Interesting how the deaths spiked just before the tentative end date to the quarantine. I thought we had the best healthcare system in the world. I find this all to be unusual.

The end of quarantine was too optimistic. Everyone should look at the 2009 H1N1 pandemic to see when it peaked (there were two peaks actually) and how long it took to resolve.

We have all missed the “shut downs” for each and every of the 100’s viruses that still float around the US daily and that are equally if not more deadly than this virus. Because there was none, and we are seeing the knee jerk reaction to the tragic situations flashed on TV screens being treated as the norm. Shuts down were not needed and social distancing just for “this virus” is all part of the BS to cause political and economic damage.

Aside from needing medical remedies specific to this virus NOT A SINGLE medical or non-medicinal remedy differs from those already applied for the 100’s of EXISTING viruses.

How many in hospital, ICU, zip codes, ages, etc (a small snap shot)

Anyone else have access to their local case info. ?

One thing I noticed, all deaths here, so far, have been F, which is statistically odd.

Basically the small the number the less reliable the trend. Only 5 cases are reported. It could be one or two female headed families. Older daughter(s) travel pick it up bring home and transmit to Mom, grandma. Add in familial health issue and you have a high mortality result for a small group.

There is a LOT about the distribution of infections that doesn’t fit logical patterns of travel if this virus originated in Wuhan China (so far there’s been no clear, credible evidence pointing elsewhere).

President Trump would not have tweeted about security for the Sussex duo if security had not been brought up by Buckingham Palace or British government to the USA State Department or to the President himself.
Because the USA and Britain are close allies, there is automatic security from the USA in conjunction with British security, for any member of the royal family when they visit the USA for any reason. The USA pays for security the USA government provides.
I read this information from several sources.

Posting this video again. If you are scared of the virus or know anyone scared or fear mongering the virus, send them this video. Video is from Dr David Price, pulmonary intensive care doc taking care of only Covid-19 patients for the last month. His Dad is an ER doc. It tells you how exactly how NOT to get it, when and if you should be tested, what to do if you get it, when to go to the hospital, the course of the disease if you are hospitalized. It is calming, reassuring & informative. He talks specifically about masks, who needs to wear them & what kind. That info really surprised me. The public does not need N-95 masks. It’s an hour long but well worth watching. I didn’t find it to be political. My husband, a doc who is still working (many are not) watched it and sent it to all his partners and staff.

My wife showed me video from her Mom and I did not like him he was wrong on many critical points including ignoring early in his conversation saying that you can only get it if you touch it. You can get it by just being near a person who is talking, coughing, or sneezing who has a high viral load.. Also a pulmonary intensive care doctor is NOT an infectious disease specialist and it showed based on his statements. Stick with health tips from infectious disease specialists IMHO. Saying you do not need N95 masks is misleading too given size of droplets in air if someone sneezes. This is false. N95 will definitely protect the wearer. However, any masks is a false sense of security if it is not USED properly as people pull it down to eat or they improperly touch the outside of the masks.

Paul Woll – Infectious disease specialist are not in the hospital taking care of these patients 24/7. This doctor is. I think you don’t understand the role of an infectious disease physicians in the hospital. They consult on what antibiotics, antivirals etc are given. They are not managing the hour to hour, day to day care of these patients.
One of the things that hit home with me is that he is no longer scared that he will contract Covid-19. He was emotional when he talked about this. I’m a retired ER nurse (33 years.) After watching this, I would not be scared.
Yes, you can get it from someone who has it sneezes, coughs or spits out saliva but those secretions would have to end up on your face. He clearly states that when there is a risk for a healthcare worker being exposed to droplets, an N-95 is necessary. He advocates for masks as a protective device to not touch your face. I was very reassured that this virus is spread by droplet and not aerosolized.
So much info in this video:
        Symptoms
        Who needs to get tested
Who doesn’t need to get tested
If you have Covid-19, when do you need to go to the hospital

  8. One thing I am noticing is that nowhere are total cases and death statistics being reported for the EU, only for individual countries. What happened to the EU? Does it still exist? What are the bureaucratic bozos in Brussels doing to save the EU? How’s that Globalism working for ya?

