Umm, Dan, they aren’t surprised. It’s *exactly* what they want. The only “surprise” might be how well it’s working for them.

I agree with your notion of repeating the message, and maybe it will catch someone’s attention and lead them to the “red pill”.

But I think couching it as that the “elite” are “surprised” by it all is just plain misleading as well as seemingly naive. More accurate would be to repeat the message that the “elite’s” are pleased with their “child” that they have raised.

I don’t grok how saying they are “surprised” by it all is helpful.

If anything, it relieves them of some responsibility – just like when Ted Cruz asks Rod Rosenstein, “Either you were complicit in a coup attempt against the president, or you were grossly negligent. Which one was it?“, what he’s *really* doing is giving Rosenstein an “out” by allowing him to feign “incompetence” instead of pinning “complicit” on him – Bongino likewise gives the “elites” an “out” by allowing a claim of “surprise” that the results are what they are, when, come on now, it’s *exactly* what they want.

I don’t know about just the elite. It is surprising to read how many middle class conservative people writing in comment sections have democrat children, keep democrat friends, and, really, depending where they live, are afraid to let people in their neighborhoods know they are conservative. However, even in inner cities conservative minorities proudly hale their conservative values without any problems. The inner city are I am familiar with is Los Angeles. But then, those in the inner city in LA aren’t afraid to kick someone butt if challenged. Now in those people in the Los Angeles suburbs would not put a TRUMP 2020 sign in their yards if you paid them to do it even though a lot of them will vote for them.

Hey iswhatitis, just my two cents. There are evil power brokers on the left, and there are those who mean well who are foolish and don’t realize the toxic seeds they’ve been planting and watering. While the evil ones are irredeemable, there is hope for some of the foolish ones waking up. These latest episodes of chaos are indeed distressing and eye-opening to some of the heretofore foolish ones.

Liberal brains function different than conservative brains. They are inherently incapable of processing information as it is ‘in reality.’ Instead, their brains transform information to justify, or suit, if you will, their emotional needs. WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE.

They cannot ‘link’ leftist indoctrination of children since 1970s with the current political culture. Or see it for what is.

It is a mental survival instinct – REALITY is in their face but their brains twist facts to suit a desired outcome.

I recently read an explanation about the liberal psychosis explained by Jean Paul Sartre (himself a liberal). I finally understood- after struggling with this for years- that the problem lies in how a liberal processes information.

For example, the statistics related to crime and police killings are clear, there is NO systemic racism in the United States. The numbers are NOT there. But a liberal cannot process these FACTS and accept IT AS A TRUE FACT because their brains do not and cannot allow their FALSE REALITY TO CRUMBLE. It is a survival instinct. They must keep their FALSE VERSION of reality alive. And worse, they don’t even know it is false.

I imagine some/many have a Helen Keller moment, and they now see. Candace Owens talks about how she used to be a liberal. David Horowitz- the same. I surmise it maybe a mental survival mechanism – similar to the mechanism that creates split personalities after serious trauma. But I leave cause and diagnosis to experts in the field.

Bottom line, we are dealing with a huge problem and we have few good, practical solutions.

(Ponder this- how can anyone justify slavery? The savagery of slavery. How can anyone justify child sexual abuse? It is beyond comprehension. And yet, we fought a WAR in this country where the RATS died to defend their right to own other human beings. And then there’s the matter of Epstein and that went on for how many years??? This is the liberal mind).

Kids learn about the very real screw ups, corruption, election meddling, and coup attempts led and covered up by the cia, etc. What they don’t learn is that those that planned, executed, and buried these actions on behalf of our government had communist ties. ( See the writings of Dianna West.)

They blame it on the US government, rather than the individuals in powerful government positions, and their idiology. They can’t imagine that communists would plan, execute, and coverup mass murders of their fellow travelers. (See Indonesia 1966) They blame the government rather than the communist infil-Traitors within our government.

So, the grandparents are complicit, yet bury their own role in rhetoric of government hatred, as they raise a new generation of antigovernment activists, who raise a generation of their own.

As noted by sundance, the 3 funerals/5 state could be the Wellstone moment for this current episode. But what if the current 9-10 day, 50 state, 100-200 cities activities are the Wellstone memorial? We should know in a couple weeks. Even they can’t maintain this level of energy for much longer. And I would think that even the most looney of looney blue mayors and governors couldn’t possibly return to the wear a mask and enforced social distancing with a straight face.

I find it hard to believe, that the austerity of enforced social distancing with little community interaction followed immediately (within hours) by 1,000s of folks in close quarters and violent actions would be missed be even the stupidest of “regular” democrat voters.

Brent, I’m in Scottsdale AZ/outside of Phoenix. Our fairly small city was looted and damaged terribly in several areas. Scottsdale is a what I would call a conservative town, but as I was grocery shopping this evening I noticed about 75% of the people still had ridiculous masks on! It was almost 110 degrees today which makes matters worse. After everything that’s happened over the past several days, people still believe they must wear masks! It is incomprehensible in my opinion.

