obviously suffering from advanced dementia. If it were not for who it is and the entire progressive-fascist political apparatus being on board with the charade, Biden would be a prime candidate for an elder-abuse investigation.

Democrats goals are multi-pronged and organized. I’d say they have 4-5 main goals right now.
#1 To create divide within the country any means necessary for election purposes.
#2 To keep Trump Administration busy with political harassment and frivolous lawsuits.
#3 To keep shutting down the economy with the Covid 19 sham, whilst also making it hard for ordinary citizens to survive, via hard to get unemployment and Pandemic benefits. Which is meant to hurt Trump’s and the Republican’s economic growth record.
#4 Recouping money paid out via stimulus, etc… by creating laws for not wearing masks, etc.
#5 This is the big one…. the ultimate goal. To create new multi Trillion dollar bailouts to the states and local govt’s of whom their Loyal crooked Blue states with huge budget problems would walk away with the most Looted Treasure…. (aka. big Crooked bailouts)

Trump / Republicans must not allow for Packages that bailout states and local govts’ If anything they can make the “DIRECT stimulus” to the citizens “LARGER.” The citizens can spend that money how they choose… and then the proper taxing authorities will get their money the normal way, (instead of hook and crook.) Whatever he does, he must not allow blue states to handle the payouts, they are not even capable of handling unemployment payouts fairly and in a timely fashion. (That is hurting the economy.)

I have 2 ideas for the Stimulus Covid 19 package… in fairness of those also working. Note that the first stimulus bailouts and LARGE extra continuing unemployment was not fair to anyone whom was essential, or still working, or not working and even receiving any benefit.

          #1
Republicans should hold the line on the $200 a week bonus for federal Unemployment. (on top of regular) They should then offer a Direct Federal Payment through IRS (like the first one) of $1200 stimulus per MONTH until this sham is over, or maybe even bump it up to $1600 stimulus a month, (that would roughly offset the cut in extra Federal Pandemic Unemployment weekly payout.) so the folks who are whining about not getting the extra $600 would still get almost $600 a week extra depending on the weeks in a month. (1600/4 = 400 per week + 200 for the newly offered lower Fed Unemployment benefit) The only difference is…. most other people would also benefit from the monthly stimulus which would also make them happy and feel like they are getting a fair deal, (Since the Citizens as a whole should get a fair deal, Note: we haven’t been getting a fair deal, since the govt has been throwing money around unfairly to certain people under this pandemic.)
This was largely because The Democrats first Pandemic bailout with the $2400+ a month bonus federal UE was going to some, but not really benefiting those who worked fulltime, or were just out of work and not on Pandemic Benefits because of state eligibility issues.)

#2 I actually think this is the better and simpler option until the Covid sham is over.

Republicans can offer no extra Fed Unemployment. Drop that to Zero…. instead offer that money as a Direct Stimulus payout. ( Same method as the first IRS pays it via direct deposit, or direct check in mail. ) So say $2400 a month untaxed direct stimulus for everyone (even those working) until the sham is over. What this does is…. it still pays out roughly the equivalent of the Federal Extra Unemployment…. so the people can’t whine about not getting it. Second off, it fairly pays the other people whom are either working, or not working and not receiving UE, PUA, etc. The incentive to this package would be…. The unemployed people are still getting a good payout monthly, (so they shouldn’t whine about it. ) but they are STILL getting the normal “state handled and organized unemployment” which is lower than their normal pay.

          Relating to # 2 Package
          This would achieve two goals….

          A.
First off badly run Blue states that can’t handle their Unemployment affairs will be punished at he ballot box and should be….. The citizens will vote accordingly. If they want to handle their Unemployment affairs properly, then that is a Good Thing for the Citizens.

          B.
Second, This #2 package would give Unemployed people an incentive to go back to work, or find a new job vs. sitting on UE. Because a job normally would pay better than the regular unemployment. They would also be getting that $2400 a month stimulus, since everyone would receive it until the covid sham is over.

