Anger Games – Economic Rebound Antithetical To The Class Warfare Plan…

The media apoplexy over stunningly positive economic news is directly related to how much damage a positive economy does to the Antifa/BLM strategy to divide our nation through class warfare.  A thriving Main Street economy is antithetical to the objective.

A thriving Main Street means an expanding U.S. middle-class.  As the middle-class expands it becomes more difficult to organize outrage based on division.

Part of the reason why limo-liberal elites have been successful politicians through the years is the outcome of their economic policy inherently creates a wider gap between the haves and have-nots.  This divide allows politicians to control apportioning.

Exploiting the gap, essentially exploiting class warfare as a political strategy, is the fuel that drives identity politics. Ergo all progressive economic policies, the offshoring of jobs; the policies that support Wall Street and globalism etc; are designed to weaken the U.S. middle-class while making rich people more affluent, and poor people more dependent.

The ruling elites deny this fundamental truth, but the rust-belt did not create itself.  The erosion of the U.S. manufacturing base -and Main Street- was an outcome of policy. Republicans and Democrats participated in this process.  Democrats claim, falsely, to be champions of the middle-class; but their narrative is refuted by the actual results of their policy.  Both parties are deep in the pockets of Wall St multinationals.

Many people call for a third party in politics without realizing President Trump represents the first second party DC has seen in decades.  That’s why he is opposed by both wings of the same legislative bird.

Through dependency the political elites begin their role to decide who gets what part of their limited and controlled economic pie.  Economic intervention, supported by both wings, in the spending process is what has allowed political interests to retain control.

Main Street and the freedom within the free market is a problem for command and control economic systems.  Wall St global financial systems, controlled by a limited number of large institutional multinationals, are much easier to control.

Remember the catch phrase “too big to fail” in the banking system?  The DC ruling class said a small group of banks controlled too much wealth.  So they instituted ‘banking reform’.  The result was even fewer banks that were even bigger.  The outcome was the exact opposite of what they said was the purpose.  Their policy made the problem worse.

President Trump’s America First agenda is specifically a benefit to Main Street and the middle class.  In the banking sector treasury policy and targeted deregulation focused on creating more community banks and credit unions to benefit Main Street.  That’s exactly what happened. By focusing on Main Street, Trump and Mnuchin fixed what the uniparty congress did not. [Arguably, congress purposefully and willfully did not.]  Smaller, more nimble, banks are now positioned to assist small and medium Main Street businesses.

President Trump’s domestic and global political opposition recognize that his trade and economic policies have reversed much of their control.  There are trillions at stake, that’s the financial motive for the opposition.  However, a lack of control over the economic outcome; meaning President Trump creating more pies; means not only do they lose control over the money, they also lose control through diminished political power.

America-First is a program focused on Main Street and it expands the middle class.  That is why during President Trump’s first term the wealth gap actually started to narrow for the first time in decades.   The wage growth for line-level or blue collar workers was/is rising faster than the supervisory wages.  This is a uniquely trumpian effect from a return to economic policies that benefit Main Street USA workers.

More jobs means the value of labor to do those jobs increases.  This economic path is against the interests of coastal elites and the politicians they pay to retain the wealth gap.

It is much harder to create outrage over a wealth gap when the workforce is seeing increased wage growth. In that scenario, the voices who live on the fuel of class warfare are ignored.

All of the current U.S. antagonism is dependent on the class struggle.  If the police are defunded only the wealthy will have access to police.

The same process is true for healthcare, housing and a host of economic measures.  If a person can independently afford to access these sectors, those who construct the system of controlling, dividing and apportioning the benefits become irrelevant.

The media outrage over the positive economic data today is indicative of their concern the economy will quickly rebound; and that means diminished influence for the politicians the media are in position to support.

The current protest movement is reliant upon the class struggle as the primary narrative underpinning the need for protest leadership.  Abundance is against their interests.

