The obnoxious faux conservative Jonah Goldberg is around with another hit piece against the the President and the Senate Republicans on impeachment. Sorry I can’t link it, but it is in today’s Hartford (CT) Courant. which I get online for $.10 per week (Ten Cents – they’re desperate!). The title – I don’t know if it was written by Jonah or the Courant – is “Republican Senators can’t avoid evidence” with upper and lower case as I typed. The title above the article is “Jonah Goldberg – On the Right”. The Courant can’t fix stoopid. BTW, the paper includes an article in which a spokesman for the leftist governor Lamont states that one of their future goals is to double the population of CT’s larger cities. Not hard to guess why.

I finally canceled my subscription to the magazine a few months ago when it published a Goldberg article that suggested that Trump apologize for his Ukrainian phone call as a remedy for the situation. I told the editors I’d had enough of the lunacy.

I watched a citizen journalist ask questions on a beach somewhere – this middle aged leftist is there, he reluctantly at first begins to answer the question: “why impeach”? Like all leftists and this johah troll – they can’t wait to bloviate

Are you kidding me? I don’t want a fascist running our country! I can’t believe you and all your other trump supporters don’t see that! His tweets! Hes abuse of women. Blah blah blah

Then a follow up: can you give me a specific example of his fascism?

“Omg! Are you stupid? Read his tweets. Ukraine, Russia! Hillary won the popular vote!”

This is the sham – the leftists tried a coup on our president and millions of small brained activists are certain the lefts illusion is true.

They will NEVER believe any Barr (actual law) indictments, they will never accept trump as legitimate.

They must be defeated with an overwhelming force, there is no persuading them, they are lost souls.

Violence is not the point, but since the escalator the scene that keeps going through my head:

“I’m here to chew bubble gum and kick arse, and I’m all oughta bubble gum.”

Here in Branford (shoreline) dem control is so outrageous! Local weekly papers are free advertising for local dem politicians. All about diversity of every other aspect of life except politians, in local news the biggest push seems to be for girls high school athletes to be photographed in the most awkward, unflattering situations you can imagine. Message: Girls are every bit as aggressive as Boys. Pretty sad.

because Israel controls the US Media…which controls US politics… and so controls the USA.
In a nutshell this is the only logical reason I can see for Jewish hatred of Donald Trump.
It is not that they do not like his policies. They simply do not like the fact that he has disintermediated their media message/control to the American people and so they have lost control of the American people.

This is Israels biggest fear I think….loss of US support….. and understandably so.

What I fear (being pro-Israeli) is that their attempts to take out POTUS will destroy support for them in the USA.

I think the CIA/Mossad media shills are playing with fire frankly and are making a historical mis-calculation which will come back to haunt the Israeli people.

If Israel controls the MSM than why is it so anti Israeli? Is there a foreign leader who is more outspoken in his love for President Trump than Israel’s own Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? There are American and Israeli Jews who comment here and they tell us of the great love for our President in Israel. Hollywood Jews are no different than what a Unitarian Universalist describes himself to me as … “A “christian” with a small “c”. There are secular Jews, Stateside and in Israel, who are Social Justice Warriors 1st, Humanists 1st, Globalists 1st, Virtue Signalers 1st, Progressives 1st, Socials 1st, Communists 1st … ANYTHING 1st but living their life by the Book.

I am not saying Israel controls the USA…I am saying it controls the MEDIA.
And the MEDIA are very very powerful (MSM + social media + Hollywood).
And it strikes me as odd that these entitities are UNANIMOUS in their opposition to POTUS Trump. It is statistically impossible in USA with so many divergent views that these organizations are monolithic in their opposition.
This opposition is being co-ordinated and directed by someone/thing very very powerful.

As Sundance says …it is all the money and the power. The media influence who gets the POWER more than anyone . I think POTUS’ 2016 election was a slap in their face. They feel offended and degraded USA did not do as they were instructed and vote the Crooked one. Their power to influence was challenged …and so their power and wealth.

This is a question that has bugged me for so long!!! I got into a “friendly’ debate with my older, Jewish Dermatologist, with whom I’ve had several lively theological debates in the past. Asked him how the Jewish people can be so against Trump after all he has done for Israel and for his support of Israel…AND…I also let him know that in 1993, Trump sued the city of West Palm Beach because they did not allow blacks or Jews to join his country club! The answer?

