  1. StanH says:

“Billionaires, tech CEOs and top members of the Republican establishment flew to a private island resort off the coast of Georgia this weekend for the American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum, according to sources familiar with the secretive gathering.

The main topic at the closed-to-the-press confab? How to stop Republican front-runner Donald Trump.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he “cannot support Donald Trump.”

Along with Ryan, the House was represented by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.), Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas) and almost-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), sources said, along with leadership figure Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.), Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.), Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas) and Diane Black (Tenn.). ”

“To beat Trump, you need to figure out how to tap into the same anger and yes, in some cases the same perceived narrow-mindedness, of his support base and you need to give them an alternative that addresses their concerns without resorting to the same type of bombastic rhetoric that so alarms the frontrunner’s detractors.
Like it or not, Trump’s support base are voters. They’re also Americans. It’s more important to understand what they want and why than it is to disparage the man they think should lead the country. Until someone in the GOP figures that out, the party won’t stand a chance of stopping Trump.”

The reason I post this is to keep clear that we are fighting the Uniparty. This meeting in 3/16 on Jekyll Island is the reason that the spying was allowed, Mueller was appointed, and the “investigation” by AG Barr is running out the clock. The entire swamp was in on it. When you scratch your head and wonder why a swamp rat would do what they are doing…remember, they were all in on the coup.

Whats changed? Our Great President Trump is winning and his support is growing, therefore the swamp dynamic is changing. I even see the rise of Breadline Bernie is a direct result of President Trumps winning. These carefully crafted Republican – Democrat narratives with swamp candidates are failing with the American people. The long running con has collapsed and the American people want change. Not Barry type change but swamp draining type change. Good stuff.

KAG! …by sticking with our Great President Trump and we will crush them.

  2. Cuba? We have an expert on the subject. Let’s ask him. Barack Hussein Obama. He’s the only president while in office to meet with Fidel, for sleepovers at the military dictator’s palace, no less.

He lied about it, naturally, and said he only met with Raul. But he’s lying. He knows it, the Press Corpse knows it, the (other) Commies know it.

C’mon, Barry; let your freak flag fly! Let’s see the film. You know you want to. Be Proud, My Bolshevik Brutha! Don’t leave Comrade Sanders out there twisting slowly, slowly in the wind.

So, Dem debates tonight. Watched most of the last one just to see them gang up on Mike. Tonight the question is whether they will all take whacks at Bernie, a complete pile on, or whether there will be a couple designated attackers. My guess is Biden and Warren will be the designated attackers on Bernie, and it will be relentless, at least to the extent you can keep Joe’s mind on anything long enough to consider it relentless. He’s always lucky to just remember where he is and why he is there. He forgot yesterday.

And Mike will be there to whack at for sport when they get bored with whacking Bernie. Oh, and not to forget Mike. I expect he’s going to roll out all his oppo research on Bernie that he paid so much for. Why let it go to waste? Bernie’s not gonna know what hit him and will be baited into saying some REALLY stupid stuff. Flushing out a nasty old Stalinist.

I don’t know about the rest of youse, but I am so looking forward to the debate tonight…especially now that Steyer has been invited. Since there will be an odd number on stage for the first time in a while, there will have to be a candidate in the middle and it will have to be Bernie. Sleepy Joe will no longer command the attention of the audience and it should be humiliating to a former VP, but only if that individual was self-aware…which Joe is not – he’ll probably keep grinning as if he were leading the pack, which will make his eventual comeuppance all the more enjoyable, but I digress.

So, my guess is that it’ll be Bernie in the center, flanked by Joe and Pete, then come the, ahem, “ladies”, with the billionaires on either end. In a Democrat primary comprised of some 60 percent “people of color”, this is a “dream” lineup of white folks…let the pandering begin!

This is also the last debate before Super Tuesday, so it is likely that this is the last time we’ll see this stellar group of stupidity on stage together…sniff, let us appreciate them while we can. Joe, we hardly knew ya…meanwhile, two Trump rallies this weekend along with his appearance at CPAC on Saturday – what an embarrassment of riches for us deplorables! KAG y’all!

I have a feeling he will be out after getting beat badly here. He and Warren need to give eventually or Bernie gets the nod. Brokered convention? Maybe. Sad in a way for Joe but his time has come to leave the political stage once and for all.

I was not surprised to see all these peoples names but give you pause when you realize that we are all trying to support the house and senate to keep them where they are.
Shame on the whole lot of them if this is their mission again, Each and Every one of them needs to take stock of what they are doing and asked themselves if Bernie Sanders would be in their minds a better fit.. I garentee you He would not be. and that includes maybe wanting Hilary Clinton She would be really bad for this country and I cant not for the life of me after all that PT has done to make their lives easier how they can do what they do every four years..