When the economy was shut-down by the COVID virus, it was an unnatural economic event.  Everything inside the U.S. economy including: the number of workers; the growth in wage rates; the availability of jobs; the lack of inflation; the expansion of investment, was the strongest in our history.  However, when everything was stalled all of that positive architecture, the policy that created the outcome, did not go away.

U.S. economic conditions were being driven by internal economic activity that was no longer as dependent on global drivers.  When the underlying economic strength is domestic, it makes sense the economy can restart much faster because the activity is not dependent on outside global stimulus.  In essence, the USA can rebound much faster because we are NOT dependent on the restart of other global economies.  Again, another uniquely positive attribute that is enhanced by ‘America-First’ policies.

China, Obama, Pelosi and Schumer can, and did, attempt to throw a COVID wrench in the expanding U.S. economy.  However, they cannot undo the foundation President Trump had already established.  Those America-First policies will again work in our favor; and yes, when President Trump says he “can do it again” his confidence is based on that underlying foundation.

Trump may not articulate it, but he knows the U.S. economic independence he has already achieved through three years of advanced policy to benefit Main Street.  He knows the trade agreements, the cutting of regulation, the unleashing of energy development and the weight of tariffs on imports all mean the best place for investment is inside the U.S.A.

That fundamental structure did not change, and is not going to change.

A recent example – Remember the previously mentioned policy focus on deregulated community banks and credit unions to assist Main Street?  The success and efficiency of the Paycheck Protection Program for small and medium business was a direct result of that earlier policy.  Even in crisis the America-First foresight pays dividends.

The far left is hoping to curtail the strength of the economy; that’s why the blue state governors are fighting against reopening.  However, the organized protests of thousands of people gathering together have made their best COVID shutdown arguments moot.

The professional grievance operators have a very narrow window to achieve their objective, and that desperation is starting to show in how severe they are pushing to create division before the economy restarts. Every social justice protest movement has been activated and Antifa footsoldiers are attempting to sow chaos.

The next funeral for George Floyd is being held in North Carolina today.  Then the grievance tour travels to Texas for a full day viewing on Monday, and final funeral on Tuesday.  With the COVID nonsense collapsing at the same time the currency of the race-card is exhausting, what are they going to do after that?

A classic Alinsky agitator, President Obama and his global allies have a goal to exploit the current economic conditions to once again push divisive class warfare.  However, the economic conditions are rebounding faster than he/they are able to exploit…

…There is a collective desperation showing amid their alliance.

Ironically, the middle-class is where the likes of the Antifa Footsoldier and the Bernie Bro are programmed and nurtured. Bernie’s Grand Revolution, for example, is not so much bottom-up as it is middle-out.

        TT,

Absolutely correct. Blue-collar people learn life’s harsher realities a lot sooner and inculcate them into their worldview much more quickly and deeply. Their families don’t generally have the financial resources to keep them isolated/cocooned as long as those of the management/public service middle classes.

Most of the blue-collar folks learn early on about the truths John Derbyshire elucidated in his final article for NR, “The Talk–Nonblack Edition.”

And the wild card for the future is held in the Gen X’ers, appropriately named, though not naming itself. They are the last generation raised in blue collars with mothers at home holding strong beliefs in God, manners and respect for elders.

Yet it is the first to experience denial of advancement through affirmative action, a labor market displaced overseas and regulations governing everything it does, except walking down the sidewalk – so long as you stay on the sidewalk.

It is a generation that has been given no gifts – 20% down for housing, 10% down for transportation, 18% for credit, 8% non-deductible interest for education and 3 months of work for taxes – nor wanted or expected any.

It’s a generation that now observes a working class with little skill and less craftsmanship, college graduates unable to think through thoughts while still struggling with grammar and overgrown entitlement programs now also too big to fail.

It’s voice has always taken a back seat to the Boomers – by age and its much more difficult life – in front of and unheard over the noise and needs of its children behind it. As a generation largely taken for granted and witnessing overwhelming corruption in every facet of life, it is now observes an assault on its beliefs in God, utter inequity in application of rule and law, a Constitution and Bill of Rights tossed out long ago with the aborted fetuses, and Ponzi schemed government programs mathematically culminating to end.

