Kentucky Directorate of Coronavirus Compliance Orders Ankle Monitors For Uncooperative Citizens…

Comrades, the state officials have judicial authority.  Attempting to defy the dictates of the state will not end well as this young citizen comrade discovered.

“DL” is forced by state authority to live with a coronavirus infected resident.  DL, has tested negative for the virus, but now becomes a potential carrier because the state is requiring DL to remain in close proximity to the infected citizen.  DL doesn’t like this and attempted to leave his confinement; he was captured by the state.  A judge ordered DL to wear an ankle monitor to ensure he remains compliant to the containment order.

Kentucky – Despite Governor Andy Beshear ordering all Kentucky residents to stay at home to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, some in Louisville are reportedly refusing to self-quarantine.

As a response, Jefferson Circuit Court judge Angela Bisig is ordering ankle monitors for those who were exposed to the coronavirus but who won’t stay at home.

CNN reports that Bisig ordered an individual identified as D.L. to wear a global positioning device for the next two weeks. D.L is reportedly living with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus, as well as someone who is a presumptive case.

About a week ago, D.L. was ordered to self-quarantine for 14 days, the amount of time it takes for an infected individual to exhibit symptoms of the coronavirus. Family members, however, said he leaves his home often. (read more)

Read the link, they should have started this policy ages ago. Kentucky is home of the “coronavirus party,” and the people wearing monitors now either have CV or are probably carrying it and they refuse to self-isolate.

It’s irresponsible, if you’ve been exposed to the virus, to venture out into public, just as it’s illegal to have sex if you’re infected with HIV without telling them.

AB, correct that knowingly having CV and going out into public is irresponsible, however, to paraphrase, those that give up freedom for safety deserve neither.
The “creep” in the number and absurdity of laws is absurd. Edicts and regulations by our “officials” and bureaucrats need to be fought to the highest levels to ensure our freedoms are not infringed upon now or never.
Our Founding Fathers’ experiment is being ruined by those that have and continue to stick their noses into other citizens’ business and those that desire power and control over others.

You are talking out of your rear. In all probability the vast majority of people exposed are asymptomatic or mildly so. Those who are immunocompromised should self-quarantine because it could be fatal to them. For the rest it will only result in immunity. Following the idiotic advice of all levels of government only serves to create a perpetual market for vaccine makers. Kind of like we have no for the flu vaccine which is only 15% effective. It is nothing but a boondoggle. Bill Gates, who is pushing this big time, had a long and consistent career of never letting ethics get in the way of screwing someone out of a buck with a shit product. Older folks might recall DR DOS, which was far superior to Gate’s product, and Gate’s putting up warnings of incompatibility, also known as lies, to destroy the competition.

Athena is correct. As history teaches us, if the people have little or no knowledge of the basics of government and their rights, those who wield governmental power inevitably wield it excessively. After all, a citizenry can only hold its government accountable if it knows when the government oversteps its bounds. Constitutionally secured rights are intended to empower citizens to push back against those who would stifle the ardor of citizens who present their grievances to government, arbitrarily silence critics and impede efforts to ensure transparency in government. Whatever you do, do NOT hire an attorney to do for you what you can do yourself. For more info please visit this site: http://citizensoftheamericanconstitution.net/

One sad thing about the timing of this epidemic: If Obama were President and State Tyrants were engaging in the same dictatorial, unconstitutional actions, Fox opinion personalities (Dobbs, Trish (would still be employed), Tucker, Sean, Laura, Jesse, Pirro,, etc.) plus OANN would be devoting a good portion of every day’s shows to strident protests about the illegal and unconstitutional deprivations of our freedoms.

Dershowitz, Jay Sekulow, many other champions of freedom, would be on TV every night announcing the filing of a new lawsuit against States and Localities. There would be hundreds of well funded, well publicized lawsuits going EVERY day. Eventually, SOME judges — State and Federal — would wake up to what the REAL role of our independent judiciaries was supposed to be, and start enjoining these restrictions.

Given the timing of this virus, there really is no effective, high profile opposition to these Regal edicts. The “opposition” say even MORE oppressive dictatorships are “necessary,” including at the federal level. The pro-Trump media cannot support freedom and our rights and heritage as Americans as they would have under any other President.

