White House Coronavirus Task Force Briefing – 5:00pm ET Livestream

Unfortunately, with President Trump effectively communicating the latest information on the federal efforts to mitigate COVID-19, more corporate U.S. resistance media have decided not to carry the live broadcasts from the White House task force briefings.

Today at 5:00pm the White House will hold a briefing for the public and media on the latest mitigation efforts against the coronavirus. [Video Added]

Good for them! So what if they got CV, they will get over it! My 69 year old and NOT healthy mom got it and recovered in 10 days in January. Meanwhile, my dad got shingles from all the stress and then was too scared to go to the doctor because he was afraid he would catch CV. Suffered for 2 weeks in pain before we finally talked him into going in.

You have no idea whether the January illness was coronovirus. Less than 10% of those getting tested because of symptoms actually have CV. Flu season also in process. My son and boss were also very sick in late February with symptoms reflective of CV and I asked several doctors and they said there was a flu going round since the Fall with the same symptoms.

But, hey, if you are so sure, send your 69-year old mom to do all the shopping for the family.

Because “flattening the curve” doesn’t mean people will not get the virus as restrictions are lessened- it means that severe cases will not overwhelm the health system all at once.
This is one of the most misunderstood things about the virus protocol we’re using.

Which makes it seem absurd that people close to POTUS are still touting the 200,000 fatality number. 389 new deaths today, and the increase is essentially LINEAR. Linear, people!!!
Even at 500 a day, it would take 400 days with no improvement to reach that number!

“Flattening the curve” just means slowing the acceleration rate of infections but it does not *necessarily* preclude changing the total number of infections over a longer time period.

Drs. Fauci and Birx have said several times that “flattening the curve” is the objective so as to prevent the hospitals being overwhelmed by a large number of concurrent, seriously ill patients requiring intubation and ventilators. That makes perfect sense.

However they have also added that “flattening the curve”, by means of stay-at-home and the other restrictive measures that are in place, *may* also reduce the total number of infections. That is because, all else being equal, the population’s social distancing behavior effectively limits the virus’ ability to gain access to large numbers of people (inside whom it can reproduce itself) within a short time period. So IMHO there is some validity to that estimate as well.

          Well that’s odd. Know why?

There were 2000 students who remained on campus the whole time. The test of the students returned home. Those who remained behind in dorms were mostly international students who couldn’t get home (or it was unsafe to return).

So they opened campus up for classes. The classes are all online only. Cafeteria food is available for take out only. Social distancing is in force just like the rest of the city. All academic buildings are closed. Teachers instructed to have no (or limited) face to face contact with students.

This was actually a humanitarian and safe response to the situation.

Not necessarily, I think thats a fluid thing. It should, and I think will, depend on location. The problem is, that federal GUIDELINE gives the governors the room to make actual ORDERS. Im opposed to the federal guidelines of social distancing. I think Pres Trump should lift them all and let the Governors do that if they want to.

Exactly, dawg. The State Governors and mayors must take responsibility for their own local conditions. PDJT/Pence can work to support them, but they must be fully responsible for consequences of their bad decisions, rather than complain.

A rural county or suburb may be fine with just required facemasks and gloves to go back to work, with just those who are older or have underlying conditions under quarantine. Those who have acquired immunity (recovered from known or unknown infection) arealso low-risk to return with ‘herd immunity’ to get the economy going.

The Dem Governors of big Dem States such as NY, IL, CA, MI, VA can maintain their quarantine, refusal drugs to their citizens to prolong suffering and death, and shutdown their cities, or statewide, and be responsible for their decisions. Other governors such as those of Florida and Texas can force travelers from poorly-managed Dem states to be quarantined.

The Federal Government can help, and deal with ‘interstate commerce’, but the individual States have the primary responsibility for their citizens. If the citiens don’t like their state government, they can recall them, vote in someone else, or move.

Adding in the numbers of jails around the country that are releasing 50-75% of their populations, regardless of their level of risk to the community, is only going to bring about more civil unrest, which will lead to MORE restrictions on civil liberties…

This is NOT coming from the police officers on the street – they are just as mad about it as we are and they are not interested in pulling over average citizens trying to just go about their lives!!

With a little more new data, PDJT can relax shutdown recommendations nationally for at least low-incident counties with recommendation for HCQ distribution, return-to-work with universal facemasks, gloves, noncontact (no handshakes, ect), surface-wipedowns, sick-stay-home.

BUT LEAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO STATE, CITY and LOCAL government for increased measures based on their assessment for local conditions. THe FEDs will ‘help’ them with drugs, ventilators, tests, etc. That puts State responsibility where it belongs. If the DEms want to destroy their citizen’s economy, that is their responsibility.

