Going All-In: Minneapolis City Council Considers Disbanding Entire Police Force…

Once you understand the larger objectives, everything becomes a sequence of predictable events. The term “community policing” has been used for several years by groups advocating for radical changes to law enforcement; however, behind the innocuous phrase is really a much more serious agenda.

If each community can determine the enforcement of law, then essentially all communities can eliminate the underlying law itself. Remove local enforcement of law and the local community can independently assemble a social structure separate from all other binding contracts that frame a larger societal compact.  [Brian Fallon Tweet Link]

This “community policing” process is already taking place in many European communities the results create what are known as “no go zones.” Neighborhoods, and entire parts of cities, where local Sharia compliance enforcement officers have replaced the police force; and the rules, regulations and enforcement are detached from the larger social compact. Considering that Minneapolis has a large concentration of Somali Muslims within the local population, it makes sense this approach is now discussed for their city.

Minneapolis – […] Now the council members are listening to a city that is wounded, angry, fed up with decades of violence disproportionately visited upon black and brown residents. Various private and public bodies – from First Avenue to Minneapolis Public Schools – have essentially cut ties with the police department. Council members are trying to figure out what their next move is.

Their discussion is starting to sound a little more like what groups like Reclaim the Block and the Black Visions Collective have been saying for years. On Tuesday, Fletcher published a lengthy Twitter thread saying the police department was “irredeemably beyond reform,” and a “protection racket” that slows down responses as political payback.

“Several of us on the council are working on finding out what it would take to disband the Minneapolis Police Department and start fresh with a community-oriented, nonviolent public safety and outreach capacity,” he wrote. (read more)

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, the man now in charge of the prosecution of Derek Chauvin and the Minneapolis police officers involved in George Floyd’s death, is a very well known Muslim activist and supporter of the sharia doctrine.

There is no better confluence of timing, location, and sentiment to achieve the agenda of the far-left than right now – with the opportunity George Floyd represents.

Brian Fallon was Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager; and is now a leading member of the resistance movement serving as Executive Director for Demand Justice.

The police are not willing to go full Brownshirt for these tyrants, so cutting off police funding and redistributing to Antifa makes sense. It’s a two-fer. They cripple the police from interfering AND fund their own operations.

For G-d’s sake connect the dots…this is planned. Why is Obama front and center again?
1)…In Jan 2008, when elected – IN HIS FIRST WEEK IN OFFICE, Obama joined KEITH ELLISON and the Congressional Muslim Staffer’s Association, to coordinate the fast-tracking of 300+ Muslims into his administration and Pentagon. Obama and Ellison immediately began working together.
2)…On July 2, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Obama said he would like a national CIVILIAN SECURITY FORCE as big as all our entire military branches. He waited, but wasn’t able to do it at the time.
3)…Obama’s man – Keith Ellison – is NOW in charge in Minnesota, presiding over a “police” crisis.
4)…State Attorney General Keith Ellison, the mayor of Minneapolis, and Keith Ellison’s son (who is on the Minneapolis City Council), have ALL called for the DIS-MANTLING of the Minneapolis Police Department, and have floated the idea or ridding other parts of Minnesota from a police presence.
5)…The media, and Leftists are asking, “How could there be ‘no police’ – what could replace them?”
6)…The answer has been KNOWN for over a decade – they simply needed time to position their players and public officials, and to wait patiently for a major crisis. BLM has now propagandized the public, and the public has been drawn in by this deception, and is a willing but blind partner in this new chaos.
By Ellison overcharging Chauvin, the cop may be conveniently released. It’s morbidly evil, but that’s what the Left wants/needs – they want this crisis to explode even further, so NO demand will be too onerous or bold, to fulfill their objectives – which is defeat Trump, destroy our American system and way of life, and replace it with a regime like the one that has kept America in lockdown for months.
7)…Today, the mainstream media, Minnesotans, and other U.S. states are asking, “Where do we go from here?” To any intelligent observer, the answer is obvious…as well as foreboding.

Defunding police depts. Will lead to vigilante groups meting out justice. The groups can be organized and structured or loose knit groups. Communities could hire pvt. security groups to police their neighborhoods and make arrests. Doing away with a govt. Police agency does not mean doing away with laws. Someone has to enforce the laws or we have anarchy. Citizens are not going to support anarchy.

Nothing is going wrong. It’s all going perfectly according to the plans from the 1800s for one world government in Jerusalem. What’s happening now in the US is very similar to what happened in Russia in the 1910s. When there’s a red heifer they;ll build the 3rd Temple and install Satan as ruler of the earth and king of the false jews. The goyim are already fully trained to worship the false jews and to believe whatever a false jew tells a goy because false jews are like the gods of this earth, according to our entertainment and news media and all our schools from pre-kindergarten to post-doctorate. Corona-scam proves how susceptible the herd has become to their junk science and fake science.

