    No way out….

What is the end game for ending the lockup? Unless the virus can be made extinct all over the planet, it’s never going to end (at least not until there is herd immunity and/or a vaccine). Are we now locked in our homes forever? Is the era of air travel over? How are you going to take a week long vacation in Italy (or even in Colorado) if you have to spend two weeks in quarantine when you arrive and another two weeks when you get back home? We have locked ourselves in a living hell but how do we ever get out?

What politician is going to be willing to end the lockup if it means that it is going to be his fault that folks is gonna die as a result? I can see the campaign ads already.

Grainy blurred snapshot is shown on screen. Camera pans back and we see that it is being held by weeping widow Latisha Foster: “Tiquan was so full of life. Then (Republican) Governor NoName ended the quarantine too early and took him away from us. If he had only listened to the experts he would still be with us now.”

it mutates. vaccines for this are no more useful than an innate immune booster tool.

the meds focus on replication, a portion that may be consistent amongst the mutation strains.

a coup would push vaccine knowing that… and patriot would seek meds knowing it.

i wish sundance would push an article showing Coumo thanking China this entire morning!

The only “way out” is DJT.

Not until he declared a National Emergency and freed up unlimited federal funds for use at State Governor discretion did the Royal Governors of our various States start issuing their absurd, unconstitutional orders. They would never have DARED if DJT had said, “Shut your state? Make your voters/taxpayers/citizens pay for it.”

For us to reopen, he will have to override State and Local potentate edicts. They will NOT cooperate.

His 2 weapons: Pull federal emergency funding from States ordering shutdowns, etc, and/or (2) Define larger and larger segments of our activities/businesses as “essential” under federal law and forbid the States to interfere. (He could also use against the Regal Tyrants the broad definition of “interstate commerce” and preempt them from interfering with it.)

It’s time for him to (secretly for now) engage a “reopening Secretary” and put somebody like Ted Cruz (lots of legal acumen) in charge of how to implement when DJT gives the go ahead.

Our only “way out” is if DJT is THE Man for Our Time.

The only region of the country that warranted being declared an emergency was the NYC metro region and that’s due to them being completely incompetent to deal with any type of a crisis.

As long as the federal government continues to make up for the lockdown states budget shortfalls, the lockdowns will continue and the economy will go off the cliff.

I believe when it’s starts affecting enough people’s wallet then there will be civil unrest and people will push back. Right now with the increases in unemployment payments and help for businesses from the SBA, while we have been unconstitutionally subjected to these lock ups, I don’t think it’s financially hurting enough people to cause an uprising.

I can imagine a different campaign ad. Where the candidate points out how his opponent unconstitutionally locked us up, cost us our jobs and businesses, all for a virus that has killed far fewer people than the flu this year. Sensible people would vote for that candidate. I know I would in a heartbeat. I’m in Arizona and if somebody challenges Ducey in the next election that’s what I’m going to be asking.

    https://nypost.com/2020/04/04/long-island-doctor-tries-new-hydroxychloroquine-for-covid-19-patients/

FTA “A New York doctor hopes to help his elderly COVID-19 patients with a treatment plan inspired by the success tentatively being reported with hydroxychloroquine — and which he says shows promising results….Dr. Alam said he decided he could not apply the touted combination of the antimalarial hydroxychloroquine and antibiotic azithromycin because the side effects could be potentially fatal for his high-risk patients, many of whom had underlying heart issues….So instead, Alam replaced azithromycin with another decades-old antibiotic that doesn’t pose any known risks to the heart….“Doxycycline is an anti-inflammatory with properties similar to azithromycin but without the safety concerns and without cardiac toxicity,” he said.”

So another successful use of HCQ but paired with doxycycline instead of azithromycin for elderly patients with serious other health issues. “Dr. Alam said that 38 of 47 patients treated returned to their baseline and their symptoms resolved. Seven of the patients were transferred to a hospital and two died.” How many successful treatments using HCQ are needed before it is given upon diagnosis of Covid-19???? Americans are dying because they’re not receiving HCQ soon enough! Good grief this is so frustrating especially because I’m elderly with some health issues!

