***Today’s WeBuildTheWall / Fisher Industries posts***
    (Previous posts: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2020/02/25/february-25th-2020-presidential-politics-trump-administration-day-1132/comment-page-1/#comment-7883532)

    – – – – –
    Tuesday night update – 2/25/20

    – Jeff Rainforth tweet with 4 photos at Project 2.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Began building over Memorial Day weekend in Sunland Park, NM., just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, TX.)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.) (2 days of posts here & here.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 (Feb 17)… Project 2 is complete. (Not sure if they finished the planting/seeding of the last stretch of the river bank yet though; also, there probably is some cleanup left.)

***Praise: Fisher has taken the lead on Project 2, covering most of the money for the wall($22M bank loan; total cost is ~$42M). (Haven’t heard any more about other investors with the exception of WBTW as a minor investor. Fisher plans to sell Project 2 back to the government for $14M per mile, or $16.5 million with 10 years of complete upkeep included.)
***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise:🇺🇸 (12/22/19)… Brian Kolfage was awarded Patriot of the Year award by Turning Point USA at their Student Action Summit.
***Praise: (Reported on 1/22-23/20)… WBTW gained a major construction equipment company as a corporate sponsor & are looking for more. (See prayer below for specifics.)
***Praise: (Jan 22)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill, HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, moved out of the Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and good weather for the work crews as they work on Project 3 & 4; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted until completion.
    – for WBTW/Fisher Industries regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier next who wants to be involved.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Jan 22)… Bill passed out of Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor as one Republican sided with the Democrats.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal team, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that WBTW/Fisher Industries can rapidly complete large sections of wall, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that this wall would prove that the design is sound and they are able to safely and effectively build it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley (Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain)
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas

    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.
(This, in addition to ongoing fundraising from public/investors, will allow WBTW/Fisher Industries to continue to self fund projects, build their reputation/resume, while they continue to pursue other avenues which could lead to government contracts down the road.)

My favorite Grandpa Simpson episode ever, Lisa & Bart wrote an episode of the Itchy And Scratchy show and sent it in with Abe’s name on it since you had to be an adult to enter the contest. So they won, and the Itchy & Scratchy show called Abe at the retirement home to tell him he won.

Abe Simpson – “Hello? Who’s this?”
“Sir, this is the Itchy And Scratchy Show, we’re calling about the script you sent us.”
Abe – “What? I didn’t write no script!”

Grandpa Simpson: “We can’t bust heads like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to tell ’em stories that don’t go anywhere – like the time I caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on ’em. “Give me five bees for a quarter,” you’d say. Now where were we? Oh yeah: The important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn’t have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones ….”

When you have all the details surrounding the Wolfe case and resolution, how can Schiff-for-brains have any concern there will be negative consequences to him for leaking?

Yes, lieing on the House floor IS protected under speech and debate clause, but lieing OFF the floor, to reporters and the American people, and leaking classified information, and lieing about what the classified information actually says, SHOULD engender some SERIOUS negative consequence.

Its like he and the Uniparty have been getting away with so much, for so long, that they are now confident they can get away with ANYTHING, with -0- consequences.

And so far, they are correct.

Unfortunately, having politicians and buerocrats taking a pledge is as meaningless as campaign promises; means NOTHING.

After all, Barr ‘promises’ there will be no FISA abuse, ‘on his watch’, and Obama said “you can keep your Doctor”, remember?

      • Jerry Joe says:

Perhaps Schiff has effluophobia; after all, he is a chronic leaker. Perhaps POTUS could appoint Schiff as Attorney General for a few days so we can finally read some of these documents Barr refuses to “give up”.

      • Why should purposeful lying or slander be “protected under speech and debate clause” anywhere? Yes, you should be entitled to make a speech or engage in debate that is not popular, without fear of being arrested, but a deliberate tort against another person should not be without repercussions. Likewise lying to Congress, when you happen to be a Member. Adam Schiff, for example, purposely and knowingly lied to his own committee, and did so both to interfere with the workings of that committee and to libel and slander the President. These torts should not be without consequences, legal and otherwise. I don’t believe that this is the sort of lawlessness that our Founders intended to protect.

And WHO would write and pass a law, making such behavior illegal?
          Oh, yeah thats right. Congress.
The HOUSE has ‘rules’ regarding members conduct.
According to the House rules, Nanzi violated when she walked off, while in session awhile back.
And, tearing up the SOTU speech was probably in violation of House rules, as well as the Law.
They have mostly exempted themselves from the laws imposed on us.
They don’t have to comply with OSHA, discrimination in hiring, sexual harrassment, ACA, or many other laws.

