Status Update: Meet At The Old Mill, We Ride At Midnight…

A quote from Sam Adams is a good way to encapsulate the week ahead:

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms.”

“Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”  ~ Samuel Adams

First, my sincere appreciation for all of your support as we have worked through a complex process of information assembly, travel, and briefings to those who we hope will step forward.

Mid-August was always the most visible date to determine whether or not DC still retained any functional way to self-correct from the severity of corruption that so many people are now familiar with. That date has stuck with me for almost two years; and so it will remain.

Long gone are the ‘hopes’ and ‘trusts’ attached to Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein, Michael Horowitz, John Huber, Matt Whitaker, John Laush, the House of Representatives or Senate;… all futile in their efforts, perhaps purposefully so. That leaves John Durham and AG Bill Barr… and hope is not a strategy as we enter the final stretch.

If no progress is made by this Friday 5pm, CTH will first share the name of the primary Durham investigator to media previously briefed on the documents we assembled. From there, and within 24 hrs, we will make that name public and direct inquiries can begin.

Barring some unforeseen shift in approach; and based on recent Senate responses to Sally Yates during testimony; there’s going to be no help in the delivery of sunlight from anyone on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Ron Johnson and the Senate Homeland Security Committee is equally useless; and by now every American should know the Senate Intelligence Committee was an active participant; no help there.

♦ A note of warning and preparation. Familiar names that have covered the Spygate fiasco are also not necessarily allies in this fight to deliver sunlight. “Spygate” is a lucrative financial business, lots of books have been sold. Expose the real scale of the DC fraud and Spygate is peanuts; therefore, there are friendly elements who could actually defend their prior interests. It is predictably unfortunate; and no energy should be wasted.

Additionally, media voices paid by Wall Street corporations will offer little sunlight assistance.  There are too many vested financial interests; too many issues of credibility at risk, and too many long-standing reputations exposed. In many ways, directly and indirectly, as you well know, corporate media have participated in the effort to remove President Trump.

♦ Phase-2 is to deliver the briefing material we have assembled to larger audiences. The brief is complex, because the operation outlined within it was/is complex. Therefore, it actually takes two reviews to understand it:

• The first review is a timeline of when documents controlled by the Mueller special counsel were made public; the disparate public releases -and the controlled non releases- were/was a method used by the special counsel to keep people from easily connecting the dots. This was by design.  [Review takes about 45 mins]

• The second review encompasses an additional timeline from material within the publicly released documents. That second approach connects the dots and clears up the remaining confusion. Both reviews are not easy to absorb; but when that mental light bulb turns on, it can never be turned off… and, most importantly, everything reconciles; including the purposeful inaction of congress.  [About 45 minutes]

A set of 30 briefs costs roughly $900 to produce; this material is heavy.  Stunningly, and I laugh about this often, there are only about 20 pages within the documents that are needed to tell the whole story.  However, with today’s level of political skepticism, the brief has to contain every page of every document lest anyone be accused of selective editing.

Mid-week a group of good people are gathering to review and discuss the best methods to blast the information into the public consciousness. This has been planned for a long time. Delivery to public is not an easy task; the information is intellectually heavy, and the ramifications are considerable. However, on an optimistic note, despite numerous opportunities, no-one has yet been able to challenge either the material or the conclusions based almost entirely on direct evidence; and some very obvious circumstantial evidence.

♦ Dissemination – Will a video work… will a Zoom network work…. will live streaming work… will in-person public briefings work… or will it take a combination of all of those? Personally, the latter seems the most effective, but it also reaches the least.  One real issue with video is the briefing material has to be in the viewer’s hand to make sense. Regardless, I am committed to travel and share the information with as many people as possible until I run out of briefing material… which is a forward issue.

Following a logical plan, those public/group briefings will likely start about this time next week. If you have a group who would like to have a briefing, we’ll let you know how to contact and schedule.

As a result of this week’s final discussions, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, CTH will likely be very quiet as these details are worked out. Friday night, if no action has been taken by the DOJ or AG Bill Barr, I will release the name of Durham’s #1. Then on Saturday, that name will go public, and then we go quickly right into phase-2.

