That was a nice USMCA signing ceremony.

Question – if Canada does not ratify and sign the treaty will it convert to a bi-lateral agreement between only the USA and Mexico?

    • ledygrey says:

Yes, it was, and the President was amazingly jovial and relaxed. A beautiful and moving ceremony.

    • Chimpy says:

No. If Canada refuses to sign, then USMCA is dead and a separate bi-lat with Mexico would need to be drawn up.

However, Canada is not expected to refuse to ratify. And, if they did, a US-Mexico bi-lat would be straight forward to create (use USMCA as a basis) and “re-approve”. Canada knows this, so will not choose to be left behind… most likely.

Rush Limbaugh is detailing the results of the Texas special election: how DEMS were positive that the election and the seat would be a rejection of President Trump and the beginning of turning Texas into a Blue state, because the Twitterverse was 90% pro-DEM in this election, O’Rourke was “practically living” in the district, and the DEM candidate had the endorsement of practically every DEM running for president.

Nearly 60% landslide for the Republican! A harbinger of next November?

I have said this in the past but here it is again. Texas was never for Beto, we were against Cruz because of his speech at the RNC convention. President Trump ask us to vote for Cruz in a rally and I did but I’m sure many just didn’t vote on senator. If you compare the governor’s race you will see Republicans won by a much larger number than in the Cruz/Beto race. I think Cruz has redeemed himself. The Cornyn race might be interesting to watch in the primary. Stovall seems to gaining ground, can he make it into a race? I hope so. He does not have the money and name recognition. We shall see.

I only voted Cruz because PT asked me to. I don’t plan to ever vote for him again. He is a decepticon, not who he pretends to be at all.

What else has the US. given up to China, Russia, etc. besides uranium. arms, patents, pallets of dollars, access to our air and water ports, jobs, high technology, etc….? Our past presidents, Congress and the academics have been busy, busy, busy hiding their wheeling and dealing for more than a bit of pocket change. Who’s watching the government and the universities?

    Book review:

Ted Malloch and Felipe Cuello: Trump’s World: GEO DEUS

This is the most significant publication to date on Trump. It is a refreshing explanation of Trump and his thinking.

The key to understanding Trump’s View of the World is his opposition to Globalism, an opposition that provides content to Trump’s America First positive agenda.
What Trump opposes is a single world government, most especially a world government administered and controlled by Technocrats (and their allies in academe and the media) committed to some form of socialism.

He opposes Globalism because it is dysfunctional, is contrary to Trump’s understanding of American culture, history, the role of America in the world, and because it is focused on achieving its goals by redistributing America’s wealth and resources.

In opposition to Globalism, Trump espouses a different World Economic Model based on American ideals (see 35 propositions on pp. 50-54. Trump’s political philosophy reflects a world being transformed by modern technology, a market economy, limited government, the rule of law, and a culture of personal autonomy rooted in spirituality and transcendence.

I wonder if there was a headline or a story in the Lexington and Louisville newspapers that suggested there is a growing movement in place to donate McConnell’s Senate seat to his opponent in Nov as Republicans are saying they are better off in the Senate without him.

I can just see the headline

Seriously, it is time IMO for MAGA supporters to stand up and say no more to these imposters who say they support PT

I wonder if his office got a couple thousand texts, emails and faxes with this headline if he might change his tune?

I don’t tweet but I wonder if there is a way for this headline to be retweeted on his twitter account??

Of course it’s time to demand loyalty. But come on, Bogeyfree, even the thought of a Dem to replace McConnell should be anathema to a true conservative.

    • Aside from the occasional conservative who dares to defend him or herself, or fight back after having been assaulted, smacked in the head with a bicycle chain/lock, etc., no matter how bad it gets, THE RIGHT WILL NEVER start a Civil War in this country.

That is partly why things have gone so far off the rails – Constitutionally speaking – because the right realizes the stakes involved, both how much we have to lose, and how necessary it is, if we are going to salvage the Constitution and the law, to try to work within the law.

I have seen the clips of Wal-Marts when the EBT and other government issued monies malfunction.

The left is going to start any Civil War that happens in this country, and it is going to be on the heels of some interruption of an entitlement. All the more reason to get more people off the government dole, i.e., monies TAKEN from others to be handed out at the whim of corrupt politicians.

Today Michael Flynn filed a 12 page affidavit asserting his INNOCENCE, explaining why he pleaded guilty, and seeking to withdraw his plea. I have not yet read Powell’s associated brief and supporting documentation. I will soon.

Read Flynn’s Affidavit if you have time to read nothing else. It is heart-wrenching and the first time we have heard from Flynn himself since the Weissman team forced his silence.

  29. “FBI uses Ukraine as base to spy in 50 states”

The FBI signed bogus treaties with Ukraine authorized by FBI Directors Mueller, McCabe, Comey, and Wray.

It allows the FBI to spy on U.S. citizens from Ukraine without being subject to U.S. law.

    The abuse is ongoing.

The treaties from 2014 are sealed in Ukrainian court.

The Utah State Legislature is introducing a bill to recall Mitt Romney lol

    • sDee says:

States should be able to do this at will. The situation we now face is exactly why the Framers left the selection/appointment and recall of Senators up to the States. The States were intended to be a great balance of power against tyranny.

The 17th Amendment was a well planned strategic move to set up the Senate as a deep state cabal, which it has long operated as.

    • MAGADJT says:

LOL! Don’t know if this is actually possible or just political theater, but please let it be done!
