Well I suppose a ‘god ag’would smite the miscreants, of hit them with lightning or something,…old testament get BIBLICAL on em! LOL.

BUT, Barr apperently only concerns himself with “those things that are brought to his attention” according to his recent interview, which explains a LOT.
So, we do NOT have a GOOD AG, which I assume is what you meant. We have a somnabulent, sleepwalker, a ‘cleaner’ rather than a housecleaner, who is allowing the cabal at the top, to continue to cover up earlier activity, AND commit new atrosities.

My support of PDJT is unwavering.
My sceptisism that BARR will do anything, or Durham, is equally unwavering.

As long as,Republicons in the Senate, by actions and inaction, support the ongoing coup and coverup, there will be no accountabily
They are going to force PDJT to fire Barr, and personally take over operation of the DOJ,…and then impeach him for it.

But, will be glad to see a gradual reduction in the “just, wait till Durham,…?” comments.

My faith in PDJT is stronger than ever, so is my faith that Barr/Durham are,CLEANERS, rather than housecleaners.

They are now starting their 3 rd sequel, of the impeachment fiasco saga.
Theres,a reason there is no “Jurassic Park #123”, or “Men in Black #168”.

The very thought that the AG only acts on issues brought to his attention puts him the class being as bad as AG Sessions. One of the Primary duties of the AG is oversight and if the interpretation of the interview is as you commented, then AG Barr fails miserably.

Besides being duped into recusal, that recusal did not excuse AG Sessions from his oversight responsibilities. Failing to execute that duty was, in my mind, his greatest betrayal.

    Thursday night update – 2/13/20

    – Photo of Brian Kolfage shaking hands with Juárez Mexican sector immigration chief at border wall.
    – Misc. related tweets.

    – Jeff Rainforth video at Project 1. Jeff says he might be at Project 2 in a week or so to film.

    – – – – –
***Praise: 🧱 (Project 1: May/June 2019)… WBTW/Fisher Industries was able to build a half mile wall up the side of a mountain in 11 days (with zero safety incidents), cutting off 19 major drug cartel trails, and closing off one of the worst areas along the border… (Began building over Memorial Day weekend in Sunland Park, NM., just across the Rio Grande from El Paso, TX.)
***Praise: 👍 (11/20/19)… DHS Secretary Chad Wolf & CBP Chief gave a huge endorsement to WeBuildTheWall while visiting Project 1. CBP Chief called it a “Game Changer”. It’s the only time CBP or DHS have ever endorsed a wall builder.
***Praise: 🧱 (12/2/19)… Fisher Sand & Gravel was awarded a $400M border wall contract to build 31 miles of wall in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge in Yuma County, Arizona.
(Fisher receives $268M of this $400M project)(Estimated contract completion date is Dec 30, 2020.) (2 days of posts here & here.)

***Praise: (12/4/19)… Brian Kolfage & his family were given the opportunity to visit the White House.
***Praise: While the Temporary Restraining Order(s) were in place, Fisher Industries and crews were still able to keep working on some aspects of Project 2 from the Dec. 5th hearing to Dec 12th (after which they were off for the holidays).
***Praise: (Jan 3)… Judge Crane lifted/removed section 8b from the TRO so that Fisher was able to continue to shave, grade, or cut the riverbank.
***Praise: (Jan 9)… Judge Crane lifted/removed the TROs from both the Federal government’s lawsuit (on behalf of the IBWC) and the North American Butterfly Association’s lawsuit (on behalf of Marianna Trevino-Wright’s National Butterfly Center) against Fisher Sand and Gravel Co.
***Praise: 🧱 Fisher was able to begin installing bollards on Sunday (Jan 12) and work is progressing well. Looks like the wall itself is nearly completed as of Sunday (Jan 26). (They’ll probably start building the concrete service road next. Not sure what stage of completion the lighting and cameras are at.)

