US welcomes PH decision to suspend VFA termination

‘ MANILA, Philippines — The United States on Tuesday welcomed the move of the Philippines to suspend the termination of the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA), adding that it looks forward to the two nations’ continued security and defense cooperation.
“On June 1, the Government of the Philippines notified the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines of its decision to suspend termination of the Visiting Forces Agreement,” the embassy said in a statement

South China Sea would still be gone as one has to be willing to use force in order to deter the current Dragon. The PLA has been very open with their aims:
        1. Secure minerals on floor of SEA.
        2. Secure South China Coast, that is why pulling the plug on Hong Kong financial status is needed. Hong Kong port, air and communications facilities will become the prime base of operations, thank you Western Powers for the free, in-place major facilities.
        3. Put SSM in range of Japanese mainland.
        4. Make aid to Taiwan a Frontal Assault with a single lane of approach.
        5. Keep building towards the Malacca Straits, major commercial sea traffic choke point in Asia.

As always there’s more to this than meets the eye. Third world politics is never clear – and the corrupt media with worldwide influence just makes everything muddier. Long explanation warning….

President Duterte made one of his promises during his election to wage war on the huge drug problem in the Philippines. And he has been delivering on his promises. This is a messy war on drugs. All ranks of the police, the army, judges and some of the politicians are behind the drug business, providing muscle , protection and influence. And unfortunately some to many of the killings were allegedly extra-judicial – but with so much influence against prosecuting offenders how could they do it? Especially if they shoot back. (I’m not condoning this, just giving their side.)

One lawmaker prosecuted was Philippine Senator de Lima, whose case even the Philippine Supreme Court has decided is valid and should go on. There are reports of Senator de Lima partying with the drug lords in jail!

In 2016 Pres Duterte first threatened leaving the Visiting Forces Agreement because the Millennium Challenge Corporation – a US aid giving body – did not renew its grant to the Philippines over the alleged human rights violations. The MCCorp actually has a scorecard for each country!

Then there’s the “Asia Reassurance Initiative Act, an American law passed in 2018 that imposes financial penalties and visa ban sanctions on foreign individuals and entities involved in violations of human rights or religious freedoms, and censorship activities.”

With all this the US suspended the US Visa of Philippine Senator “Bato” (nickname for stone like Rocky) delRosa. DelaRosa was the police chief that coordinated Pres Duterte’s war on drugs early on. The US visa was for DelaRosa to watch boxer Manny Pacquiao during one of his boxing matches in Las Vegas.

Then we had some of the US Senators meddling in what is viewed as an open and shut /slam dunk case -” “In a resolution, Sens. Rubio, Edward Markey of Massachusetts, Richard Durbin of Illinois, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, and Christopher Coons of Delaware described De Lima as “a prisoner of conscience” who was “detained solely on account of her political views and the legitimate exercise of her freedom of expression.” This makes one wonder what these good senators connections are with the drug trade in the Philippines….

“Malacañang responded by telling the senators to “mind their own business” and reminding them that the Philippines is “not under the dominion of the United States of America or any of its high-ranking officials.” ” I don’t know about you – but I think the Philippines had the right to say, “don’t meddle”.

With all this – I’m sure there’s been communication between Pres Duterte and Pres Trump. Pres Duterte gets his political points (especially with the masses), Pres Trump gets his saving for unnecessary expenditures. This move by Pres. Duterte is very popular among the Filipinos.

I voted in the Indiana primary yesterday. Got in yesterday morning from a run to KC, MO hauling Toyota replacement parts out and 39,000 lb. of bags of pizza dough mix back for Casey’s country stores, and after taking care of business at the terminal went straight to my polling place.

While I was gone the scum tried to sack our WalMart in Anderson, IN and got beaten badly by our local cops who were there waiting on them.

Also while I was gone my friend and neighbor Steve sprayed the northern exposures of my house for mold. Said he had done his own and had plenty left over in his back pack sprayer so he did mine. Even though it had only been on one night and it hadn’t rained the difference is already noticeable.

Steve had made some homemade breaded tenderloin and gave me some. I made sandwiches and added some macaroni salad my wife had made ate those, took out my trash and that of the widow lady next door to the road for pickup because if I didn’t do it Steve would and her can was really heavy this time, and then fed the birds, kicked the wife and kissed the dog, and went to bed to get ready to be called again.

I woke at 20:30 and stayed up for a couple hours catching up on the news on the computer and then hit the sack again. Up again at 04:30 and ready for the call if it comes.