My comment about Fauci over at Lucianne:

Engineers design and implement solutions. Scientists design and run experiments.

Fauci is a scientist. He designed and is now running an elaborate mitigation experiment. It will solve nothing. All it will do is generate data for him to analyze. Science has its place, but should never be allowed anywhere near policy making. Let the engineers have it, if there are even any around Trump. Everyone on the stage always sounds like a scientist. Even Birx.

Who are the engineers? The doctors on the front line doing combat medicine and trying treatments off label. seeing what works, neither asking nor waiting for anyone’s permission or approval. The military moving supplies and building hospitals. The logistics people who can ship and allocate and adjust on a dime. Private sector. Need to move 1,000 ventilators fast? Call the military or Fed Ex or UPS or …. you get the picture.

God help us. And God save us from the scientists.

But God forbid the teachers shouldn’t get their spring break as per union contract. This is from their latest e-mail to parents:

My husband and I took my father to the ER of our big regional medical center this morning for issues totally unrelated to covid. I was told to wait in my car outside since the waiting room was closed and only one family member could accompany the patient. Thankfully the medical center’s wifi extends to the parking lot so I can read this site for my morning news (much better than a cellphone). I parked close to the ER entrance with full view of the comings and goings. But that is a boring task given no one has passed thru those doors in past two hours. The wheelchair greeter out front is also quite bored. So now back to my reading….

Interesting google results when researching coronavirus treatments. Some of the major health authorities like WHO, Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University all downplay or don’t even mention the new treatments involving hydroxylchloroquine. In addition they barely mention the Chinese origins of the disease or when they do, repeat Chinese propaganda on how few deaths there are in China and how low Chineses fatalities are compared with Europe and the USA. Without wanting to sound like a conspiracy theorist, it’s pretty obvious there is a concerted effort by Google and the left to push a certain narative. George Orwell was so prescient it’s scary. Intrepid reporter Bendix here.
I just put two and two together. I have noticed, as we all have , the secrecy about the actual conditions inside NYC hospitals, and all the fake news abounding to suggest that they are overwhelmed by this disease.
The other day a police officer in NYC, whom I asked about this, told me the concern was all for what COULD happen, not what is happening now.
He also mentioned something I did not think too much about at the time, but which has suddenly become important.
He said that, should our medical system become overtaxed due to a surge in this disease, I should keep im mind that doctors and nurses have their own families.

The other day, I saw stories that two local hospitals have taken in some COVID-19 patients from NYC.
This seemed a little odd, because from what the cop right there in NY told me, NYC hospitals don’t have an overflow yet. Whatever, we don’t seem to have that many people with the disease up here, so there is room.
Another thing that seemed odd, not all of these COVID patients actually have COVID, some are just suspected cases. It seems a little extreme to transfer someone upstate just for a test:
    https://dailygazette.com/article/2020/04/01/albany-med-takes-in-first-downstate-covid-19-patients

Just moments ago, I heard from someone who spoke directly with a friend who works at Albany Medical Center.
Two things I learned: one, he is angry, because hospital employees are stealing supplies for themselves, and not being disciplined for it. This ties in to what the cop was telling me, about the workers having their own families.
Two, there was a story in th paper about how many Albany Medical Center workers have tested positive for the Wuhan Flu, and the claim was made that most of them contracted the illness outside of the hospital. No followup on what that meant for the residents of Albany.

I’m wondering here if the hospitals more or less on standby just in case, asked for some of these patients who may or may not have the disease, just to replace lost income from the deferred surgeries, etc?
So transferring them does not reflect on the NYC hospitals’ conditions.
Also, shortages of supplies can be the result of slipshod internal controls. Why should hospitals get negligent at a time like this?
    Who benefits?

Oh, also, my friend does not believe the information the hospital is giving out regarding staff who are COVID-19 positive.

