So we flattened the curve and 130,000 Americans died instead of 2.2MM, correct? Half of the unfortunate deaths came from our elderly citizens, and CDC readiness is now much improved. We have improved treatment and care of CV-19 inflicted, and we have also rolled out testing for a large part of the country.

Seems like everything so far has gone to plan as near as I can tell. Our testing efficiency is now allowing greater number and with it more positive test outcome, but significantly fewer deaths. Isn’t this part called HERD IMMUNITY and just the next logical step in a successful pandemic plan?

the uniparty destroyed our economy … to take out a president.

the uniparty and their allies – carelessly threw the lifes of democrats and republicans to a game of chance if they could survive this assasination of their livelihood for the personal gain of the elites.

our elites fear no death of us that they cause – they will lie of viruses, intelligence to start wars, and utilize polls to say this is how people are thinking.

WE ARENT THINKING THE WAY THEY SAY. every day you should make some underhanded comment while shopping or near crowds about the credibility of the media. this IS WAR – utilize time wisely.

Yes, here in the west, good sheriffs are vital. There is an association, oath keepers.com, I believe, of the good law enforcement officers. Towns have cops, and states have their highway patrols, but county sheriffs are the law, and the county jails, deputies and posses are their jurisdiction.

Absolutely. County Commissions and Sheriff office are rapidly becoming last place to take a stand.

I learned the hard way in fighting municipal politics that the global UN agendas bypass the State, and are being implemented directly in towns and cities, funded by federal programs, paid for by us. These urbanization programs turn anything, any area, any economy, blue.

After 10 years of those cesspools I moved to a rural red county. Our Sheriff will not enforce unconstitutional orders from the Governor, while our Republican house and senate remain silent.

But already I see signs of the same agendas taking hold in the county policies. Federal funding and Regional Governance Councils extend these UN agendas out here. “Opportunity Zone” funding has already been hijacked.

The Dems in my town have run rings around the dopey Repubs. They now control the Town board, the school board, the library board, the zoning and planning boards, the assessor’s position and so on. Likewise, the County Sheriff is a lib Dem as well.
The county GOP is a sick joke- even more corrupt than the Dems because they used to be in power. They don’t even try anymore.
We need to get as many good people into office as we can. Sadly, most of us are way behind in this regard but it’s never too late to start.

It will no doubt get very ugly for him fast and thats where we must step in . Making those ANTIFA look like the minority babies they are. We are the Majority BIGLY. The international’s pretense — believing in “science” — is just that — pretense.

What they mean is, believe whoever we set up as the “experts” — believe in the “official” information, the distributed “truth.” It is very much part of their collectivism-at-large, meaning they do not want people who can think for themselves. If you put together facts based on your own knowledge and experience, it might not jive with their interests, where if you believe the “conventional wisdom” and “what everybody knows” without caring about details, then you are kept in line.

Authenticity is their enemy, as is personal autonomy. This battle for what is “truth” is huge–we see it in their scoffing of “alternative facts” — it is now is conventional wisdom, that there can be no such thing…when in reality, the corporate media picks out the “facts” they want distributed, and of course there really are “alternative facts”–the ones their cherry-picking ignore.

But they have everyone scoffing at the silliness of the very possibility of “alternative facts” — that’s some dangerous control, right there. (Very islamic, too, as in “ask the inman” if something is halal or haram, rather than deciding yourself, and depending on “consensus” of experts, rather than law.)

THAT is what we were told was the goal back in March but now suddenly everything has been turned on its head yet again. Testing capabilities are up significantly and we’re in the warmest time of the year across the country (and the virus supposedly can’t survive in warm weather?) so wouldn’t this be the time to tell everyone to get out there and get exposed so that our bodies can develop antibodies against this virus?

But no, if anyone tests positive, OR is in close contact with anyone who tests positive, OR is even in close contact with anyone who has ANY symptoms, regardless of their test results, they are all supposed to completely isolate themselves from everyone for 14 days? How does that even make sense?