I just want every one of those people to know that I cut off money going to the house and senate a while back and have given only to the President but up until a few months ago I was still sending money to make sure that those running and those that was already in the house and senate stayed where they were.. Nate Cain interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBAIff8X79c

This interview is excellent! Mr. Cain was a contractor for the FBI, and got caught up in the mess that that agency has become — by only trying to do the right thing.

I had heard Nate Cain’s name, and knew he was a Whisleblower, but did not really know much more than that. Mr. Cain is very articulate, and tells “his story” from beginning to end with a nice flow so it’s easy to follow and understand.

This story is really not “Q” related, although Q followers did latch onto his story.

What the FBI did to this man is horrible, and a lesson to all of us. He strongly advises everyone to just state, “I have the right to remain silent” when approached by law enforcement.

Thank you for posting, Liberty Forge. An excellent audio interview from Mr. Cain, the whistleblower on the FBI, whose house in Union Bridge, Md. was “raided” by the FBI. They didn’t kick his door down, but instead showed up to “interview” Mr. Cain under the same pretenses as was used on Lt. Gen. Flynn, i.e. posing as ‘friends here to help’. They took his statements, no miranda, and proceeded to use the info against him, seized all his electronics, hid away exculpatory evidence, leaked information to the likes of the Daily Caller, and soon afterward his ‘community’ started treating him as a gun-toting conspiracy nut, even went as far as implying young children were not safe around him.
Think of what the Deepstatists could do to ANY law-abiding citizen.
Nate Cain is a Patriot. We are few and far between in Md.

Yes, it’s lengthy, but both fascinating and inspiring. As an FBI contractor, he stumbled upon massive evidence of coverup relating to U1 and the Clinton Server suppression, and took it to the IG, gaining whistleblower status, and tried to get the information to Nunes, whose committee was itself being targeted by the FBI, so wouldn’t take it from a secret source. The efforts to intimidate him are deeply distressing, and he deserves everyone’s prayers, since he can perhaps be a witness in cases calling the FBI to account. Or else the next Arkancide victim.

Who cares? What counts is how many will vote for him HERE.

And India’s claim for a country with open sewers in major cities that they only have 3 COVID-19 cases when in 2006 they entirely hid the fact that 2000 people died of a disease outbreak is not remotely believable… and yet PDJT walks among hundreds of thousands of them yelling (and coughing).

You can bet a State Department that wants him gone just loves that. Potential Deep State assassination by proxy. They recently overruled the CDC on repatriation of infected US persons on the Diamond (aka Corona) Princess.

And, BTW, the Chinese trade delegation that recently visited the WH did so well after the Chinese knew they had an epidemic on their hands.

The problem is that China is completely corrupt and incompetent. So watching what their government does won’t give you an idea of what is actually going on. Much like the USSR.

Also, their quality of life is so low, their hygiene and sanitary systems so inadequate, their population is much more susceptible to infections like this. This is a nasty bug, but it will spread like wildfire in a country where ordinary people still routinely defacate in the streets.

I am watching what is happening in other countries with great interest. Korea, Japan and Italy for instance.

I’m also watching cities like San Francisco and LA. These cities will be ground zero for a crisis, with their huge homeless populations and the number of travelers they have from mainland China.

So I have a very good friend who is an Immunologist for the NIS. I texted him the other night to get a sense of what he thinks about what is happening in Asian and Europe and how concerned we should be here. Here are his thoughts in bullet point form.
      1. This is a cold, a bad cold but a cold. He thinks for most that get it, it will just be a cold, for others it will be more flu like in symptoms and for about 10% pneumonia. He did reiterate that almost all the deaths to date have been among those with poor or compromised health.
      2. There are two trains of though currently among his peers. The first is that the virus attenuates itself and gets weaker. The second is that we all becoome Sero Positive but with varying degrees of symptoms. He thinks that latter is more likely.
      3. He stresses that a lot of people are going to get sick and that the long term ramifications for our healthcare system and for border security/how we scan for infectious diseases are likely to be a big deal. He says that there are people he know calling this the 9/11 of infectious diseases due to how it could change healthcare and border debates.
      4. S. Korea is probably the best current test case for how things could look here. There is still a lot they don’t know so he and his peers are watching and hoping to get good data from how things progress there.

Personally I think the biggest issues we are going to face are not mass deaths but rather a huge impact on the economy and possibly disruptions in supply chains that mean shortages of things like food etc on shelves. These are my own opinions and I have no data to back this up. Hope that helps.

I think governments figured out if you don’t test for it you have plausible deniability that you don’t have an outbreak.

However, it also appears that testing methods appear to be unable to provide accurate results.

