MUCH to give praise for! See the link below for a GREAT, uplifting and joyous video from yesterday… PDJT and leaders of the Black community in the White House. Diamond and Silk, Terrence, Alveda King, Candace Owens and many more. You’ll cry tears of happiness and joy…I mean it. Check out the beginning where every member introduces themselves. Don’t miss the ending prayer. Enjoy. (Especially if the Left’s attempts to weaponize Coronavirus fears and stock market fears have upset you.)

    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/02/27/february-27th-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1134/comment-page-1/#comment-7889212)

    – – – – –
    Thursday night update – 2/27/20

    – Tweet with teaser video at Project 2.
    – Misc. photos and a video from CPAC.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Began building over Memorial Day weekend in Sunland Park, NM., just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, TX.)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.) (2 days of posts here & here.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Feb 17)… Project 2 is complete. (Not sure if they finished the planting/seeding of the last stretch of the river bank yet though; perhaps they are waiting to finish during the optimal planting window for the area.)

***Praise: Fisher has taken the lead on Project 2, covering most of the money for the wall($22M bank loan; total cost is ~$42M). (Haven’t heard any more about other investors with the exception of WBTW as a minor investor. Fisher plans to sell Project 2 back to the government for $14M per mile, or $16.5 million with 10 years of complete upkeep included.)
***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise:🇺🇸 (12/22/19)… Brian Kolfage was awarded Patriot of the Year award by Turning Point USA at their Student Action Summit.
***Praise: (Reported on 1/22-23/20)… WBTW gained a major construction equipment company as a corporate sponsor & are looking for more. (See prayer below for specifics.)
***Praise: (Jan 22)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, moved out of the Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and good weather for the work crews as they work on Project 3 & 4; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.
    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier next who wants to be involved.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Jan 22)… Bill passed out of Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor as one Republican sided with the Democrats.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal team, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that WBTW/Fisher Industries can rapidly complete large sections of wall, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that this wall would prove that the design is sound and they are able to safely and effectively build it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley (Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain)
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas

    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.
(This, in addition to ongoing fundraising from public/investors, will allow WBTW/Fisher Industries to continue to self fund projects, build their reputation/resume, while they continue to pursue other avenues which could lead to government contracts down the road.)

Coronavirus far more likely than Sars to bond to human cells due to HIV-like mutation, scientists say
Research by team from Nankai University shows new virus has mutated gene similar to those found in HIV and Ebola
Finding may help scientists understand how the infection spreads and where it came from

Indian researchers and Thailand were the first to identify the link. The Indian paper was rushed out before peer review, then withdrawn. Now Nankai researchers have found similar evidence as have French researchers (their HIV research is top in the world next to the US). Published in ‘ Antiviral Research’ on 10 February.

Barr always was, and is swamp. Hardly a clean past.

He made a few speeches filled with platitudes about the constitution when he was appointed. And once used the word ‘spying.’ Since then? Over a year later?

The glass may be half empty or half full depending on your degree of optimism.

But he hardly has been a ‘wingman’ to any degree. Not even a verbal team player for the President. And AGs of the past left no doubt about their loyalty and advocacy to their bosses policies. No one expects him to break laws for partisan reasons, but at least represent justice and the constitution and be objective and enforce them.

Seems like he has a character flaw and misplaced sense of values if he can’t acknowledge that institutions are corruptible because the people running them intentionally make them so. All he seems to see at most are incompetent bureaucrats, not wilful coup plotters.

    • Jim in TN says:

I expect Barr to enforce laws fairly regardless of politics.

The list of people Barr has failed to bring to Justice is long. For many TCH readers it is a list of hope that Barr and Durham will, someday, start doing the right thing.

But Barr’s track record does not justify such Hope. Not in the past, and not now. But people only see what the want to see. At least I don’t see that.

For those who want me to see the evidence that justifies their hope, please list for me the times Barr has brought justice to criminals within the establishment. List for me the punishments he doled out to those who abused their power in the DOJ. And list the Trump supporters Barr saved from abuse by the DOJ.

As an example of people hearing what they wanted to hear, remember when Barr told the Senate that spying did happen. Most Democrats were scandalized. Most Republicans were grateful. But Barr didn’t stop their. He also said there is nothing wrong with spying per se. But the Democrats were too wrapped up in being scandalized to hear the hope he was holding out to them. And he said it just needed to be properly predicated.

Right then and there Barr laid out a path for future spying on Presidents. Legalized spying on Presidents. Did none of them wonder that the same path would legalize spying on any American? Including Senators, Representatives, and Supreme Court Justices.? If any of them heard him, they didn’t show it. They surely did not react to it, or its implications.