If not, New Yorkers can vote them out, or leave the state/city (as many are doing in NY/NJ/CT/CA).

But the Governors/mayors need to be made responsible for their bad and/or crooked decisions, rather than being able to criticize PDJT or anyone else.

But SARS “re-appeared’. We in the ‘public’ all knew about other country efforts. Some of us in the public check PubMed for SARS-CoV-2 work, which was pretty early. And there has been a significant amount of this ‘foreign’ work, which is excellent. So, when did the CDC start considering (and re-considering) SARS drugs? after October 2019? There MUST have been some internal consideration (or re-consideration) in the CDC/NIH/FDA. It must have been shut down quickly? By whom? When? Why?

I imagine that a LOT of young parents (30s – 40s) do not have many answers because this is a first-time event in their lives, and the lives of their parents. They have never really seen any insidious nation-wide threat like this (911 was traumatic but we quickly realized it was confined to NYC, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 crashing in PA).

Unless parents are well-grounded in faith and have taught their children accordingly, and can reassure their children using the wisdom of accurate Bible doctrine as taught by Christ and his chosen apostles, they must deal with not having any secular answers from any similar past experience.

I cannot imagine how I would try to encourage my children absent our faith, and try to convince them to rely on the wisdom of President Trump and a few members of his Team…. A wisdom of which the kids have been steadily lied to and propagandized in school that he has none. So now the parents really have to fight the brainwashing; worse if they themselves are also brainwashed.

This also has to be especially hard on families with parents who work in “essential” jobs and must still report to work despite their children being home.

i think scarborough, just like newsome & gov. cuomo, stuck their finger in the wind and realized that PDJT’s actions are irrefutably HELPING solve the problem.

they are simply concerned about their own credibility when things improve. Then, they can point to how ‘they agreed with PDJT’. I recall that just a few days ago, Scarborough was accusing PDJT of wanting to kill all seniors with his actions. the 2 gov’s, of course, need to play nice to get help from the federal govt – not that they care all that much about their constituents (if you ask me). Again, it’s more about enhancing their resume.

These people live in a world where problems are never solved – they are not meant to resolve because problems are rewarded with funding. yet, they have to constantly pretend they are trying to resolve problems in order to keep getting the funding.

    Here is an argument:

I think I have finally resolved the mismatch between the reports from Italy and certain areas of the US that were overwhelmed, and the unremarkable death toll from COVID19.

On one hand, COVID19 is a bad bug. When all the numbers come in, it may prove to have a greater mortality rate than the regular flu, but nothing approaching the 2 percent or greater, like the Spanish flu. Remember that the “best brains” came to President Trump telling him it might have a mortality rate greater than 2 percent!

I want to clarify that I never meant to say COVID19 was like the Spanish flu in severity. I knew it was much less severe. I was saying COVID19 would respond to social distancing, etc. and follow growth patterns just like any infectious disease does, when I said it was a textbook pandemic like the 1918 one.

Now I can see that the reason for certain areas being overwhelmed, is because the medical capacity in many countries and areas of the US has been systematically hollowed out over time! This was done either as an inevitable consequence of socialized medicine, or with malice aforethought. First reduce the medical capacity, so there is no buffer or reserve. Then wait for the inevitable stress on the system, or supply the stress.

Since Obamacare, so many small hospitals have closed. Commenter countrydoc has been filling us in on this. He said that once good hospitals have been turned into bandaid clinics. Commenter Dutchman first floated the idea, and it has been percolating in my head, that the attack was always on our medical capacity.

If our medical capacity had not been eroded, the COVID19 cases would fade into the baseline of what is already occurring.

Does the above argument make sense?

It seems to, but it does not match up with these facts:
    1) At great risk to themselves, and we can’t find these people anymore, doctors in China realized something dangerous was happening in Wu Han and tried to warn the world. They tried to warn the world about an ordinary seasonal flu-like illness? That doesn’t add up.

    2) Has the medical capacity of the entire world been diminished so severely over the last few decades? And, how did no one notice the shortfall?

    3) Countries all over the world are asking us to help them with any ventilators that we can spare. This hasn’t happened before.

Now it is all coming into focus, after seeing Dr. Zelenko’s interview with Rudy Giuliani. At minute 9:25 to 10:00 he states that Covid 19 is 3 times more contagious than the ordinary flu and 10 times more deadly.

Being ten times more deadly is the difference in a mortality rate of 1.0 and 0.1. The mortality rate of the common flu is approximately 0.1 and it kills annually 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 per year and even higher some years. If another disease is ten times more deadly, that means you have to multiply the above numbers by 10. This means we need to think in terms of hundreds of thousands. These are deaths, not infections.