Indeed, Gen X will be the whiled, wiled Wild card.

My friend in Colorado says the Governor is being a “control freak.” He effort to open churches limits 50 people in attendance and 6 ft. apart. They have over a 1,000 people in the church. That equals 3 services x 50 people who can attend one service or 150 for the entire church.

Thank God my church was able to allow families to sit together and they left the yard stick in the office. People used good judgement! It was wonderful the the communion service was adjusted to allow people to line up like robots and give thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank God I don’t live in Colorado.

There are other idiot rules too, so you might want to wait a while before ever going to Colorado for a vacation.

Exactly! I have always maintained that we need to purge our education system of Marxist filth. They reside at all levels, especially in administration. If you focus too much on treating the symptoms, you risk overlooking the root cause of the problem. Many medical conditions can be attributed to deficiencies in critical nutrients due to a poor diet. It’s no different in the education of our country’s youth. If the young mind is fed a diet deficient in the truth, then the cancer of socialism is allowed to take root. We are now seeing the manifestation of that cancer. I’d say the the patient is stage 4 and in need of some strong therapy.

Well, now we see the leadership in Democrat controlled states and it pains me to think about them organizing and running schools. Think K-12 and the damage they are doing to our kids and their future. Something went way wrong with the Civil Rights Movement and schools and blending black children with white children was the least of the problem. School administrators make some tyrant Dem governors look like saints. I worked for one and it was no picnic.

Yesterday my heart was broken when I found out that my daughter and her husband (Lib Dem) are going to a BLM demonstration with my GRANDDAUGHTERS.
This is the same daughter who has gladly been in Lockdown house arrest and who wouldn’t let the kids visit our house because she was afraid someone would catch the fake virus.
This is also the same daughter who wouldn’t dream of taking them to church, and in fact is raising her children as good little heathens.
I have been arguing with her tooth and nail since this began back in March, to no avail. In all other respects except Politics, my daughter and her husband are wonderful people. They are hard working, good parents who value a stable family life, are always there when we need them.
But I have to say that there are times my heart is filled with dark hatred for the political views they embrace, not to mention the insanity and hypocrisy.
I know I am not the only conservative parent that has had this happen in their family. I have no idea what I can do to change them. The brainwashing worked too good.

One has said he is an agnostic. He’s 35 years old. His liberal viewpoints began when he attended college. And yes, still wonderful and smart people, but I wonder why they can’t see the destruction that they are bringing on themselves and their children by supporting this leftist, anti-God ideology. All we got left then is to pray. I pray for their conversion daily. I will add your children to my prayers, too.

Good values don’t have to have anything to do with Christianity. They can be derived from a belief in social contract. Christians can be good people. Atheists can be good people. And each of those belief structures can produce the dregs of society. I look at an individual and ask if I would want that person as a friend. Would I trust that person? Would I want to introduce them to my friends, essentially vouching for them as a good person?

People who think they have the only value system that anyone should have makes me distrust that particular value system. That goes for religious positions as well as political. Conservatives are usually the most open-minded people I know, which is why I respect them so deeply. Most of my liberal friends are “my way or the highway.” When conservatives take that position, they lose my respect and I turn away to walk my own path.

I truly enjoy the diversity of opinion on this site. As well as the one position that holds me heart and soul – deep love for President Trump.

Some of our greatest thinkers are authors, poets, artists.
So I have left a few words from Marianne Williamson just for you….

And….I have also posted “The Four Agreements” which if followed….can and will change your life….

          So, enjoy…..Just for you….

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
          gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give
other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our fear,
          our presence automatically liberates others.

          “Marianne Williamson”

          THE FOUR AGREEMENTS

          1. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORDS:
Speak with Integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or go gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

          2. DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY:
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a protection, a protection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others; you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

          3. DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS;
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama.
“With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life”.

