DNI Briefer Shelby Pierson “Overstated” (Manufactured) Intel on Russia Election Interference…

Sending shockwaves through the intelligence community, it was reported yesterday that newly appointed Acting DNI Richard “Ric” Grenell asked the intelligence community, specifically including Shelby Pierson, to produce the underlying intelligence within the briefing she gave to the House Intelligence Committee.

Well, what do you know…. All of a sudden today, anonymous intelligence officials are reporting to CNN that Ms. Pierson “overstepped” her position, was “misleading” in her briefing, and “mischaracterized” the underlying intelligence.   Imagine that.

Washington (CNN)-The US intelligence community’s top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community’s formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN.

The official, Shelby Pierson, told lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump get reelected.

[…] “The intelligence doesn’t say that,” one senior national security official told CNN. “A more reasonable interpretation of the intelligence is not that they have a preference, it’s a step short of that.

[…] One intelligence official said that Pierson’s characterization of the intelligence was “misleading” and a national security official said Pierson failed to provide the “nuance” needed to accurately convey the US intelligence conclusions.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where Pierson is a senior official, did not respond to CNN’s request for comment. (more)

Why would Shelby Pierson and Joseph Maguire intentionally blindside the White House?

The briefing was obviously spun by HPSCI Chairman Adam Schiff and democrats on the House intel committee; and there was no intelligence presented during the briefing to support the claims made by Pierson, Democrats and media.

If it seems like CNN just stumbled into the journalism thing, don’t react too quickly.  The underlying motive for CNN to narrate truthfully on this example is simply to get Ms. Pierson fired (which she should be).  If Pierson is fired, CNN will most likely jump back on the bandwagon of President Trump helping Russia again.

…”these are sick people we’re talking about.  Really sick people.”…

You got that right. In Viet Nam, my team was assigned to obtain a high value target from an enemy camp. A Colonel in the NVA and bring him forthwith, alive if possible, for war crimes against American Soldiers. Wasn’t easy but we did. One man assigned to our team was killed and 2 were wounded, including myself. We were able to get him back alive. He was turned over to the CIA interrogators. Six months later that same enemy soldiers was assigned as a scout/interpreter to a brother team. He lead that team on 2 incursions into Cambodia. On the 3rd trip he disappeared into the jungle and, later determined to have rejoined his old NVA command. Don’t know what the spooks did with him during the time they had him but I know that a good man was killed capturing him and many more killed due to his planning later attacks again American troops. While working with the American LURP teams he learned the tricks we used, he learned the interior layout of the FOBs and the armament those bases contained. Thanks CIA for your help with this man initially wanted for war crimes.

          Does creating trouble = make-work?

It often does. This happens in all walks of life.

What is make-work? It’s like those who set a fire, then pull the fire alarm, hoping no one notices that they profited from their actions. If you are really lucky and others are complicit in it or supporting of it, you might be commended for the response. Or, if discovered, you might be prosecuted for it. But if your government agency is corrupt enough, there is strength in numbers. Nothing happened here. Move on. Nothing to see here. We’ll take care of this.

Some who are in power in America create problems. Then some others get to clean up the mess they made. Both profit handsomely from it. Except for those who were taxed to pay for the cleanup.

Well, one general, Roosevelt (son of Teddy) landed with his troops at Normandy. A different general (whose name I can’t remember at the moment) went ashore at Utah beach after it was a disorganized shambles and organized the troops for the final breakthrough. Neither died, however although both were in extreme danger. No handy shields or bunkers at that point.

These are two different things – having higher intelligence is one thing and being “a yes man/woman” is another. The desire to have control over other people is a different question. Let’s sort this out.

Was Hitler. Stalin, Mao or any other charismatic dictator intelligent? Probably, yes – or at least of a higher IQ than most of his or her followers or subjects. (Evita Peron was a woman – so is Hillary and many others who crave power. Gender is irrelevant.) Most conservatives today label those with whom they disagree as being “crazy”. Bernie is “crazy”. AOC is “”crazy”. Are they really “crazy”?

No. They have charismatic personalities and they know how to be master manipulators. Crazy like a fox? All successful politicians do that. Salesman do it too. All have built their careers upon being “a yes man/woman” for their entire lives. They answer to and serve the wishes of those above them.