I don’t want to hear this either, but we need to know what we are facing. On a positive note, we have taken measures to reduce the rate of infection, and those measures may have been very effective.

We need to prepare our minds and hearts as we go through this as a nation. Already there are so many wonderful acts of kindness and practical help, in addition to the heroic sacrifice of our doctors and nurses.

Now here’s the good news! Dr. Zelenko’s cocktail of readily available and inexpensive drugs cures this horrible virus in about 5 days. This is the game-changer of all game-changers. It will even obviate the need for so many ventilators.

This treatment will cut the pandemic short in a matter of weeks, maybe less than three weeks. This will benefit the whole world.

The US economy, the essential economy for the whole world, will come roaring back.

Finally, every last one of us will meet this virus eventually. Just like the American Indians had to face diseases like smallpox that they had never encountered before, we have no prior immunity. I am no longer afraid of meeting this virus, because this treatment exists.

Instead of this virus going seasonal and returning next fall, we can now exterminate it by applying this treatment. I think. We will find out.

And we don’t need no steenkin vaccines to do that. Vaccinations are one of the fairest flowers of civilization, but we have a treatment that safely allows us to acquire immunity.

Support the president. It took God seven decades to prepare this great and extraordinary man, to preserve this nation against the forces of evil. I believe God will still use this nation to fund the gospel for the whole world and be a beacon of freedom.

Zelenko is doing great work with his treatments, but he doesn’t know what the mortality rate is.

No one does until there is widespread antibody testing done to determine how many people are catching it, and resolving it on their own with mild or no symptoms.

I’ve seen many, many, on social media say that they think they have had it and gotten over it. Are they right? I don’t know, but the doctors say that for the majority of infected, they get zero to mild symptoms.

Because of the simultaneous existence of various flu viruses also circulating in this and other nations, a LOT – likely the vast majority – of people who recently (last 2-3 months) got ill and then recovered without any medical intervention, can only speculate as to WHICH particular bug made them ill. I agree with the previous statement – only an antibody test will provide clarity.

Mimbler correct, NO ONE can know what the mortality rate is because we don’t know what the real denominator is…the CDC themselves have already admitted that thousands and thousands across America have already self-resolved…in the end, this will wind up being just as potent or perhaps less than the common flu…

I read a medical paper the other day on vaccine prep, and thankfully this single strain RNA virus appears not to have mutated to date, which may be a game changer. I think individuals should decide themselves about any vaccine, yet that rears the head of this virus mutating down the road if enough do not chose it.

Seattle closed up shop early on and crime is already getting out of hand…letting hardened criminals back out on to the street in order to “protect” them from getting COVID19 in the jail is about as dumb a policy as can be imagined, which is, of course, why cities all over the Left Coast are following suit!!

woah, tdaly14, that is not correct…at all…..while the current number of COVID-19 hospitalizations is still rising, the influenza (i.e. common flu) has led to 12 TIMES MORE people being hospitalized in recent years than COVID-19…12 times…….I have the graphs to prove it, they were posted by a PhD on Twitter, and NO ONE can rebut them…there may be hotspots, but our ICU’s are NOT being overrun….in addition, 95% of cases world wide a deemed MILD, it’s even higher in the U.S (98%)…..yet, for some unknown reason, in past years, we didn’t have the sheer panic and the purported hospital crisis worth shutting down the country down entirely….these anecdotal reports are ridiculous, I challenge you to rebut Ned Nikolov’s charts on Twitter…I have a cousin who is a HC worker in the heart of NYC and she is not reporting the same kinds of things…

I have read several times that some in the medical community believe the Zinc is actually the coronavirus “poison” , and that the combo of HCQ and azithromycin (which is an antibiotic – only for bacteria) do something to the virus that enables the zinc to get inside the virus and prevent the virus from replicating inside cells and thus overwhelming its human host. The bottom line is if the virus cannot reproduce itself and expand it’s attack on human tissue and organs, it will eventually be killed by the bodies immune defenses.

This is part of Dear Nancy’s two part strategy as she revealed to CNN yesterday. The wrap around smear (finally got it right) to prepare for and initiate a new round of impeachment investigations. Bongino was discussing this scenario on his show earlier.

Part one is accusations that the President denied there was a crisis at the beginning,
Part two was delaying of supplies and support. Both not true. The good news is these daily briefings refute these accusations. Even if they do not cover them, there is a digital record and is date stamped for reference as proof of innocence.

The problem I see is that the President is being held hostage by the two doctors on VP Pence team. The Dems are just waiting for him to disagree one time, and there we go.

Expect much more intensity in this line of questioning.

I wrote about Bongino’s thesis on The Presidential forum. I am looking forward to Sundance’s opinion on this.