          4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST:
Your best is going to change from moment to moment: it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick: Under any circumstances simply do your best; and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Hasn’t Herr Bowers prepared DC for an uninterrupted riot by ordering National Guard and other police out of the city? Disarming local police? Ordering the White House barriers be removed so the public has free access to ‘the peoples house’?

Hopefully Trump has not obliged the mayors requests. I’ve seen nothing more about this. But if her obvious plans to stage a monstrous insurrection and takeover of the White House by ordering the city defenseless, succeeds …..

In this case, a mere town mayor has no say in the security surrounding the US President and the White House. If anything, Bowers’ comments only clarifies to the world that he is a communist who longs for “the revolution.” He needs to pack his Che Guevara t-shirts and pussy hats and go throw bricks in some other town. Maybe meet a few riot cops who got up early to beat the crowd.

You shouldn’t discount that – if you think we’ve seen 11 on their dial, get ready for the summer. You also shouldn’t discount the failure of logic and reason after several additional generations of children went through a propaganda school systems since 68/72. There are very few conversations I have anymore with younger folks in which they are capable of connecting the dots between causes and effects.

I’ll say it until I am blue in the face: do not discount the Dem chances. Unless we are playing as if Trump is 20 points behind in the 4th quarter, WE WILL LOSE our country. All thats really needed is a few thousand trunk ballots in a couple key places (the DNC is working this angle underneath the chaos), and for a small percentage of LIV’s to decide the they’ve had enough chaos regardless of whose fault it is, and that removing Trump would make it stop (the media is working this angle to the hilt).

Blacks have been doing this for 50 or more years. It works for them. Whites, particularly politicians and bureaucrats, are terrified of black on white violence. Blacks have organizations designed to keep racism alive because they use it to extort money and power. Lots of those organizations have white elitist liberals behind them somewhere. I don’t think blacks will ever abandon racial violence as their primary tool for getting money and power. It works too well for them.

      Boom

And from there many go to nearby homes and destinations like the Jersey / New York bedroom communities, others go elsewhere around the country but not as much, else they’d have just flown there instead.

POLitics, is at heart, about detirmining Public POLicy, thats why they have the same root.

Being able to effect and control public policy,…is the essence of POWER.

And, in a Democratic Republic, public policy needs the peoples passive if not active assent.

Remember Ben Rhodes interview, where he spilled the beans about how the manipulated the young, stupid press to control the narrative, to ‘sell’ the Iran deal, as if it was breakfast cereal?

The thing is, in order to effect the publics perception, so that they will assent to the public policies you want to enact, you need CREDIBILITY.

No credibility, no ability to effect public opinion, no ability to sell the public on your policy. No POWER.

A big part of the campaign against DJT, from the escalator ride on, has been to discredit him; to undermine his credibility, and hence support, from US.

Because they know, as ling as he “could shoot someone in broad daylight, on 5th avenue” and we would say “great shot, Mr. President!”, their plans to remove him from office can NOT succeed; WE will not assent, either passively or actively.

And yet, what they have consistently and recklessly done, is willingly, eagerly even, exposed themselves, their true nature, thereby DISCREDITING themselves, while INCREASING his credibility.

In a sense, you could say the war between PDJT and his (our) enemies, bith foreign and domestic, has been a battle over CREDIBILITY.

HE has steadily, inexhoribly and patiently gained it, while they have foolishly, eagerly thrown it away.

And just when I think they can’t POSSIBLY do anything to further damage their credibility, they surprise me, and plumb new depths.

Never underestimate the creativity and ingenuity,….of fools.

At heart the Progressive/Socialist/Communistic cult has been led and powered by academics, many of which are perpetually angry that they, the smartest people on the planet, have so much less power and money than their capitalistic money-grubbing inferiors. Thus their loathing for DJT, who in their eyes is literally a caricature of a plutocrat. Thus the constant tilting of primary and secondary education towards higher education instead of the trade school and the push for everyone to go to college, the bastion of the intellectuals. Indoctrination of foot soldiers/cannon fodder is also useful, the young are bursting with energy and naivety and they still have a tendency (left over from their parents) to respect and obey their elders, in this case their teachers. Schooling was centralised and many of the things we see today were pushed onto the German people by these new authorities.