Interesting wording by SeeBS news. They say Faux Xi said Europe shut down 95% of their economy. I am not defending Faux Xi, but he actually said they shut down 95% of the country.

He may have said the economy in other parts of the same video. Or he may have implied shutting down an economy is what is needed.

If he did, it suggests what he and SeeBS are thinking. Shutting down the economy.

And I always thought medical people would be concerned with medicine rather than an economy.

***Today’s WeBuildTheWall / Fisher Industries posts***
    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/08/01/august-1st-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1290/comment-page-1/#comment-8559748)

Note: Most of the WBTW related social media accounts are covering coronavirus, politics, or illegal alien crimes. We will probably be in a quiet period regarding private wall content until the next project(s) are near completion. However, Fisher Industries is proceeding full speed ahead on at least 95 miles of federal border wall contracts.

The praises (much of which are older news) have been provided for those who wish to give thanks for them before praying for the wall prayer requests. I may add to, trim back, or simplify from time to time as projects/events progress or come to completion. If there is any new wall news I’ll list them in the update below. Otherwise, feel free to page down or scroll past.
    – – – – –
Friday night update – 7/31/20 – (See link above.)

    – John Solomon tweet w/ article: Supreme Court hands Trump win, refuses to stop border wall construction

    – – – – –
    Saturday night update – 8/1/20

    – Tweet with short clip mentioning Trump’s recent win in the Supreme Court where the court refuses to stop border wall construction.
    – FreeRepublic post by BeauBo breaking down Monday’s border wall update.

    – Updated TusconStar article: CBP considers outsourcing border wall construction to ‘private entities’ near Tucson

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Sunland Park, NM)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall & Fisher industries project while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.

***PRAISE: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.

***Praise: 🧱 (Project 2 complete: Feb 17)… Fisher Industries was able to build 3.5 miles of wall along the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas. Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the floodplain.

***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***PRAISE: 🧱 (5/6/20)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $1.28B border wall contract to build 42 miles of wall in southern Arizona, most of which will run from Nogales to the eastern boundary of the Tohono O’odham Nation. It’s the largest border wall contract that’s ever been awarded.
(Complex terrain, which includes rugged mountains and water crossings)

***PRAISE: (6/11/20)… Foreman Mike stated that Fisher Industries now has ~95 miles of border wall contracts out of the 450. (Of the 95, only ~73 miles are accounted for in the federal awards which have been reported.)

***Praise: (7/6/20)… Fisher has partnered with Holcombe Mixers “to fast-track border wall construction.” Holcombe is providing one Holcombe HM10H and seven HM12H volumetric models which can pour 20 to 25 loads of fresh concrete each day (vs. 2 to 5 loads with a traditional drum mixer) without exceeding required temperatures.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name (& according to Your will):
    – for safety, health, and good weather for the work crews as they continue working on WBTW’s private projects… as well as Fisher’s Federal 7.6M/800 foot contract, the 400M/31 mile contract, the 1.28B/42 mile contract for border wall, and any other projects they may be working on; that Fisher would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.
    – that Fisher would be able to safely and smoothly transition(scale up w/ equipment, manpower, etc.) to be able to build 1+(to 2?) miles of wall per day.
(Tommy Fisher has previously stated that, given a large enough project, they would be able to build 1 mile of wall per day within 3 months. So this process may have started as early as mid-April or May 6th… and will possibly be ramped up by mid-August??? Just a guess…)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned. (Backstory/timeline)
***Praise: (4/15/19)… Fisher Industries has been awarded a 7.6M contract modification to build 800 linear feet of 30-foot bollard barrier while the original 400M contract is still under review by the DoD IG’s office. My guess is this will give further evidence to the IG that Fisher Industries was justified in receiving the original 400M contract. (Details)
***Praise:… Update: Looks like work has already begun on this 31 mile project, despite the ongoing audit. Photos showing well over 800 feet of wall, started appearing around the end of April. No official word yet though.

