Navarro Hints President Trump Likely to Lower Hammer on China…

White House Trade and Manufacturing Advisor Peter Navarro has a good discussion with Martha MacCallum about the economy, White House economic policy and the focus in the aftermath of the COVID crisis to reemphasize an industrial resurgence in the U.S.

As Navarro outlines the focus of the administration policy is on Main Street and driving the main street economy that overwhelmingly benefits middle-class workers.

That said, when questioned about President Trump’s recent tone toward China, Navarro hints toward what many expect… President Trump is going to deliver a very deliberate, very strategic, very focused and very painful economic blow to Beijing.  WATCH:

And THIS is why the “Big Club” is being increasingly obvious in their clumsy attempts to take out the President before November! They are angry, desperate, and probably more than a little afraid that their free ride on the backs of the American taxpayer is not only coming to end but that once people actually see the depths of their corruption, heads may literally roll!!

China is the bigger enemy. And, China is partly a threat because they have allied so much with the US. –That alliance is why we keep getting told that Russia is a huge threat.

We are not dependent on Russia for trade like we are with China. We are not dependent on them for medical stuff. Russia’s army frankly is less of a threat. except that if the Russians invaded, they would find a lot more Mosin-Nagants lying around that they are familiar with, to pick up and use on us along the way, than the Chinese would find SKS.

That is about the only way Russia is a bigger threat.

I think we aught to promise China, very seriously, that if another “virus” comes out of China and attacks us, we will sterilize China.

I do not know if it is true or not but I believe that the outer shell of the corona virus is a delivery system, and China now can pack any virus they want to into it.

That Chinese woman who was working on her nasty virus delivery system in America is/was evil and Doctor Fauci too, he after all kept funding her with our money after we had kicked her out of our country. She worked long and hard to get the crone virus to be able to invade a human cell, and once she managed that she packed it with a “novel” virus. Novel meaning that no human being had any exposure to it and thus no human being had any immunity to it. That may be the wildest conclusion ever but I believe it and why I wish our government would make it clear to China that we will not tolerate them surviving another bio-weapon attack.

An executive order by President Trump of 500% tariffs on all Chinese goods should do the trick.

It would force American companies to leave China (and hopefully many of them would come back home instead of going to Vietnam or similar venues).

And it would have a positive effect on American jobs.

And every time we find that the Communist Chinese have stolen another United States military or industrial secret (no matter how tiny), we up the tariff by 100% more.

This is real-time, clash of civilizations, right before our eyes. The REAL trick is how PDJT keeps it from going kinetic.

That’s when the REAL reveal will happen. There will have to be a reveal of such magnitude that it breaks the building pressure for China to lash out, as the economic pain becomes more acute.

It happens EVERY time, before a kinetic war, there is acute economic hardship, deprivation of resources, or a combination of the two.

We are seeing BOTH occur before our eyes.

How will CHINA ultimately respond to the coming economic pain?

    THAT is the real question.

Therefore, the strategy says, they must engage us in NON-KINETIC ways; cyber, BIOLOGIC WEOPONS, sewing discord in the populace, try to instigate an internal conflict (civil war) basically they have a whole panoply of unconventional, asymetric non-kinetic ways of attacking us.

In the 80’s, two colonels that heve gone on to become Generals, wrote a paper, and I have summarised the gist of it.

Again, it STARTS with an aknowledgement they CAN NOT win a kinetic war against the U.S.

NOT since PDJT has rebuilt the military, which he points out every chance he gets, KNOWING China is listening.

Similarly, I suspect SOME of his boasting of anti-virus achievements; ventilators, ppe, testing, field hospitals is along the same vein, taking into account CHINA is listening, and he’s saying “We’re built up, we’re prepared for NEXT time!”

President Donald Trump has already decided to ‘cut the chord’ with Communist China, according to an article in TheConservativeTreehouse. See ~~President Trump China Strategy: Death By a Thousand Paper Cuts…~~ November 27, 2019 by sundance.

From the article, which should be read in its entirely:
“President Trump looks like he’s being stunningly patient because President Trump achieved his goal when no-one was paying attention. We are already past the success point.

      The goal is essentially achieved.

There is no actual intent to reach a trade deal with China where the U.S. drops the tariffs and returns to holding hands with a happy panda playing by new rules. This fictional narrative is a figment of fantasy being sold by a financial media that cannot fathom a U.S. President would be so bold as to just walk away from China.

That ‘walk away’ is exactly what President Trump did when he left all of those meetings in Southeast Asia in 2017; and every moment since has been setting up, and firming up, an entirely new global supply chain without China.”

President Trump is not currently engaged in a substantive trade agreement in the formal way people are thinking about it. Instead “Phase-One” is simply President Trump negotiating the terms of a big Agricultural purchase commitment from Beijing, and also protecting some very specific U.S. business interests (think Apple Co.) in the process.

The actual goal of President Trump’s U.S-China trade reset is a complete decoupling of U.S. critical manufacturing within China.

President Trump does not express angst, frustration, or even disappointment over the U.S-China trade discussions because the decoupling is well underway.”

The anti-trump forces, calling themselves “the resistance”, is,…a SACRILEGE, after hearing jimmy lai speak.
I always knew it was,..rediculous, but as I say, it now seems, …obscene!

Will pray for Jimmy, on the front lines.

      Or else it will be ;
“They came for the Hong Kongers,…
But I was not one, and so I said/did nothing.
Then, they came for the Taiwanese, and again, I was not Taiwanese, and so I said/did nothing.