Orange County, CA city Costa Mesa likely to house coronavirus patients:

I’m from Orange County. When I heard Costa Mesa, I thought maybe something’s afoot, but I just don’t know what exactly. Odd city to choose. It has an internationally famous luxury mall, South Coast Plaza, which attracts Chinese tourists en masse – I eat there a few times a year, the place is always flooded with them. They come from China on trips to do their shopping there, maybe stay a few nights and go to Disneyland, then fly back to China:

Like I said, maybe just a coincidental choice of city…

I saw them mentioning Costa Mesa yesterday and knew they were thinking of the old Fairview Hospital (It’s shuttered down, last I heard) near the Orange County Fairgrounds (that’s where Candidate Trump had his April 2016 Costa Mesa, CA rally & our first rally we attended.) I used to visit the hospital for some college classes and it is a mental institution, as we used to call it back when.

The mayor of Costa Mesa has raised a hissy fit, being concerned of the improper venting of the old hospital’s venting system, and possible spouting virus into the air where there’s many people around it. If I recall, there some kind of a Junior college nearby, too.

So I haven’t heard if they’ll follow thru with it, or if it was just an suggestion. This would be a fun way to troll and rattle Gavin Newsom and his auntie…lol

Why don’t they put the patients in San Francisco, since they have now declared ‘Frisco a State of Emergency today even when there is no cases of coronavirus yet? I’m sure Nazi Nasty Nancy can loan her home for the patients…Pfffth..

Yes, Orange Coast College, that’s it.
We were at South Coast Plaza/Crystal Court last summer and we said the same thing. It has changed so much from decades ago.

Our district, for the first time ever, flipped to Blue in 2018. It was such a thundershock to all of us. Then we found out last week that our Rep doesn’t even live in our district–that “Maxine Waters’ trick”. He lives in Newport Beach!!! People are going to try to vote him out. I don’t care for the Repub candidate. She never once said she’s a Trump supporter or even acknowledge Donald Trump. It’s why she lost 2 years ago as another Repub candidate was a huge Trump supporter….the votes got split between the two of them…and then there’s that ballot harvesting as well. It was a nightmare mess for us all afterwards for several months. People are really really mad now.

          By the Way….
Vote No on Prop 13 for all you Calif people. (It’s a trick. People think it is saving the original Prop 13 of 1978. It is not and we find it unnervy that they would use the exact number “13” to label this new proposition)
Always vote no on all Bonds anyway., no matter what their sob story is. Most of the money goes into CALPERS. Calif Pols are thieves and liars.

This current Prop. 13 has nothing to do with the 1978 Prop 13. They numbered it that way to fool the voters. Heck, even the text is written in a confusing manner…on purpose.

While this current Prop 13 is not a tax increase, technically, it does pave the way to make it much easier for local districts to pass new taxes. And they will! These local taxes will not be itemized, they will simply be lumped in to the property tax. If this current Prop 13 passes, it will make keeping your home and buying a new home much more expensive. Yes, that does sound like doom & gloom rhetoric. But this is CA. Especially under the super-majority legislature with *THAT* so and so governor, with a incredibly large unfunded pension hanging over their heads – watch out!

Chinese nationals comprised over 60% of buyers of residential real estate in Orange County, CA. I’m fairly sure but not certain that the 2nd half of 2019 was the first time since 2010 that Chinese nationals were less than 50% of all buyers. I am sure that the 4th Quarter 2019 saw less than 50%. I am saying that I don’t know exactly when the 50% mark was realized. The percentage now hovers around +40% of all buyers are Chinese nationals.

Couple that with ~3,000 residential units sold per month (Orange County only) and crunch the numbers. The Inland Empire also has a substantial population of Chinese nationals. LA County, well fuggedaboudit, in that county the Chinese national population is huge.

So I watched the debate tonight with an on-line group streaming the debate. Listened was more like it because I could only see the host and hear the debate. There was a chat and it had a smattering of President Trump supporters but the rest were pretty much all Bernie supporters.

They seemed a very dejected group from the start, the Bernie supporters. Most say he has already lost Florida with his Cuba comments, some were afraid he has lost New York with his anti-Israel stance. All thought he had a very bad night. One seemed ready to switch to Bloomberg, ironically. Many seemed to get angry when any candidate started in on President Trump, which I found odd seeing how they were Bernie Bros.

Interesting, we’ll see where it goes from here.