There was huge rise in pornography and aberant sexual behaviour partly sponsored by the socialist parties and other groups.

          and listen to others,
          even the dull and the ignorant;
          they too have their story.
          Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
          you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

          Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
          Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
          But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
          many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

          Be yourself.
          Especially, do not feign affection.
          Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
          Beyond a wholesome discipline,
          be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
          no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
          Be cheerful.

The thing is, I listened to Candace Owen’s youtube yesterday, and she claims the numbers are that, statistically, this isn’t really a chronic issue. It unfortunately does happen, but to all races, with whites leading the statistics.

Maybe white people should be marching with signs and numbers demanding equal justice because they are being murdered at a higher rate than black people by the police.

It all makes it sound more like the planned insurrection it is. They were just waiting for the excuse.

What many conservatives such as Owens, Elder, Prager, etc. don’t understand is that approaching this issue from a statistical and logical process will not resonate with the people that need to hear the message most: aggrieved and upset Blacks that bought into the propaganda. All they know is what they saw happen to George Floyd was wrong and that incident is then extrapolated into the personal and combined negative experiences black people have had with police.

Crime stats go in one ear and out the other. The only way to prove your point is to expose the grifters and agitprop for what they are, manipulators. Emotions rule Black Americans not facts and figures. Some voices on the right sound like broken records on these issues and must realize they’re almost entirely preaching to the choir.

“Every social justice protest movement has been activated and Antifa footsoldiers are attempting chaos”

This following incident was local for me. What I saw in the video was an officer walking forward and some one getting his way, possibly after the curfew. The person who was injured in the altercation I later found out attends some of the same meetings I started going to a few months before the Wuhan virus shut them down:

2ANYS Response to Mayor Byron Brown Buffalo ERT Press Conference

The Buffalo, N.Y. Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) made international news the evening of June 4, 2020 when an officer shoved an elderly man to the ground at a downtown protest, causing him to bleed from the ear.

Two officers involved were almost immediately suspended without pay. In protest, 57 Buffalo officers resigned today from the city ERT, prompting Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown to hold a press conference today in response.

Mayor Brown misled city residents as to the extent of their safety today, with virtually the entire city ERT team now off the job, citing a “contingency plan” that clearly doesn’t exist. 2ANYS Founder Steve Felano quickly corrected the mayor’s misinformation.

    http://www.2ANYS.com

I received an email earlier tonight with some additional information; however, I only attended two of the VA Hospital meetings and do not recall seeing Mr. Gugino there.

“…the gentleman who was pushed down by a Buffalo Police Officer in downtown Buffalo on Thursday evening June 4th, was one of our regular Us Too! Meeting attendees. Martin Gugino who frequently attended the Buffalo VA Hospital meetings and occasionally attended the St. Joe’s meetings was the victim. He was taken to ECMC Hospital with a supposed concussion and from what I heard was in stable condition. Let us all pray for Marty’s total recovery…”

Mr. Gugino is probably in very frail condition due to the prostate cancer/ treatments. Which is why he fell so easily after a push.

All I can say from watching the video (it was being played about every 10 minutes during the Friday morning local news broadcast) is that prior to being pushed away, Mr. Gugino’s hand was moving downward and towards the officers waist/belt area.

Which is where officers have their firearm, pepper spray, etc. I saw the officer push him away and keep walking when Mr. Gugino was obstructing him.

I watched the video a few times. While it looks pugnacious in the officer who pushed back, it seems the real issue was the elderly man losing his footing while backing up. He did look to be going toward the belt area of the officer. I don’t think the push would have sent many people down to the ground, most would likely have remained on their feet.

The disrespect for police officers because of the BLM and Obama’s efforts to paint them as racists and killers is paying dividends. The talk growing in insane leftist enclaves about defunding police and installing some community type commission is frightening. Crime will go up exponentially in those places. Those who are pushing for it know they would be breeding grounds for militant violent groups of people to use to sow insurrection.