And Barr has held true to other aspects that he laid out in his testimony that day. Particularly his support of Wray and how the FBI has taken too much of the blame. So now Durham is investigating the IC. Funny that. And Barr supports Wray loud and clear every chance he gets.

But do you really think Barr will go hard on Clapper, Brennan, Yates and Rice? Not taking down Comey or McCabe when there is hard evidence against them does not encourage hope, especially against Yates who was DOJ.

But that is what I choose to see. I still have a little hope that Clinesmith will be punished for altering data and committing fraud on the court. But I will not be surprised to hear that he, like Wolfe, insists to call powerful people as witnesses, and somehow gets a sweetheart deal.

Please, show me the hard evidence that backs up your hope. The evidence that I seem unable to see.

      • Linda K. says:

I feel Barr calling for a clean renewal of the FISA, with his record of non prosecution for Comey and McCabe , really hurts my opinion on him. He is….lawyerly.

Chinese Destroyer Lases U.S. Navy P-8A Plane Operating Near Guam

A Chinese destroyer lased a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft that was operating over international waters about 380 miles west of Guam, the U.S. Pacific Fleet said in a statement.

The laser could not be seen by a human eye but was captured by sensors on the airplane, which is a variant of the Boeing 737 that has been upgraded with sensors and systems to support tracking surface and undersea targets.

The incident, which PACFLT called “unsafe and unprofessional,” took place on Feb. 17 and was just announced by the Navy.

Weapons-grade lasers could potentially cause serious harm to aircrew and mariners, as well as ship and aircraft systems, PACFLT noted in its statement.

The destroyer involved appears to be Hohhot, a Type 052D or Luyang III-class destroyer in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy. This destroyer, pennant number 161, is among the newer Chinese destroyers and entered the fleet last year, according to news reports.

The PACFLT statement says the lasing violates both bilateral and multilateral agreements between the U.S. Navy and PLAN, including a 2014 agreement that specifically notes that the use of lasers could cause harm to personnel or damage to equipment.

Looks like XI-nobyl doesn’t give a damn about the so- called friendship with the President.

You would think he would rethink that, he is skating on thin ice, I’m in charge of the coronavirus debacle. Now let’s attack the US. Great strategy. Not.

    • jrapdx says:

Seems like a risky thing for China to do. AIUI the US is developing laser-based weapons, not sure when they’ll be deployed, but when they are online seems a poor idea to risk having one’s destroyer be destroyed by laser returned fire. Short of that, I’d imagine President Trump would be inclined to be less charitable toward China’s multiple plights given provocative behaviors of the sort described.

A rational person would think there could be little doubt of President Trump’s resolve in protecting US interests. But I guess it wouldn’t surprise me too much to find out there are those who still underestimate him. A quick look at the Democrats and the media proves the point quite effectively.

No doubt we don’t want to depend on China for any essentials. The pharmaceutical industry has long been international, with most firms having manufacturing dispersed to facilities in many places.

I take a number of medications myself, and a quick survey of some of my prescriptions shows them being made in USA, Canada, Ireland, India, Israel. None is marked China. However that reflects that it’s the manufacturing of substrates, that is, raw ingredients that is concentrated in China.

It’s the basic production of those substrates that needs to be repatriated. I’m sure countries like India and many others would be glad to take over. I’d have to check on the details but as I recall manufacturing low-level chemical components is not a high-value operation vs. producing finished pharmaceuticals where the big bucks are generated.

Gee that destroyer looks like a copy of US Arleigh Burke design (2008). Wonder how they go those design documents??

Note the date of the design’s introduction to service. China was a regular customer at internal US Government Servers via the links on the Clinton, DNC and White House servers that gave them access information if not outright links.

When it comes to the DoJ hard to say what’s possible or not. Could be Durham is already authorized to issue indictments, whether he’d seek Barr’s approval is another matter. But one guess is as good as another re: what rules are in place in the DoJ these days. Time will tell what happens with Durham’s “investigations”, if anything happens at all.

Of course one theory is that nothing’s going to happen before the November elections, afterwards the President will be emboldened by victory and indictments will flow like water. As Mom always said, “I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for it to happen.” I always took that to be sage advice.

IMO, we need to have legal cases to be brought forward. Like lying under oath, that ultimately leads to actually doctoring evidence. They must be criminal under US law, not vague or overt political expression such as, ‘ I hate the President’. It may speak to motive, but the DOJ needs actual proof that the laws were violated, not just departmental‘ guidelines’ that lead to dismissals. A punishment of sorts.