Their goal is to seemingly eradicate the CV-19 virus.

And, if that ever happens (it won’t), my guess is they would say let’s use the same successful method to fight the scourge of the flu. People’s general health has declined significantly because medical services have basically been closed for months.

The medical field ran away from the virus. No local doctors wanted to see anyone. Go to the ER, they all said. Now, they’d be happy if they continue to provide the same level of BS service at greater profit by having you do a tele-visit with a doctor.

But the general population’s health…I wouldn’t be surprised if they are better off. I have learned from the death of my parent both within the last 2.5 years….healthcare is woefully inadequate. Me Myself and I same thing…healthcare…Doctors in particular… did me great harm by not treating my condition properly. I read somewhere that infant mortality actually went down cause Moms weren’t taking babies in for vaccines…Wouldn’t surprise me if true…Makes one want to give those anti vaccine people a second look……PT reign has certainly been a big reveal.

I know dozens of people who haven’t had screening tests. My skin cancer check still hasn’t been re-scheduled from March. They would do virtual, but nope not going there unless I’m worried about something. I’m actually pretty good at spotting them.

I know EMT’s and Paramedics saying they are having less calls, but also significantly more DOA because people didn’t go to the ER with chest pain or because they felt dizzy. They are seeing many more critical patients because people are scared to go to the hospital. I also know of four suicides likely because of the lock down and social isolation.

I’d be curious on the number of emergency heart catherizations that were done over the last 4/5 months compared to normal.

Children aren’t getting their ‘well’ doctor’s appointments. While that is vaccines, it’s also so many other things like eyesight, growth and mental health.

RS- you are so correct. The medical profession ran away from the virus and shuttered their doors instead of taking care of their patients. Also, they complied with Governors mandates on how to run their practices and in so doing how many countless people died due to lack of access to the HCQ cocktail? They are not heroes. I say this very sadly as a nurse.

And the science does not support masks for healthy people or social distancing. The fact that the medical community, with few exceptions, has been silent on this is sickening. They allowed people to die alone in a hospital room. This is not how hospitals treat people with infections. Even if you require isolation precautions you are allowed limited visitors who must follow the infectious disease precautions in order to stop the spread. Think about how evil and cruel the healthcare profession was every time you think of how these poor COVID deaths occurred. These are not hero’s. These are cowards.

Given that in my County in PA we had early March cases, I firmly believe that hospitals and medical offices were some of the main transmission sites. Several doctors in our area were the patient zero because of overseas travel. Honestly I’m glad they canceled my appointment at the beginning. Once they got a handle on how infectious the virus was, they could have opened up.

these new findings have not yet been published in a scientific journal… The New York Times reported*. (I condensed this report as much as possible)

© Provided by Iran Daily: DNA linked to COVID-19 was inherited from Neanderthals
” This piece of the genome, which spans six genes on Chromosome 3, has had a puzzling journey through human history. About 60,000 years ago, some ancestors of modern humans expanded out of Africa and swept across Europe, Asia and Australia. They encountered Neanderthals, interbred, and Neanderthal DNA entered our gene pool.

Chromosome 3 linked to COVID-19: this variant is now common in Bangladesh, where 63% of people carry at least one copy. In South Asia, almost one-third of people have inherited the segment. Only 8% of Europeans carry it, and just 4% have it in East Asia. It is almost completely absent in Africa.

Researchers* compared people in Italy and Spain who became very sick with COVID-19 to those who had only mild infections. They found two places in the genome associated with a greater risk:
1). One is on Chromosome 9 and includes ABO, a gene that determines blood type. (But an international group of scientists called the COVID-19 Host Genetics Initiative released data downplaying the risk of blood type.)
2). The other is the Neanderthal segment on Chromosome 3. In an online database of Neanderthal genomes, the version that raises people’s risk of severe COVID-19 is the same found in a Neanderthal who lived in Croatia 50,000 years ago.