While the media loves to play up the USA having the largest number of cases, a quick spreadsheet of data from the latest worldometers.info summing up EU countries shows:

EU vs. USA: 2.7 times as many total cases, 9.5 times as many total deaths, 6.2 times as many critical cases, 37.7 times as many total cases/1M population and 77 times as many Deaths/1M population.

The flip side to that coin is that even though everyone was not tested, because of the 3-day wait for results, everyone he treated exhibited specific symptoms of the virus or another viral infection, like the flu, that may also progress to lethal respiratory distress syndrome in specific populations. The success rate of “his cocktail” still shows the “virus” is gone after 5 days. Add in a certain percentage who may have had a bacteria bronchitis or pneumonia onset. That’s covered by the zithromax.

The bottom-line question is: Does this cocktail work on other viruses and in the cases of bacterial respiratory infections, prevent secondary viral infections?

While stress can lower the immune system’s ability to fight off illnesses, it does not in itself cause the symptoms of a virus or bacterial infection. If someone has pseudo-symptoms, it would take some serious mental and emotional gymnastics to conjure up a fever and easily verified lung congestion. His nurses are evaluating everyone before he talks to them, then decides about treatment.

I don’t think people who have stress-related symptoms, but no physical ones, are numerically significant or included in his evaluations of this specific treatment.

I have read about the success of this in many places… but there is risk of blindness if one uses this as a prophylactic for extended period of time (over a year so do not get too worried), but other side effects can happen in shorter period of continuous use. Do not get me wrong though.. I think all doctors should be able to prescribe this as it is very promising.

Just as the world was beginning to return to some degree of sanity the magic WuHan Flu came along and threw a wet-blanket on the resurgence of We The People. It doesn’t diminish the fact that this virus is dangerous and we have to see it to the other side, but when it’s subsided, questions must be asked, questions must be answered!

Think of what was achieved by this virus:
    1) The Trump Train has been derailed “for now”
    2) The coup investigations have cover to acquit. “for now”
    3) The Global Warming freaks have stopped world commerce “for now”
4)The Marxist have suspended the Free Market “for now”
    5) The Yellow Vest’s protest in France “for now”
    6) Protest in Hong Kong “for now”
    7) The New World Order protects their fiefdoms “for now”
    8) Talks of BREXIT and the disillusion of the EU have been quelled “for now”
    9) B-B-B-Biden can be hidden from sight while the Cabal moves in for the fix “for now”
    10) The pedo investigations were getting to close to the cabal “Prince Andrew et al” “for now”
    11) You pick the things that are suspended from this latest deadly con “for now”
    12) …

After what we’ve seen that our government is willing to do when our Great President Trump and First Lady came down the escalators for the save. The entire swamp came together and unleashed the NSA, CIA, DOJ, FBI, IRS, DNC, RNC et al to stop this great man and his “Irredeemable Deplorable’s” . Anything and everything is on the table including Bio-Weapons. Make no mistake we and the USA are in the way of their NWO and if they have to kill us to keep the money and power in the “right” hands, well, sacrifices have to be made. Just so long it doesn’t include our “betters” and their broods.

We’ve allowed a small handful of people to commandeer the true levers of power and they believe we are 6billion too many. After what we have witnessed in the past 4.5 years, ask yourself:

    What wouldn’t they do?

I’m too old to believe in coincidences, the Wuhan Flu is far. far to convenient.

KAG! …by following our Great President Trumps lead as we navigate the latest salvo from the cabal. Take precautions to protect yourselves, wash your hands, social distancing, but be prepared at some point to come back and come back strong.

Hang tough, be cool and be prepared!

Were any of those patients in the hospital at the time they were treated? Do we know anything about the cases? Were they minor? The article mentioned “shortness of breath” but it doesn’t mean they were in any sort of serious danger. I question this unverified result. We shouldn’t be propagating info like this. It’s OK to be open minded about this drug combo but articles touting success rates are premature. Make sure the info you publish is factual especially at this time.

All the medications in the cocktail have been in wide use for many years and side effects can be monitored along with illness progression / cessation.