***Praise: Fisher has taken the lead on Project 2, covering most of the money for the wall($22M bank loan; total cost is ~$42M). (Haven’t heard any more about other investors with the exception of WBTW as a minor investor. Fisher plans to sell Project 2 back to the government for $14M per mile, or $16.5 million with 10 years of complete upkeep included.)
***Praise: 🔍 (Reported on 12/18/19)… Senator Kevin Cramer was able to complete his in-depth review of the USACE’s procurement process and send a letter with his findings and recommendations to President Trump on 12/6/19.
***Praise:🇺🇸 (12/22/19)… Brian Kolfage was awarded Patriot of the Year award by Turning Point USA at their Student Action Summit for his work with WBTW in helping to securing our border.
***Praise: (Reported on 1/22-23/20)… WBTW gained a major construction equipment company as a corporate sponsor & are looking for more. (See prayer below for specifics.)
***Praise: (Jan 22)… Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona, moved out of the Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

🙏 Prayer for the work crews. 🙏
Heavenly Father, we pray in Jesus’ name:
    – for safety and good weather for the work crews as they work on Project 2; that they would be able to continue uninterrupted (w/ no new TROs) until completion.
    – for WBTW & Fisher Sand & Gravel Co. regarding the ongoing lawsuits; that the lawsuits would be dismissed.
(Feb 5)… Judge Randy Crane granted a 60-day extension to all parties. The three sides will reconvene on April 8.
    – that WBTW would be able to find corporate sponsors for Project 3. (They already have a major construction equipment manufacturer and are looking for a solar LED security lighting manufacturer or supplier next who wants to be involved.)

    – that the DoD IG’s office audit of the $400 million border wall contract which the USACE awarded Fisher Sand & Gravel would show everything is fair and above board; that the swamp in DoD and USACE wouldn’t be able to corrupt the process; & that Fisher would be authorized to proceed with the project as planned.

    – that Rep. Warren Petersen’s (R-AZ) bill,HB 2084, making it easier to build border wall on private property in Arizona would get passed.
(Jan 22)… Bill passed out of Federal Relations committee with 4-3 vote in favor.
(Jan 30)… The bill failed on the house floor as one Republican sided with the Democrats.
(Feb 6)… The bill passed AZ house on reconsideration with 31-29 party line vote. Next, it goes to the Senate.

    – for the bi-national summit with the Mexican IBWC and American politicians that WBTW will be hosting; for open lines of communication/understanding; and that WBTW/Fisher Industries would learn what they need to know to facilitate the sign off and approval of their projects by the Mexican IBWC.

    – for 100% safety/health/guidance/direction for the work crews, security personnel, legal team, CBP, DHS, Army and all involved in Project’s 2, 3, 4, and other projects; and for WBTW/Fisher Industries as they work with private landowners to secure more property to build on
    – that work would go smoothly with continual, innovative improvements in method/process/efficiency and quality of construction; and with transitioning as they scale up capacity(manpower, equipment, etc.) to build larger projects
    – that there would be no outside interference (cartels, IBWC, courts/judges, protesters, swamp, etc.) and that if outside interference takes place that it would only work toward WBTW/Fisher Industries/USA’s benefit (exposing corruption, raising awareness, fundraising, etc.)

    – that Project 2’s wall will prove that WBTW/Fisher Industries can rapidly complete large sections of wall, with a superior build, at the lowest price
    – that this wall would prove that the design is sound and they are able to safely and effectively build it on a large scale in the Rio Grande Valley (Project 2’s “water wall” design is the first border wall that’s ever been built inside the flood plain)
    – that the federal government would provide funding for WBTW/Fisher Industries to build 250+ miles of wall on Private Property in Texas

    – that the Government would purchase all of WBTW/Fisher Industries projects so the funds can be rolled into future projects and Fisher Industries will be able to scale up with additional equipment and manpower as needed.
(This, in addition to ongoing fundraising from public/investors, will allow WBTW/Fisher Industries to continue to self fund projects, build their reputation/resume, while they continue to pursue other avenues which could lead to government contracts down the road.)