Dr. Zeberg, Dr. Paabo and Dr. Janet Kelso, of the Max Planck Institute, discovered that one-third of European women have a Neanderthal hormone receptor. It is associated with increased fertility and fewer miscarriages.

        researchers / sources:
Hugo Zeberg, a geneticist at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, author of this new study.
Zeberg’s coauthor, Svante Paabo, director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany.
They posted the study online on Friday.*

Let’s see if 50% of the 130K total deaths came from nursing homes that makes that number at 65,000.

So how many of these deaths are fair to apply to the idiots who ordered and sent sick CV outsiders into these nursing homes, thus endangering and infecting thousands more?

My WAG is 20-30K unnecessary deaths to their massive decision error.

Now ask the question if hydroxychloroquine had been used early on instead of all hatred and negativity by people who condemn it because PT promoted it, how many unnecessary deaths did this lead to?

      Does 10-30K seem fair!

Add these two estimates together and you get almost 50% of the total deaths may have been preventable if not for the stupidity and hatred of so many.

The People want this over (civil war) and will do one of two things. I’m talking about the Swing Voters and Independents in these key states are going to want it over, and if President Trump takes Control, and there is a lot of people who don’t want him to, he has the military that is hesitant, blue governors etc.

Victor Davis Hansen also implied “One Component” to Winning is Federal Indictments. IMO Indictments will bring in millions of new voters (educate the uniformed) to offset Illegal Voting and is the “ONLY WAY” to Win this Legal Civil War. Justice has been PDJT Nuclear Weapon since November 2016 and has “Planned” this moment for Justice for over 3-years. The Globalist/Coup/Criminals has tried to block PDJT from implementing Justice for over 3-years.

Victor Davis Hansen: if he doesn’t (Take Control) the American Swing voter will go into a fetal position, make it all go away, they will come to the wrong conclusion thinking Biden’s victory will pacify the left, in fact it will encourage them.

IMO PDJT will 100% Win 2020 Presidential Election.

PDJT Winning the 2020 election will be meaningless in the long run without Justice. Why? Because the Globalist/Coup/Criminals will naturally become 100 X’s more powerful/corrupt when PDJT leaves office in 2024, easily reversing MAGA, taking down the border wall, stack the Supreme Court, allow illegal (aliens) voting and finish their 20 year evil plan of replacing the U.S. Constitution with a Globalist Constitution.

The Globalist/Coup/Criminal nuclear weapon is destroying the Rule of Law the shield that protects the U.S. Constitution and the American People. PDJT implementing Justice destroys the Globalist/Coup/Criminals and Wins this Legal Civil War.

If PDJT didn’t Win the 2016 Presidential Election, the 20 year plan of the Globalist, Rinos, Dimms, Business Round Table, Chamber of Commerce and Wall street would have been completed by Hillary Clinton, converting the U.S. into a 3rd world country. Without Justice these 8 years of battles will be a bump/Pause for the Globalist and they will “Win this Civil War” when PDJT leaves office.

LOU DOBBS: President Trump continues to tweet/talk about the efforts of the intelligence community, Justice Department and the FBI, elements of all to overthrow the President.

LOU DOBBS: Let be straight forward…we have an election coming up in less than 4-months, “IF THIS ISN’T RESOLVED” if we don’t know who is charged, and if there is no-one charged going into that election, this A/G AND “PRESIDENT TRUMP HIMSELF WILL BE RESPONSIBLE” for permitting, the radical dimms and the deep state, to steel another election, just like they did, in 2018, and that is unthinkable that would occur.

I have agreed with Lou Dobbs recent Implied Statement since November 2016; President Trump Himself is Responsible for Implementing Justice

    IMO:
I believe PDJT is 200% responsible for Justice. PDJT constant, over 3-years of repeated “Acknowledgements” of Criminal Acts along with the Mountains of Paper/Digital/Testimonies of Evidence proving Criminal Acts, created a Duty for PDJT to implement Justice.