They fool you with a false dichotomy to divide and conquer. it’s not about right versus left, it’s about good versus evil. Who was the first historical figure to speak out against the evil of the people who call themselves jews? Our lord and saviour was the first and when Easter worship was canceled because of the corona hoax i feared he might be the most succcessful anti-jew as we as a world submit to jewish rulership,

Are there other Christians who can resurrect Christianity as a counter and opposition to the fake-jewish rulers? ‘m doubtful.

If you have an enemy who is so powerful that very few even dare to mention their name, what are the chances of deposing their rule?

All property/casualty insurance policies cancelled. Residents realize some savings in lower property/sales taxes with this amt going to new neighborhood fund for these new services. But…..fund balance not enough since have to pay salaries of new community antidiscrimination/diversity organizers, and income inequality analysts. And…need to find jobs for occasional new college grads w/diversity and victimology degrees. Also have to self fund neighborhood property/casualty insurance. 5. walt39 says:

Okay, time to be serious for a moment about the idea of Minneapolis deciding to disband its police force.

Minnesota is a ‘Dillon Rule State’ that has granted many cities ‘home rule’ charters. Minneapolis is one of those. Accordingly it has broad powers to establish its laws and the mechanisms by which they’re to be enforced.

The details are complicated and I’m not going to research them.

    1. State laws would still be in force. Those MIGHT require a police department. State criminal law certainly would still apply and could be enforced by state authorities.

    2. The state constitution would apply. State constitutions codify rights of residents and a Minneapolis Sharia-based law (just as an example) allowing honor killings or beating your wife (both okay under Sharia provided the rules are followed) would doubtless be unconstitutional as well as a violation of state statutes.

    3. The U.S. Constitution would also remain in effect. So, for example, the Bill of Rights would apply and violations (Sharia is MOSTLY violations of the Bill of Rights!) would be unconstitutional even if not so under the state constitution.

Changing the arrangements for enforcing law within Minneapolis might well be possible. (Something like block committees reporting to a central authority OTHER THAN an elected mayor for example.) The problems would arise when specific enforcement actions were used (say stoning to death or honor killing) or when procedures required to comply with constitutional requirements (‘due process’ as required by the Bill of Rights and detailed in case law).was an issue.

I don’t think anything that would satisfy the nutcases talking about this could be done. The city unmistakably has the power to elect new authorities and choose new leadership for its police as well as to give them new guidelines and training for the use of force. Several cities are already doing this informally — Baltimore, for example: The police just don’t enforce laws that make the people in that area mad. The result is that businesses move out, white people don’t go there, large institutions hire and supervise their own police forces, and so on. Liberals pretty much like this stuff, people who live or work in those areas don’t, and there isn’t yet a final answer.

The root problem is that liberals really don’t like having to live with laws that go beyond “What I want right now!” There’s no way to make such people happy within a larger society and if the whole of society is given over to lawlessness (as they seem to want), EVERYONE will be miserable.

No telling how this winds up.

North Carolina is a Dillon Rule state. I know of no such “charters” but do know that the bigger and more affluent cities routinely exceed and assume authorities not granted to them by the State. They do this through high paid lobbyists/lawyers and select judicial rulings to establish the precedent they need.

This nullification of Dillons Rule here is highly funded from outside the state and is crucual in pushing the globalist agendas like urbanization. Think global, act local.

For example, Charlotte NC’s bathroom bill which allowed male perverts into girls restrooms and locker rooms was clearly a power not granted by the State. Instead of taking Charlotte to the State Supreme court under Dillon’s rule, the Republican legislature passed a bill prohibiting a power that already was not granted. I called as many legislators and staffers who would talk to me telling them not to pass the Bill, to invoke Dillons Rule. Sadly no one I talked to knew what Dillons rule was.

    • jaxnix says:

This is one of several found – all stating the same:

      What is the Dillon Rule?
The Dillon Rule is used in interpreting law when there is a question of whether or not a local government has a certain power. Lawyers call it the rule of statutory construction.
Dillon’s Rule construes grants of power to localities very narrowly. The bottom law is — if there is a question about a local government’s power or authority, then the local government does NOT receive the benefit of the doubt. Under Dillon’s Rule, one must assume the local government does NOT have the power in question.
In legal language, the first part of Dillon’s Rule reads like this: Local Governments have only three types of powers: 1.) Those granted in express words; 2.) Those necessarily or fairly implied in or incident to the powers expressly granted; and 3.) Those essential to the declared objects and purposes of the corporation, not simply convenient, but indespensible.
It is the second part of the Dillon Rule, however, that puts the vise on local government’s powers. This part states that if there is any reasonable doubt whether a power has been conferred on a local government, then the power has NOT been conferred. This is known as the rule of local government powers.

“We will defund cops and give it to the people”
My point is that the tax funds ARE shrinking and WILL dry up.
Just cuz they say (spin) the funds will be diverted doesn’t mean there will be funds to divert.