“Even Hitler did great things for his people – job numbers were up, unemployment los, the economy thriving…” and then quickly changed the subject to CNN talking points.

I could hardly speak! I told him he was just spouting CNN talking points. As posters have mentioned, there is NO talking to them. When specifically questioned, they don’t have ANY real reasons to back their complaints and allegations. They are truly hopeless and shame on them!

  5. *NY Post, 2016: “Fast and Furious was a Justice Department program that allowed assault weapons — including .50-caliber rifles powerful enough to take down a helicopter — to be sold to Mexican drug cartels allegedly as a way to track them. But internal documents later revealed the real goal was to gin up a crisis requiring a crackdown on guns in America. Fast and Furious was merely a pretext for imposing stricter gun laws. Only the scheme backfired when Justice agents lost track of the nearly 2,000 guns sold through the program and they started turning up at murder scenes on both sides of the border — including one that claimed the life of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.”

The plan was to discredit the NRA, claim the Cartels were buying these weapons at gun stores just like Americans do, and shut all gun stores down.

*Maria Butina was also sent to target the NRA by the FBI/CIA Coup-plotters–all of whom are gun-grabbers, too, naturally.

*Former federal employee Stephen Paddock cuts loose on Vegas. His foreign girlfriend reportedly listed the FBI as her employer. The investigation was a literal FBI puppet show. It reeks.

*FBI agents encouraged the Islamists under their “investigation” to leave Arizona and go to Garland, Texas to shoot up the “Draw Mohammed”-cartoon event. They didn’t warn the local cops or the attendees.

*Jason Kessler, a life-long Obama-Clinton Gun Control Democrat, suddenly morphs from Obama Junior to David Duke Junior overnight–over election night. He gets a riot permit from the McCaulliffe/ McCabe administration in Virginia for his group “Unite the Right”–which even sounds like a way to lump conservatives in with Klansmen.

WND: Kessler wrote: “@SenatorReid I think you’re a guy who gets things done and I respect that but you need to support the assault weapons ban bc its now or never.”
Another tweet, on Dec. 14, 2012, stated: “These gun nuts have bullied the American people for too long and enabled too many killers. #GunControlNow.”
“Obama and Clinton just demolished the Republican arguments on consecutive nights with two of the greatest speeches of this generation,” Kessler tweeted.
“Republicans in #cnndebate are grotesquely mesmerizing as an interview w/ a serial killer. @ least Dahmer couldnt wage war or starve poor ppl.”
April 2, 2015, tweet: “@BarackObama’s Nobel-worthy ploy for peace comes to fruition & @JohnKerry cements his legacy as a historic Secretary of State. #IranTalks.”

The city police funneled both sides together in hopes of violence. When an Antifa mob began pounding Klan Boy’s car with baseball bats, he rammed the car in front of him, causing a heart attack. And they got their body–although they were hoping for gunplay.

When the president said there were good people on both sides of the monuments debate, the professional liars dutifully twisted his words as praise for both sides of the Klan/Commie riots.

    * And now it begins in Virginia again, as the FBI helpfully chimes in.

Nobody believes you anymore, Chris. Too many lies for too many years. But you did stop the Aunt Becky Menace.

It’s All Agit-Prop, All the Time. Act accordingly.

      Your post was great!
In regards to tomorrow’s Richmond, Virginia rally, the FBI made public yesterday the arrest of 7 individuals from different states who may have wound up in Richmond.
All are associated with a group called the Base (similar to Al Qaeda) which is purportedly white supremacist, anti-Black, anti-Jewish, and anti-Muslim. Interesting was an FBI comment that the Base exists ‘only online!’
Noteworthy is the fact that the FBI was finally proactive in apprehending them before they could carry out their masquerade, and also that, of the 7 arrestees, 4 or 5 have last names indicating Jewish heritage, and one indicating Muslim heritage; an interesting fact in regards to anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, white supremacists. Right?
Like you, my belief is that these are Soros-aided leftist groups out to smear conservatives as white supremacists, and willing to victimize their own people if they can falsely accuse the the Right of committing the act.
Everyone should look for these acts to occur whenever Dem poll results are in the doldrums, and close to elections, or in critical congressional districts where gun-control is the major issue.
Election 2018 shifted dramatically in the last week after two major, left-wing instigated terrorist events cut enormously in favor Dems, one targeting every major Trump opponent living in DC, the other targeting the poor victims of the Pennsylvania synagogue holocaust.
I applaud the FBI for this action. Also, I add that none of the 7 arrestees expected arrest, were probably carrying their true ID’s, and none were represented by lawyers YET. Maybe DOJ can use its special, investigative techniques to find out who their real contacts are!!
Would also be nice for the public to know as well!