That is why the death rates are so bloated since President Trump and Pence announced all the ChiCom-19 related costs of treatment would be picked up by the taxpayer and that includes the underlying conditions they were treated for…all surgeries, cancer treatments, dialysis, etc, and knowing hospital administrators, they will charge the patient’s insurance company too. I’m not sure I understand, are you saying what we had prior to Obamacare completely failed? If so, please elaborate.

My understanding in terms of profit, the insurance companies stock prices were up quite significantly after our illustrious government mandated pile of crap was passed. So it didn’t slow profits, it slowed access to actual care and medical equipment production, among many other damning impacts.

Anyway, I’m open to understanding what you mean by for profit systems vs alternatives. As a general statement, I believe we have always subsidized healthcare for those who couldn’t afford it; portion of premiums (pre Obama care) of private insurance were tapped to pay for those who couldn’t afford. States had their own Medicaid programs (some may have been better than others?). But adding more Federal government regulations and bureaucracy surely is not the cure for a Healthy, successful, proactive Healthcare are system.

I do find it interesting that if you go to the Johns Hopkins site that is tracking all of this and you click on NYC they are reporting ZERO recoveries. Is that even possible or just bad data?

By the way did you see that they already contaminated the hospital ship PT sent to NY by sending Covid-19 patients there?

Cuomo should be impeached for his incompetence and inability to manage a state!

I would love to see the stats of who have died and who have recovered (especially after the hydroxychlorquine + Zpack treatments), their ages, comorbidity…..how many homeless? Rhetorical question….but WHY aren’t the nasty media reporting this???

Nasty media can’t find any real stats because there aren’t any true stats reported. CO is still using presumptive positive, because they want so much for these deaths to be caused by WuFlu. Agenda 21 could installed tomorrow!

      • There are ordinary problems quantifying that sort of data.

How many of the recovered did so because they “believed” the treatment would work, even before it was administered? (Placebo effect). Patients recover due to placebo effect every day. They psychologically engage their own inner capacity to heal in ways we know very little about. Good doctors try to use thIs effect to advantage in the treatment process.

How many of the recovered got better as a direct result of the treatment? Since they don’t know enough about why it works (if it works), that won’t be easy to prove or count. After all, some patients get the HCQ cocktail and still die. To what degree did it contribute to their deaths in these cases? Every drug has risks.

How many got no direct benefit from the treatment, but their immune system finally kicked in sufficiently to defeat the virus anyway? How do we tell if HCQ bought them enough time to get over the crisis?

These aren’t easy questions to answer immediately.

I don’t tweet but would somebody tweet Don Jr. and suggest that his Dad reach out to both Dr. Stephan Smith in NJ who was on Laura Ingraham’s Program the other night AND Dr. Zelenko in NY.

I’d also suggest he consider adding Dr. Smith to the Pence task force team.

My fear is the DS folks are going to try and poo poo as much as possible the results of hydroxychloroquine in order to delay, delay, delay all of this.

Which is why I have reached out to both asking them to ensure their patient data results are included in the https://covid19.oracle.com/ site that PT mentioned yesterday.

But frankly it would be better if PT could speak with each of them directly or ask them to attend one of the briefings and share their results with the American people.

Dr. Zelenko would need to be on videophone as he is immunocompromised.
Could also give a great example of how the technology works
I would love to see him on one of the updates

Let’s play a little game called Last Thing. If you were faced with a personal catastrophe, what is the last thing you would hold onto?

Start with the old question of, if you can’t pay both the mortgage and car payment, which one do you pay? Traditional answer is: you can live in your car, but you can’t drive your house, so you pay the car payment and let the house go.

How about the rest? I suggest the absolute last thing you keep is your cell phone. Even homeless folks with nothing but a garbage bag of stuff have a cell phone in their pocket. Your cell phone is your tether to the world, your lifeline. If you are on a ventilator and can’t talk, you can still hold up your cell phone and tap out “still here” to your spouse. Maybe just text a thumbs-up emoji to someone who cares. Where am I going with this?

21 million Chinese cell phone accounts and 840,000 land line accounts have been terminated since the Chinese virus struck.

Does anyone REALLY believe those people are still alive?

