***Today’s WeBuildTheWall / Fisher Industries posts***
    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/03/29/march-29th-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1165/comment-page-1/#comment-7995525)

Note: Most of the WBTW related social media accounts are covering coronavirus, politics, or illegal alien crimes. We will probably be in a quiet period regarding wall content until the next project(s) are near completion.
The praises (much of which are older news) have been provided for those who wish to give thanks for them before praying for the wall prayer requests. I may add to, trim back, or simplify from time to time as projects/events progress or come to completion. If there is any new wall news I’ll list them in the update below. Otherwise, feel free to page down or scroll past.
    – – – – –
    Sunday night update – 3/29/20

    – 🙏 Tweets about Amanda Shea’s 14 year old son who may have the Covid-19. Please keep him in your prayers.

    – Retweet with latest update mentioning how “Dr. Zelenko In NY Has Now Treated 699 Coronavirus Patients With 100% Success”.
    – Instagram post of video with cell tracking image showing how Florida spring brakers who had gathered at the beach eventually dispersed into the general population in various parts of the country.

    – Tweet with POTUS photo and quote.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Sunland Park, NM)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to “shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.”
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 2 complete: Feb 17)… Fisher Industries was able to build 3.5 miles of wall along the Rio Grande River in Mission, Texas. Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain.

***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise: (Feb 6)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, passed AZ House on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and health for the work crews and their families while they stay home during the temporary work shutdown; for safety and good weather for the work crews when they start up work again on Project 3, 4, & 5; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion
    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal teams, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, 5 and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that the design is sound and that WBTW/Fisher Industries are capable of safely and effectively building it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas
    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.

Still a ways to go, but feeling better about the fight against the Invisible Enemy every day.

I thought POTUS’ virus presser was the best one yet. Completely in command, embarrassed the media, and gave hope and reassurance. VPOTUS has been strong in these briefings as well.

Next two weeks are likely to be rough. But, hopefully, the USA can start to rally hard from there.

This has been in the news all day in Ohio. Battelle is a huge non-profit research lab located in Columbus, and they have been working on this technology since 2016. Battelle has 3 of these units operational and had already sent one to New York City, with the other en route to Washington State. Battelle had to BEG the FDA for an emergency authorization for this system, which can sanitize 80,000 N95 masks a day. This afternoon, after DeWine’s phone call with POTUS, the FDA gave Battelle an EUA for 10,000 masks per day, in one system–the one in Ohio. It refused to authorize at full capacity or authorize for out-of-state use. Apparently POTUS was very active behind the scenes, because late Sunday night, the FDA related and gave approval to run all the units at 100% capacity nationwide. https://youtu.be/mRNtDMF6FIc

Yes AdRem it was posted here before. The PLA knew about it, and with Xi’s approval covered it up.

For that they deserve a reckoning, as they continued and still continue to cover their knowledge of the disease up, from censoring their own doctors to disappearing them, Including their very vocal, using western media platforms through the MFA officials to spread disinformation.

Having said that, it is separate from the gene sequencing done by US, Australia, UK virologists using many data base sampling from different sources.

I posted the studies here, they are published.

What one can derive from these studies is that the jump from animal reservoirs to humans happened over many years, undetected in the PRC until they were faced with an outbreak that became undeniable.

      And the rest is history.

I guess my post was dumped. Well cut to the chase.

Here is the studies I posted yesterday.

Coronavirus: pathogen could have been spreading in humans for decades, study says
Virus may have jumped from animal to humans long before the first detection in Wuhan, according to research by an international team of scientists
Findings significantly reduce the possibility of the virus having a laboratory origin, director of the US National Institute of Health says

      Excerpt:

“The coronavirus that causes Covid-19 might have been quietly spreading among humans for years or even decades before the sudden outbreak that sparked a global health crisis, according to an investigation by some of the world’s top virus hunters.
Researchers from the United States, Britain and Australia looked at piles of data released by scientists around the world for clues about the virus’ evolutionary past, and found it might have made the jump from animal to humans long before the first detection in the central China city of Wuhan.“

The flu takes many llves because so many Americans refuse to get vaccines.