On one hand, I still hold hope that Durham/Barr will deliver…. on the other hand, well, the pressure to preserve the institutions might be too much. However, at a certain point; well beyond all the oft-repeated comments about “sensitivity” and “delicate balances”; the brutal truth has to come out – or be forced out.

Oddly, I have yet to find a person who believes Durham’s investigative unit has this information; it’s always the last question I ask a group or individual. Investigators who have worked on these issues for years also give the same reply. Unfortunately, and despite direct contact, that lack of knowledge appears intentional.

So that’s where things stand. If things change, I will keep you updated.

REMINDER – When I share the message “live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the COVID and leftist onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee.

Do not allow this effort to succeed.

You might ask yourself how can I, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad.

That’s the point; it ‘seems’ chaotic and mad because it has been created to appear that way. There are more of us than them; they just control the systems that allow us to connect, share messages, and recognize the scale of our assembly.

Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God – however you define him to be; and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place. It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.

If you allow yourself to be drawn into crisis and despair, you allow them to win. If your center of normal is based around this overwhelming onslaught, you will eventually concede liberty in favor of peace. Once we stop living in liberty, we no longer have peace.

It took me a while to fully understand just how damaging empty streets, soulless eyes, the lack of smiles, shuttered businesses, and the absence of joy would become. But as I travel around trying to deliver a very specific message to a very specific audience, I recognize just how much damage is being done; not just to our nation as a whole, but also to every individual within it – personally.

We must shake this mindset. We must withstand this onslaught and rally to the origin of our true national spirit. We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.

This approach is how we win the larger battle.

All around us, in every tribe and region, there are people who need you to show them the strength that you have. Strength of spirit. Strength of fellowship that you will not relent from expressing. No matter what noise is shouting from the loudspeakers, we must withstand it; we must make eye contact and remain joyful. We cannot allow despair to be the status quo.

Our nation needs more people like you, right now. Don’t wait… engage life, get optimistic, however you need to do it. Then, let that part of you shine right now… This is how we fight. Hold up that flag; give the starter smile… rally to the standard you create and spread fellowship again. God knows we need it.

Lift your spirits.  I cannot tell you how much of a difference it makes right now; not only to this internet community, but to our nation as a whole.   Choose to be optimistic. Live your best life, RIGHT NOW, there are people working furiously and with great purpose. Remember, this is the only life we have – so seize this day, and then the next, and then keep going.

We live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. We are the people of that nation, with boundless opportunities most of the world can only dream of.  Our opposition has nothing but false witness, fear and lies.  Push on them, they are weak and shallow.

We are Americans…. Those who are working against our interests thrive in an atmosphere of despair and disenfranchisement – do not give it to them.  Carry an optimistic spirit, regardless of how challenging. I cannot explain it, but that makes success more certain.

Do not fuel our opposition with the power of fear.  Be strong right now; be happy right now; demand action, you are worth it. Do not give evil elements an inch of space within your heart.   Expect and demand accountability.  Do not worry about being perceived as an a**hole about it.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

Quit listening to those who say “can’t” and “won’t”…

If some feel comfortable sitting in their socially distant box and bitching about all things that are not right, or might be not be right…. Or, if they prefer to allow themselves to be overcome with dark imaginings simply because what cannot be done is more comfortable than the effort to oversee what needs to be done…. well, that’s okay.

They can do that.

And when they are done doing that, they’ll still be in the same place.  However, you can choose to be positive and take action.

Rally your spirits to a standard of worthiness; because you are worth so much more. We are on the right side of history.  We are being guided. It is rather remarkable.

Again, thanks for your support.  Every prayer is felt, and I really believe those prayers are making a difference.  I’m seriously humbled.  Prayerfully so…  But remember, failure has never been in our national lexicon.  Life is good…. now, get to livin’ it.

Hopefully, I’ll see you soon…

as we’ve learned, we should have disseminated this info. have we considered giving packages to all local media and then proceed to call and name those in the local media who wont do their job and disseminate the story?
gonna need all 1% of the non leftist media to get this out. will need congressmen/women to get off their ass too and disseminate.