I am going into the weeds very deep and suggest the possibility that during the media blackout and lock down in China, the CCP used this virus as an excuse to kill millions of their sickly elderly (positive or not because they are a drag on the system) and political enemies. FYI – US data on influenza deaths are false and misleading. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acknowledges a difference between flu death and flu associated death yet uses the terms interchangeably… On average 500 – 1000 die of the Flu-Virus a year the rest are associated…

Any such purportedly nonpartisan/bipartisan group of alleged “experts” will accomplish absolutely NOTHING.

DJT is on his OWN when it comes to reopening. He will get NO clearance from the medical “experts” running our country and converting our States into totalitarian dictatorships. He will also be resisted at every step by the Regal potentates now running our States.

DJT has weapons at his disposal — e.g. pull federal emergency funding from resistors, expand definition of “essential” activities under federal law and forbid State interference. But he will get NO clearance to use these weapons from any useless “expert” assemblage.

      It really isn’t that hard.

      1) Quarantine the 6-7 hotspots for 4 weeks & treat all people who test positive with hydroxychloroquine, z-pack and zinc.

      2) maintain the no in and out at Nursing Homes for 4-8 weeks

      3) Ask retirees over 65 or 70 to stay home for another 2-3 weeks at most

      4) Provide all Doctors with access and a supply of Hydroxychloroquine to be used as preventative as Dr. Smith and Dr. Zelenko have done with patients showing early symptoms.

      5) Everybody else back to work.

No need for a task force, just common sense.

      Pretty simple IMO.

Walmart’s are forcing you to stand in line and limiting how many in the stores creating lines. What kinda krap is this. Never will I be in those stores. This is a socialist dream come true.

Sporty — Be cautious in condemning Walmart for this. They may have been forced by the Regal Tyrant now running your State or Locality. Remember also that they have their own employees to consider — who may be very reluctant to work given the current scare/hysteria, as well as enticed by the prospect of government checks to sit home. Management has a very delicate line to walk.

President Trump knows this is more than a pandemic. The China flu pressers are very important to watch. Stay with it through the Q and A’s. I never watch news, but I am watching each one of these. PT is telling us a lot. If you have time, watch them all from the beginning.

Please Mr. President….Talk less about ventilators and N95 face masks, which seem to be an obsession of the VP led task force, and talk more about your plans to bring America back on-line. Your citizens need a glimmer of hope while their lives and livelihoods are being destroyed, not a blame game about who should buy ventilators and face masks.

    Curing COVID-19 Report: April 4th, 2020;

    https://docs.google.com/document/d/19u1VTltQ5zlKxzk0PC3GtKY-Amy9Z-aeWvR6k4q6BLA/edit

In the National Post, formerly a great conservative newspaper run by Conrad Black, there has been hardly a mention of hydroxychloroquine, despite its obvious efficacy.

The TDS is strong in our media (though I suspect and hope our doctors are not as gullible, no matter their politics).

“Canadian doctors, like their American counterparts, are legally allowed to prescribe approved medicines “off-label” for uses other than those specified in their licences. (But sadly, some might say, criminally*), Health Canada has not followed the U.S. lead by encouraging they do so with hydroxychloroquine.”
    https://nationalpost.com/health/canada-takes-cautious-approach-to-unapproved-covid-19-drugs-as-others-prescribe-wide-use?video_autoplay=true#comments-area

    Here’s a pertinent (but edited by the NP) comment from this article;
“Canada cautiously looks to find covid-19 drugs that aren’t racist or that will not hurt feelings.”

    * My comment, not the NP’s

As we know, Bill Gates has a dream of forced vaccinations (followed by digital identity tattoos- BTW no one is giving me a tattoo). Pandemics are the perfect time to push this. Whatever your views on vaccines, we must protect our rights. Doing some research I came across this site, the National Vaccine Information Center. It has a running list of pending vaccination legislation. Very interesting. For example:
Alabama SB 56/HB 103 3/31/20 Requires vaccine providers report all vaccines to the vaccine tracking system
Arizona SB 1028 3/31/20 Expands current law on public health emergencies to include an emerging public health threat