Manned I believe by a relative of Gov McAuliffe (nephew? can’t recall) allowing moment to moment updates and suggestions. This day, imho, was a clear set up and resulted in unnecessary deaths, both from heart attack as well as from helicopter crash who also were feeding back. The truth is still out there. It was a shameful government day by both Charlottesville and our state.

David Rivkin, leading Constitutional attorney, on with Bannon this morning, just shredded Chris Wallace, in Wallace’s interpretation of Pres Trump’s assertion of Executive Privilege in an interview this morning.

In 1974, Nixon claimed Executive Privilege based on personal privilege. SCOTUS said nope, not good enough. Wallace says that applies to Pres Trump.

Pres Trump is claiming Executive Privilege based on National Security.
Attorney Rivkin says first, this has never been ruled by any court, and second, no court would EVER deny the President’s National Security Executive Privilege.
    Oops. Chrissy is a dummy.

Further, GAO is an arm of Congress, not the Executive, so of course GAO will issue “decrees” that favor Congress, just like Office of Legal Counsel is an arm of DOJ, and favors DOJ.

No threats just a promise We need to just start saying that it didn’t happen and let it go at that. there is nothing being said about the OMB report that said he did the right thing by trying to make sure the corruption was no longer a factor and go with that.. There are a lot of bad things being said here and maybe the doom and gloom is what they need right now but not as far as I am concerned We all need to remember that god is with us because we have truth and facts on our side and no matter what Our Presidents team will do the best they can and that’s all we can expect
The senate is another arm of the house and too many of the dems always have had their way but that time is over and We have to remember too that god placed a lot of trust
in President Trump to get things done and he has helped him all the way along this
journey Life is a box of choc and You don’t know what your going to get until you try one and you cant fix stupid and that my friends is the house Dems and the Senate Dems and they may get their way but if McConnell is stupid enough to throw away his only chance at being the leader of the Senate then he needs to lose his seat in congress too along with all those who are playing this corrupt game in the house.. There has been many people leave the house this year along with all those who left in 2018 and we lost the house because of PAUL RYAN and no one else He was nothing but a traitor to the President and god help him if he should ever try to run again for President We need to make sure that anyone running for the house that is NEW needs to be supported so they can take some of the these bad people out of the house and gain our house back..
Ok I am now done have to go to work I hope you will all know that I to come here to learn and be at peace and lately there is no peace for any of us because we are concerned about our president He has been hit by the most god auful things any one could be hit with and he has with stood it all and we can do nothing less..

Almost three years to the day 45 was inaugurated, we have arrived at the exact point Deep State Globalists have planned since the day 45 came down the escalator with our Beautiful First Lady!

We knew it would come down to Deep State Central Senate…17th Amendment subverted our founders vision…however even this corrupted decrepit institution can’t betray Federal Judges and lifetime appointments!! This is a poliiticians bread and butter…45 has already given Republicans 2 Supreme Court Justices and almost 200 Federal Benches…why give up the future of the Republic for Globalists pablum puke???

45 will win 2020 by a landslide if Senate throws charges out even without defense…SHAMPEACHMENT IS LAWLESSNESS ON ITS FACE!

I went through CTH archives looking for this Andrew Peek guy.
    Nothing in CTH.

“President Donald Trump’s top Russia expert on the National Security Counsel is reportedly on leave pending a security investigation.

Andrew Peek, the NSC’s senior director for European and Russian affairs, was escorted from the White House grounds on Friday, two people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.

Peek had been in the NSC role for just two months, after most recently working as a deputy assistant secretary of state with responsibility for Iran and Iraq.

He replaced Tim Morrison, who left the position after testifying in the House impeachment inquiry.”

National security lawyers are launching a new effort called the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection. They plan to sue over discrimination, privacy and national security issues.

    RACHEL MARTIN, HOST:

Military officers, members of Congress and presidents all have to pledge to defend the U.S. Constitution. Now, some top national security lawyers say they’re going to do so, too. They’re starting a project designed to push back against certain government policies on immigration and criminal justice and to defend protections for whistleblowers. NPR’s Carrie Johnson has more.