The tactics being used are the same as the left has always used. Vilify and condemn all who have ties to a small number of people who do wrong. A white person kills a black person, blame and condemn all whites. They tried the same thing with SUVs but that didn’t work, but the tactic seems to be working to push hate and killing toward the police forces. It is always divide and conquer with the left. Create a common enemy to rally the troops around. Never mind that it is a false or misleading narrative… because feelings. The hate the cop movement was pushed big by Obama. It isn’t racial other than the larger percentage of those doing the crimes belong to a race, so the chances of it being a “person of color” having something happen to them grows greater.

No overtime for the hourly workers. Pay cuts for the Office employees. But things are picking up and soon overtime will be back and full pay will be restored. If this Panic had happened during the Obama years, oh, forgot, it did. He was the Virus that hurt US manufacturing like the Bubonic Plague. We called it the Cliff Dive. And it lasted for 8 years. Sundance, you also articulated something else that has been on my mind. Why does China resists Trump’s changes? That is, China has built up its infrastructure to an impressive degree – thanks to us – so let’s compete fairly in a free market. The Chinese are not dumb people so let the country who builds the better widget win in that widget market for now. Then, some smart guy has an idea for a better widget and wins back the market and on and on. Because the Chinese government does not want to relinquish strict control of the Chinese citizens as you describe above. The Chinese government wants to call the shots on who wins and who loses in businesses. The Chinese government shall tell you what to do and allocate resources by governmental fiat. The Chinese government will choose who gets medical care based on your correct or incorrect thinking. You will not receive medical care based on the money you earned and medical care will not be made better and cheaper by free market. As soon as I typed that, Obamacare popped into mind. It divorced medical care from the free market and the average American lifetime began to decline. In other words, we have Americans, the left, who want to enslave us like Chinese government enslaves their own. That is the goal.

New laws? I understand where you’re coming from, but nah. First, that would violate the 1st Amend., which, of course, is also a one-sided issue for the left, but it’s important for us to always remember that you can’t take someone else’s unalienable rights without forfeiting your own. Laws to control them will be used to control you.

Second, if people don’t have the moral principles to understand lying is always wrong and believe the ends justify the means, by any means necessary, laws won’t fix it. Their belief in the latter two is acknowledgement that they believe lying, among other wrongs, are justified, even required, to manipulate people into helping force their agenda onto everyone.

What they don’t understand is that when someone asks you to lie for them, they will lie to you. They have been taught to believe they’re important, intellectually and “morally” superior, with a duty to deceive others for their own good, but in reality, they are merely another disposal “means” by which those they serve achieve their ends.

We, and the free market, fix it. The media has built a house of cards and the storm winds are picking up. Their shaky shack is already severely damaged. Let it fall under its own weight. Speak the truth. Don’t worry about whether the person you’re speaking to believes you or not. Truth plants a seed that might eventually grow when the lie is so obvious, they can see it for themselves.

His mathematics were excellent. ( he bet the horses) and could quickly calculate percentages, fractions etc.

He was also very kind, selfless and giving.

Grandma ran the household and was the disciplinarian. ( ouch!)

My brothers and I will be forever indebted to them.

To the tweet, That is not how the gov Unemployment Rate (U3) is calculated. The statistic is (People who want (actively seeking) work who are not employed) divided by (People who are employed plus People who want work who are not employed).

There are 6 generally accepted unemployment measures, which take seasonal and part time in various permutations, with U2 and U6 rates being (People not working as % of total population) which reflect much higher rates.

If your job was preserved thanks to business loans , or you are furloughed expecting reopening, you are not unemployed. Therefore the numerator is smaller, the rate goes down. If you were switched full time to part time like 2009, the rate is the same but earning power is reduced. that’s why so many of us in Obama’s “recovery” didn’t feel like people were really back to work. If you are not seeking work (tax dependents), both are smaller, and the rate is not reflective.