    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that both sides would be able to resolve any potential issues(erosion, construction, maintenance, etc.) and the lawsuits would be dismissed.
    (July 8)… Hearing summary…
    – for the next hearing in Judge Randy Crane’s court which was reset for an additional 30 days at the joint request of the U.S. Gov. & Fisher to the first week in September.
    – for the site inspection of Project 2 which is currently scheduled for Monday, Aug 3, unless something changes

    – for Fisher crews at Project 2 as they continue to fill/fix any issues related to erosion, reseeding of grass (hydroseed), applying rip-rap (rubble) or concrete where necessary; or applying fabric that binds the soil or rocks until the erosion control grass is established and able to hold the sand/soil in place
    – that Fisher would be able to come up with affordable, scalable, innovative solutions to greatly shorten the landscape establishment period and strengthen the long-term stability(resistance to erosion) for all types of riverbank soil which may be encountered so that the landscape can handle the stronger hurricanes/waterflows which may arrive in the future

    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier.)
    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
***Praise: (Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction/salvation(through faith in Christ Jesus) for the work crews, security personnel, legal teams, CBP, DHS, Army, National Guard and all involved in WBTW/Fisher Industries private or federal projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects

    – (May 29 – CBP notice)… for Fisher to come up with innovative solutions or improvements requested by CBP “related to the anti-climb/anti-cut features of the border wall” (Deadline: June 12)
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that the design is sound and that WBTW/Fisher Industries are capable of safely and effectively building it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW &/or Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas
(…assuming the “water wall” design is shown to work and be appropriate in the floodplain)
    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.

FreeRepublic post by BeauBo breaking down Monday’s border wall update.

Border Wall System Update: 27 Jul 2020
      http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3868850/posts

      Excerpts:
      11 Miles Completed!
      – Also, there was a new start somewhere, as four more miles entered into construction, from the pre-construction phase (I guess around Mission, Texas, where heavy equipment deliveries were recently reported).
      – It looks like ten miles per week, or more, may now be a sustained rate, rather than some exceptional blip. Last week’s ten mile record was a sudden 50% jump in the 6-7 mile per week rate that had seemed stable over the prior couple of months. Speculation is that the Fisher crews in Arizona may be contributing to the surge with their specialized equipment and processes, but other contractors may have deployed more crews.

      – New crews are adding to the effort, as new contracts are entering their construction phase. There is a tidal wave of new money going on contract this year – roughly double the total of 2017, 2018 and 2019 combined. More crews must still be in the process forming/training/equipping, for those additional new starts, that are already in the pipeline.

      Additional comments by BeauBo:
      – Boom time for Border wall construction!
      – 11 miles last week, and 10 the week before, indicate that another big plateau has been reached.
      – We started the year at about two miles per week, crept upwards gradually, and jumped to a sustained rate of about a mile per day (6-7 miles per week) in May. The last two weeks however, mark another big jump in the rate of construction.

      – My guess is that Arizona is the big leader now, in new miles per week. Arizona is also rapidly deploying Integrated Fixed Towers, which are going to provide persistent direct surveillance of the entire Arizona (including the Tohono O’odham Nation) – possibly as soon as the end of this year, but if not, then soon after. Arizona is going to experience a radical operational transformation, from the beginning of this year, to the end.
      – Lots of effective work in California and New Mexico as well, But Arizona is getting the Lion’s Share.

My guess is Fisher started their 30 mile section late April. evidence is the photos you post from an environmental group date 23 Apr 2020.

At around 1/2 mile per day, that would take them to late June to early July.
In early July, 20 miles moved from preconstruction to construction. That would have been the 20 mile fisher contract that Forman Mike mentioned.

At around the same time the 40 mile section started work. With the amount of money being offered for the 40 mile section, $1.3b, I am sure Fisher would have bought a complete new spread of equipment to work in parallel with their original equipment.

Hopefully they get a new contract, so they will have some work to continue on with from September onwards.

PS Does any one know the depth of the trench they are digging. On project one We Build the Wall. I am sure they mentioned 10′. I believe it is 2′ wide. If so that is two of their new 12cu yard cement mixer loads per 4 panel section.