I think as of last night there had only been 415 even tested in the United States, with possibly thousands being in ‘voluntary’ quarantine across the country. This voluntary quarantine seems to simply be you call or text your temperature daily to your state health department.

I think governments are more concerned with panic than the pandemic at hand.

What I griped about in that thread was that guy reporting from the airport was preempted by a Special Report about Trump laying a freaking wreath in India! Exactly. Far too many people incorrectly interpret high stock market levels as a sign of a fundamentally great economy when it isn’t, it’s just pumped with massive DEBT, and since PDJT is always pointing to it as a sign of the success of his policies… Also, a crashing market has a physiological effect on those same people who might reduce their significantly debt-based consumption if they think bad times are ahead and that further negatively affects the ongoing Mother of All Debt Bubbles.

I dunno but around here in suburban SE Pennsylvania there’s a surprising amount of for rent for sale signs on commercial/residential property as well as considerable development on vacant and abandoned property. Don’t know quite what to figure. I think the high number of rent signs has more to do with asking prices too high compared to low prices of developable property.

I’m hoping that is also responsible for the high mortality rate currently being calculated. People getting mild cases that present as flu or cold are not being tested.

The ones that are seriously ill are tested and are more likely to be counted.

I sure hope that is the case, because the current figures show a mortality rate of 40 to 60 times that of the flu. And in the entire world, it looks like only PDJT took it seriously and was proactive.

Airport screening is a JOKE. Asymptomatic spread is confirmed, an incubation period of up to 27 days (not 14) is suspected, and people are likely lying about their travel when questioned to avoid a 14 day quarantine period. Recovered patients have been found to have large viral loads, but it is not known if they remain contagious.

Yes, between our open borders and airline travel, the best we can do is reduce the number of infected, not eliminate them.

    • It just continues to baffle me how widely and how easily “the Russia myth” flies in American politics. Anytime America wants a booger-man, they always go to one place, because, and even though the USSR no longer exists and Russia is not a Communist country, “just drop the ‘R’ word” and you will be instantly believed. Or, so they think.

There are about 200 recognized nations on this planet. Today, the citizens of most of these countries use the Internet and know about Social Media. For all but one of those countries we have no problem with this. But, for “the ‘R’,” we do.

Much more alarming to me, however, is the thought of an election that will be run by electronic voting machines that cannot be audited. With that, you can stuff ballot boxes throughout the country … no Russians required. Hillary can now run again, this time certain of her victory, no matter what the actual voters actually do, and no one can prove that fraud occurred.

President Trump runs around settings fires. “Now that Blago is out of prison, he is free to talk about the crimes Obama committed in Illinois, how Muller covered them up, and how it all relates to Comey’s seditious acts that followed.”

So why set the fires. Because he is looking for the people behind Obama and Mueller.

Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy on Tuesday urged top intelligence officials to stop delivering sensitive briefings to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff because he is “a leaker.”

“No one is above the law, apparently except whoever leaks classified information out of Adam Schiff’s committee,” Gowdy said on “Hannity,” reacting to the recent intelligence briefing on Russia’s alleged 2020 election interference efforts to help President Trump.

“What the intelligence committee needs to give some thought to is [to] stop briefing someone who has a history and is an epidemic leaker.”

    “Quit briefing him,” Gowdy said.

    • Really? Then I want to now see Senator Sanders craft a bill to that effect and take it immediately to the Senate floor. He has the authority to do that now. He would have no such authority from the Oval Office.

I will inquire later why providing coverage for 320 million people, most of whom will not require health care at any particular time, is going to cost that much money per case. Sure does seem to be a lot of gravy in that gravy train!

“Upshot: empty air. Vacuous talk. Just playing the public opinion poll game.” An utter and complete waste of time. Shouldn’t someone remind these people that they will be competing against a President who tells the truth and gets sh*t done?

So debates main topic will be bashing Trump on his handling of coronavirus. They will say he fired enyire pandemic response team, cut funding to CDC, and is not taking it seriously and point out recent bungling in CDC test kits, flying contaminated people here, lack of clear plan, etc. I can partially counter with his coronavirus team created Jan 28th and funding was cut related to ebola in other countries. But be prepared.

Problem is Trump is saying a vaccine is few months away while experts in govt are publicly undermining this by saying 12 to 18 months. He keeps saying April it will fix itself due to warmer weather yet it is spreading in warmer regions. I am a huge Trump supporter but optics are currently poor given CDC cuts, purportedly firing most of pandemic response team a year or so ago. I appreciate he is trying to not cause panic and reassure while an orderly process and preparation can be done, but people need to see that he is more concerned about keeping us safe and not the economy or reelection. Also note debates in a DEM echo chamber are all ONE SIDED. Glad he is asking for the 2.5 billion given tests are $3000 at the moment. Glad he was concerned about coronavirus but CDC still has not supplied adequate reliable testing kits and fewer than 8 percent have been tested. I need more ammo on twitter to defend what he is actually doing in response and he needs to show a plan to ease the markets. I do not want this to hinder elections due to economics or how he handles this emergency and it does have that risk at the moment. We need at least another 4 years.

