Texasooz57 – thanks for that link. I think I’m a bit on the sensitive side of this issue due to my experiences over the last 10 years. I believe people should be free to speak different languages. However, if the spirit of this endeavor is, in part, to promote diversity then I question its results. Was that a diverse work crew? In my city, i see a lot of voluntary segregation. I see language as a unifying factor. I would strongly encourage speaking English as it is a major component of American culture. When not speaking Spanish negatively affects job opportunities, especially in tax funded “markets” like social services, i don’t see that as a positive. When flags and symbols of other nations are more prevalent on personal property than our national symbols, i don’t see that as unifying. Again, i value freedom. I also value patriotism. I feel like a broken record and should stop posting about this subject.

You’re quite right to question whether that’s a “diverse” work crew, benefiting – for example – a white dude or two and not just a fully hispanic crew.

But I’ll focus on the first part of your construct: “if the spirit of this endeavor” … as if there’s some high-minded social goal behind the “endeavor”.

          There’s not

Let me reduce it to what’s really happening behind that “endeavor”:

“Diversity” simply means fewer white people

Repeat that as many times as necessary for it to sink in

My hometown. Morin, a french name if there ever was one. I suppose the four states where French was the second most spoken language, New Hampshire as one, est bien passe.
Part of that city was named Nashville, but later was locally known as French Hill. In my first twenty years living there, many, many French Canadians came to make their living as tradesmen to build and build. Not once did I ever hear anyone mention that French should be spoken on any job. Ever. Assimilation ruled.

Since I’m weather freak I knew it was coming and I suggested to my fellow vacationers that we leave a day early and that was a good call because it would have been tougher to get home.

They were there to meet Aunt Jemima and eat her delicious pancakes! So, tell me again why we are erasing her from her brand? Like she never existed! Like, she didn’t get crowds like this at ever grocery store she visited!? I hate this for her legacy. Its obvious from this picture that lots of people loved her, wanted to meet her, and wanted to eat and enjoy her cooking. So so sad.

If true, it appears that one can commit crimes and attempt to overthrow the government but not have to worry about being charged until after an election. Who knows, the other side might win and there will be no punishment at all. And, the DC follies continue,.

Six years ago, a man named Dwayne Stovall challenged John Cornyn in the primary. Stovall lost but gained an education. A few months later, he spoke at a meeting. His topic was sketchy fundraising. He showed us a network of PACs and one woman and her associates who basically collected and transferred money through that network all the while slicing off compensation for themselves at every turn. The way she stayed out of jail was that the PACs gave about 5% to the candidate’s actual campaign.

The politicians are not the only dirty ones.

Steven Pinker: I had to speak out. Cancel culture is Orwellian
    Damian Whitworth
Thursday July 09 2020, 12.01am BST, The Times

Steven Pinker, the Harvard psychology professor and bestselling author, who was one of the signatories of the letter to Harper’s protesting against a climate of intolerance, has claimed he is the target of an “Orwellian” attack on his reputation.

The professor, whose books, including The Blank Slate and The Better Angels of Our Nature, have made him one of America’s leading public intellectuals, was the focus of a letter this week from more than 500 academics calling for his fellowship to be rescinded at the Linguistics Society of America. Citing half a dozen tweets posted by Pinker in the past few years, the letter accused him of a willingness to “dismiss and downplay racist violence”.

Ohio has a truly laudatory non-profit group of CONSERVATIVE LAWYERS:

Yes, the Governor’s Selective Mask Mandate is Unconstitutional (in several ways). Here’s what you need to know:

The Director of the Ohio Department of Health cannot criminalize otherwise-lawful conduct, especially irrespective of intent. Nor may it do so in a non-uniform manner. After our victory in State v. Brearley, no person has been successfully prosecuted for violating a health director’s order in 134 years.
Practically nobody is forced to wear a mask: there are 13 exceptions, which, cumulatively, are broad enough to exempt anyone at anytime and anyplace. Bottom line: if you don’t want to wear a mask, you don’t have to. And if you’re wearing a mask, it’s because you’re choosing to do so.
The Order contains no enforcement mechanisms: it designates no state or local agency to enforce the order. And this failure to designate local enforcement agencies is intentional: the Governor wants all lawsuit be filed against ODH alone and thus venued in Franklin County*, where he is certain to win.
Because everyone is exempt and there is no enforcement mechanism, lawsuits against this mandate will fail if you do not have a written warning, threat, or citation from a local governmental authority.
Lawsuits against this mandate will also fail if you attempt them in counties with unfit judicial systems, such as Cuyahoga, Lorain, Franklin, Montgomery, or Hamilton.
To challenge the mandate, email us at Info@OhioConstitution.org ONLY if you are in a regulated county not listed above and are able to attach a written warning, threat, or citation.
In the interim, you’re entitled to disobey these orders, and we will defend those who are prosecuted.”

    * Franklin County is basically Columbus, now a DEM fortress: for those who do not know, the Governor is named DeWine, a spineless RINO who, however, is NOT spineless when it comes to acting just like a DEM…which is what RINOS do! 🙂

American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character (2013)

In “American Betrayal”, Diana West argues that America began to abandon its core ideals and march toward Socialism nearly 75 years ago. Starting in the late 1930s, at the time of FDR, the Soviets were already in a position to take advantage of the many communist sympathizers in the U.S. Not only FDR, but also Presidents Truman and Eisenhower and those in their inner circles played roles in enabling the U.S.S.R. as well as concealing the massive Moscow-directed penetration of American society. West shows that the system of spies designed to denigrate the American way of life was deep and extensive.