PDJT is 100% Responsible for Implementing Justice and has the POWER/DUTY by the Constitution and the American People to Implement Justice.

PDJT had many Opportunities to Implement Justice by taking other Paths to Justice.

Judicial Watch has been stating/implying for years that PDJT has the POWER/DUTY and had many Opportunities to Implement Justice, by taking other Paths to Justice.

    IMO:
PDJT has taken a Logical Path to Justice and if Barr Fails, PDJT will take another Path to Justice IMMEDIATELY.

      Agreed!
President Trump not implementing justice would be like George Washington creating the continental army and just talked about fighting never engaging to stand against the most powerful military on earth.

President Trump not implement justice would be like 56 patriots who gathered in Philadelphia 244 years ago and did not sign the Declaration of Independence.

President Trump wonderful speech at Mount Rushmore regarding George Washington…

THE PRESIDENT: George Washington through eight long years, through the brutal winter at Valley Forge, through setback after setback on the field of battle, he led those patriots to ultimate triumph. When the army had dwindled to a few thousand men at Christmas of 1776, when defeat seemed absolutely certain, he took what remained of his forces on a daring nighttime crossing of the Delaware River.

Case in point; the unbelievable battles of President Trump fighting for equal justice against the largest criminal enterprise in U.S. (world) history is like the brutal winter a Valley Forge and the setback after setback on the field of battle he led those patriots to ultimate triumph…and when his Army had dwindled to a few thousand men at Christmas of 1776 and defeat seemed absolutely certain he crossed the Delaware River and seized Victory at Trenton.

I believe implementing justice is as important as George Washington crossing the Delaware River and seized Trenton and forcing the most powerful empire on the planet at Yorktown to surrender.

President Trump is as brilliant and courageous as George Washington who organized a small volunteer force of citizen farmers, creating a continental army out of nothing and rallied them to stand against the most powerful military on earth and against the most powerful forces on earth, including our founding fathers who risked their lives to write a Constitution.

I believe President Trump has the brilliance and courage of those 56 patriots. PRESIDENT TRUMP: It was all made possible by the courage of 56 patriots who gathered in Philadelphia 244 years ago and signed the Declaration of Independence.

President Trump did not educate and show the America people the globalist plan and corruption with evidence and not finish his job by doing nothing.

      President Trump is George Washington.

I agree Trump is a lot like George Washington. He was a successful businessman before he became President. Trump thinks outside the box and looks for opportunities and value added. Mt. Vernon was on the shallow side of the river. So George bought land on the other side to build a wharf so he could ship directly to Europe.

Trump could have been living the good life in NYC & Florida, instead he’s busier than he’s ever been.

MY REPLY: I understood what you just disclosed and fully understood all the battles for the past 4-years of the Globalist/Coup/Criminals trying to block PDJT of implementing Justice and destroying our President and our way of life. PDJT knows exactly what you wrote X’s 1,000 and is very aware of all the traitors who betrayed our President over the last 3-years. PDJT is one of those Great Leaders who will implement Justice according to his ever-changing Justice Implementation Battlefield Plans. PDJT is 200% Responsible for Justice.

Read every word that I wrote very carefully. I understand you have not read (which is alright) any of my posts for the past 4-years that would have answered your questions many times over.

        MY ABOVE POST:
PDJT has taken a Logical Path to Justice and if Barr Fails, PDJT will take another Path to Justice IMMEDIATELY.

If Barr does nothing soon, PDJT can’t just say this is alright, he must act Immediately. PDJT will have to make “Major Chess Moves” before the election, taking other Paths REQUIRED/DEMANDED by the Constitution.

If Barr’s betrays PDJT, Indictments will now be postponed until after the election, AND, PDJT Must show the American People his “New Path” to Justice Immediately, “Starting the Process before the Election” will be “Extremely” Important.