I disagree with the video idea. There are thousands (millions?) of political videos from one corner of the internet to the other. When people send me video links to support their argument, I don’t bother with them anymore. Even most of the video links on THIS site I rarely, if ever, click on them. I’ve stopped sending video links to support my arguments as well, as they are usually dismissed as “right-wing propoganda” anyway.

Even those explosive Veritas videos are treated as a joke at best, and dangerous, doctored libelous disinformation at worst. They are very easy for the left to dismiss.

I think video would only be a good (great!) idea with endorsements and appearances by well-known public figures. That would get attention and credibility, but tough to do.

Many good ideas, in what you have said. But, we need the largest audience possible. Not Just the U.S. market. Millions of people around the world are watching this election. Many of these same people have both direct and indirect impact on the outcome of this election.

If Biden wins, I am not sure that we will ever have another opportunity. Or, that by the summer of 2021, we will even be able to recognize our own country.

I’m reading through the comments and chuckling at the suggestions of this or that media outlet to work with. I’ve got bad news for some of you. There is no such thing as trusted media. They have agendas, all of them, whether it is personal enrichment, corporate profits, or advancing Government Party Interests. If you play on that turf, you’re automatically ceding to the rules of the game SET BY THEM.

It’s like going on the Sunday shows to talk about the BLM/Antifa terrorists. On that playing field, BLM/Antifa are heroes and “mostly peaceful protesters”, and you get to spend 20 minutes getting accused of racism as you try helplessly to punch your way out of the mob that descends upon you. If you play on their turf, they set the rules.

The best you can hope for is that they give you an opportunity to ask, “How do you not #$%ing know this you intentionally-ignorant, willfully-obtuse, moron?!” as you refuse to answer their questions and instead talk about the corruption until they cut off your mic and claim it is technical difficulties.

When I was doing issues presentation for candidates, problems were always presented in threes: 1) the conceptual; 2) the practical:, and most importantly…3) the PERSONAL! That’s where people start making the connection, and assign importance, and give loyalty. Sometimes, the presentation is in reverse order, depending on audience. Once attention and loyalty are given, then everything else becomes relevant.

People are living TODAY with the consequences of these things that were done IN THE LAST DECADE. They know something is wrong, but they don’t know why, how we got there, or how to fix it. So any approach we make should include these three elements, in whatever order is needed to reach our audience, along with the understanding that there is no magic wand, no quick fix, but that if a citizen and his/her govt reps do nothing NOW, the deterioration will continue… Rapidly. So they must OWN IT.

I leave it to the astute patriots here determine the best way.

A beautiful depiction of an agonizing experience!
It is truly amazing to realize how effective it is when the Left manages to ‘feign ignorance’ of obvious, incontrovertible facts or circumstances: all discussion stops, all engagement ends, and what’s more, all reckoning of their perverse belief system is averted, and in a somewhat permanent fashion.

I thought it was brilliant of William Barr to mention during his interview with Mark Levin, that: (paraphrasing) ‘when he (Barr) first began hearing the word narrative used in a political context, he knew that the struggle to determine objective truth would be lost because the goal was shifting from a search for truth to a search for narrative.’

      How true that is!

Its a time of, ‘separate the wheat from the chaff’.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of god; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruptible, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The wheat and the chaff have been mingling, time for separation. Evil and good cannot coexist!

It has been my experience that people cannot make other people think a certain way or accept truth if those people are already convinced in their minds of a certain premise and/or reality. Like TDS, like creation vs. evolution, like “I’m born this way” vs learned behavior, and no matter who/what/where/why/how- peoples’ convictions of truth will be held until God knows when.

Again, some people just can’t accept what is being demonstrably proven with empirical facts.

You all know this; It would be like telling a born again Christian that Yahweh is really Allah. It would be like telling Richard Dawkins that the earth really was created by God in 6 literal (24 hour) days. And who thinks a college-trained commie will come to accept Capitalism is really the best system to lift the most people up? Maybe… and maybe not.