I’m in north Florida in a conservative area. Mask wearing hasn’t been big here, about 50/50 at best. However, all the stores required their employees to wear masks.

Since the riots started, the masks have come off all but a very small number of employees. I’m talking 1 or 2 at a couple of stores. I won’t name them because I believe some still have corporate policies mandating masks, but here at least they’re gone.

As for the public, I’d say about 10% are wearing masks. My husband and I have deemed masks liberal identification devices.

I am so glad that President Trump fired John Kelly – Melania had a horrible time with Mira Ricardel who had been brought in by John Bolton – Melania, dear First Lady, wanted Ricardel fired, John Kelly minimized Melania’s concerns – what a total azz he is –

so Ricardel got fired and then John Kelly left not long after that – finally, John Bolton was fired too, eventually –

one thinks, why did our President even have to go through their time-wasting BS –

well, by the grace of God, he is stepping up to every challenge – he gives people chances but if they really love their globalist agenda or me-me-me agenda, then they need to leave.

We pray for President Trump all through the day, every time we see him on tv, dear God, please put another puff of wind in his sails, somehow he has to know there are millions of us out here who love him and appreciate everything he does.

Once the business owners that are left after COVID find out, they’ll simply close up shop and leave. They’re go the jobs! Next, come the people who support the infrastructure; water, roads, telecom and cell. As those things are broken or destroyed in riots and the support folks realize there are no cops that can protect them if they try and repair them, they’ll bail next. Once the kiddies realize they don’t have cell service to post their woke videos, they’ll wonder why, then they’ll try and call support, then support will tell them ‘sorry, we can’t service your area'”. Total time? 14 days or less.

A few minutes later, when Negrete dared look again, from every direction, there were hundreds of people barreling toward them in a scene she depicted as “pandemonium.” There were cars speeding up to the center – including brand new luxury Mercedes SUVs and Infiniti vehicles – with trunks popping open ready to be filled with loot, and while it was mostly young men, every ethnicity and age assaulted the building before her eyes.

Much more at the link, reminds me of Venezuela for some reason

Nope. The demostooges don’t know another way. The last hope for California was Schwarzenegger. When he betrayed everyone but the Teacher’s Union, who had went after him with a vengeance, voters lost all Trust in Republicans.

Depends on how much voter fraud “they” can get away with. Pres Trump might not win CA in November, but there would be many, many more Republican victories.

Truth is the Globalist believed they could get away with their scam . They believed they had the clout to publish anything they wanted. Perhaps they need to scrape that old plan of having some azzhole from Harvard has the starting point. They outskicked their coverage. Just add them to the endless list of corrupt organizations in the medical field. Then again it might be easier for you to have a list of the good since it will much shorter and easier to maintain. CDC/WHO/NIH/Lancet/NEJM can all be scratched for sure.

Hey Treepers, I love you! I’m mostly a lurker here, occasionally commenting. I come here for a deeper nourishment than I get at other sites.

I made a video a couple weeks ago, before all the rioting madness, about our President. I think some of you might enjoy.

(I used to use the handle “Lucidian” here, but there’s no point in anonymity any more for me.)

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Andrew, your video here is absolutely great. I went on to watch your others too.

If people are not watching it right now, it may be because of discouragement, or it may be that they have become somewhat addicted to the fearporn and voyeuristic excitement of rioting or addicted to righteous indignation at same.

This is no reflection on your work. Kudos!

Andrew, You are right. Trump is such a strong male. In a sane world, everyone would see it and be grateful for him. He needs some good back up though, not all these wannabe deep state players. Trump is also a patriot.
I deeply regret the Bush family years and the Clinton/ Obama leadership as well.

If you added some background video to go along with what you say it would be even better. A lot of youtube watchers normally pass by people just talking without video or background music.

People who don’t know Manhattan have no idea of the amount of stores that you’ve/I’ve never heard of and the value of stuff they have inside. In the past I have often walked midtown and down Manhattan and I always ran into more and more “high-end” stores. There are non-stop stores all down the avenues but also all along the cross streets. No matter how it started, in the end it is a chase for money. Stealing. And enabled by your local politicians.

Many of these are independent stores so I don’t expect a lot of them to bounce back like big corporate stores.

The evil left today are masters at duping millions.

Police funding and even their survival in some cities will obviously be a major issue in the Presidential election.

The saying “Giving them an inch and they’ll tale a mile” can be updated in 2020 to “Take a knee and they’ll still take your job.”

Unfortunately, some of the well-meaning police that took a knee of submission to the protest movement led by BLM and anti-fa might lose their jobs during the left’s latest Fad to “Defund the Police.” This policy is in the anti-fa Manifesto and it’s already gaining traction in minds of the easily intimidated Dem politicians.

When Colin Kaepernick took a knee and disrespected the flag and the anthem, it led to greater wealth and fame in the left. The kneeling police that could be laid off will just get a pink slip and whatever their retirement package will provide.