Thank you Sundance for speaking up and beginning or ending so many reports with “comrades.”

My local police department has no problem with running teenagers off the public basketball court because the mayor and governor have deemed it necessary. However, they’ll think long and hard about going door to door to violate the rights of lawfully armed citizens.

Another comment on here commended a sheriff’s department for defying the unlawful order made by their governor. That happens regularly here in my part of CA that still understands freedom and I salute those sheriff departments who take a big yet principled risk by standing up to authoritarian governors.

Is anyone considering suing the government? Good luck with that. I tried it once and know from experience that you can’t. When I asked my lawyer about why the various branches and bureaus of government can and do sue each other, he explained that they give each other permission to do so. An ordinary citizen has no such legal standing. The bottom line is you can’t sue the government. If you don’t believe me and you don’t mind losing some time and money, try it sometime.

Your first mistake was talking to a lawyer. They are trained to follow precedent. The reason the left has been successful in courts is because they don’t limit themselves to what the mainstream lawyers will allow them. Lawyers who are part of the system and don’t want to piss off a judge. Don’t use a lawyer and keep your arguments focused on the language of the constitution.

          Dear Dan,
You assume that I made a mistake. You also presume that you know more than I do. That’s not a good way to respond in a conversation – but it might be a good way to precipitate an argument. I come here to discuss things and to educate if I can, not to argue.

I only talked to my lawyer after my attempt to bring a case against a branch of the federal government. After that, when I called my lawyer to ask about this, I then learned WHY my case was thrown out by the judge.

BECAUSE *YOU* CAN’T SUE THE GOVERNMENT.
ONLY THE GOVERNMENT CAN SUE ITSELF.

Yes, it really is that basic and simple. Try it, and discover this for yourself.

It’s easy to talk legal theories and constitutional law, and some here quote these things often and act like they know everything, or often are expressing the way things SHOULD be. But what “should” be isn’t what actually IS, in this *real* world. Beware of living in the land of “shoulds”.

As I posted before, actually try suing the government. Then you (that’s the “impersonal” you) might better understand what I am saying. Do it. And then please tell us the result.

When the TSA security theatre began at the airports, with all the fondling and molestations, some people complained. If a significant minority had said “F this” I’m not flying until TSA is gone, the airlines would have taken a big hit, and the TSA would be gone. But people didn’t do that. Why on earth are people panicked? It’s just like global warming. It’s only in your mind.

I had a texting fight with my kids again today. They are my personal little Hitlers. I’m supposed to stay in my apartment and never go anywhere. I have been very good and only go to grocery stores when I need something. I made the mistake of calling the virus the China cold again. Well, it is from China and it does present as cold symptoms.
I’m so weary of this manufactured crisis. I just want to go on a long bike and go to an ice cream stand. My Hitlers are in their little family units and doing all kinds of things they don’t normally do but I’m alone. I don’t say that for pity but I suspect many families are like that. Mine just fell for the tyranny hook, line and sinker.

You don’t have to be a Communist to be an AUTHORITARIAN. Members of any political party can be. Everyone in power aspired to power, they love being in power and most want to increase their power, They, including everyone in government, will never advocate decreasing the power of their position. This is why government continues to expand and our liberty continues to diminish and evaporate.

Back in the Sixties, leftists put bumper stickers on their cars that said “Question Authority.” Now things are reversed. I’m thinking of putting one on my car. I’m anything but a leftist, and I never was one, but I AM an anti-authoritarian.

I tho’t this was crap. I couldn’t make it past ten minutes and that was agonizingly SLOW and STUPID. I probably would not have done it for anyone except the new Bill W.

If I understand correctly, this is based on the temps of 180k thermometers somewhere across the country testing someone or several someones unknown. I don’t know if they are babies or seniors or in between.

ZERO scientific value as far as I am concerned. Thanks for sharing anyway.

P.S. Of course social distancing is working. That is common sense. We all try to stay away from our loved ones we we are sick. That is a fact of life. Being forced to do it for NO REASON AT ALL is what doesn’t make any sense.

