Secretary Wilbur Ross Discusses SpaceX Launch and U.S. Response to Increased Chinese Hostility Toward Hong Kong…

Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross contrasts the importance of the latest U.S. SpaceX launch in an era when China is increasingly expressing communist control over Hong Kong.  Within the interview Secretary Ross outlines the likelihood of an economic response toward Beijing to countermand aggressive geopolitical ambitions.

Shifting high-tech industrial manufacturing away from China, back to the United States, is an important component in the strategic U.S. economic approach.

From Secy. Ross’ somewhat cautious responses, it sounds like the Administration is still fine tuning an acceptable strategy to implement towards the PRC because of their latest offensive moves.

Or else the President already has a strategy but timing its announcement or implementation for maximum leverage and impact (I would bet on this option).

I think part of this has to do with our
Hong Kong Policy Laws (last updated in 2019). https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?path=/prelim@title22/chapter66&edition=prelim

Secretary of State, Treasury & Commerce have to Report declarations to Congress. Pompeo did his today. I think it’s pretty unseemly to make that announcement to the press, prior to Congressional Leadership. After the announcements go to Congress, the President has 15 days to report what he plans. All actions are in the hands of the President via Executive Orders.

CongressCritters are doing a Kabuki dance about what THEY will do .
It’s smoke and mirrors … President Trump has the authority already.

“We were paying the Russians $83M per seat” to ferry our astronauts to our Space Station, since 2011 when Obama out-sourced our space launch capabilities.

    Russia, Russia, Russia.

    U1
Tell Vlady I’ll have more flexibility after the election
Let’s rely on Russia to ferry our astronauts to space

    China, China, China

Let’s rely on China for 5G, plus all our high tech manufacturing
Let’s continue gain of function bio-weapon virology research through our CCP partners in Wuhan, since Homeland Security outlawed in the US.

I, too, was blind to all of this sabotage by the Obama Administration to American interests, until Trump was elected and called attention to them for those who will listen to him. I was also blind to the Vaccine Lobby and its ownership of the CDC, NIAID, FDA and AMA and Congress and now State Legislatures that are denying parents the right to refuse childhood vaccinations for their children, in order to enroll in school.

TDS is causing a polarization akin to the Civil War, and the bad guys are destroying themselves by clarifying exactly what it is they require. I wish President Trump weren’t so supportive of the vaccine movement, which is corrupt to its core.

The summary is readable but the attached white paper is too long for these old tired eyes.
If you are familiar with its contents, a summary would be very much appreciated.

President Barack Obama shut down NASA space flights and turned the agency “into a Muslim outreach department.” That SOB has quite a legacy, he nearly destroyed America.