Granted, people change… ergo the rising up of movements like #walkaway, #redpill, and the like. And “such were some of you…”

BUT here’s the rub IMO: IF the blast of CTH sunlight will cause many cockroaches to scurry for darkness, HOW do we take away the hiding places? Subsequently, HOW do we create a crisis of conscience that compels a non-believer to either behold the light and agree (OR not waste effort on those who reject the light to the death)?

I was a bad kid in the 6th grade. My parents had given me too much freedom. They decided to subject me to more control/ discipline in the 7th grade, in the form of an all-boys Catholic military school. The truth of the pending new reality did not sink into my understanding until my head was shaved and I got onto a different bus when school started. It was like a reeducation camp. Thankfully, I changed for the better. Years later, I thanked my parents for sending me there.

A personal cost helped me along…. is such a thing possible to people in power?

As far as widest dissemination. At some point we have to trust conservative media to make noise. My advice is to provide this information to key media outlets like the Daily Caller, Federalist (Mollie Hemmingway in particular), Breibart, PragerU, The Washington Times, NewsMax, OANN, the Blaze (Glenn Beck), Investors Business Daily, and well known bloggers as a start.

Then proceed to individuals on Foxnews that have Trump’s back all the way such as Judge Jeanine Pirro, Jesse Waters, and Steve Hilton (the Saturday crew!). Then I would look to Fox business folks who are definitely with Trump, like the great Lou Dobbs, who can bring along Greg Jarrett and Tom Fitton. Elizabeth McDonald has been interested. Then get up to Maria Bartiromo.

From there it should get out to the main Foxnews primetime group starting with Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham. Then Hannity. Talk radio is important such Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, and Mark Levin, Dennis Prager and others. Then proceed to Wall Street Journal if they can be interested ( I doubt it) in the biggest political scandal in American history despite their distain for America First!

There are key folks in the conservative media who can get this out and who are heady enough to recognize the story. I would even look to so-called outcasts like Megyn Kelly, Trish Regan and Bill O’reilly for interviews and to get things on video in YouTube in a presentable way. These individuals are looking for a break to get back in the limelight. Who knows?

  21. Justin Green says:

Okay, I posted this above. And Sundance, your efforts shouldn’t go unrewarded.

Get Dinesh D’Souza to produce a feature-length documentary of the whole thing. It would be the juiciest documentary he’s done to date, hands down.

I’d invest some serious dollars into that. It is a free market. You may as well profit from your efforts moreso than you already have. By God, you’ve earned it. I’d pay to watch the movie and buckets of popcorn, I’d buy DVD copies for my friends, AND I’D DAMNED SURE never vote for a swamp creature again after watching it.

THEN you can take your research on the road with a series of phone interviews and podcasts with every single remaining conservative voice to promote it and get the word out. I bet you could make this pay for itself, above and beyond the donations you get here. And I’d definitely invest in that venture.

Because at this point, its not about making money; its about saving our Country.

I started watching Tim Pool because I wanted to get a sense of what the leftists were saying (Know thy enemy). Later I started calling him the voice of the sane liberals (i.e. the ones who still thought the party was the one that belonged JFK) only to watch as the Left proceeded to Red Pill Mr. Pool with their wickedness and insanity.

There’s a whole bunch of people who still think they’re Democrats who probably agree with us on 90% of the principles (they want a strong, free and prosperous country) and only disagree with us on best practices (i.e. how do we best reduce poverty; government programs or individual initiatives). The Radical Left is pushing those people out because they don’t share those principles at all (the radicals WANT a permanently impoverished underclass to maintain their power) and its leaving those people politically homeless.

I’ve seen Mr. Pool go from planning to just not vote if Biden or Sanders was the nominee to now being on the cusp of voting for President Trump because he’s realizing the stakes ARE just that high. He’ll drag a whole lot of his sane liberal viewers with him as he does.

I say give him the info. The goal now is not to win points with ideological purity… the idea is to save our country and I’ll take someone I can agree with core principles on for this fight into my foxhole and wait to argue the best practices to reach those principles with him after the real enemy is dealt with.