Come to think about it..tracking phones of Washington politicians and social distancing should be interesting.. Page, Strozk Adam Schiff and the bath house visits… you don’t even need a FISA judge to track people…. and its probably by design that you cannot turn your phone off..

I didn’t know if I was getting coronavirus for the past two weeks and I have a heart condition. I finally had gotten tested Thurs evening and it was negative. That’s when I found out Cleveland Clinic isn’t even using the hydroxychloroquine and only treating symptoms, and was very dimissive about the medicine.

So my husband’s sister’s friend’s father is on a ventilator at Cleveland Clinic because he is being forced to go through the whole viral cycle being treated with just Benadryl and a Tylenol up his rear.

Anyway, back to the point. I stayed home two weeks sick and not knowing and my husband for the most part, but I can’t corral my oldest 18 year old teenage son. I can imagine now he could be wearing an ankle bracelet if I was positive.

I hate the fact that my kids are not in school, there are a lot of other setbacks. However, there are some other issues that may justify the spectrum of social distancing measures being taken at the moment. Wife is a ICU nurse and she is taking care of COVID patients. Last three in their 40’s. NONE with comorbidity but with aggravating issues such as sleep apnea, obesity. And lets face it, how many people don’t suffer from some form of immunosuppression or deficiency at the end of the day? Anyway, her regional hospital has already run out of Remdesivir, repeat, a regional hospital in southern California no longer has a major drug treatment for coronavirus. Further, they are at risk of running out of PLAQUENIL (Hydroxychloroquine). They are doing plaquenil with rocephin/Zithromax with generally good results. Now OC is not NYC, they are busy but not overrun. Imagine if they get overrun, there will be either no or limited supplies of the major treatment drugs (at least for the very near future). That means a lot more potential deaths. These conditions on the ground should be part of the argument for or against quarantine, and the stringency of the measures to ensure social distancing, at least until the end of April. PS This is not the flu, lung function can getting overwhelmed very quickly for those with susceptibility.

SUE THEM. Every citizen experiencing unconstitutional tyranny must file lawsuits. This is beyond overreach. Joe DiGenova indicated this can be done “due to health concerns.” I say total BS. If we apply a flu-like outbreak as justification to FORCE Americans against their will to stay home or FORCE American businesses to close this is beyond overreach. I don’t know what Joe DiGenova is thinking. Sue.

Its unfortunate that so many here cannot see the extenuating circumstances they are agreeing to. The Left has achieved, without legislation, what they sought with the ACA– controlling YOU, on the basis of healthcare, with what has been accepted as plausible and “sensible” reactions to illness, without any evidence.

Delivered by media pressure, which fears nothing.

You might be infected, so we’re going to declare you isolated, symptoms or not, until we decide otherwise, or until a test we deem acceptable indicates you are permitted to interact with the public, for the “public good.”

In fact, all of you are isolated, until we know better. A better that never comes.

Can you not see the problem with that? The public good cannot bear the cost of your obesity, so you cannot have any more fast food, or Dr. Pepper. You might have heart disease.

Oh, damn, someone in Arkansas has a cold, shut it all down. It’s not hyperbole, that’s where this is headed. The Left always seeks to take the “suck” out of life, and they don’t care about the cost, because it costs the elites nothing.

Like the “live off food stamps” stunts of the Ozero era, to move the target away from whether, to how much.

Telling others what they do not have “the right” to do presupposes a false construct regarding where those “rights” come from.

      Excellent post.

To those buying into our current totalitarian police States because a “Public Health” “Emergency” overrides all liberties, be wary.

The next time an Obama is in the WH, his “Public Health” experts will advise that the poor air quality created by climate change requires that we “shut down” the country and allow only such activities and businesses as Federal and State tyrants deem “essential” (that list will be ever changing, discretionary and subject to all the corrupt waivers, exemptions, exceptions, payoffs of Statist politics as usual at its worst).

It would be interesting to see how many of the coronavirus patients had vitamin C blood levels under 0.6 mg/dL and vitamin D levels under 30 ng/L at the time of initial infection. Once you’re sick vitamin C is going to drop lower without serious supplementation.

Voting is thus an act of violence as it sanctions thugs/politicians to use force to impose the voter’s beliefs, opinions, views, prejudices and “false religion” on those who do not share the same.