“In order to become the master, the politician poses as the servant.” (Charles de Gaulle)

Trump is brilliant, he has charisma, and he certainly knows how to play a crowd, too. So what’s the difference?

Intent. Moral purpose. Virtue of character. Such things that money can’t buy.

Trump is satisfied with the money he has, and what it can buy. He has intangible qualities that money can’t buy. He can’t be bought with more money. Others can never be satisfied. They are easily bought, and/or they will buy others. They will forever be insatiable.

And from the CNN link Sundance provided in the Robert O’Brien blurb about this:

Career intelligence professionals worry that Shelby Pierson, the person in charge of evaluating intelligence regarding election security with the ODNI, will be moved out of her position, according to a former top intelligence official.

Pierson is highly regarded and viewed as not partisan by intelligence community colleagues who know her to be confident and well versed in the work she does. She isn’t afraid of making tough calls and fiercely defending her analysis when challenged, colleagues say.

Pierson has done briefings for senior leaders for years and her experience and preparation shows, said one former intelligence official who worked with her.

During the recent House briefing, she faced a series of questions from lawmakers who were trying to pin her down on whether the intelligence showed a Russian preference for Trump, and she finally relented to provide her view of what the intelligence showed, one source familiar with the matter said. It’s the type of situation intelligence briefers are prepped to avoid, the source said, in part so as not to wade into partisan controversy.

The answer she gave has been misconstrued because it’s missing the context and nuance, the source said.

Pierson is still on the job, according to sources with knowledge of her status. She did not reply to a request for comment.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and Mark Warner have all signed a letter demanding the FBI and DOJ defy the declassification orders of the U.S. President. They are demanding this in order to hide their own criminality, of course. It’s a desperate move for deep state Democrats to prevent the truth from coming out about their complicity in the illegal spying on Trump campaign officials throughout 2016, 2017 and even 2018.

Still, nobody cans say this term was a failure, but he sure did take alot of maybe avoidable hits if going in day 1 he had a real insider he trusted with his life. He didn’t.

On the other hand, JFK had almost 10 years in the Senate. He whacked the top 3 at the CIA 11 months in. I’ll leave it at that.

Way to go! Just like the swamp did not expect our VSGPDJT to release the full transcript of the Ukraine telephone call.

    “Sunlight is the best disinfectant”.

CIA whistleblower Kevin Shipp said the swamp hides their illegal and unconstitutional behavior behind “classification” and “non-disclosure agreements”.

    Ephesians 5:11-16 KJV

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. [12] For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

[13] But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

[14] Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. [15] See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Can anyone here tell me in the last 88 years, from 1932 until now, how many years have the Republicans controlled the House, Senate and the White House all at the same time? Draining the swamp after what I would assume to be around 75% of at least 2 out of 3 branches were controlled by the DemocRATS, will take longer than 4-8 years to even put a dent into all of the patronage in DC.

The last time they did have that opportunity, they revealed themselves to be what they are – “Democrat Lite”, namely the RINO party.

This is why we are Conservatives, not Republicans. The establishment Grand Old Party, the “big tent” Republican party betrayed those who they hoodwinked, and they can go to hell, as far as I’m concerned.

Go Bernie, bring it on, baby! Wear your flag of socialism proudly! No more of being in the closet, no more pretense needed. No more murkiness of Dracula’s crypt. It’s time to clean out the dirty alphabet soup spy agencies of “foggy bottom” too. Open the curtains and let sunlight in! (Was that James Comey literally standing behind the curtains?)

Let’s finally get things out in the open. This is Socialism/Communism vs. Americanism/Capitalism.

Ok the NYT leak down. The WaPo one about Bernie to follow: Can’t Barr iniate a leak investigation? Polygraph every one of those involved in Bernie’s ‘Counter-Intel’ briefing from Wray, Buente, on down to the flunkies who briefed Bernie directly. What’s more intolerable, that they did something like this or the brazen (plodding?) repetitiveness of it all? Of course it would directly implicate the FBI in doing the DNC’s bidding (STILL). Rhetorical question answered.