CARRIE JOHNSON, BYLINE: Until a few months ago, Mary McCord and Joshua Geltzer spent their time defending the power of the executive branch. McCord ran the Justice Department’s National Security Unit prosecuting terrorists, and Geltzer helped direct counterterrorism initiatives at the National Security Council. Now, they’re joining forces to rein in some of that executive power.

JOHNSON: Along with former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal they’re forming the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection at Georgetown Law School.

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. The logic and simplicity that President Trump used to address problems we all face, problems we have all noticed was a breath of fresh air. Any advisor who told him NOT to talk about light bulbs, toilets, shower heads, dishwashers, and other appliances was dead wrong. Millions of Americans have cursed the “environmentally safe” light bulb that eco nuts have forced on us. Yes we noticed the fact that if the light bulbs break they release a hazardous gas and that there is no way to dispose of them without breakage at some point. We have also noticed the inferior light they provide compared to incandescent light bulbs which contain no hazardous anything. Millions of Americans have noticed the lack of water flow to toilets and showers and dishwashers which result in the use of more water and more energy in order to accomplish the same tasks. Millions of Americans have noticed that a refrigerator that used to last 25 to 30 years now lasts on average around 8 to 12 years because of eco restrictions on motors and FREON. Thank you President Trump for shining the light of day on the negative impact eco nuts have had on our daily lives and in turn the environment IF their goal was to lesson the use of water, energy and hazardous waste.

When they instituted the ban GE and its enablers never expected that white LED bulbs would not only become available for house light fixtures (at the time they were only available for vehicles and costs upwards of a hundred dollars or more) but become price competitive. Incandescents will never regain market share, because of their much shorter life span compared to LEDs and much higher energy use (upwards of 20X) and brighter light. I know I wouldn’t buy incandescents again, warranty on LEDs is five years.

The Impeachment ‘Kill Switch’: McConnell Dismissal Rule Corners Democrats, Blocks Antics as Trial Commences

    FTA:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is as of now including in the U.S. Senate impeachment trial rules a “kill switch” that effectively allows for the president’s legal team to seek an immediate verdict or dismissal of the case should Democrats engage in any shenanigans like they did in the House process.

If Schiff or the Democrats try anything untoward like they did in the House, the president and the Senate have the option to shut the whole thing down and blow it all up on them. That means Republicans hold the upper hand, and should things get crazy—while there are not currently enough votes to dismiss the trial or outright off the bat acquit Trump—after Democrat partisan gamesmanship there likely would be enough votes to dismiss the whole thing

    • These Articles should be dismissed outright – for the same reasons that are available to any trial court. They are unconstitutional in a number of key ways, and the Senate, which tries “all impeachments” not merely “those who are impeached,” certainly has the authority to so declare.

The Democrats are now attempting precisely the thing that Alexander Hamilton and several other founders openly foresaw. They are trying to impeach for maladministration and to ignore the purposely-set requirement of “high crimes” (for which the accused “shall fact indictment, trial, conviction, and punishment”). They’re trying to pass a Bill of Attainder.

And their radical “Lawfare, Inc.” counselors have confidently told them that they can do it. That the Constitution means whatever they want it to mean, and their powers are unrestricted. But this is emphatically not what our Founders wrote into their Supreme Law. Instead, this is the reason why they wrote what they actually did.

Trying to virtue signal to Democrats by being fair, as though the other side cared the least bit for fairness unless they can virtue signal, themselves, using the word fair while dealing under the table to trash the meaning of the word. But, thank goodness, we still prevail on the real votes, even while the Republicans preen themselves at their great virtue in running the trial as the Clinton trial ran.

        • In the cases of Johnson, Nixon and (Bill, and Hillary!) Clinton, there were actual crimes as defined by the United States Code at that time. (Although the law Johnson violated was later declared unconstitutional.) In the case of Trump there is nothing. The standards imposed by §2.4 and §1.3.7 have not been met. The Articles are plainly a “Bill of Attainder,” expressly prohibited by §1.9.3 an §1.10.1.

If you tried to levy criminal charges against your neighbor for cutting your grass wrong, the Court would dismiss your case without trial because you did not meet the requirements set by the law. The US Constitution is the law, and these articles are Unconstitutional. They should not be heard. We should never allow these precedents to be set, both for the sake of the present officers of our Government and for all future ones.