Movement to defund police gains ‘unprecedented’ support across US

“A snapshot of some of city budget debates that have escalated this week:

Los Angeles: the police budget is $1.8bn, and the mayor has for weeks been pushing for raises and bonuses for officers and an overall 7% increase that would make the budget more than half of the general fund. But on Wednesday, he said he was now looking to make cuts to the police budget.

New York: The mayor is pushing to leave the NYPD’s nearly $6bn budget intact while slashing education and youth programs and cutting other agencies by as much as 80%.

Philadelphia: The mayor has proposed spending $977m on police and prisons, which is 20% of the general fund. A $14m increase for police comes as the city is cutting funding for youth violence prevention, arts and culture, workforce development, and laying off staff at recreation centers and libraries.”

    Tucker excellent tonight.
He identifies what all this is actually about–removing Trump.

What I hope Tucker devotes an entire program to THE REAL REASON THE POLS WANT TO REMOVE TRUMP.

For too long, the opposition–and that opposition comes from pols, from busines and industry, from the military, from the CIA, from the FBI–has tried to pass off the notion that their hatred of him is du to his style, his directness, his entire personality. Indeed Trump’s unusual style has given them a handy excuse. “He’s un-Presidential, ” they cry, and even the reasonable among us often agree, “Yes, he doesn’t fit my understanding of ‘Presidential'”

However, we here at CTH understand WHY they hate him. Sundance has written any number of posts explaining that. They reduce to “TRILLIONS ARE AT STAKE,”

Plus, as we know, status and positions of power and reputations are at stake. The freedom of many is at stake, as revelations of their crimes could lead to prison. God only knows what the Cia has done that requires they take down Trump.

All this is what has to be revealed to the people. This notion of “It’s just his manner we hate” has to be shown to be the cover it is and I’m afraid we can’t wait for Barr or Durham.

Come on, Tucker, do it. You have to tell your audience that Donald Trump threatens those who are desperate to take him down and they have been willing to sacrifice your lives, the lives of your family and the domestic tranquility of your daily lives in order to fool you into thinking Trump is the reason for all this.

To do this, you have to identify “The REAL REASONTHEY HATE HIM.”

As unfortunate as it would be for the good citizens on Minneapolis, perhaps such a bizarre social experiment as disbanding the police could have profoundly positive results, given the subsequent, unrestricted violence and property destruction that would ensue and be directly attributable to the leftist ideology. It could be a valuable, national lesson learned.

I anticipate the sacrosanct “communities of color” would suffer the worst of it and shortly be screaming for help. Minneapolis is a ****hole that should be plowed over. JMO

If Minneapolis and their lefty loser politicians want to disband their police force, I also say go ahead. It will be an interesting experiment. After the bodies start piling up when the lawlessness reaches it zenith, then we can evaluate it with statistics. Of course, many parts of the city may end up completely uninhabitable, but as the commies like to say, you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

    This is insanity.

Black behavior brings the police down on them. It’s the squeaky wheel getting the grease. Behave yourself and you won’t have trouble with the police.

This is fantastic and it is brilliant! The next time I go into afib, I’ll just fire my cardiologist! Thanks Minneapolis! No more ablations for me. I’m cured!

I think this is a great idea! Let Minneapolis be the guinea pig for this concept!

Funny that the Floyd incident took place in the geopolitical area that could most take advantage of it. Luck?

Police Officers do not grow on trees; we get them from general society. When our culture and the well we drink from is socially polluted we get some bad Cops. Just like bad Lawyers, Car Salesman, Doctors who commit fraud with Medicare, and on and on. Our society is SICK, so don’t be shocked if we get sick Cops. It is simply a byproduct of our crap**y, morally bankrupt Schools, and Homes.

By all means let’s defund the police. We will all learn the value of our 2nd Amendment Rights.

Interesting that OIAA funds Reclaim The Block. They are both NGO’s. Who funds these, George Soros? Reclaim The Block has this stated purpose:

“Reclaim the Block began in 2018 and organizes Minneapolis community and city council members to move money from the police department into other areas of the city’s budget that truly promote community health and safety.”

Likewise the OIAA> Black Vision Collective is “A Minnesota organization that promotes Black leadership while pursuing a commitment to dismantling systems of oppression and violence”

Conveniently the MSP Police Chief allowed his 3rd precinct to be burned down by rioters.
Odd how witness saw a cop start the MSP riots by breaking out Autozone’s windows.
Strange how City Council now plans to defund the Police Department.
Just a coincidence that George Floyd and officer Derek Chauvin worked at the same bar as bouncer/security for 25 years.
Never mind the date on the videos of the death of George Floyd were being changed.
Just a coincidence that George Floyd was COVID19 positive and on methamphetamine and also fentanyl which kills by shutting down respiration.
Ignore that there were conflicting autopsy causes of death or that Dr. Michael Baden did one of them.
Ignore that a person cannot be “strangled” by kneeling on one side of the neck.

Anything Muslim is anti American. They hate America, except for living here and enjoying our freedom. Give them their way and then what do they have. A country like the one’s that they left.