So if you want indictments, they must be violations of law. If you want moral justifications for violating the spirit of law and decency, you have to just convince the public that when they vote they turn the bastards out.

        • jrapdx says:

Reading comments on this site a great many people think there already is a mountain of evidence for criminal conduct among many of the conspirators against POTUS. But if I get what you’re saying, it takes a lot more than impressionistic summaries to constitute “evidence” in a court of law. Whether publicly available information meets such a threshold is beyond my ability to say, but conceivably deficiencies in the body of evidence are an impediment to prosecution.

But the crowd demands that heads will roll and won’t be satisfied with mere legal necessity to have ducks in a row. In any case there are plenty of bastards that should be unceremoniously tossed out of office. Of course that requires doing the hard work of convincing voters to elect someone else to the position, or God forbid, actually running for office oneself. Whining is easy, doing the job is a great deal more demanding.

They can’t publically call him out, without clear, convincing evidence that he is doing nothing. Even if they knew when he was appointed by Barr that his ‘review’, later declared a “criminal investigation” would go nowhere.

Same thing worked with Huber, and bought what,…a year and a half?

Barr’s expiration date is Nov 4-5, Wrays too. Until then, we’re stuck with them, unfortunately.

He could indict whoever he has evidence against. However, in this case he is doing the investigation at the behest of AG Barr because the matter being investigated is out of AAG Durham’s district of responsibility. Since that is the case he would need the AG’s permission to seek an indictment.

Also, I believe that AAG Durham was asked to investigate and prepare a report of his findings to AG Barr. So, what everyone is waiting for is a report of findings and possibly recommendations rather that indictments. In times past, in cases involving extremely powerful people and their flunkies, the AG would receive the report because it would appear as if the head of the organization was handling everything. But prior to anything being done, the AG would report to his boss, the President, advise him of the contents and findings, and then move forward with whatever actions were going to be taken.

What should have be done in the McCabe case is that AG Barr should have met with President Trump and advised him of the actions that about to be taken. Maybe that was done, but judging from President Trump’s public reaction it does not look like it happened that way.

MUST READ: GreatGameIndia released a series of articles on the corona virus presently spreading around the world that includes one by Dr. Francis Boyle, professor of international law at the U. of Illinois College of Law, admitting that the Wuhan virus IS an offensive biological weapon. Worse? The World Health Organization already knew about it. This article is lengthy with many links, but in short, this virus has traveled from Saudi to Canada to Wuhan, being weaponized along the way. Further bad news from the video below is the number of labs worldwide that are involved in producing similar weapons (all ripe for stealing).

Prof. Boyle being at the U. of IL suggests why the Illlinois Public Health Dept. might have been the first to offer test kits outside the federal CDC, as I commented yesterday.

So, nothing concrete could be assessed. I noticed from the other posts here on CTH that most of the reliable actions and data has been or is being generated by nations OUTSIDE China Inc.’s borders.

China Inc. is going to leak these early dates to fan the TDS outbreak and Market Volatility in the US. They omit that they lied, refused US help, expelled journalists and started the “race card” bating now being spewed by the US media.

Israeli scientists: ‘In a few weeks, we will have coronavirus vaccine’

    • spoogels says:

But after scientists sequenced the DNA of the novel coronavirus causing the current worldwide outbreak, the MIGAL researchers examined it AND FOUND THAT THE POULTRY CORONAVIRUS HAS HIGH GENETIC SIMILARITY TO THE HUMAN ONE,AND IT USES THE SAME INFECTION MECHANISM, which increases the likelihood of achieving an effective human vaccine in a very short period of time, Katz said.

“All we need to do is adjust the system to the new sequence,” he said. “We are in the middle of this process, and hopefully in a few weeks we will have the vaccine in our hands. Yes, in a few weeks, if it all works, we would have a vaccine to prevent coronavirus.”
MIGAL would be responsible for developing the new vaccine, but it would then have to go through a regulatory process, including clinical trials and large-scale production, Katz said.
Akunis said he has instructed his ministry’s director-general to fast-track all approval processes with the goal of bringing the human vaccine to market as quickly as possible.

“Given the urgent global need for a human coronavirus vaccine, we are doing everything we can to accelerate development,” MIGAL CEO David Zigdon said. The vaccine could “achieve safety approval in 90 days,” he said.

It will be an oral vaccine, making it particularly accessible to the general public, Zigdon said.