Eventually they came for me, and I yelled Hey, HELP! But there was nobody left to respond,…”

President Obama’s Ambassador to China and the “good friend” of Joe Biden is apparently so “concerned” about the United States “preventing China’s rise” he is now actively appearing on Chinese Communist Party media outlets to blast President Trump and parrot Chinese government talking points.

due to the current reliance on a china one supply chain model, and in the middle of one of the most devastating economic downturns, coupled with a well timed cheap oil dump into the market, it is NOT in the interests of the United States to ratchet up any military conflicts with china.

290 nuclear assets is not to be ignored. Please refer to the command control protocols that exist within the chinese military doctrine. It’s not good! barely better than 1970’s era soviet style delegated authorities!

This administration is going to attend to a diplomatic and economic strategy to restore Hong Kong. It must not be allowed to fall. China is making a huge mistake that will have uncontrollable effects across the globe and with no gains that eclipse the risk. This must be proven to them with serious clear headed diplomacy. And that is going to take much more than just the US to provide that clarity. Ultimately, holding my vomit, this President is going to have to motivate NATO to get involved in some peace keeping missions without introducing a military threat scenario. I am thinking providing safe passage for the intellectual component within Hong Kong to Taiwan as a priority…Most have left, but that need to be performed if for no other reason than to perform the direct involvement.

I know many of you have this idea that all of this can be solved by reshoring manu and production back to the US. That isn’t realistic. At all. It’s the same reason why it matters to the US national security to still be relevant in the ME, even though we can produce oil and gas. It’s about being competitive…as we can observe when SA and RUS decide to take aim at the US with the oil dump. The US cannot operate in a vacuum.. One cannot ignore this reality. We are a superpower, because we have superior influence, and not solely because of our military might..but of our intelligent choices and timing to assert US interests abroad.

The United States is being tested to demonstrate that superior moral and intelligent power.

Performing it without escalating china into a military action is vitally important.

Long term, yes reshoring is obvious, but I am also of the mind that moving exported manu and production out of china to india is a very effective way to limit the influence of china policies into matters that the US should fully control.

Watch venezuela in the next several weeks…stay tuned.

Read this on the White House website this morning. It’s the full definition of the US Strategic Approach to the PRC. This is a comprehensive analysis of just about everything that is wrong and dangerous about the CCP strategy fro the last 40+ years.

This should be read as the document that will guide the administration’s response to the PRC but is not an action plan, but is the guiding set of principles that will underpin current and all future dealings with China that we will see turned into action henceforward.

Hope the link works because it is well worth a read.

Unless and until “lowering the hammer” means being honest with us and declaring AND treating COMMUNIST China as the existential ENEMY that it is, I am wholly unimpressed and in TOTAL disagreement with my government AND POTUS.

COMMUNIST China has repeatedly declared that it is, AND ACTED as, our MORTAL ENEMY. It has never altered its desired end-state of global domination that it declared when it seized power amidst a bloody and brutal revolution that resulted in the industrial scale murder of over 100 MILLION Chinese.

It should be treated as the enemy it is just as we are doing with Iran.

Until that happens we are playing into their hands and our own government—led by President Trump—and ably assisted by our leftist traitorous globalist “American” corporations like Apple and the leftist lamestream media are giving aid and comfort to our implacable enemy.

Thus any “hammer” of the kind referred to in this article is yet more propaganda intended to mollify but wholly mislead the American people!

There was a show about Mao Zedong recently that showed how he brainwashed the masses into following him then used the people against each other while torturing, and public shaming became commonplace. The tactics are virtually the same today and used by the media to keep the Maoist Democrats in control as much as possible.

Mao went after farmers just like the left goes after business today. He issued dictates that caused famine, death, and destruction of the economy, just like democrats and their covid shutdowns and illogical restrictions.

Mao then created the red guards out of disaffected young people and sent them against the teachers and anyone who disagreed with the party line or that had coherent “dangerous” thoughts. Think about the willing MSM, Antifa, many college students, and the uninformed, shaming people without masks? Although Antifa does wear masks!

Mao is still highly respected because the CCP propaganda continues in the form of social media, tech, and blue states claiming they have the monopoly on thought while putting in place their policies that end up harming while claiming they are helping.

Wondering if someone can help me understand the Vote-by mail. I don’t comment here much, but I have been here since 2017 and I find SD and the people very knowledgeable. So is this Vote by mail even legal? Are we saying Blue states can just pass laws declaring it legal in their state and those votes would be counted in the general election?

If that is the case, states like PA, WI, MN and other swing states could completely sway the election. I know the Deep State will stop at nothing to get rid of our President, but wouldn’t SCOTUS have a say? They know they have no chance to beat our President unless they cheat. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

From a VERY smart man I’ve come to know on FB (a working scientist who’s married to a Chinese lady):

“I tend to doubt this, but time will tell.
The entire world is ready to pounce on China. There isn’t enough economic capacity in China to cover for what has occurred. There ain’t no blood to get out of that turnip. Europe, Brazil, Canada, the USA, etc., can take on China in some world court, and damages of $100 trillion will be awarded.
$10 will be paid. Or China can monetize its WuFlu debt and we have Wiemar Germany leading to an Asian Hitler within another few years. One Mao was horrible enough.
And what happens with all these economies, long reliant upon cheap Chinese goods, that no longer have the manufacturing infrastructure to replace those imports? What happens when consumers get pissed at the higher prices and have to get by with fewer modern “necessities”? What happens when China retaliates by not buying western products? This is 1929 waiting to happen again.
Chinese culture is big on saving face. Global humiliation will cause tidal waves across the globe, not ripples. What happens to the YOOGE trade deal if China refuses to buy American agricultural products? I hear 1929 echoing yet again.
There is nothing that can effectively be done by pursuing retribution.”