          Hi Aussie,

You may be right about the ½ mile a day in April. Hard to tell though because at the time I only counted 13 CAT’s max in a photo. But if Fisher had 16 CATs in April which were each placing 5 sections of panel a day then they would have been close to a half mile per day. (See calculations.)

          Background to above estimates…
-In early July you posted the Holcombe mixer article which first mentioned the 16 CATs being used on the 42 mile project in Arizona.
-In a video interview with BorderReport (@3:15)at Project 2, Fisher first showed the Holcombe mixer they were testing. He said with the whole process (with the CAT bollard placement, pours, & release) a single CAT could place 4 to 5 sections of panel a day.
(A single CAT holds a 32 foot wide section of panels.)

          So…
          13 CATS
          – 1 concrete pour = 416 feet.
          – 4 concrete pours per day = 1,664 feet per day. ~ 0.32 miles
          – 5 concrete pours per day/night = 2,080 feet per day. ~ 0.39 miles

          16 CATS
          – 1 concrete pour = 512 feet.
          – 4 concrete pours per day = 2,048 feet per day. ~ 0.39 miles
          – 5 concrete pours per day/night = 2,560 feet per day. ~ 0.48 miles

          Note:
          – So far we have 73 mile reported/leaked by media as the Fed Gov is keeping is keeping quiet and no longer reporting contracts.
          – However from the 2 contracts in Arizona that were reported in the media, Fisher had a 31 mile project(plus an 800 foot contract modification) and a ~42 mile project.

          – As far as what I’ve heard from Foreman Mike, Fisher has 95 miles worth of contracts. I haven’t heard him mention a 20 mile contract.
          – However, 95miles(Foreman Mike mentioned) minus 73mile(contracts reported/leaked)= 22 mile unaccounted for via reporting. These could be from additional contract modifications which add miles to the current projects I mentioned above.

          – Also, Fisher may in fact have at least 105 mile(instead of 93) worth of projects if I’m reading the CBP’s Border Wall System interactive map correctly. The map doesn’t list fisher but if you click on the red line where we know Fisher’s projects are… you have a 31 mile project and a 73 mile project(originally 42) listed under construction. (I’m assuming that the line represents one contractor. I could be wrong.)

With regard to your last question, Foreman Mike has stated (@1:10) that the bollards are sunk 7 feet into the trench (for an 18 foot above ground wall). I think the trench itself may be 8 feet deep but I don’t remember.

I’m not sure that the trench depth is uniform throughout the whole length of the wall on project one as I seem to recall different figures being mentioned in different interviews or social media posts.

Also, I’d guess the 10 foot deep trench would probably be for a 30 foot (above ground) wall, though soil type would also help determine how deep the trench needs to be.

The following is an older 6/10/20 article which was updated on 7/18/20.

CBP considers outsourcing border wall construction to ‘private entities’ near Tucson
      https://tucson.com/news/local/cbp-considers-outsourcing-border-wall-construction-to-private-entities-near-tucson/article_a314ba64-7b16-5b33-a751-5c4cf88fd382.html

      Excerpts:
      – Federal officials are asking private groups if they want to build a second layer of wall along 40 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border near Tucson.
      – Customs and Border Protection officials posted a request for information on a federal procurement website May 29, saying the agency “recognizes that private entities and non-governmental organizations also have an interest in supporting the mission of border protection, by deploying private wall solutions.”
      – The request was aimed at groups that can “arrange private financing, and private acquisition of land” and “may have an interest in devising a wall structure that is consistent with government specifications,” CBP officials wrote in the request, which was first reported by KJZZ’s Fronteras Desk.

      – CBP did not say exactly where private groups might build the wall, but the request included a list of 30 “possible locations” that cover 253 miles, including 114 miles of border near Del Rio, Texas; 70 miles near El Paso; 40 miles near Tucson; 25 miles near San Diego; and 4 miles near Yuma.