It is actually worse than the hiring demand. Banks will be given a Federal Government diversity level rating. This is exactly what Obama did this in 2014, he had AG Holder prepare legal memo’s and guidelines that promised lost Federal Funds and DoJ supported discrimination law suits for cities and school districts that were statistically deficient in diversity levels, irregardless of actions to diversity (free stuff had to be given away to raise diversity scores to the “right” level”).

Cities, small municipalities and school districts literally had to run add campaigns and free stuff giveaways to reach undefined diversity scores under Obama. Then there was the NO Blacks shall be punished and no student shall be turned over to the law in the schools. All these are still in place, no matter if DoJ guidelines are gone or not, as insurance policies for life after President Trump.

Chinese Telecommunications Conglomerate Huawei and Subsidiaries Charged in Racketeering Conspiracy and Conspiracy to Steal Trade Secrets

Charges also Reveal Huawei’s Business in North Korea and Assistance to the Government of Iran in Performing Domestic Surveillance

    Excerpt:

‘ A superseding indictment was returned yesterday in federal court in Brooklyn, New York, charging Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. (Huawei), the world’s largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer, and two U.S. subsidiaries with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Brian A. Benczkowski, Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division; John C. Demers, Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s National Security Division; Richard P. Donoghue, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York and Christopher A. Wray, Director, FBI, announced the charges.

The 16-count superseding indictment also adds a charge of conspiracy to steal trade secrets stemming from the China-based company’s alleged long-running practice of using fraud and deception to misappropriate sophisticated technology from U.S. counterparts.

The indicted defendants include Huawei and four official and unofficial subsidiaries — Huawei Device Co. Ltd. (Huawei Device), Huawei Device USA Inc. (Huawei USA), Futurewei Technologies Inc. (Futurewei) and Skycom Tech Co. Ltd. (Skycom) — as well as Huawei’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Wanzhou Meng (Meng). The new superseding indictment also contains the charges from the prior superseding indictment, which was unsealed in January 2019.

As revealed by the government’s independent investigation and review of court filings, the new charges in this case relate to the alleged decades-long efforts by Huawei, and several of its subsidiaries, both in the U.S. and in the People’s Republic of China, to misappropriate intellectual property, including from six U.S. technology companies, in an effort to grow and operate Huawei’s business. The misappropriated intellectual property included trade secret information and copyrighted works, such as source code and user manuals for internet routers, antenna technology and robot testing technology. Huawei, Huawei USA and Futurewei agreed to reinvest the proceeds of this alleged racketeering activity in Huawei’s worldwide business, including in the United States.

The means and methods of the alleged misappropriation included entering into confidentiality agreements with the owners of the intellectual property and then violating the terms of the agreements by misappropriating the intellectual property for the defendants’ own commercial use, recruiting employees of other companies and directing them to misappropriate their former employers’ intellectual property, and using proxies such as professors working at research institutions to obtain and provide the technology to the defendants. As part of the scheme, Huawei allegedly launched a policy instituting a bonus program to reward employees who obtained confidential information from competitors. The policy made clear that employees who provided valuable information were to be financially rewarded.’

‘ Financing 5G Rollout in the Face of Nation State Security Threats and Non-Market Subsidies: Policy Options for States to Address Cost Concerns’

    Abstract
The debate about non-market authoritarian telecom manufacturing firms subsidization and security risk continues to rage but there has been almost no talk about the benefits they provide and how to counter them by open liberal democracies. In this paper, provide a simple financial model of the range of cost differences between market and non-market telecom manufacturers. I then provide different policy options for states of how best to address these concerns. Pleas to national security and alliances will only go so far given the large subsidized cost differentials between market and non-market providers. There are numerous reasonable policy options that will narrow the cost differentials such as moving from cash spectrum auction to royalty, funding risk mitigation with tax on high risk gear, and multilateral lending currently disallowed by the OECD to fund critical infrastructure. For too long, acts of political violence against conservatives have gone unpunished. For instance, the ICE facility in Oregon put under siege and the employees terrorized; nothing was done by the FEDs with the DOJ being run by Rosy the Rat. Rand Paul almost killed by his neighbor who got a slap on the wrist while Paul had life long disabilities from the injuries. Of course, during Obama, they encouraged political violence but there is no excuse for it now except the same criminals from Obama and Clinton still operate in the DOJ and FBI.