What are the chances Durham / Barr do “KNOW” and are purposefully mum knowing that premature leaking will create more chaos and panic than they are willing to try to manage?. What if arrests are imminent and they do not want fleets of American Lear jets leaving for Switzerland?

    • irisandopals says:

      If not now when?

    • corvairfan says:

I’d say the chances of that are .000001 %. Plus, Learjets are easily traced.

Barr/Durham have had a year and a half, and there were sufficient facts even in just the public record to indict and/or arrest numerous conspirators. At the start. And tons more are public now, even to we the public that don’t have security clearances and declassification authority. If Weissman can do it, Durham could have done it by now. You’ll notice Manafort is still in prison, Cohen, and Flynn is still struggling to avoid jail, and Roger Stone required a commutation to avoid prison. And get this…..Flynn and Stone are innocent!

If Weissman can imprison innocent people, then Durham could have nailed at least ONE guilty conspirator by now. Leaking, perjury, mishandling classified info, FARA, campaign finance (HRC and PerkinsCoie Steele Dossier payments)

These were VERY easily provable….yet over and over ….prosecution declined.

There’s absolutely nothing to lose by Sundance and others exposing everything or anything they want, if it is true and factual. The Durham cavalry is so late at this point, we may as well call him Captain Benteen.

But that doesn’t mean this is over, or we’ve lost yet. There’s still a lot we can do to help Trump get re-elected. A lot.

Last evening, USAG Barr was on the Mark Levin show on the FOX channel. I don’t know if it was a live show or taped at some earlier time. Wasn’t able to devote my full attention to it.

Levin has some interesting guests and does let them talk, but the guests are mostly responding to leading questions. Barr kept his responses short.

They mentioned the “beyond a reasonable doubt” threshold that has to be met before filing criminal charges. So, it sounded like he was setting the table prior to serving up a nothing burger.

Something that caught my interest was the few minutes that they spent talking about the Grand Jury aspect of a criminal investigation. Barr made it sound like Every criminal case HAD to first go to a GJ. And Levin did not clean it up, as he sometimes does with other guests.

I didn’t think that EVERY criminal case has to go to a Grand Jury in an attempt to get a True Bill.

I have been called as a medical expert witness (in several States) in Grand Jury proceedings involving criminal cases of abuse or neglect or exploitation of incapacitated or vulnerable persons,
However, I am aware that most of the cases which I have worked on were charged without going first to a GJ.

I am aware that, many times, a case may have political ramifications and the prosecutor or the State AG (who has to sign off on charging documents) will prefer to use the GJ route. It’s as if they’re saying, ‘we presented the evidence and the GJ voted to go forward’.

It’s hard to believe that politics would have anything to do with criminal matters such as abuse or neglect or exploitation of vulnerable persons, BUT IT DOES.

    • California Joe says:

Good observations, Travelswithbridgette! You’re right that a grand jury is NOT required for federal criminal charges although it typically is done that way. There is another method to charge federal crimes. A federal agent swears to an affidavit which lays out in detail the crime and the evidence showing the guilty person(s) before a federal magistrate. The affidavit is always prepared by a federal prosecutor who is intimately involved in the case. The magistrate then issues an arrest warrant. The subjects are arrested and brought before a magistrate who then gives the government ten days to present the case to a grand jury OR to present the evidence before a magistrate in a probable cause hearing. Typically, the government would go the grand jury route but not always. I have seen the probable cause hearing used many times because the government has to have a detention hearing anyway and it’s virtually the same as the probable cause hearing. Kill two birds with one shot!

      About Us

The Conservative Tree House – Last Refuge

“In our conservative community growing up, we were always taught that you give when people are in need – make donations to the Red Cross when there’s an earthquake, donate to charity when you can afford it, etc. Even if it’s just $50 here and there – it’s the right thing to do. Conservatives see this as the responsibility that comes with gaining from the capitalistic system; if you happen to benefit greatly from the system, it’s your duty to give back.”