What was it I believe Stalin said when referring to America? Something along the lines of “Americans can choose capitalism, and Russia will happily sell them noose they will hang themselves with.”

That quote says it all. The commies take advantage of our freedoms only to turn them against us. In a way, we almost need to be totalitarian to an extent to keep our freedom. As messed up as that sounds. In a perfect world, the founders would have flat out defined socialism and communism in our constitution and made them definitively unconstitutional and nearly impossible to remove without an amendment.

Instead we end up with commie scum like Roberts on the SCOTUS saying that Obamacare can pass as a tax. Even though that’s not how it was written and should have been forced to re-write it and go all the way back through the process of legislation to make it’s way back to the SCOTUS. But Roberts thought it was OK to violate the constitution and legislate from the bench. GD, that man has been a hemorrhoid upon the American judicial system and people.

    For the most part, we all make an assumption, which I think needs to be called into question;

“Obama admin. and Democrats exploited contractor access to the NSA database, and exploited it for political purposes.”

    While I don’t think anyone can dispute this, my question is;
“WHAT makes us think it was ONLY Obama and the Dems, exploiting this?
Specifically, what makes us think it was not the UNIPARTY, both Dems AND Reps using contractors to access the NSA database, for political purposes?”

The MOU signed between the FBI and CIA, which gave the FBI access to the NSA database, was signed by Mueller, and IIRC, back during the Bush admin.

Until we have a list of the 702 search query TARGETS, we are only assuming it was motivated by Dems searching Repub opponents.

It has been Republican Senate every bit as much, or more, that has firmly resisted ANY attempt to block reauthorisation of, have hearings on, or modify the FISA law.

Mr. “I’LL promise to hold hearings (but not) Lindsey ‘finally’ has held hearings on what? FISA, and ONLY after the FISA reauthorisation bill collapsed, when they thought it would pass.

The 702 search queries, is a phenominal tool for manufacturing an “Oct. Surprise” in order to fight off a primary challenger.

I think both faces of the Uniparty were using contractor access to the NSA database, to defend themselves against primary challengers, and THATS what they didn’t want Flynn and PDJT exposing.

Notice, after Adm. Rogers closed off access, AOC primaried a 10 term Democrat Congressmen?

Unlike Sundance, I am not good at deep dive, in the weeds research. I just look at events and actions we have all observed, that don’t SEEM to make sense, and TRY to find SOME logical explanation, so that they DO make sense.

Look at it this way; if your enemy has a,’secret weopon’, and they keep using it against you, and winning, eventually your going to figure it out.

As an example, anyone familiar with the “Ultrasecret” during WW2, where the allies broke the german cypher.

We went to extraordinary lengths to exploit the info, while camaflouging that we HAD the data.

Point being, if your thinking in terms of R vs D, eventually the,R’s would have figured out the D’s were ‘cheating’ and exposed that they were using illegal access to the NSA database.

And yet, what we see is,R’s doing everything they can, to PRESERVE the FISA court, and block any attempts to prevent exploitation of the NSA database.

The only way this “makes sense” to me, is Uniparty. Using the IRS to prevent the Tea party was only one aspect of preventing primarying, which is a vulnerability of incumbents of both faces of the Uniparty.

Contractors accessing the NSA database, combining the results with deep oppo research, in order to derail ANY primary challenger, is the long term way to address what is,a,serious threat to Uniparty control (primarying).

    Thoughts,….?

We all make our contribution, each in our own way. Sundance is phenominal at deep dive research, and never gets ahead of his skis; he never asserts something, unless he has uncontrovertible evidence to back up his assertion.

I get ‘lost in the weeds’ sometimes, can’t keep dates and names straight in my head, etc.

But, I look at what his research points too, combine it with events we have ALL seen play out, that just don’t make sense,…and TRY to use logic, to MAKE sense of it.

In many cases, I don’t ‘like’ the conclusions I draw, and would actually ‘like’ for someone to effectively and logically prove me wrong.
Thats a prime motivation for me posting them.

I would like, no LOVE for someone to logically convince me that Barr/Durham are going to give us convictions, LOVE to believe I can simply vote for the Candidate, with an “R” after their name, etc.

But, as Sundance says, once you see the strings, the puppet show loses its appeal.

Once you know how the magic trick is performed,…it loses its magic.

And, once you SEE it, you can not UNsee it.
I am pretty sure Sundance has figured this out, but their are no equivalent to the ‘lovers texts’ between McConnell and Ryan.

No concrete, irrefutable admissable evidence in a court of law PROOF of Cingressional Republicon complicity, and a LEADERSHIP role in the coup.

Only logic, which I believe never the less DOES give us
        “Evidence, beyond a reasonable doubt”.

There was probably nothing left to “save” and the risk to life conducting an offensive interior attack was far greater. The acronym for fire operations is RECEO with salvage (saving/protecting things) and ventilation being inserted where it can be done. Rescue-Exposure protection (exposure protection can be another room in the building, another building, etc)-Containment (contain to room of origin, building of origin, etc.)-Extinguish-Overhaul (make sure the fire doesn’t start back).

Rescue is done. They had no immediate outside exposures (at initial size of fire based on “extinguishing” it) andnprobably we’re dealing with protecting exposures on the ship, so they worked on containing it to the area of origin on the ship. Most likely they lost that battle and needed to work on protecting exposures outside the ship.

Some fires you can’t extinguish and are best left to burn out on their win while protecting other exposures.

I’m sure you could do better, so go to San Diego and offer to take over.