Now, attacks are happening to people who are just trying to exercise their constitutional rights of free speech and assembly. For instance, the lefty who ran his van through a voter registration tent in FL and then, the lefty who physically attacked a child and two adults during the voting in NH. The NH guy is already out on bail after breaking a man’s jaw who tried to get him off the child; the child is traumatized by a crazed adult physically assaulting him.

These types of offenses should be more than local issues, there should be FED consequences because they violate the civil rights of these people, and despite what the lefties believe, those civil rights laws are on the books and are not color coded.

If there are not major consequences, these crazed lefties will escalate. If the FBI arrested that clown in NH and he found himself in a FED lockup, that would send a message. These lefties do not fear local law. And why should they? They also don’t fear the DOJ because they’ve been aided and abetted with every act of violence. The clown girl that assaulted Congressman Gaetz after his town hall got a slap on the wrist locally and probably wears it as street cred. If the guy in CA that split someone’s skull with the bike lock had found himself in FED lockup rather than getting community service, perhaps his buddies would think twice before causing violence. .A year in the FED lockup would have been more appropriate and a deterrent, IMHO.

The people who disrupt and cause violence at President Trump’s events suffer no consequences but succeed in terrorizing people trying to attend; when he was just the candidate, that’s one thing but he’s now the PRESIDENT and such actions should be stomped on immediately. These acts of violence are a violation of civil rights laws and these laws should be used to arrest these violent people and prosecute them at the FED level before people have to ruin their lives by defending themselves, e.g. in FL, what if one of the people at the voter registration tent had a CCW? They would have been justified in blasting the guy driving the van because they were being assaulted with a deadly weapon. Yet, the perp would have been glorified and the person defending their life and those around them would have been demonized. FED law enforcement needs to step up and put an end to it. JMHO

As you know I have been commenting from South China. The great Loo roll scandal continues as villagers still believe the WhatsAp post that told them wiping their bums maybe a thing of the past.

This morning, the markets were still empty of Loo rolls, tissues and the two markets are scrambling to chuck pallets in. Bleach has disappeared from stock as have other stuff like disinfectant wipes and rubbing alcohol. At least it means people understand hygiene. The gov. sent in disinfectant trucks to spray on the only roads here. They can’t do much, as most villagers bike into town from paths, no access for trucks. Lol. You can tell the locals from visitors as the former eschew masks and the latter wear them like the plague has hit.

Interesting to me, you can’t buy garlic, which most Chinese people know is an anti-bacterial, just doesn’t have any effect on viruses. I expect Chicken from the US to be abundant as the shipments to China from the US have exceeded the capacity in Chinese ports to refrigerate the bulk. Ships were diverted to other Asian states and Hong Kong to save the product. So I expect a boon for chicken lovers. It’s what’s for dinner.

I’ll stop here and address the other bits and bobs in another post.

Does Kelly care about our tax dollars used for money laundering? Most of all, did Kelly read the damn transcript?! The blurb about Biden was an add-on, his main question was the server and the ’16 election! Does he not believe the Ukraine president’s words of no quid pro quo?