      – Near Tucson, all 137 miles of wall projects are being built by firms under contract with the federal government. When construction is completed, all but a handful of miles of border near Tucson will have a 30-foot-tall steel wall, with the exception of the roughly 60 miles of border on the Tohono O’odham Nation, where CBP is not allowed to build the wall.
      – Those projects generally involve building a single layer of wall, although in a few towns like Naco a second layer is being built. The May 29 request described building a second layer of wall to “complement existing primary barriers” on 40 miles of border that ranged from “urban” to “rocky and mountainous rural areas.”
      – CBP declined to say whether the agency plans to add a secondary wall along the entire Arizona-Mexico border. The Yuma area already has two or three layers of walls and fences in some areas.

      – The May 29 request did not mention any group by name, but one group has led an aggressive campaign since late 2018 to build the wall with private funds. (WBTW)
      – The projects in New Mexico and Texas were built by Fisher Sand and Gravel, which already is building border wall in Arizona under contract with the Army Corps of Engineers.
      – Fisher Sand and Gravel was awarded a contract worth up to $400 million in December to build 31 miles of wall on the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge southwest of Tucson and $1.28 billion in May to build 42.5 miles of wall near Nogales and Sasabe.

    A smile.

A smile is a window to the soul. Whether it is wide, warm and welcoming, or tight-lipped and tentative.

Smiles are universal. As you travel the world, you do not need a Google app to interpret it’s meaning.

When all around you is in flux, dark and threatening, a smile is like a tropical isle beckoning you to it’s shore.

Walking the street, I encounter soulless eyes peering out behind cloth barriers.

I smile to them, before realizing that this simple gesture of understanding, compassion, and vital human connectivity, goes unseen.

As we silently pass, l mourn the loss of the unifying humanity of giving and receiving a smile.

We have all had similar experiences, where we have either “lightened someones load”, or had someone ” lighten our load” with a smile, a compliment, or (my personal favorite!) a joke.

And, we have all experienced or witnessed the opposite; someone (if we’re honest, sometimes even US!) being an “*sshole, having a BAD day, and “going off” on someone, often a total stranger.

When I have been the recipient of such abuse, it really doesn’t matter if or how I respond; for hours afterwords, I “chew” on the incident, over and over.

I think of comments I SHOULD have said, I hash over how unjust and unfair it was,….and truth be told, like the kid in high school who as a freshman is bullied and has his head shoved in a toilet, and as a,senior is shoving some freshmens head in a toilet, I am tempted to be snappish and short tempered with others.

          Its something of “human nature”.

          Point being, just as Sundances plan talks about briefing 10, who then brief 10, who then brief 10, to reach 1000’s;

With MOOD, and ATTITUDE, we can and do do the same thing, every day; if we are positive, upbeat, happy etc. we SPREAD IT AROUND, it is contagious.

And, if we are negative, pessimistic, depressed and down,…we spread THAT, too.

And, the way the enemy WINS, is by fomenting division, dividing us into smaller and smaller groups, eventually to individuals, distrustful of each other, fearful, hate filled bitter.

To fight the enemy, work hard to stay positive, upbeat, and to spread the positivity.

A “line” I have used often, to great effect; a customer is ‘having a bad day’ (I assume).
They bully/berate a cashier or waitress, unjustifiably for objective observers.

Confronting this person, to defend their victim doesn’t seem appropriate under the circumstances.

          They storm out, the ‘server’ is feeling abused, the spectators sympathetic,..and I say;
“Well, THEY’LL never get hemmerhoids, …….

Cause their such a PERFECT *SSHOLE!”
When I, myself am the target of such abuse, like back when I worked in a job dealing with the public, ….
Like Barney Fife, carrying a bullet in his pocket, I always carried this line, in my head.

You can’t SAY it, but you CAN think it, and SMILE at the person being unreasonable or abusive, ….like teflon it makes whatever invectives they hurl at you, slide right off!

Feel free to use it, and pass it on,..we MUST not allow the enemy to break our spirit or will, cause THATS the ONLY way they can WIN!
          😉

      • The leftists never fail in their non-stop vulgarity so that was hard to watch. But I thank you for posting it anyway.