I’ve been doing some thinking about what is going on. And last night put some of my thoughts down in response to this post at WUWT:
“Claim: George Floyd Protests Are Linked to Climate Change”
“Well they are connected! The connection is people and institutions. The same ones that support the catastrophic climate change meme also support ANTIFA, BLM, and try to facilitate or cover for their criminal acts. This covers Hollywood/entertainers, academics, government and the press.
They are pretty much organized as a classic resistance movement. They are also the same ones that hate Trump and any conservatives with a passion.
Command and funding – democrats and their supporters
Guerrillas (Military/paramilitary arm)- ANTIFA and BLM
      Indoctrinators – Academia
Auxiliary (lends needed support for guerrillas and/02 underground) – Hollywood/entertainers
Propogandists – The MSM and various other leftist media.”

The pro-Trump Daniels (Bikers for Trump, Purple heart, wounded in Afghanistan) narrowly lost. The reason was the liberal professor, assigned by the liberal State Supreme Court to draw up the congressional map, put the two metro areas of Scranton and Wilkes-barre in the district to dominate the rural areas and make a formally Republican area a Democrat area. Daniels got crushed in the cities, but won all the rural areas.

Where there was a violation of one’s fourth amendment rights by federal officials, A Bivens action can be filed against federal law enforcement officials for damages, resulting from an unlawful search and seizure. Under the Bivens action, the claimant needs to prove that there has been a constitutional violation of fourth amendment rights by federal officials acting under the color of law.

    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/06/02/june-2nd-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1230/comment-page-1/#comment-8288610)

Note: Most of the WBTW related social media accounts are covering coronavirus, politics, or illegal alien crimes. We will probably be in a quiet period regarding wall content until the next project(s) are near completion.
The praises (much of which are older news) have been provided for those who wish to give thanks for them before praying for the wall prayer requests. I may add to, trim back, or simplify from time to time as projects/events progress or come to completion. If there is any new wall news I’ll list them in the update below. Otherwise, feel free to page down or scroll past.

Monday night update – 6/1/20 – (See link above.)
Note: Today’s posts cover the location of Fisher’s 1.28B, 42 mile project, awarded on May 6.
The project “starts near Nogales and runs west for 38 miles along the Coronado National Forest and Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge until it reaches the eastern boundary of the Tohono O’odham Nation, with small breaks separating the segments.”
“Another 4 miles of wall will go up about 10 miles east of Nogales. A section of wall measuring two-tenths of a mile will go up at or near the Santa Cruz River.”

    – 2 CBP maps showing Fisher’s 1.28B, 42 mile project location in Arizona.
CBP map with larger view showing surrounding area, including the Tohono O’odham Nation reservation to the west.
CBP map of Fisher’s project location, enlarged and marked to show the individual segments/sections of the project.
Excerpts from 2 articles about Fisher’s project location.

    – 2 Google maps of same location. One map is in “map” mode and the other map is in “terrain” mode. Users may zoom in/out to see different views of the surrounding towns, cities, or terrain. Compare with above CBP maps for location of Fisher’s 42 mile project.

    Tuesday night update – 6/2/20

    – Just posting the prayer post today.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Sunland Park, NM)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***PRAISE: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
Fisher receives $268M; another $132M could be added if all options in contract are exercised, totalling $400M… or $8.6 to $13M per mile)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.
Project: Yuma (Wellton Station) Border Wall System

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to “shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.”
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 2 complete: Feb 17)… Fisher Industries was able to build 3.5 miles of wall along the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas. Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain.

***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***PRAISE: 🧱 (5/6/20)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $1.28B border wall contract to build 42 miles of wall in southern Arizona, most of which will run from Nogales to the eastern boundary of the Tohono O’odham Nation. It’s the largest border wall contract that’s ever been awarded. The project includes seven (or 8?) segments and will be painted black.
Project: Tucson Package 3, (Complex terrain, which includes rugged mountains and water crossings)

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and health for the work crews and their families while they stay home during the temporary work shutdown; for safety and good weather for the work crews when they start up work again on Project 3, 4, 5… as well as the Federal 7.6M/800 foot, the 400M/31 mile, and the 1.28B/42 mile contracts for wall in Arizona; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned. (Backstory/timeline)
***Praise: (4/15/19)… Fisher Industries has been awarded a 7.6M contract modification to build 800 linear feet of 30-foot bollard barrier while the original 400M contract is still under review by the DoD IG’s office. My guess is this will give further evidence to the IG that Fisher Industries was justified in receiving the original 400M contract. (Details)
(Update: Fisher has built well beyond the initial 800 feet.)
***Praise:… Looks like work has already begun on this 31 mile project, despite the ongoing audit. Photos showing well over 800 feet of wall, started appearing around the end of April. No official word yet though.