    • Hello AA
This is a esoteric question but do you have any local insight on the following report:
      “Updated on: February 13, 2020 / 9:45 AM / CBS NEWS
Doctors in China have adopted a new way of diagnosing the novel coronavirus, leading to a huge jump in both the official number of deaths blamed on the disease and the tally of confirmed cases in the country at the heart of the outbreak. Officials in Hubei province, the Chinese region where the virus is believed to have jumped into the human population from wild animals, reported 254 new deaths and 15,152 new cases of the flu-like virus.
The increase brought the worldwide death toll to at least 1,369 and the number of confirmed cases to more than 60,000. Only about 400 of those patients, and just two of the confirmed fatalities, have been outside of mainland China.
The sharp increase came after two days of reported declines in the number of confirmed new cases in China. It was the result of Chinese doctors in Hubei province starting to use lung imaging to diagnose the disease, in addition to the standard nucleic acid tests they had been using.”
That just seems strange to use a nonspecific test to confirm a more specific test.Looks to me like it could confirm false positives as actual cases. Or is it a”good enough for government work” considering the extent of the outbreak.

If I might, from my reading I understand the nucleic acid tests can produce false negatives. The samples are taken from the oral/fecal routes yet even here in the US have been negative when soon after positive.Too, there has been problems with the reagents themselves even in the USA such that CA was instructed to stop performing the nucleic acid tests and instead revert back to all tests being sent to Atlanta CDC.

In China, where nucleic acid medical testing is harder to come by due to limited supply, when presented w a patient with symptoms, a standard chest X-ray may reveal a pneumonia c/w this flu-like virus and is much easier to be had for the patient and the medical workers. If positive findings on chest X-ray is present along w cough etc, it offers a potential diagnosis and plan.

Secondly, your assertion that the AG Barr, is only ‘protecting’ the institution is not borne out by the evidence. “The United Kingdom has become the first Western nation to move ahead with large-scale censorship of the internet, effectively creating regulation that will limit freedom on the last frontier of digital liberty. In a move that has the nation reeling, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has unveiled rules that will punish internet companies with fines, and even imprisonment, if they fail to protect users from “harmful and illegal content.”

“The new guardian of the internet will be the Office of Communications (known as Ofcom), a government-approved body. Ofcom has a new boss in place to go along with the new powers: Dame Melanie Dawes. Mueller SC was the kill shot as long as it was in operation. Bill Barr snuffed it out by asking Mueller and friends hard questions that they weren’t able to answer. They were only willing to stand behind what the Mueller report said – if even that as shown by testimony.

The reason Mueller wrapped up was because the Democrats took the House. And he wrapped up on Nancy’s schedule too. Her impeachment schedule. The one Sundance showed us in her start of the term rule changes designed to empower Democrats and shut out Republicans.

The reason Mueller flopped is because there was NO evidence. Mueller even exonerated the President from colluding with Russia.

Barr’s role was to stop their cutesy games of trying to make it look like obstruction without actually having any evidence of obstruction. And Barr got Rosenstein and the OLC to say NO obstruction.

So yes, Barr helped thwart Nancy’s Mueller based Impeachment schemes. Not that it actually stopped her.

But there are a lot of things all the trusty plan people have to ignore. Lots of guilty people walking free. Even those the IG referred for prosecution. Lots of documents Congress asked the President to release that are still being kept secret by Barr. Barr’s explicit statements to Congress that the FBI had taken too much blame, and his continuing support of Wray. And a whole lot more.

The real answers sit between the two extremes that we constantly fight about. Faith the truth will be revealed and that the criminals will face justice on one hand. Fear the coverup will work and the crimes will continue to do the country damage on the other hand.

So far, the coverup is working to keep the criminals free. And they continue to hurt the country with their crimes. But, more and more, the truth is being revealed.

But there is real danger that the truth won’t be used to bring people to justice. There is no pressure from the press to do so. Indeed, the press is part of the coverup.

And so far, the naysayers have a very good track record. Time and again, those we have blindly put our faith in have really been part of the problem, not the solution.

But that doesn’t prove that Barr is just another Sessions, Rosenstein, Huber, Mueller, etc. Indeed expanding the list to all of the disappointments in Congress, in Fox, in Trump’s appointees, the odds aren’t very good. But there are still great Patriots and fighters in that list too.