“Will I be safe in there?” Wow. Insulting and very offensive. But mostly it is proof of how effective the MSM non-stop lies are; if one didn’t seek out different places to get news, why would one ever think that the media is lying and lying and lying?

The most notable difference this video proves between Trump supporters and virulent leftist protesters is the fact that those who support President Trump and his pro-America agenda are mature people and they act like grown-ups.

The protesters all seemed to behave like spoiled toddlers. We saw “look at me” behavior, with the bizarre clothing, hair, yelling, apparel, we saw spitting, blowing smoke in Millie’s face, poking her in the eye with the sharp end of a stick, extreme vulgarity and crassness, overly loud screaming and repetitive use of a bullhorn to prevent others from speaking (and probably damaging hearing), pouring a drink on a Trump supporter, and lying about it to his face. We saw lies repeated. This was nothing but a group of overgrown terrible twos who wanted to be bullies in order to get the way.

This is more than I had watched before; seeing this insane level of immaturity answers a lot. (It kind of looks like Nadler, Schumer, Feinstein or Pelosi.)

The fake environmentalists really love ugly landscapes.

The last three times we drove thru Palm Springs, only about 20 windmills were working. Many needed repairs as the parts, esp the blades, had broken off and became scattered junk on the desert floor.. There are about 4,000 windmills in this particular area. Those mills have always made that beautiful part of the desert very ugly. We haven’t been down that way for 5 years now and I shudder to imagine what it looks like now.

When one departs the factory, the police have to shut down the entire roadway in both directions, because the trucks can’t make the turn without using the entire 6-lane roadway. They each look to be about 70-80 feet long, and with two pilot cars per truck and three fan blades to transport, that’s quite a convoy.

As you read the following I want you to keep one thing in mind (there is 123 deaths in my state of over 5 million people) please keep this in mind.

Today the state of Victoria, Australia has been declared ‘A State of Disaster’ by the Premier. Which means after months of Stage 3 lock downs, we are now entering Stage 4 lock downs. What does Stage 4 look like?

    Curfew:

There will be a curfew from today – 8pm to 5am with exemptions for work, caregiving, medical and compassionate reasons.

    Exercise:

Maximum one hour daily within 5km of home, with one other person – no family/share house groups

    Shopping:

Only one person per household per day within 5km or closest supermarket. There is an exemption for caregiving, assisting the elderly.

    Education:

All classes return to remote learning statewide

    Childcare:

Childcare will be closed. There will be an exemption for vulnerable children and children of permitted workers.

    Restaurants/Cafes:

Takeaway and home delivery allowed subject to conditions.
Bottle shops (Alcohol) Will remain open.

    Public transport:

Restricted overnight train services – returns to pre-Night Network program.

Some Protective Services Officers deployed from Night Network to enforcement.

    Intimate Partners:

    Visits allowed within 5km.

    Weddings:

    Banned from Thursday

    Recreation:

Organised sport, recreation, golf and fishing are all banned.
    ——————————————————————————-

123 deaths. Mostly in nursing homes, yes the same as you guys is the US. This is the same Premier, against the Federal Government, still backs the China One Belt, One Road Initiative. And now we are locked down even harder after months of Stage 3 restrictions. Our state contributes to one third of the countries economy. And we’re being forced to throw it all down the drain over 123 deaths. I forgot to mention, breaking the above rules brings a fine of $1600 dollars, and $200 for not wearing a face mask.

Lots of praise for Congressman Jim Jordan’s grilling of Dr Fauci. Put me in the not particularly impressed column. When are we going to start demanding at these guys start asking real questions. “Dr. Fauci, do you have any financial ties or interests in any of the companies or entities working on therapeutics or vaccines?” Or how about, “Dr Fauci, you recently praised Governor Andrew Cuomo as somebody who’s handled this the right way. Do you think he killed 10,000 people by putting covid-19 infected patients in nursing homes against all government guidelines and common sense?”

