Beware Virginia – A Remarkable Confluence of Events…

There is a remarkable confluence of data-points surrounding a second amendment rally in Virginia this holiday weekend that bear a strong note of caution.  Something akin to an astroturf event appears in the background.  ♦ Data-points:

♦ Billionaire Michael Bloomberg is running for President.  Bloomberg has funded the majority of Virginia anti-gun legislators who are now proposing considerable restrictions on lawful gun ownership in the commonwealth.

♦ It is also worth noting in the wake of the astro-turfed Charlottesville narrative, the professional political messaging of the Democrat apparatus, via Joe Biden, proclaimed in April 2019 that Charlottesville represented “the battle for the soul of this nation.”

If there is one consistent aspect to DNC activists (Occupy Wall Street, Antifa etc.), it’s that they use the same playbook.

♦ Provoking civil unrest to achieve political objectives is a well known strategy of the Alinsky wing of the apparatus.  ie. “never let a crisis go to waste”; and they are very good at creating the appearance of an organic crisis.  It’s usually in hindsight when the astroturf originating the crisis is identified.

The reason the Antifa mob was able to attack the peaceful marchers was ONLY because the Charlottesville Police were ordered to stand down by the far-left Democratic Mayor and Governor (link)

As it was noted in the Charlottesville example, the authorities in Virginia purposefully funneled two activist groups together to create the conflict and crisis (‘Unite the Right’ and Antifa).  Consider the possibility of the same play-book being deployed this weekend for the second amendment rally at the Virginia capitol.

Situational Awareness – Take a look at how the authorities in Virginia have literally used chain link fences to fence-in the current demonstration venue.  One entrance, few exits:

The Virginia state Capitol building is surrounded by fencing, Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020 in Richmond, Va., in preparation for Monday’s rally by gun rights advocates. Gov. Ralph Northam on Wednesday, Jan. 15, announced a state of emergency and banned all weapons from the rally at the Capitol. (Hoffmeyer/Richmond Times-Dispatch via AP)

♦ Also, keep in mind how the national media are framing this: “Virginia has become Ground Zero in the nation’s raging debate over gun control.”

Just as the national media did with the “far-right” -vs- “Antifa” for the Charlottesville example, there is a much larger national narrative overlay being deployed.

♦ Also as noted in 2017, getting President Trump involved in the controversy is a way to keep the story on a national scale and politicize the crisis.  This is a presidential election year, and Democrats are attempting to converge a multitude of social issues for maximum electoral benefit.

♦ VA is an easy and convenient state for political narrative engineering.  The geography of Northern Virginia to DC planning headquarters; in combination with a massive media apparatus in close proximity; has made many Virginia events become national stories.

♦ Establish the narrative to be engineered by the Astroturf:

[…]  Virginia’s solicitor general, Toby Heytens, told Richmond Circuit Court Judge Joi Taylor on Thursday that law enforcement had identified “credible evidence” that armed out-of-state groups planned to come to Virginia with the possible intention of participating in a “violent insurrection.” (link)

♦ Identify who in the Trump orbit is telling POTUS to keep tweeting about the Virginia event, (yesterday and today) and there’s a strong possibility that person is a Judas Goat.

♦ President Trump is being drawn into the engineering.

♦ Former Robert Mueller special counsel lead FBI investigative supervisory special agent David Archey; a man who had to know -by design of the investigation itself- that the FBI was being used for a corrupt political operation; is now the head of the FBI field office in Richmond, Virginia.

A remarkable confluence of events.

Something is going to take place.

What that ‘something’ might be is yet unknown.

However, whatever it is, President Trump is unfortunately now attached to it.

[…]  Because of the threat of possible violence, organizers of an annual vigil for victims of gun violence — usually held on the King holiday each year — said Friday that they have canceled their event this year.

“Given the serious concerns about possible violence on Monday, we recognize that we can not guarantee the safety of the brave gun violence prevention activists and survivors who have fought so hard for this day,” said Lori Haas, state director of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.  (link)

Okay everyone. I’ve been sitting here for two hours throwing in my two cents. Cool down a little. Law-abiding Americans have the right, and the duty, to assemble when their rights are being seriously infringed. You’ve no idea what it is like to be in Virginia now. Everyone is upset, furious, talking about moving. I was at a large event today and it was the talk everywhere. People are afraid that their doors will be knocked down, their property confiscated. And they have done nothing wrong! Then it seems like a horrific nightmare — WHAT HAPPENED IN SOVIET RUSSIA, IN NAZI GERMANY, IS HAPPENING IN OUR OWN BACK YARDS — AND WE THOUGHT WE WERE IN AMERICA!! Okay sorry for the yelling. But people are taking this personally because it is their homes. Their homes.