Can you imagine how few lives the flu would take if Americans who didn’t get inoculated actually DID so?

Americans who are inoculated each year for flu can feel relatively safe going on about their daily lives. There is still a chance they could catch it, but its effects are lessened by their inoculation.

Those who didn’t get the flu vaccine also benefit from the vaccinations because they aren’t around as many compromised individuals during the season.

There is no such protection with this pathogen. That’s why it’s so dangerous….and add to that, it’s 3 times more contagious as most flu pathogens.

Please, everyone, STOP comparing apples and oranges. The death counts of seasonal flu contrasted with the death counts of co-vid 19 in meaningless in light of the above. Our social distancing, our not being at work is one other HUGE reason the numbers are so different.

I posted this on the “This too shall pass” but feel inclined to post a variation of it again.

I have seen some really brutal responses to people that are obviously in a total panic. We need to be sensitive to them. There are many people that cannot go a week without income, much less a month. The 1st is days away, and that intensifies fear for many.

I thank God many times a day that I am able to weather a rough patch, but I can only imagine what the fear would be like if I was at the end of my resources. Especially if I had children at home. I have been there before. That is a terrifying place to be. Very hard to harness that kind of fear.

I can tell the difference between a troll and a good person that is truly afraid. Whether neighbors, strangers or treepers, please show compassion to those that are afraid.

True, but we need to get the economy moving. Things will happen. The United States did not shut down the economy during wartime. We need to have perspective and a cool head. RE-OPEN THE ECONOMY in areas and counties with zero cases and continue guidelines. Focus containment in large, populated counties that have high # of cases. We cannot keep the economy in limbo. That is just as bad if not worse. Love the post from Katie Hopkins.

Much has been said about the legal ability of the gov’t to restrain the rights of Americans of late.
They say epidemics take special actions and special powers.
The framers of the constitution were well aware of Plague, Cholera, Smallpox and more but they didn’t see fit to include exemptions in times of mass sickness.
As to how long we should all be locked in, during the times of Black Plague, ships coming into ports in the Med would be isolated for 30 days (a trentino) that was increased to 40 days (a quarentino) That’s where we get quarantine.
I figure the last major pest infection America had took eight years to get rid of, this one should go quicker.

Saw a number of gloomy and defeatist comments on the Coronavirus Press Conference thread – one in particular about the market falling like a stone tomorrow.

Well it may in fact do so, but for other reasons. What the market hates more than anything is uncertainty. The market knew that the the President’s aspirational date was just that – aspirational. They had that priced in. But it gave them a degree of certainty, which stopped the rot.

I would have bet that the market likely had priced in a date at least 2 weeks beyond that when the 15-day period was up. It was good to get that change of date out ASAP.

Lo and behold, as of right now the futures market for the Dow and S&P are flat.

So much for the shift to April 30 news constituting a stone.

“The authors of the French study last week published the results of an additional 80 hospitalized patients receiving a combination of HC and AZ. By day eight of treatment, 93% showed a negative nasopharyngeal swab for the virus. “This allowed patients to rapidly be discharged from highly contagious wards with a mean length of stay of five days,” the authors write. “Other teams should urgently evaluate this cost-effective therapeutic strategy, to both avoid the spread of the disease and treat patients as soon as possible before severe respiratory irreversible complications take hold.”

I love this President beyond, but on this I have an inside perspective.