Wide opening in cities of walk in primary care clinics should happen yesterday to provide the early access and professional monitoring of patients presenting with symptoms.

I’m of the belief that this virus can be cured effectively. I’m also of the belief that this is a convenient nasty bug that was conveniently used to completely shut down our country. To not post treatments that doctors have used or have found effective is absurd. From what I read this is a horrible way to die. I think any and all successes in treatment should be shouted loud and proud. I know two people who are very sick with this. One looks to be on the mend, the other is fighting for her life. Any hope is good hope. I read another article last night about success using stem cell therapy. We have a great country when we are allowed to do what we do best. That is not happening.

First of all, it doesn’t matter if they were in the hospital. The initial purpose of utilizing it was to keep individuals OUT of the hospital. You prescribe Hydroxychloroquine at the first sign of symptoms, ESPECIALLY in high risk patients. All the good doctor need show is that every patient treated was COVID-19 positive. If everyone was, then given Hydroxychloroquine, then were NOT hospitalized due to the virus, that is called practicing good medicine. Saving resources, SAVING LIVES.

And no many people in NY are NOT tested according to many reports unless it is more severe of a condition. Project Veritas proved that.

And reducing virus spread early. Patients probably have significantly less viral load with 24 hours, and then less in 48 hours, etc.

Two fold positives, patients get better and reduce community spread by reducing viral load is less symptomatic patients.

There’s a great book called “The dose is the poison” – to sum it up water is great for you if you drink 8 8 oz. glasses of it a day, not so great if you get submerged in a body of water and can’t get out: it’s the amount of water consumed that makes it either healthy or deadly.

A person needs X dose of Covid-19 to get sick and became a transmitter of the disease and will continue transmitting until their viral load drops below Y. The theory behind chloroquine plus zinc makes sense: chloroquine opens the cell to receive Zinc and zinc destroys RNA viruses ability to replicate – the sooner you get the drug the better and less likely to develop worse symptoms.

People who go to ER and worsen in 8 hours probably waited until the were on the verge of the tipping point before receiving care. I can only assume the virus replicates exponentially in the body and there’s a point of no return. You need this treatment early, the “fast test” will significantly help but in the meantime people should get the treatment if it’s suspected they have it in order to reduce community transmission.

Counting from my 90 yr old Mom down to the youngest great, great grandchild there are 188 people, including 2 transplant recipients. Nobody is currently ill. A few had flu like symptoms in January and February which is nothing new. Extended that unofficial search out to the 400+ aunts, uncles and cousins and found that nobody has anything resembling a flu like illness. Anecdotal but if you believed the stats out there someone in a group of almost 600 should be sick.

A uniformed naval hospital staff and naval support staff is embarked when Comfort is deployed, said staffs consisting primarily of naval officers from the Navy’s Medical Corps, Dental Corps, Medical Service Corps, Nurse Corps, and Chaplain Corps, and naval enlisted personnel from the Hospital Corpsman rating and various administrative and technical support ratings (e.g., Yeoman, Personnel Specialist, Information Systems Technician, Religious Program Specialist, etc.).

    Dear Treepers
    Rant to follow
Remember the statement about statistics? There are statistics, damn statistics and lies!

I have no problem with the numbers folk keep putting up – but i have a big problem with the convulsive contusions.

I have NO PROBLEM with the President’s decision to extend the CDC recommendations and guidelines. In the first place, today is day 15 of the program to slow the spread. Did no one consider the consequences if that program did not do as intended?

And I take great exception to posters saying that POTUS should NOT listen to Dr Fauci and/or Dr Birx. Hey, how many of you are talking to the heads of 151 governments about the scope of the problem worldwide? How many of you are talking to 50 governors and heads of US territories at least once a day? Are you consulting with our FEMA general about conditions on the ground? How many of you are consulting with our Cabinet who are providing the whole of govenment input re: our response?

And as icing on the cake, remember that all the input is presented to our VSGPDJT’s BRAIN.
Bottom line, POTUS is not getting advice from only 2 people who are apparently seen as the face of bad advice upon which decisions are made.