The jury on Barr is still out. But the evidence we have seen to date is more troubling than promising. But there is some promise.

If I had to predict, I would use Barr’s statements as a guide, and predict that Durham will root out the truth behind the IC’s involvement, but that he will go easy on the FBI and DOJ. Nothing since has contradicted those statements. A lot has hinted at confirmation.

And I think the lawyer that altered evidence is going to jail. A few of the coup will join him. And the Deep State will not be harmed. And the Swamp will recover from the draining.

Seriously, go back over all the promising good we have gleaned from Barr and Durham and look at it from the perspective Barr gave the Senators in his famous testimony where he said there was spying, spying is okay if properly predicated, the FBI has taken too much blame, the IC needs to be investigated, etc. I’d swear he was laying out exactly the path he was going to take.

Leftists support the Party. The one-Party State is the essence of leftism. If the Party chooses Bloomberg, then he is the right choice. It’s a tautology to them.

Forget Democrats of the past: they were liberals. They distrusted the military, the FBI and the CIA. The new iteration of the Democrats is leftist, and the military, the FBI and the CIA are organs of the State: of course they must be trusted.

Young leftists want neo-feudalism: their relationship to the State is the child to a parent. In return for obedience and blind trust, they can be the eternal child, ever cared for. The child may make demands (free college, free health care) but the child has no right to question or criticize the parent.

When Obama announced everyone could remain on their parents’ health care plan until age 26, it was wildly popular. The Medicare for All plan of Bernie and Pocahontas means the government takes over total control of all aspects of health care. No more private insurance. That is a selling point to the Bernie Bros: one less adult responsibility.

Your revolution is quite nebulous, Mr Piddles. When, where, against whom? Will Bernie still have his lakefront mansion after his “revolution”.

We have Hollywood multi-millionaires, lots of them, calling for revolution. Michael Moore with his Central Park West, multi-million $ apartment is a self-declared revolutionary. I strongly suspect their definition, their paradigm of a revolution is not yours or mine.

President Trump is once again stirring up the Bernie Bros by tweeting that Bernie is going to be cheated, and that the election is rigged. The President seems less than concerned about the lethality of these internet revolutionaries.

Leftism is a religion, and the “revolution” is their version of Armageddon. Communist and socialist theories long-predated Marx. The Pilgrims introduced a socialist system of raising crops after they landed on Plymouth Rock. It failed, of course, and they switched to private plots of land. Marx’s version of socialism was appealing for its religious imagery.

The Bernie Bros are devout, and the apostasy of leaving the Party is agony for most.

Marx created something unique. Yes, he took pieces of ideas long in existence. But he put them together in new ways. Some he crafted to lie about a future utopian promise. Others, he crafted to invent lies of evil villains to unite against.

In doing so, he in large measure coopted socialism. And socialism has not been able to break free.

But his capitalism is shear invention. Capital is a tool. Real capitalism is economic theory on how to use that tool, and a classification for governments that enable that use via laws. But since Marx was inventing a theory of everything, he needed a competing theory of everything to compete against. So he created capitalism as a theory of everything as a strawman to win arguments against. The sad part is that to argue for or against, most people buy into or accept the lies as premise for their arguments, both for and against.

It is this buying into the lie that subjugates communalism into communism, and socialism into communism, and capitalism into anti-communism.

If liberal (registered) voters don’t like President Trump’s criticism of judges, they are free to vote for whatever nut job the Democrats nominate. Chief Justice Roberts had a lot to say to protect judges when he ran his mouthful of nonsense about there not being any Obama judges, but has let the FISA court run rampant without an ounce of accountability.

This district court judge doesn’t seem to be willing to give the Executive the same rights she gives her court associates. A President doesn’t have to bend over backwards to any court. President Trump would prefer his boot and he’s using it, justifiably in my view, when an Obama appointed judge goes overboard against conservatives and his supporters but appears to be strangely forgiving for liberals.