I had a similar reaction. I want someone to ask Fauci about 1) research and 6 months of experience overwhelmingly showing that children don’t spread it, 2) other countries opening schools without restrictions or problems, 3) how the WHO says there hasn’t been a documented case of asymptomatic spread yet that is the reason masks are being mandated, 4) about all world leaders (according to the president of Ecuador) using HCQ, 5) whether Fauci has used HCQ this year and if he knows of any governors who have, 5) why the CDC changed death classification for this disease such that anyone who dies with it (even if from other causes) is counted as a COVID 19 death, 6) how roughly half of the reported cases are false positives, 7) antibody test results being counted as current infections, 8) how reported hospitalizations include people in for knee surgery who tested positive for the virus or antibodies, 9) how prior to this year, research overwhelmingly found masks useless against respiratory viruses, 10) how flattening the curve doesn’t change the area under it, and thus all the restrictions have the effect of prolonging the virus and increasing the time for vulnerable people to be exposed while not preventing a single death or infection, and 11) others that aren’t coming to me now. Basically, I want someone to nail him on the false science he is promoting and expose that he has been lying and misleading people the entire time. We didn’t take these measures in 2009 for the swine flu and didn’t count deaths from it the way we are counting deaths from this virus. Why? I’m not interested in arguing that rioters also spread the virus or other things that conform to the narrative that this virus is some particular danger we need to take extraordinary measures against. I appreciate Jordan’s effort, but it didn’t really move the ball.

Amazing vid from Rockford Ill. where they held a Back the Blue Rally today which- of course- was disrupted by unhinged Democrats. The State’s Attorney for Winnebago Cty.-Marilyn Hite Ross- opens up the session by calmly explaining 1st Amendment rights , then goes on to show large pics on a screen of all who’ve been arrested. haha. Love. It.

Tear up Portland and Seattle, but stay out of Rockford , Illl. w/ your BS.

This vid seems to be going viral tonite. I can only imagine that every sane person in Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, etc. is watching and wishing they had leadership like this instead of the creepy, sadistic losers they’ve got.

“Leadership” in those cities consider law abiding residents as Collateral Damage for their radical causes. Nothing more, nothing less. Collateral Damage.

Sadly, my elderly mother, who lives in Portland, supports the mayor of Portland and the protesters. Sometimes, you get what you deserve. There is no persuading her. Anger is her mode of political discussion. I avoid discussing politics with her to maintain harmony.

Why are young people in America so unhappy, that they are driven to engage in nihilistic rioting?

The loss of spirituality, of course; the religious try to create a better world by being better people. The atheist Left is trying to create a better world by burning down the local police station. Okayy..

Mediocre young people have been encouraged to pursue college degrees. Those lacking in intellect or character will, of course, enroll in the easiest, least challenging (and least fruitful) majors. We are now well supplied with Women’s Studies graduates. Such under-equipped people are only qualified to become government clerks. A generation or two ago, such jobs went to high school graduates. The women in pink hats who turned out to protest President Trump’s inauguration were mostly these nebbishes.

The Defund the Police types want to replace the cops with social workers or other government functionaries. Their grand project to remake America circles around to creating more government jobs for p*ssy hat pinkos.

Why else are our young people, especially our women, so unhappy? Plain women are eternally unhappy. Their horizons are narrow. They do not succeed in government, or business, and women discriminate against the homely as much as men. Creating a family has been a reliable (and patriotic) recourse for average people throughout time. Discouraging our young people from starting a family is steering them down a dead end.

Capitalism and small business is a hugely rewarding pursuit, disparaged by the ignorant Left. People striving to make a small business are inevitably energetic and optimistic. The great Corona lockdown is crushing the hopes and dreams of these people, mostly our people. Entrepreneurs never fail, they just try again. Steering people into government jobs, with their insidious system of automatic pay raises, creates automatons.

I strongly believe a rebirth of spirituality is the only pathway to save America from the Left. A confident Christianity, that rejects the foolishness that Jesus was a communist, could sweep the nation. Looming is the threat of the emergence of a strain of Islam that embraces leftism: that would be potent.

Wars, lies, and how to spot deepfakes

Ryvka Barnard is a Senior Campaigns Officer for the British charity War on Want.