I read comments for hours after the presser yesterday and more this morning. I have never in my adult life heard (read) such weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Buckle up snowflakes. I am sorry your lives are being disrupted. This is not the first time America has faced a world-wide or national crisis. I firmly believe in American ingenuity and inventiveness to get us out of this mess better than we were before.

It WILL END! and WE WILL GET THRU IT! TOGETHER !!!!!
And i believe our Great Lion when he assures us that when this is behind us – however long it takes – we will come roaring back and be greater than ever (which, I am sure that is what bothers the Left) POTUS has said many times during the last few months that we can recoup financial losses. We cannot bring back lives lost.

Another old adage springs to mind (paraphrase?). Never before have so few done so much for so many, working with so little. To me, in a nutshell, that is the work of our VSG P DJT

As you read through the posts here at CTH, from long-time posters as well as newer folks, the one thing that we all share is frustration. That frustration manifests itself in many ways. Many are truly worried about getting sick. Some are concerned about their job or small business. Many theories are discussed about how and why all this began and the responses to it. Some demand this or that be done or else. Frustration.

Three small suggestions from an old guy who isn’t licensed to do anything except drive and fish.

      – If you are able, step outside and look up. Be thankful for something good in your life.

        “What am I missing?”

OP – “any risk of exposing the body to sunshine while sheltering in place is clearly outweighed by the risk of COVID-19.”

In other words, the SMALL risk of being exposed to the sun’s UV rays (especially small in early Spring) is far less than the SIGNIFICANT risk of getting a potentially lethal case of covid-19. Sunlight and vitamin D are both claimed to be detrimental to the virus.

Of course, anyone who has been proven to be especially sensitive to direct sunlight (prior melanoma; or some prescription medications make one’s skin especially vulnerable) should know to not stay exposed for very long if at all.

To make it worse, brother is in the ER (physician), so the implication is that my support of the President is placing him (and his children/wife) in imminent danger of death. Such is life.

One small suggestion. Be the one who reaches out, unconditionally. Just an email, text or phone call every day or two. Don’t discuss politics or the virus. Just tell ’em you hope all is okay and to call you if they need anything. (If nothing else, this will drive ’em nuts trying to figure out what you’re up to!)

The terminal I work out of on W 73rd St. in Anderson, IN is right across from the Nestles facility. The trucks going into Nestles have been lined up down the street for the last five days running. 25 or more lined up at a time waiting in line to get in. I reckon this is all about restocking the warehouses and DCs from all the panic buying and hoarding.

Places like Honors foods on 5th Street in the “Bad Lands” of Philadelphia. • Governors have no power to “revoke medical licenses” nor to say what a clinician may or may not prescribe or do. If they threaten to do so, they should simply be removed from office. A clinician’s license may only be suspended or revoked for malpractice.

But these threats, empty though they might be, should be terrifying – that any leader anywhere would say such a thing.

Not necessarily true Mike. Medical Licenses are issued by an executive agencies of the States, i.e. State Boards. If the State Boards is willing to acquiesce to the direction of their state’s Governor, the License WILL be revoked. Most state certifying professional boards are politically staffed.

        Liked by 3 people

        • thedoc00 says:

The revocation will be for that state only and it would be up to the boards in states with reciprocal acceptance to decide on status of that license in their State.

It would set an interesting scenario, with a license issued by one state being revoked in the issuing state but not in other states with reciprocal agreements. States could and would likely issue a license on the spot in these instances to draw medical staff to their states.

Idiotic proclamations as are being made by the Governors is going to create a flight of medical staff from their states. So, not only will they drive out businesses but life saving medical staff as well.

            Very little “brainwashing” required.

If one omits knowledge and then does not equip students with training in critical thinking, the same result as “brainwashing” occurs with allot less hassle and mental damage to the impacted students. The result is a more willfully compliant and useful subject. The major risk is that a few students start to notice something is wrong and acquire the omitted education on their own. That is how spark of liberation occur and backlash can be brutal. This is all a race between democrats and Uni-Party gaining control vs the awakening being inspired by President Trump.