Healthcare workers would go through a tremendous amount of PPE. Let’s say you have ONE patient in isolation – what that means is that every single person that enters that room must gown, glove, and as indicated mask or goggle up. In the case of COVID-19, my assumption is the latter two are included. That means every housekeeper, maintenance worker, nurse, physician, resident, respiratory therapist, nurse aide/orderly, lab technician, X-ray technician, consulting physicians, other healthcare workers like PT/OT/SLP, dietary staff – 24/7 over all 3 shifts. That ONE patient has a hamper in their room for disposal of the PPE before any staff leave that room. The PPE cannot be reused. Now, imagine how much PPE you go through.

Generally speaking, on standard med/surg, rehab, or LTC units an acute care (hospital) or long-term care (LTAC, SNF, NF) would have about 1-2 maybe 3 patients in isolation on average at any given time. COVID-19 has increased that number greatly in “hotbed” areas.

The reporters should look into it??? How about asking the DOJ to actually do their job and look into it?

At ER of large Regional Hospital about 15 miles NW of Dallas with my 85 yr old dad for chest pains right now. Seems like everything ok. Hospital seems to be running very well. Very timely service. All workers in masks and everyone stopped at door to get in ER. Seemingly great procedures. 0 patients in hall. They definitely have some Covid-19, but ER is split in half with “hot zone” and nurses do not cross-over. Any others quarantined upstairs. Said maybe “handful” or so of Covid-19. Nobody knew actual #, but certainly are not currently overwhelmed. They try to send home. Said they just started getting tests in. Have to send off to get results. Takes at least 2 days to get results. Not doing Hydroxychloroquine Z pack, etc. Let me stay with my Dad because Alzheimers, but barely. I had on N95 mask and had to do some convincing. Guard said they had similar case earlier and did not let “visitor” in.

LA Times: California once had mobile hospitals and a ventilator stockpile. But it dismantled them

    March 27, 2020

“They were ready to roll whenever disaster struck California: three 200-bed mobile hospitals that could be deployed to the scene of a crisis on flatbed trucks and provide advanced medical care to the injured and sick within 72 hours.

“Each hospital would be the size of a football field, with a surgery ward, intensive care unit and X-ray equipment. Medical response teams would also have access to a massive stockpile of emergency supplies: 50 million N95 respirators, 2,400 portable ventilators and kits to set up 21,000 additional patient beds wherever they were needed.

“In 2006, citing the threat of avian flu, then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger announced the state would invest hundreds of millions of dollars in a powerful set of medical weapons to deploy in the case of large-scale emergencies and natural disasters such as earthquakes, fires and pandemics.

“In light of the pandemic flu risk, it is absolutely a critical investment,” he told a news conference. “I’m not willing to gamble with the people’s safety.”

“The state, flush with tax revenue, soon sank more than $200 million into the mobile hospital program and a related Health Surge Capacity Initiative to stockpile medicines and medical gear for use in outbreaks of infectious disease, according to former emergency management officials and state budget records….”

“And so, that year, [Brown, economic slump] the state cut off the money to store and maintain the stockpile of supplies and the mobile hospitals. The hospitals were defunded before they’d ever been used.”

The equipment was given to hospitals, some likely sold to other countries.

Governor Brown was unavailable for comment.

“Together, these two programs would have positioned California to more rapidly respond as its COVID-19 cases exploded. The annual savings for eliminating both programs? No more than $5.8 million per year, according to state budget records, a tiny fraction of the 2011 budget, which totaled $129 billion….”

“…“These supplies were exactly for this scenario,” he said. [Dr. Howard Backer.]

“Through a spokesperson, Brown, the former governor, declined to be interviewed for this story. Officials in the state Department of Finance declined to comment. Officials with the state Public Health Department declined interviews and provided only brief written answers to some questions, declining to provide a full accounting of the stockpile.”

No one will day what happened to the 21,000 emergency hospital beds.

The CALPERS and the Train to Nowhere were Moonbeam’s higher priorities.

Take away his $120,000/year pension and use it to rebuild the emergency stockpile. Not much but at least a start.
Moonbeam doesn’t deserve a penny of his pension.

      Boo on Moonbeam