She has a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies from New York University. In school, she specialized in the politics of tourism in the occupied West Bank.

Ryvka campaigns against human rights abuses associated with the military and security industry…
With a special focus on the UK-Israel arms trade.
But recently, Ryvka and her husband Masri were accused of being terrorist sympathizers.
An article in the U.S. Jewish newspaper The Algemeiner falsely accused the couple.
The article was written by a man named Oliver Taylor.
Taylor is a student at England’s University of Birmingham.
He looks like your average college student… A twenty-something with brown eyes and light stubble.
Social media profiles describe Taylor as a coffee lover and political junkie.
He writes freelance editorials and blog posts.
And his writings have been published in the Jerusalem Post and the Times of Israel.
The problem is Oliver Taylor is that he’s not a real person.
    He doesn’t exist.
Taylor’s university has no record of him.
His only online accounts were social media that were active for a few days.
Newspapers that published Taylor’s work couldn’t confirm his identity.
Calls to the U.K. phone number Taylor supplied to editors drew an automated error message.
He didn’t respond to messages left at the e-mail address he used for correspondence.

Experts in imagery used forensic analysis programs to determine that Taylor’s profile photo is a forgery…
Also known as a Deepfake. Deepfakes are the newest form of photoshopping.
They use artificial intelligence called deep learning to make images of fake events – hence the name.
As of today, no one knows who made up Oliver Taylor.
Yet his writings were filled with lies and accusations against an innocent couple.
The scary thing is, deepfakes like Taylor are dangerous because they create an untraceable identity.
In other words, investigators looking for the origin of a deepfake are looking for a needle in a haystack.
Except the needle doesn’t exist. For example, Oliver Taylor appears to have had no online presence until he started writing newspaper articles.
Editors at the Jerusalem Post and The Algemeiner claim they published his articles after he pitched them stories through email.
After the news outlets found out he wasn’t real they deleted his work.
Yet, Taylor emailed both papers protesting the removal.
So, while Taylor may not be a real person, he is still operating behind the Deepfake, and looking for his next victim.
A common form of deepfake is videos or photos of famous people with changes to the images or words coming out of their mouth.
And celebrities like Mark Zuckerberg, and even U.S. Presidents have been victims of deepfakes.
To help you from being duped, here are some ways to help you spot a deepfake.

Don’t blink: Technology researchers have discovered deepfake faces don’t blink normally.

Most pictures and videos show people with their eyes open. And computer algorithms have difficulty learning how to make fake images blink.

Bad lighting: The technology used to make a deepfake is still new. It can be pretty obvious when a video has been doctored.

And if you look closely you’ll often spot discoloration or incorrect lighting on faces.

The edges of the face are often blurry and misaligned.

In a video, the lip-syncing can be off too.

If you are watching a video zoom in on the lips to see if it matches the audio.

Real person or bot: Have you ever called your local utility company and wondered if you are talking to a real person or a robot?

Chances are you can tell the difference between a robot and a human-based on the way they speak.

Most people speak in a fragmented way.

Humans need to collect their thoughts, and tend to take longer than a split second to speak or to decide what they want to say.

Bots are programmed for what they are going to say.

You can hear the difference in a natural speaking voice compared to a preprogrammed sentence.

Currently, many methods to detect deepfakes have weaknesses.

But tech firms are working on detection systems to flag fakes whenever they appear.

So, next time you see a video or picture online that you think is unbelievable…

Take a closer look, because you may be witnessing a deepfake.

Myself & my parents received applications from the county clerk’s office, to vote by mail today.
Straight into the crosscut paper shredder they went!

I work the election in a different precinct than the one I vote in, so I will early vote in person at the County clerk’s office. Parents can vote curbside at the same time I’m voting.

I know Doug, the Republican county clerk, I’m one of his election judges. At least we’ll know our ballots are going straight into the ballot box. Not messing around with the mail.

When you mail something here, it goes to the St. Louis USPS mail distribution center & is sent back to the area. Yeah, not taking a chance with that.