When there is an on-going-concern for the Constitution and the America People; the Constitution Demands/Requires PDJT to Implement Justice. We are at war and fighting for our survival.

        And read Linda’s excellent post above;
In my summary; there are many “battles” that are won and lost in wars and what matters is Winning the War (Justice). Great Leaders never lose sight of winning the war after setbacks (losing a battle). Notice how PDJT uses the loss of a battle to his advantage. We don’t know all PDJT plans; we do know he has had a plan since November 2016, is 100% (IMO 200%) responsible for Justice even if he has to Micro-Manage the FBI/DOJ (Judicial Watch) and has the power/duty to the Constitution and the American people to implement Justice for our Constitutional Republic to live on.

PDJT has used the last 3 ½ -years of the Globalist/Coup/Criminals plan to block Justice and destroy PDJT in Reverse; to destroy them by adding additional mountains of paper/digital trails of evidence along with conflicting statements (perjury charges) and educating the American people. As Sidney Powell implied, the reason prosecutions has taken so long is because the corruption is deep/wide/broad.

PDJT like all great leaders and for over 3-years has alter his plans for Justice constantly which is normal when fighting a war.

Just went and looked; hadn’t heard about this until now.
Looks like a driver cruising along the freeway, comes around bend, finds all but one lane blocked, steers for the lane, sees people, smokes his brakes, veers away from the gaggle, hits the unlucky two who are running the wrong way, and slides to a stop.

I say the “wrong” way, because the pedestrians couldn’t see him until the last second, and vice versa. Meaning, it looks quite the opposite of intentional.

What I don’t understand is why was the freeway closed, and if it was closed, how did he gain access? If the freeway was not closed but instead was blockaded by intentionally parked cars and milling pedestrians, then those people OWN the outcome with all strict, criminal liability attached.

Allowing them to break the law was dereliction of duty on the part of the police and whoever gave the order. My understanding is that allowing protestors to block the interstate in that part of Washington has been going on for at least 6 years. NOW, the state and police officials are saying they will enforce the law. Unbelievable.

    https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2020/t0212-cdc-telebriefing-transcript.html

I bought my respirators in the latter half of January, shortly after the first Chicago case was announced. I knew the virus was going to spread like wildfire and I knew a respirator would protect me. How is it that Nancy Messonier did not know this? Widespread us of respirators or even surgical masks back in January and February probably would have helped to stop the spread.

This will happen again. I have to review the timing, I think it’s like every 3-6 years we have a new pandemic. China knows it can wipe 500k+ people off of the planet without officially declaring war, how convenient. Releasing it on their own citizens might have been deliberate, it makes them look like victims. COVID-19 was a mild if not symptomless infection for most people. The next virus might be more like SARS v1 or MERS which had much higher fatality rates.

    Why We Need History
    By Robert Spencer – July 2, 2020

The savage Left is busy tearing down statues and repudiating American history, and with it America itself. In response, lovers of freedom are deploring the destruction and denouncing the barbarians, but few are mounting a robust and informed response to their hatred of American history itself. Yet if there is anything that this orgy of destruction should have taught us, it is that we must know, and know familiarly, and cherish, the history of our republic. Doing this will go a long way toward saving our free society.

West, 43, used the hashtag #2020VISION, suggesting that he intends to run this year.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” he wrote on Twitter on the Fourth of July.

After posting the tweet, West gained the support of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who responded: “You have my full support.”

However, it’s not clear if West has filed the paperwork to formally join the race between President Donald Trump and the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. West previously expressed his support for Trump and also has been spotted wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

Yesterday in the Auburn area, there were old men
waving large flags on street corners, parking lot stands

    stickers and campaign materials.