I hope that it goes well on Monday. I certainly know a lot of people who will be there. People dear to me. But in their view, they don’t have a choice. If they (we) don’t stand up, no one will, ever. This is the big chance.

There may be violence from paid actors. But at least the good people took a stand, a peaceful stand. And the truth will come out, like it did in Charlottesville.

So, my Treeper friends, wish us all well, and good night.

I won’t be able to be there as I am overseas , but I would like to put a suggestion out there.

        Go , with your guns.

Surround the place but don’t go into their little fenced trap.

Stay outside of the fence , by surrounding the fence and building , even at a distance , you can make a strong point.

Be aware that it is probably a setup .

If you have it , Wear bulletproof gear as those wishing to set the trap may well start any shooting that takes place.

Be peaceful , quiet , and respectful.

And read Whitehouse Clown’s nearby comments. He has it right too.

To advise others to go with guns is ill advised at best. The Governor has banned them. This is a provocation and inviting arrest. Do not fall for this.

I am concerned about the amount of bad advice on this forum. Encouraging patriots to confine themselves in a pen of the enemy’s making is bad advice at best. At worst, it is the work of agent provocateurs who have targeted this well know site.

Fellow treepers. Please recognize that this popular site has long ago been targeted by the enemy. Rolcon agents are getting better about imitating patriots. Some with misguided passion, others with ill intent are posting here to herd good patriots into a trap. Please be wise and do not let your passions, as justified as they are, rule the day. There are better hills to make a stand on.

This fenced in area is a cynical, deceitful trap, planned well in advance. The left is salivating to capture good intentioned patriots in there. The Antifa is waiting in that pen to create an incident. Do not go into the fenced area.

    • That is EXACTLY how I felt when I lived in NY when the SAFE ACT was passed. I attended a number of 2 A Rallys up there. And btw I did move out of that horrendous state. In the meantime, VA was my home state before I moved up to NY. So now the ball is in VA’s court. Interestingly enough the same laws that were just passed in VA were similar to those that passed in NY State when I lived there.

In the meantime, I have a close Conservative minded relative who will be there on patrol as a member of the State Police. So lets all hope that cool heads prevail. Most of those who went to the NY State gun rallies were everyday citizens who felt betrayed by their government as well, And it has only gotten much worse up there.

This was never really intended as a rally, it has been a lobby day where pro 2A supporters give speeches and then visit their reps.

Bloomberg wants an incident. And the state of emergency means everyone there is being surveilled. POTUS DHS is also part of this. Hopefully, they will be looking out for Antifa and BLM but I doubt it.

Trump should not be tweeting. He should be telling that clueless coward Barr who is head of these law enforcement agencies to go after Northam for inciting violence. Instead the FBI is out scouring what Northam called the dark web for white supremacists! Why arent’t they citing the local Antifa Seven Hills twitter feed?? Because they are their thugs who will do the dirty work.

There should be no way in hell after Northam’s Wednesday press conference that VCDL should not have changed the venue and the day for this. They want another Charlottesville. All we can hope for now is divine intervention.

God bless those attending the rally in Richmond and keep them safe and successful. There has already been some limited success in tamping down the unconstitutional infringements due to the pressure placed upon legislators by the encompassing second amendment sanctuary county movement in Virginia (96% of the state’s counties) and the sheer number of Virginia citizens who have contacted legislators (tens of thousands). There are indeed risks involved, and the risks will only increase in the future. This rally will continue to add to the pressure on legislators, and at a critical time, to defeat or remove the most onerous of the proposed anti-gun laws.

There are better ways to defeat them. Clean out the VA Repub. party and get good candidates into office. Hard work, Yes.

Take WV up on their offer. Get a vote going in each Pro 2A county. WV constitution allows new counties to join. You want pressure. Getting some counties to succeed will create a lot more pressure than walking into a fenced trap of the enemy’s making.

