Yogi said it best when he talked about a certain restaurant: “no one goes there anymore, it’s too crowded”

Leo Terrell is a fighter and a great addition to the Trump side.

The Democrats can push for a Hillary/Dem packed Special Council to investigate the President for years; Impeach him based on a Dem’s politically motivated whistleblower complaint, arbitrarily alter the way voters in their state’s vote in the 2020 general election thus making fraudulent voting easier via ballot harvesting etc, and they are paragons of virtue. But President Trump is a tyrant if he legally follows his rightful duties according to the Constitution.

It’s incredible how the Democrat’s hissy fits and condemnations on political cable TV and social media can twist reality upside down and intimidate a few GOP Senators into folding. To ensure the weak fold to their demands, they threaten arson and worse.

It would appear, the big reason for the election of 2016 once again is showing up in our lives. Thank you Lord. Without equivocation the president should make a replacement pick for RBG, win lose or draw. Ask yourself “what would Hillary/democrats do?”

Look for the dummycrats to Paul Wellstone RBG’s death. The mother of all overreaches. They are going to sanctify this woman as if she were omnipotent deity sent to earth to save mankind from well, “man” kind. In reality, she was confused whether or not a boy is a boy or a girl is a girl or a baby is a baby. She can find law from some ethereal source, Marx , that allows our Constitution and Bill of Rights to happily be burnt on the alter of Marxist globalism to enrich “the right people”.

She and her ilk, dedicated swamp rats, are responsible for shredding our legacy to our children and grandchildren to leave a better life, country and future for the generations to come. This was achieved by American Exceptionalism something RBG and all leftist see as arrogant. We see it as things like the Moon Shot, but I digress.

Do yourself a “big” favor, stay away from the MSM. They will be eulogizing this woman night and day…YAK! Clean your garage again, take up yodeling, anything but listening their threats and fantastical tripe 24/7.

Do your job President Trump, make your pick and we’ll back you up sir. Anybody who has a wobbly swamp rat, put the pressure on. As far as the democrats are concerned, screw’em, we have a country to save.

Something that a democrat wouldn’t do and on a pure human level, RIP RBG and prayers to her family. As a free American, time to clean up her mess.

Hmmmm, a possible nasty Soros tactic. Rural US house seat. Usually Republican and relatively “cheap”. Soros type folks fund a Republican nominee. Then for general election, the “Republican” convieniently drops out…….

    • Mortimer says:

      Where did this happen?

      • Brant says:

Didn’t happen that I know of. Just thinking outside the box like one of them. Think of all possibilities. They only have to do it once to get a California style majority and then pass all three awful laws they want. Remember, Obama got Senate by the Republican dropping out. I recall the Rep had an issue, but was he a RINO who got the nomination by under handed reasons?

    • Do stop thinking about tomorrow says:

it did happen in reverse here in GA just last week. The Dem candidate dropped out for US Rep. To late to be replaced.

      • Brant says:

Yes, I’m in Georgia and did read about that in North Georgia. Got me thinking about things. I’m also sure 2018 was not the first time dims thought or tried ballot harvesting. I’m sure they had been practicing for 2-3 cycles. Wouldn’t be surprised if they tried/perfected first in dim primaries. Players agree to the tactic for invisible practice to perfect.

Out of shock Mitch brings the Senate back to take up Presidents Trumps nominee.

  46. Marcia says:

Retired Magistrate here: In my opinion, I think that President Trump will nominate Ted Cruz to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg. He is already in the Senate and a fairly known quantity to the other Senators. Plus in the President’s peaceful protest last night he talked a lot about adding Senator Cruz to his Supreme Court list. I also believe that Senator Cruz came out and said that he was honored to be on the list.

I also think that it is very telling that Mitch McConnell already announced that there would be a vote on whomever President Trump chooses. Other people on this post have already stated that they probably have someone already picked out and that McConnell has the votes. I agree. They have to get someone appointed quickly because of all the ballot harvesting, mail in fraud, etc. that the democrats will pull.

This reminds me of the 2000 election between Bush and Gore with the hanging chads in Florida. That went to the Supreme Court and if memory serves me we didn’t have a definitive winner until sometime in December. If we could trust Roberts to actually follow the Constitution it would not be such an emergency. However, Roberts has gone to the dark side.