Trucks and cars everywhere were decked with American

The back burn to extinguish the fires of sedition is fervent and

However, the closer you get to the coast, the bluer it becomes. We lived until recently just east of Mendocino county, our county went for Biden in 2016 fer cryin’ out loud. Trump supporters kept their heads down for the most part, battered conservative syndrome. As much as we loved where we lived, the overreach of Sacramento, the fires, water and electricity rationing drove us from where we wanted to spend our last days. The coastal area is a political poison that slowly creeps eastward. I was hopeful for the State of Jefferson, or a division of the state, but that will never happen as long as the dems have their dirty hands around their peoples neck.

This year we’re told there will be additional measures approved by the leagues. This will show support for whatever injustice has befallen the downtrodden, subjugated, or less fortunate. Whereas I will continue refusing to watch the competition or purchase products advertised during their events.

Regardless of the number, it will be satisfying to see just how many other citizens join in the refusal to aid and abet protestors.

Let’s take a different perspective on examining the rise in cases in Florida. Because when you stick to the science, it actually just means our immune systems are (finally) being allowed to work again after months of suppression caused by stay-at-home orders. This article explains more: https://thepoliticsofduh.com/2020/07/05/cases-are-up-lets-celebrate/

    • Deplore Able says:

I don’t think the article analyzes the most important factor. The increase in Florida cases is directly correlated to the number of tests. For example:

      June 27:
      Tests: 41,645
      Positives: 5,398

      July 3:
      Tests: 85,080
      Positives: 11,443

If you double the number of tests, you are going to double the number of positives, all other factors remaining the same. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Check out the graphs at page 2 of the following link. The number number of positive increases and decreases as the number tested increases and decreases.

      Click to access state_reports_latest.pdf

Perhaps not all of the increase can be explained by the increase in testing, but most of the increase can be explained.

      • Alex50 says:

The increase in cases is not simply a matter of more testing. The increase in testing is not random but rather being driven by people actually having mild symptoms or being around others who have tested positive. Florida did not simply double the tests from one day to the next. The demand for testing has increased. In one incident in Southern California, upwards of 20 people who were in a bar together all tested positive within a week of exposure. In another, all the restaurant employees tested positive at a Mexican restaurant in the same town.

Look at the graphs and you can easily see the correlation between the number of tests and the number of positives. The number of new positives increases on days when test results are high and falls on days the test results are low. The percentage of positive tests over the last week are all in the 14% to 15% range.

Florida did nearly double the number of tests in a 5 day period, between June 29 and July 3rd. June 30 positives 6,056. July 3rd positives, 11,443. Double the tests, double the positives.

Not all persons are tested because they are symptomatic. Some people are tested because they need a negative test to go back to work. In the five day period between June 29 and July 3rd, what other factors would make the number of new cases increase.

Journalist Alex Berenson is probably one of the brightest when it comes to interpreting the data on Covid19. He recently stated after extensive analysis that it was not a simple matter of increased testing accounting for new cases. He feels as I do that it involved a more complicated scenario than a simple linear relationship. I guess we both disagree with your analysis.

I just got back from a week long camping trip in the mountains. No cell service whatsoever (which can be a good thing), but I can pick up a local radio station that features the Chi-com biden radio ‘news’ system, formally known as CBS, along with conservative talk radio. But I was missing the CTH for my continuing education, and I see that there is a lot of catching up to do.

My first item to read will be the article about my very own liz cheney. Honestly, I am at a loss on how to get rid of this super RINO. Many folks here vote for name recognition, or the WY pedigree. As far as I know, there isnt a primary challenger in the upcoming primary, so the only competition will be in the general election where a constitutional and libertarian candidate will be a choice, along with the dim.

For a solid red state, WY sure has a lot of RINOs – which can be seen here:

    https://wyorino.com/

If you look at the Conservative Reviews Scorecard, you can see that cheny and barrasso both get Fs, while enzi gets a D average.

    https://www.conservativereview.com/scorecard/

Former congresstype Cynthia Lumis will probably replace enzi, which will be an improvement, but by how much will need to be seen.