    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that both sides would be able to resolve any issues and the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(May 6)… Positive developments in today’s hearing.
“Warner and Courtois sounded cautiously optimistic that engineers could work out any remaining problems.”
“In the meantime, the IBWC and Fisher Industries will review the hydraulic analysis.”
“Engineers with the United States section of the IBWC also sent hydraulic models to their counterparts in Mexico, who may offer comments or objections.”
“Attorney Javier Peña, who represents the butterfly association, said his client wanted to independently review the hydraulic model.”
“U.S. District Judge Randy Crane agreed to schedule a status conference in 60 days.”

    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier.)
    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
***Praise: (Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction/salvation(through faith in Christ Jesus) for the work crews, security personnel, legal teams, CBP, DHS, Army, National Guard and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, 5 and other private or federal projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that the design is sound and that WBTW/Fisher Industries are capable of safely and effectively building it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas
    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.

It doesn’t justify her call to police about a “threatening” black man but she might have made that call on a threatening white man as well.

Its not jonestown. They are not going to kill themselves. They are going to kill you.

The whole point of this exercise is to create the virtue signalling meme of kneeling in front of blacks to beg forgiveness for somehow failing to advance them despite decades of advantages they have been given, and mark my words you will see this more and more in media.

It is the same thing they did with masks. If you cant see this is a full court press to force you to your knees by all the enemies you have placed in various power positions through the years via voting your you are not paying attention. Why do you think this 3 day funeral thing is happening. It will have mass kneeling at every photo opportunity to signal that you should be doing it.

They now have enough media patterning to make this start to be a thing and you will become apartheid citizens in your own country while still being a majority.

Your future is wearing a mask kneeling on the ground and paying for your own servitude if you do not wake up.

He’s been the lead singer of his own successful band, the Foo Fighters, for a few decades now. He’s always struck me as having common sense, but I’m a fan.

Rock starfa used to come from simply backgrounds and get their start in garages, they were mostly working class guys with common sense. Now our music industry won’t even think about promoting a new act if they don’t have the correct way of thinking and aren’t willing to support debauchery. A lot of new stars are found on Youtube, where young acts end up becoming more and more outrageous in the quest for clicks.

The suburbs will be the next big test, next assault for Antifa. They have already destroyed the inner cities. Overwhelming force is all they understand and the suburbs are heavily armed unlike those who live in the inner cities with excessive gun control restrictions. Hopefully President Trump when he issues his EO declaring Antifa a terror organization will disrupt the financing and organization of Antifa preventing further rioting. If not the suburbs will defend their property using the 2nd Amendment if need be! It could go south very quickly if Antifa tries to destroy the suburbs with bricks and fire! Godspeed President Trump!

This may be the challenge of her lifetime. Kweisi Mfume held that seat for a decade before he left to head the NAACP in 1996. Then Cummings held it for more than two decades until his death in 2019. Mfume was just elected again in April to complete the term of Cummings. God bless Kimberly Klacik for trying.

That should be a lesson for Republican chairs around the country who don’t even bother putting up a Republican candidate in some districts. Shame on them.

This would be a perfect time to have a functional FBI and a functional Justice Department. What are we waiting for? Why not fix these institutions? Properly led, they could be formidable assets in the fight against domestic terrorism. Federal law allows them to do more than write strongly-worded letters and give terrific speeches at banquets. Somebody DM the President, he must not know this.

…rural south central Florida …nearest town is 15+ miles …went into town with my wife yesterday to look at upgrading her to a 9mm carry …stopped at Rural King in Lake Wales where I usually buy all my guns and ammo

…the entire gun shop area was emptied of everything but vacant display cases and shelves …nary a gun or ammo of any kind was available
…employee said they were ordered closed by the city because of the riots elsewhere

…it shocked me …to ‘protect’ me from looters, the government had removed my ABILITY to buy weapons and ammo to defend myself from such …I still had the RIGHT, just not the ability …went home, renewed my NRA membership …set aside extra cash to hit the local flea market this weekend where dealers are always present

…this in a county where the sheriff has made it abundantly clear he will not bring charges against any one who shoots a looter in defense of their person or property

…don’t know what is happening in the more urban areas but if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere …poof!! …you can keep and bear arms but you can’t buy or reload them 🤬 …has to be a better way.