We are living in a time in American history where a strong leader is needed. We have that. No one else in my lifetime has ever come close to the strength this President has shown. Brash? Sure. Outspoken? Absolutely. But the results, both domestic and foreign, have been outstanding. The war for Individual Freedom, Liberty and Justice continues.

    • It doesn’t take too much to figure out what really happened there – and, that it is actually quite likely that the “servers” never existed. Occam’s Razor needs only a thumb drive.

The story improbably begins when top secret materials somehow wind up on a public server in – was it a basement or was it a bathroom? Well, Government data systems being as they are, if we know what the material is, we have records of exactly when and by whom these exact materials were withdrawn from the secure government repository system. That person is now guilty of treason, as is anyone who knowingly allowed or assisted in putting the classified materials within the public’s reach.

But it really comes down to a trove of e-mails that actually qualify mostly as being scatological – not particularly revealing. The odds are extremely remote that “Russians” would even know that they existed, let alone where, let alone that they would burrow in from Moscow to get them. But the story that they did, makes it “foreign,” and thereby “justifies” more surveillance.

What made Barak Obama & Company so damned obsessed with knowing the receipt number when a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of their enemy ordered a chicken sandwich for lunch? It makes no sense to me either, but since they could get that kind of info (and waltz right out the front door of the “secure facility” with a zip-drive in their shirt pocket), we’re told they did it tens of thousands of times.

So, they don’t care if the story is true. It isn’t. They don’t care if it’s even believable. It isn’t. They only care that it ostensibly “involves a foreign state.” (Russia, of course … school kids never played “duck and cover” under their desks because the Brazilians were coming. Anytime the US Government needs a booger-man, it’s always “Russia.”)

A month before the 2016 presidential election, the FBI met Christopher Steele in Rome and apparently unlawfully shared with the foreign opposition researcher some of the bureau’s most closely held secrets

The secrets included foreign intelligence information still considered so sensitive that the IG’s report refers to it even now only as coming from a “Friendly Foreign Government.”

The FBI’s decision to share classified information with a partisan operative and private foreign citizen is all the more curious because the team investigating figures associated with the presidential campaign of Donald Trump made extensive efforts to keep the very fact of Crossfire Hurricane a secret from their own colleagues at the bureau.

This is no small matter. “Sharing classified information with anyone not authorized to receive it is a crime,” says Sean Bigley, an attorney specializing in national security law. “But sharing classified information with a non-U.S. citizen not authorized to receive it is also the very definition of harm to national security.”

White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley On AG Barr And President Trump

My interview this AM with White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley:

      Transcript:

Hugh Hewitt: Thank you. We have got a controversy swirling which I think is a little overstated, but let’s talk about it, the Attorney General’s comments yesterday. The key comment is this one.

Attorney General William Barr : I have a problem with some of the tweets. I’m happy to say that in fact, the President has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case.

Hugh Hewitt: So that’s the key takeaway to me, Hogan. The President has never asked the Attorney General, but he does have a problem with the tweets. What’s the reaction from the President and the White House about the Attorney General’s ABC interview?

Hogan Gidley: Well, I’m glad you pointed out the fact that that was the takeaway and not what most of the media is glomming onto, which is some type of faux disagreement here. Listen, the President wasn’t bothered at all by these comments. He has the right, just like any American citizen, to offer his opinions publicly. And as you know, he does that on a regular basis. He’s used social media very effectively throughout the campaign. He’s done it as president not just to fight, you know, on behalf of the American people, but also against some of the incoming fake news, 93% negative news coverage. The President appreciates Attorney General Barr and his service. He has full faith and confidence in the Attorney General, and he knows he’s going to do his job and uphold the law. And one of the interesting pieces in that interview that, again, few people are talking about is that Attorney General Barr also pointed out that he felt as though, you know, he was looking into these matters because it’s the right thing to do, and there were political injustices suffered here. And so you know, on that, they’re in total agreement.