Roger. You raise good points. Those other measures are also being aggressively executed and pursued. But there is little time for some of those other measures to take effect right now as the first decisive battle is next week. Coonman northam and the dems in VA are worried about this Lobby Day rally – not because of fears of violence – but because of the tremendous pressure it places on the legislators to uphold their oaths to the State and US Constitutions when they vote on these bills in the coming week. Several key dem senators are already balking at the extreme bans as a result of this pressure. Northam’s intent is to both lower attendance (ideally cancel the event) and try and delegitimization the rally and movement via his information operations – by inserting the narrative that there will be violence at the gathering. Canceling the rally would be a big win for him, and would have negative effects on persuading legislators as well as maintaining momentum and enthusiasm among the patriotic citizens of Virginia. Maximum pressure is needed – which includes this rally – as well as contact with legislators, media operations, get out the vote drives, lawsuits, and protests if needed. The risk and negative impact of some bad actors or activity is outweighed by the positive impact the rally will have on some legislators next week in terms of stripping away gun ban votes. Even with negative national media press coverage, the local legislators see and understand the ground truth.
If the battle is lost next week in the commonwealth’s legislature – Virginians will have a ban and loss of their firearm rights – regardless of the impact or activity on the national scene. There are no guarantees of redress after that.
Attendees must be situationally aware of the theats and bad actors – no doubt they will be there – but they will likely be overcome by the sheer numbers of good, patriotic attendees. God bless the patriots attending the rally and may they be successful and safe.

It might be better to spend the time organizing to vote and preparing lawsuits to purge voter rolls of illegal votes. It’s this way, the media will only present anything done as bad, no matter what. If something really bad occurs, they will highlight it as the President’s fault. I would put nothing past the Dims between now and November and beyond. They know it is over, though they will silently never admit it. All they have is to lash out and destroy as much as they can. This is the most dangerous time.

Great safety announcement, Sundance. Thank you.

Virginia. The New Lexington. The Arms Confiscation Of The Left Deserves A Strong Answer.

We are seeing in real time an overt, in your face, act of tyranny. It started when billionaire Bloomberg bought the souls of the Demo-Communists in the VA legislature and governor’s mansion. It ratcheted up when the Communist governor declared his intention that no one in Virginia can own certain guns; that he and his Communist cohorts would decide if and what guns Virginia citizens can and can’t have; that he would send armed government forces to confiscate those guns; and those forces would kill anyone who resisted.

This is exactly what British General Thomas Gage instructed the British Army to do at Concord and Lexington in April 1775. He instructed that because the Americans had refused to submit to laws, rules, and orders from the King, 3,000 miles away, that they considered infringements on their rights as Englishmen. Does or does not the Second Amendment plainly state “Shall not be infringed”?

Those who counsel to stay away don’t understand the enormous gravity of what’s actually going on. They don’t see the much larger, more ominous, and more important big picture. They fail to understand it would be a big mistake to not go to the rally. More than anyone, gun owners recognize the attempt to ban and confiscate guns has a GREATER SIGNIFICANCE AND THREAT than just banning some guns. They know world history proves that gun bans lead to confiscations, and communists use both to disarm their subjects to further continue their COMMUNIST TAKEOVER of the United States of America.

That’s why VA gun owners must attend the rally. To show the world they will not surrender to communism. They will not be disarmed. They must send a strong message that when push turns to shove and the British are on the town green demanding their arms, they will if need be, do what their forefathers did on April 20, 1775 to prevent the communist takeover of America.

If gun owners back down now and don’t show up, every MSM propaganda outfit across America will loudly and proudly proclaim a victory for the communist anti-gun forces controlling US soil in VA. And STATES ACROSS AMERICA WILL BE EMBOLDENED TO TAKE SIMILAR TYRANNICAL STEPS TO DISARM AMERICANS in order to further the communist takeover of America

Bundy Ammon took a chance. And won. If he didn’t take that chance, if he stayed home, afraid to take that chance….if he listened to everyone who said “Don’t do it, Bud! Do it some other way, but not that way!”….his family would be in jail and the government would’ve taken their land, cattle, homes, possessions, and lives by imprisonment.

The time will come, if not now then after our President Trump leaves office in 2024, when gun owners will have to make a decision when the British are on the porch of their homes, there to confiscate our arms. We will need to choose between liberty and freedom, or becoming an unarmed subject of the state, vulnerable to attack by murderers, robbers, and rapists because we chose to surrender the tools the founders gave us to fight robbers and tyrants.

IMO VA gun owners should by all means attend the rally. IMO they should NOT enter the cage. IMO entering the cage isn’t a show of defiance. IMO it’s a show of meekness. IMO it will cause the cage builders to gloat and justify their gun ban.

IMO VA gun owners should surround the cage as a show of contempt against tyranny and as a show of solidarity for their cause. They should, as VA law allows, carry their arms. They should police themselves, be on the alert with cameras and recorders ready. They should report troublemakers to cops and film when cops refuse to get the troublemakers out.