Google News bias: I think someone needs to do an analysis of the top headlines on news.google.com. Invariably, 3 out 4 or so, are anti-trump, and cite CNN, the NY Times, or the Washington Post. It doesn’t matter how unpopular CNN becomes, as long as it’s stories are put at the top of the news story lists by Google. For some reason, this bias by Google News has gone largely unexamined, but I think it can have a major effect on swaying public opinion.

EYE OPENING. Attorney John Durham rightly asked, supposedly, why no Whistleblowers came forward when General Flynn was being railroaded. Here is a prime example from a career IRS Attorney.

RedState: IRS Whistleblower Explains Why No One in the FBI or the DOJ Spoke up for General Flynn

    Why no Whistleblowers?

“The next day, I received an email from one of my readers who said he could easily answer Mr. Durham’s question. It’s because “No one in the FBI or the DOJ wanted to engage in a futile suicide mission that would put them and their families through years of hell, cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars, and put their pensions at risk, all so that their information could be ignored.” …”

“…In November 2017, Mr. Henck was forced out for being a whistleblower. During his career at the IRS, he reported the bullying of World War II veterans, evidence of a cover-up in the Lois Lerner (or Tea Party) case, and the improper giveaway of literally billions of dollars to taxpayers represented by sketchy Washington lobbyists….”

“…One way that the IRS can retaliate against people is through the use of retaliatory income tax audits. It happened to Mr. Henck and his wife, Tea Party activist Catherine Engelbrecht, and numerous others. He notes that “When they wanted to get rid of me, they shredded civil service rules and broke the law. And what is to stop them? Congress does not care and TIGTA actively colludes with them.” …”

That all said, Virginia demographically has changed. I believe more non-native Virginians now live in the state (I’m a transplant myself). So what was red has rapidly moved purple and now into blue territory. (Part of this is because the GOP in this state is a mess… they didn’t even run candidates in a ton of local elections and that’s a big reason why the Dems now control the state).

The Patriots are still here, but this state may be lost as Northern Virginia is the Swamp.

Even worse, lots of them are both teaching future teachers and doing research which is then introduced at “workshops” and forced on teachers as “best practices,” as if teaching were a science where variables could be monitored, rather than an art where there may be a framework, but anything can happen.

It’s one reason why having a greater percentage of teachers at these “workshops” to fight against the mandatory brainwashing would be a great help to those currently in the fray. Also, those same people go into admin where they may be in charge of hiring “trainers” who are consultants paid thousands of dollars to give a one-day “training” to teachers on this BS.

There were several of us a over a decade ago at a Seattle school who would not commit to these gaslight type trainings. We were dubbed by one dept head (who later went into admin downtown) as “the passive-aggressives,” as in “We’ll be doing something about these passive-aggressives next year” email she sent out school-wide in the spring shortly before we moved out of the area and back to relative sanity.

Just an FYI for those who may not know these things work.

From WATTS UP WITH THAT Corona page:
There are four important numbers in the game—positive tests, negative tests, hospitalizations, and deaths. Each has its own problems.

The positive and negative tests used to refer just to detecting active cases. Now, however, we have test for both active cases and antibody tests to determine if someone has ever had the virus … and unfortunately, there’s no distinction in the data between these totally different tests.

Hospitalizations were no problem when only corona patients were in the hospitals. But now that elective and other procedures are happening again, say some young guy goes in for a vasectomy. He gets tested, he’s not an active case but he has antibodies. So guess what? His hospitalization is now a COVID hospitalization. So they test his wife and two kids. They had it too, asymptomatic, but they’re now three more positive tests.

Then there’s the problem of repeat testing of people who have the disease. If someone gets six tests, then it’s reported as six separate cases even though it’s only one case.

Finally, the deaths. The CDC in its infinite stupidity has said to categorize a death WITH coronavirus the same as a death FROM coronavirus. They’ve also said that if a physician even SUSPECTS, not that corona caused the death but suspects that corona somehow contributed to the death … mark it as a death from coronavirus.