    • rashomon says:

In the video above, Prof. Boyle suggests a vaccine already exists. He has the patent in hand, but has not had the time to read it. As usual, this goes back further than we are being told. China, especially, has not been open about the situation and has allowed many people in and out of its borders who were infected.

    • spoogels says:

      I quote again:

For the past four years, a team of MIGAL scientists has been developing a vaccine against INFECTIOUS BRONCHITIS VIRUS (IBV) WHICH CAUSES A BRONCHIAL DISEASE AFFECTING POULTRY. The effectiveness of the vaccine has been proven in preclinical trials carried out at the Veterinary Institute.

now this which I researched yesterday:

Sambucus nigra extracts inhibit infectious bronchitis virus (Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is a pathogenic chicken coronavirus) at an early point during replication.

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is a pathogenic chicken coronavirus. Currently, vaccination against IBV is only partially protective; therefore, better preventions and treatments are needed. Plants produce antimicrobial secondary compounds, which may be a source for novel anti-viral drugs. Non-cytotoxic, crude ethanol extracts of Rhodiola rosea roots, Nigella sativa seeds, and Sambucus nigra fruit were tested for anti-IBV activity, since these safe, widely used plant tissues contain polyphenol derivatives that inhibit other viruses.

These results demonstrate that S. nigra extract can inhibit IBV at an early point in infection, probably by rendering the virus non-infectious. They also suggest that future studies using S. nigra extract to treat or prevent IBV or other coronaviruses are warranted.

SAMBUCUS NIGRA is in a over the counter cold and flu medication called SAMBUCOL-Available from /iHerb/Vitacost

I’m not saying its a cure but it can help slow the viral infection

Better known as Elderberry – very, very effective. While I don’t have a link, I read an article recently that talked about a study that was done on the 1918 “Spanish” flu that killed so many people worldwide. They discovered that the areas where there was consistent consumption of Elderberry Wine and Elderberry Vodka did not suffer the same illness and death rates in other places.

I won’t be doing any vaccine. IMO the best thing you can do is wash your hands frequently — especially coming in from being in the public and maintain a strong immune system that helps ward off many viruses. I take Elderberry every day along with Vit D3, Vit C, Zinc, Colloidal Silver and other things. I have not had a viral infection in recent years, despite being exposed to it many times (new grandchildren and family have had several rounds of it and I haven’t gotten sick).

American Indians used to use elderberries as a medicinal tea — about a teaspoon of dried berries, steeped in a cup of boiling water, sweeten with honey.

You can cultivate your own elderberry shrubs, plants available online. Note that 2 different cultivars are necessary to produce berries. You can harvest the berries, freeze them and use as needed.

Xi Jinping has buried the truth about coronavirus
    Ma Jian

Over the past 70 years, the Chinese Communist party has subjected its country to a succession of manmade catastrophes, from the Great Famine, the Cultural Revolution and the Tiananmen Square massacre, to the forceful suppression of rights in Hong Kong and Tibet, and the mass internment of Uighurs in Xinjiang. Official coverups and corruption have multiplied the death toll of natural calamities, from the Sars virus to the Sichuan earthquake.

Xi Jinping’s mishandling of the coronavirus epidemic must now be added to the party’s shameful list of crimes. With serious outbreaks occurring in Japan, South Korea, Iran and Italy, it is clear that the virus of Xi’s totalitarian rule threatens the health and freedoms not only of the Chinese people, but of all of us everywhere.

Xi’s vacuous, self-aggrandising ideological vision lies at the heart of this global crisis. When he was appointed party leader in 2012, he announced his “China dream” of national rejuvenation, promising that the country would be moderately prosperous by the party’s 2021 centenary, and fully advanced into global economic hegemony by the republic’s centenary in 2049. Xi vowed that, by then, the world would concede that his one-party dictatorship is superior to the mess of liberal democracy.

The reaction to the outbreak has revealed the unreconstructed despotism of the Chinese state

That’s what this new measure requires, according to the video clip above.

We know she committed a crime here (bigamy) but that does not sound as if it rises to the level required in this measure. So she would still be subject to our own (mostly in-)justice system for her bigamy and would not lose her citizenship.

The best way to get her butt out of our Congress is probably simply the vote. Give the House a very strong majority that might be able to do something about expelling her or at least banishing her to the Capitol basement – that is, if her own district doesn’t do the obvious job of canning her.

The DementoRats tied Devin Nunes up in knots over a bogus ethics investigation for over a year. Ilhan fully deserves a substantive ethics charge, investigation, conviction of such…