After a long day I was on this site at approx 22:00HRS in the evening of 9 August 2020. While drowsily reading comments in one of the threads I came across a youtube link to a presentation produced by the qanon movement. I decided to listen to see what Q is up to these days. The vid was a little over one-hour in duration discussing President Trump’s biggest moves as president. The emphasis was on global traffic in children for the purpose of securing adrenochrome. A lot of the information seemed factual. Much of it was hideous & horrifying. The visuals were Q-type propaganda. The voice-over cast was 3 people: 2 men, 1 woman. Questions were asked by a man with a thick British accent. The questions were answered by a fast-talking American man with a rather high-pitched effeminate voice. The woman made few comments until near the end (within the last 5 minutes of the presentation) when she offered an observation along the lines of, “The evil powers in the earth have also infiltrated the relationship between God and His people by inserting the myth of Jesus into the relationship.” I did not realize what I had heard that woman say (or THOUGHT I heard her say) until awakening at 4 a.m this morning (10AUG2020).

For the past 2 hours I have combed thru thousands of comments here at CTH looking for that link. I want to make sure I heard what I thought I heard. If anyone besides me listened to that link and knows where to find it please re-post. People are so easily misled these days. Saying such a thing about the Christ of God is a lie from the pit of Hell that flies directly into the Face of God and His prophets. I would not have posted this request if it were not important. Thank You.

I doubt Hannity and Greg Jared would turn on RINOs as well. FOX promotes RINOs. That’s the team they belong to. Mitch, Romney, LG, McCain… It’s their team. We are about go nuclear on them.

  47. Sundance is correct. We already know enough to make a difference in our everyday lives and personal interactions.

We know the Obama Administration authorized illegal electronic surveillance on private United States citizens likely as far back as the Memorandum of Understanding it executed in 2012 giving unsupervised access to the NSA database to FBI subcontractors who offloaded their research to unknown third parties without informing the FISA court of either the MOU or the subcontractor access.

We know that Judge Collyer found that 85% of those searches were illegal.

We know that Carter Page was categorically (and under oath) misrepresented to be an “agent” of the Russian Federation to the FISA court in an initial and three renewal Title I FISA applications when the New York Office of the FBI, including Bill Priestap when he was there and after he was promoted, and the DOJ-NSD, including John Carlin, knew that Page was an undisclosed employee of the FBI during the entirety of the Buryakov FARA prosecution (immediately before joining the Trump campaign),who was known by the Russians to be so (because Page cost them three actual agents), and who was as unlikely a Russian counterintelligence recruit as there could have been in 2016.

We know that Title I FISA authority permitted “two hop” electronic surveillance of candidate, President-elect and President Trump and thereby virtually his entire campaign and transition team into the first year of his administration.

We know the member of the Trump campaign, transition and, briefly, Administration most likely to discover and expose the illegal electronic surveillance, Gen. Flynn, was specifically targeted by President Obama himself for malicious prosecution and thereby removal.

We know that CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post have all known this from the very beginning.

    I can go on.

Once Sundance gives us the links we need, we should engage our telephone, email and social media friends with what we know and invite them to read for themselves and determine whether this all is just a conspiracy theory.

    Cold anger requires nothing less.

  48. JackB says:

It appears from Sundance’s post that Barr/Durham is going to be a nothingburger. It makes sense, since a deeply corrupt institutional framework cannot reform from the inside.

Curious, what is the desired outcome by disclosing Mr. Secret Prosecutor name?

  49. Charles Dodgson says:

Once we have the full picture and absorb it, memes need to happen.
That’s not my bailiwick and I assume it is not Sundance’s, but I am sure some of the denizens here are good at that kind of thing.

Obviously a meme can’t tell what two 45 minute briefings can, but that’s not its point. The point of a meme in this sense is to arouse curiosity for people to investigate for themselves, which is the best method of persuasion. Socratic method.

I suspect many here don’t spend much time looking at memes, but a large percent of the population does. And if the meme appears to be hitting at republicans (say the SSCI members), more people will look into it.