          Reluctantly, I agree.
          Because,…
I just had a 2 hr conversation with my cousin.
He is not naive, worked in Saudi and ME contracting for many years. He was just saying how frustrated he was with PT for saying this will go away in spring and he even mentioned PTs promise of a vaccine shortly. He was upset because he thinks it is really not correct and worried bad info, bad optics, etc.
So, I do hope PT has information supporting his claims, only because I do not want it used against him. I know PT is doing what he can with what he knows. Is he being misled? Who knows. But, I sure hope PT is on top of this.

Someone should “slap Bernie Sanders, ALL the Democrats & the “Socialist-Twit” Justin Trudeau up in my Canada, upside the head” with a copy of this article & MAYBE just maybe, the World could be a better place without the Greta Thunberg worshipping idiots out there!

And, up in Canada, about 20 yrs. ago, a friend Jack Van Hoeve sold propane at his garage & had a Chevy plow truck that he had done a propane-conversion on & I would plow snow for him with it & it worked like a truck should & he had lots of business at his propane station, fuelling up all the cabs & commercial vehicles at the time.

BUT, the propane conversions were replaced by “more PC fuels” & now MAYBE the Automotive Manufacturers should take another look at Natural Gas powered engines, instead of trying to force Electric Vehicles (that no-one wants, except the “brain-washed virtue-signalling” Left, on us!

COMPRESSED flammable propane gas as a fuel is less dangerous than gasoline or more dangerous in a crash? At least diesel fuel is not explosive like gasoline. I own a 1990 VW Cabriolet (gasoline) and a 2004 Ford E350 (diesel) and I’m happy with both. I can see a market for electric vehicles for in town use ONLY. Government should not subsidize electric vehicles.

The Canadian Gov’t set the Standards for the Propane Conversions at the time & Jack’s Chevy plow truck had the propane tank under the box, between the frame & the outside sheet metal of the box. IF someone “t-boned” the box in an accident, the propane tank was designed strong enough to not leak, but if it did I suppose that there could be an explosion or a “jet of fire” coming from the puncture.

I honestly can’t remember any “spectacular” accidents, other than Tanker-Truck accidents!

One thing to keep in mind about propane conversions, is that although propane is a cleaner-burning fuel than gasoline, it is down on BTU’s so there will be a slight power loss compared to gasoline. Propane conversions can’t be done on compression-ignition engines like diesels, BUT you can use propane as a power-adder on a diesel!

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Hong Kong has further extended the suspension of schools until at least April 20 to contain the spread of the coronavirus, authorities in the Asian financial hub said on Tuesday as cases of the disease surged outside China.

The city’s Secretary for Education Kevin Yeung said classes would be suspended until after the Easter holiday with April 20 being the earliest date to return. Students had previously been due to return to lessons on March 16.

I don’t know if anyone here ever goes slumming at hot air but jazz wrote a little doozy over their claiming Trump was ignoring the coronovirus.
I tried to respond but it won’t let me. It’s very frustrating. No one there seems to know about Trump’s team of experts. You know, the one CNN complained wasn’t diverse enough? They don’t seem to know he declared a health emergency or set quarentines. And they don’t seem to know he is putting pressure on companies to produce a vaccine. They are suggesting he is hands off when a fun article states exactly the opposite.

Someone needs to set them straight since hot air is clearly fake news. So if anyone who posts or lurks here cares to do it that would be great. Of course if you don’t bother with that site I completely understand. I’m just frustrated I can’t do it myself.

And since when is “evidence” a requirement for printing something in the NYT? It isn’t even on their “nice to have” list.

“Without evidence …” is a stylebook cliche, and a red flag that whatever the President has just said (they never use it for anyone else) is dead accurate 100% true.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon, UAE, and Canada have -ALL- traced one of their cases to Iran according to Steve Bannon’s daily YouTube blog today. Iran must be massively infected. A reported 16 dead in Iran, 50 according to a leak, would mean a minimum of 800 (using the 16 dead figure) or 2500 infected (using the 50 dead figure) and not the mere 95 confirmed cases.

And here’s a thought – what if that unusually wide Iran-sourced spread is intentional? Bioterrorism using a virus accidentally leaked from a Chinese lab (which does NOT, by the way, have bioweapon markers according to experts, so stop with that stupidity).