We’ve seen inklings of public displeasure to be fair starting with Goldwater in 1964, but percolated up in 1992 with Ross Perot. He was so right about so much and we are suffering from the retribution of the swamp ever since. The swamp coalesced to destroy this man and the result, we got Slick Willy in a plurality, I believe 43% of the vote. They got busy protecting their dynasties, but We The People were not cowed just yet in 1994 with The Contract with America, retaking the House. But the real takeaway was NAFTA passed anyway. That giant sucking sound was in place and the displacement of American Manufacturing was underway and sold to the highest bidder, decimating the American middle class. And on and on it goes…

The point I’m getting at is, We The People are displeased with our government and we’ve gotten beyond inklings of displeasure and are forcing change on the swamp. I believe Bernie Sanders ascension in the Democrat Party is further proof of that displeasure.

This is where there is great opportunity for real change for you and I. President Trump is shattering the party silliness and is IMO bringing like minded Americans together for a long overdue correction. Look at the the attendance at his rallies 15 to 30% Democrat. That’s stunning to the swamp.

“we are at a time for choosing” and I believe our Great President Trump is in place by Divine Providence all will coalesce the American people for a swamp draining, no matter what the swamp does or doesn’t do. Alea iacta est (“The die is cast”)

It’s amazing the dirt they keep digging up on Bloomberg, tonight they claimed in the debate that they have tape of him saying that the housing market crash was because of black people and mexicans buying homes, LOL I mean surely to God he didn’t actually say that, but that’s what I thought about the farmer comment too….

Cardiologist: Bernie Sanders Hiding a Key Metric of His Heart Health

Dr. Richard Kovacs, president of the American College of Cardiology, said Sanders has not released metrics on the left ventricular ejection fraction, which measures the blood volume that the heart pushes out with each heartbeat. This indicator tracks the likelihood of future heart events and patients’ mortality rate.

“Normally the heart will push out 60 percent,” he told NBC News. “If you go down to 40 or 50 percent, we regard that as mild impairment of the left ventricle. Thirty to 40 percent would be moderate. If you get to 30 percent, that would be severe.”

Despite Kovacs’ comments, Sanders has refused to provide additional information about his health after releasing what the senator claimed was a “comprehensive” medical records report.

Blockbuster good news from China and the WHO:

“We’re encouraged by the continued decline in cases in China.. …They found that the epidemic peaked and plateaued between the 23rd of January and the 2nd of February, and has been declining steadily since then.

That is good news, and not just for China. With no preparation and relatively primitive public health networks (compared to those of developed nations), the epidemic stabilized in roughly four weeks – probably due to China’s fast and large quarantines. That is good news, because other nations are relying on quarantines to contain the infection.

Also, this suggests that the doomsters’ predictions that the epidemic would prove uncontrollable in China – sweepting through to its four corners – are wrong. China’s 77 thousand cases sounds like a large number, but it is a small fraction of China’s 1.4 billion people. That is true even if the true number infected is twice as large, or even (implausibly) five times as large.”

From Angelo Codevilla (a smart guy):

The deep State is far more worried about a Sander’s win than a Trump win because they know two things:
-Sanders will mobilize the IC into the full service of the socialist state
-Trump & Co. won’t existentially challenge the IC so the DeepState can wait him out.

I don’t agree with Codevilla. He’s misjudged Sanders. Sanders will move entirely at the will of the deep state. He’s also wrong about Trump. Trump WILL challenge the deep state IC. He’s simply finessing his challenge to them more slowly and elegantly.

Consider the advantages of releasing a virus as a means of removing Trump as opposed to an assassination. Assassinations are not only messy and chancy in and of themselves but full of exposure risks in the figure of the assassin, someone who can be investigated. And you are only removing the leader — the administration remains. But the virus is a multiple-threat beast with the sweeping capacity to not only discredit the leader, but his entire administration and party — it sows panic and fear through the deaths of thousands and incites calls for total purging, a house-cleaning as literal representation of figurative cleansing.

I do not suggest a cabal of deep state criminal around a conference table cooked up coronavirus. Rather, that certain random pieces have fallen into place to serve the interests of the deep state and that a kind of opportunistic conspiratorial synergy may have arisen.

I think this is a brilliant idea, Mark Judson! But I have a much easier and quicker way to get to the end result. Why don’t you just kindly ask us deplorables to volunteer to go on strike for 1 week?

That way it would only take a week for you to figure out that 90% of your essential material goods, medicine, transportation, internet service, water, energy, and food needs as well as your garbage and waste removal, are all mostly produced or provided by us. We can figure out how to provide for just ourselves as we already do. Let’s see if you and your elite socialist brethren can?

So I say, go for it, Mr. Judson–please!