To simply deny or pretend it isn’t happening just makes it look like they are the ones making it happen.
The optics for the Dems are truly awful and ordinary ‘old style’ Democrats are abandoning them in droves: the Dem elite are pretending that isn’t happening either.

It’s curious because the supervisor of elections office was blocks away from where the action was. I know courthouses and city halls have been ransacked in other parts of the country, were any election offices?

NY State mailed out absentee ballots to every registered voter this week due to covid-19 preventing in-person voting. I received one of these absentee ballots and recognize immediately the built in attempt to assist with fraud….

(1)”Mark the ballot in pen or pencil

(2)”MAKE A SINGLE CROSS MARK OR A SINGLE CHECK MARK

Note: In person ballots use marker pens which are used to completely fill in outlined circle next to candidates identity…unlike this check mark or ‘x’ or it’s declared invalid

(3)”The whole ballot is void if the voter does any act extrinsic to the ballot….other than those permitted

      Note: What is permitted then?
This ballot is simply for local school board election, just the same, it leaves little confidence in the system given the flaws mentioned above. See image of the relevant portions of my ballot below:

Can you imagine if we had ballot harvesting in New York? At any rate, as much as I care about the vote outcome, I refuse to vote this time around. I am not going to help confer legitimacy to mail-in voting. Hopefully, we can stop this before November.

These looters are losers like the rest of the left. It is all phony facade,Potemkin village crap. The rent a mobs come out and pull the rest of the local idiots out of the woodwork for a night of lawlessness and free looting. Most of these people don’t vote! They hate our system, or could not care less about it. The meanwhile, democrats are laying waste to their very own electoral strongholds. Think about that. They are willing to destroy their own voters tight out in open daylight all for the purposes of political power. People, I believe this with all of my heart. We are witnessing the death of the democrat party. Not leftists, mind you, but the DNC as a brand has been destroyed. If there is a grain of truth to the 41% black approval for Trump, after 4 more years it will be double that. That IS the end of the Democrat party. The people who “always voted democrat” are starting to tire of holding their noses. They are angry about politics and cannot defend the indefensible positions these whack jobs are putting forth. From the lockdowns to eliminating police forces, the democrats are pandering to a smaller and smaller sliver of society, hence the more radical positions. This craziness will no doubt elevate between now and November. Who will bail the DNC out this time? Joe does not have Clinton money and Booooorack is just a chump change agitator from Chicongo. Give the devils their due, they haven’t (so far) failed for lack of trying. The domestic and foreign forces — so broad even still they betray at least my ability to give them a name, arrayed against Trump spared no expense in every way, including near daily examples of Rubicon Crossing in terms of breaches in the Constitution, laws and traditions of this great republic.

There’s no need to explicate this for those here. When I comment I always try to come up with some contribution that I consider salient at the moment.

To paraphrase Ernest Hemingway, how did the Democrats and Allied Media discredit themselves, two ways, gradually and then suddenly.

Think about it, don’t you struggle to come up with a descriptive for how downright insane it is that the Democrats and Allied Media encouraged riots by telling those disoriented and angry about a pandemic lockdown to take to the streets to express their “rage,” months before a presidential election –to say nothing of turning the project over to “Reverend Al.”

Per my own version of your “Cold Anger,” throughout I’ve attempted to assess the state of their play.

The Resistance has moved in this current chapter from tragedy to farce.

All because, for all their sick but well orchestrated plans, they didn’t account for and couldn’t stop Trump from being a great POTUS.

On the immediate next few days. . . .

As you often point out, none of this is organic. But, as I do, with the internet, no one is fooling anyone anymore.

I’ll remind of what I mentioned when the three city funeral Passion Play was announced. After laying the predicate for blaming POTUS Trump for inciting social unrest (along with dogs and cats living together. . .***), the plan was for it to culminate on Monday with the four living presidents in attendance in Houston at the anti-Trump rally, er, George Floyd’s funeral.

That’s why Mattis was deployed. (Think about how deranged these people are that they use him as Cannon Fodder and he signs on to the plan!). That, along with some other moves, was designed to give Bush room to self-immolate as well.

They desperate need Bush. Without him, all hope is lost of any presence it isn’t a wholly partisan exercise.

Adding to their problems, Carter is 97 years old. Even if he is able to attend, there is no way to overcome the idea that he is being exploited*****

Bill’s attendance, which I think is assured, means ‘The Old Colostomy Bag’ Hillary as well. In a word, there goes the narrative!

I used to believe that, whatever else you might say about any of these characters, they didn’t reach such airy heights without being able to game such high stakes for themselves reasonably well. Mattis’ self-detonation was only the latest occasion for me to be disabused of such naivety. So, while it seems a no-brainer at this point for Bush to stay away, if anything the odds are against him doing so.

Just as the odds favor them dragging poor Jimmy Carter there without nary a concern about his health and well-being, to say nothing of the self-defeating exploitative optics that they cannot overcome.

      Ditto with Bill and Hillary.

It seems clear as day to me that whatever their nefarious anti-Trump hopes, at this point their best strategy is for none of the former presidents to attend. While, as my above comments attest, it isn’t the worst outcome for them, Obama carrying the ball alone without the others is less disastrous than the alternative combinations.

Though if that turns out to be the case Obama is betting what’s left of his tattered legacy on Trump losing in November.

So if hundreds can attend the funeral of a stranger why can’t I attend a funeral of a loved one, visit an ailing relative in the hospital or rest home, attend the birth of my own child, go to the zoo, attend a baseball game, or go to a concert? Why if the virus does not transmit from surfaces must restaurants, bars and swimming pools be subject to these ridiculous cleaning cycles? Why, if the virus is contagious where you are in an enclosed space with someone who sneezes or coughs on you for a period of 10 minutes to 1/2 hour are we all walking around in masks or mandated to wear them in our daily lives? Why if in Ohio, for example in 2018 when we lost more people to the other flu than we have to this Wuhan virus, have we created a situation where 1.8 mill people in a state of 8.8 mil are now on unemployment with a death toll 2,300. That’s right, a state of 8.8 million people with a death toll of 2,300.

Well unfortunately, our political and media class is again sending the message that certain of us have more cultural power than others. This is a recipe for disaster not “hope and change”. This is a recipe for division and not unity of purpose. Our political and media class want us divided. They want us to hate each other. They gain power from that. They gain influence from that. And they enrich themselves by that.

Pam’s comments regarding funerals is important. We must continue to point out the hypocrisy of these actions over and over again. It forces the left to acknowledge that they create arbitrary rules, laws and decrees to fit their objectives.

My mother in law passed away on March 5th. Previously determined to be cremated since our home church and cemetery is in North Carolina. Waited to get a time To schedule a memorial and burial service. Finally going later this month. But….the church that can hold 200 is limited by the Governor’s arbitrary rules to no more than 10 people. Outdoors no more than 25. Insane. The worst part is how leadership at various denominations (including this one) joins these leftists in supporting their church closures. We are a long way from the courage of previous bold religious leaders.

The stupid runs deep in the left. They survive by keeping disparate groups of people outraged incessantly. After Team Parasite stocks up on flat screens, blenders and such eventually they’ll exhaust their ability for outrage. The problem for the left is when the mob turns inward and as is typical with these self-entitled cretins, they mess their own beds. Look at the condition of the blue hives.

When the country snaps back and it will, the blue hives will be in disarray and will lag behind. Then like the kept children that they are will demand the Deplorable Army foot-the-bill after they’ve pillaged, raped and killed. To which a resounding “NO!” …needs to be heard. Force these Bum Herders in the blue hives to fix their own messes, or not. Once the mobs surround city hall they will scream for help, as these feral animals burn it down. Allow the left to stew in their own juices this will be instructive for even the dullest wit.

Our Great President Trumps wants what’s best for all people, no matter your color or creed. And contrary to popular belief has played the Anger Games well, allowing state and local governments to own the lunacy. As large swaths of the country begin to recover and the blue hives languish in their created dilapidated despair, watch out.