To stop the communist takeover of their country; to keep themselves and their families safe from criminals and crime; and to exercise their God given, constitutionally guaranteed right to the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness, VA gun owners must as their forefathers did that fateful April day, form a perimeter around their arms by forming a perimeter around that cage, by the ten thousands.

We cannot afford, to not stand against tyranny, today.

Yeah sort of. “A communist takeover” is a pretty obtuse concept. You mean the fabian marxist Statists in the media, academia, crony corporates, the Bureaucracy, education etc are using that to change default US values, is where it’s going. If you are betting on a physical Communist “takeover”….don’t be silly.
Calling these people Communists is like calling illegal alien border crossers “immigrants”…. it lacks descriptive rigour.

What’s happening in VA doesn’t need a name for astute observers to understand what it is: the takeover of America by the destruction of Constitutionally guaranteed, God given liberties; carefully planned and committed by Communists, cultural Marxists, Demo-Commies, DemonRats, etc and et al, whom infest govt offices and administrative agencies; e.g. FBI, NSA, CIA, BATFE, ONDI, SDNY, and more.

That is a sober expression of the situation. The Gravity is real. Our rights are now completely at stake, threatened tyranically by those who can’t follow amendment process to prevail, so instead act by force.

Patriotic taxpayers must stand up in the face of evil and that evil must be thwarted, then defeated.

This is not the hill to fight on. This fenced area is a trap set up to confine patriots in with Antifa and create an incident. The press will eagerly capture what they anticipate will happen.

I sense too much of a desire for confrontation. It will not play out well. Self control and restraint are battle tactics as well. We need to be smart and not fall for a trap eagerly set for us.

Inside the fenced area is where the speakers will be. Because this has always been a Lobby Day meaning a chance to go inside and speak with state reps most people coming will go inside the pen. The Dems know this.

Also, the only entrance will be on 9th street. Richmond is run by Dems with a majority black population. Antifa has already said they will be there with BLM and after some conservative sites picked up a VICE article saying they will be marching along side pro gun rights people they came out and said that was misleading. They will “NEVER” march with neo-Nazis they said. So Northam with his press conference and with the Mayor and his police standing behind him makes this a messed up situation.

Don’t worry though– none of this will deter the moms, dads, neighbors, friends and Patriots from going.

People going should remember to pray but defend themselves if necessary.

With selective editing of the video and a few lies by authorities the whole thing can be spun as requiring the urgent passage of gun confiscation.

To everyone, I say make your best judgement and proceed accordingly. But be smart. No one wants another Las Vegas, excepting perhaps your Governor Coonman.

To those who chose not to attend, and to those like myself who support the brave 2A folks from afar, I make this suggestion. Fly your Confederate Flag high and proud on Monday in support of your brothers and sisters in Richmond. A symbol of speaking truth to power, and a symbol of never giving up or giving in on what you believe in and what you know is right.

The latest example was when nanzi marched the articles of lies over to the senate, just like she did during the TEA party protests years ago with her over sized gavel. Those were meant to illicit a negative response, nothing more.

This is getting really ugly since a constitutional civil right is at stake. Virginians, and a few Virginians only, should attend with cell phones ready to video tape peacefully those out of stater antifa types that will surely be there to provoke a response. Otherwise the folks from the 2A VA sanctuary counties should stand their ground, and let gubner coonman bring the fight to them.

As a lifetime resident of Virginia, and an ardent 2A supporter, It pains me severely as to what is happening to the Old Dominion. The liberals have infiltrated from New York (and other states) due to their runaway taxes caused by the out of control Democra*s. Unfortunately, they failed to leave their liberal attitudes and voting habits behind.
I was in attendance several weeks ago when the county in which I live was declared a Second Amendment Sanctuary. I attended just last week where the local Sheriff admitted his support for the 2A, as well as shared the current intelligence on the VCDL Lobby day activities. That was a day before ‘ole coonman went beyond his Virginia Constitutional powers by declaring the Capital Grounds to be a Gun Free (read killing) zone. I know the capital grounds well – spent MANY a spring and fall day dining on the grounds as I worked a block away. Would carry a bag lunch and enjoy the outside during lunch.
Sadly, What is making the news regarding the taking of our 2A rights is merely a shadow of the issue. The power drunk liberals are attacking everything – from felon voting rights (even voting from the prison – and they want the votes to count in the locality of incarceration. (increases the democr*p vote count and dilutes the local conservative vote). They wish to have the Gubnor elected not by the statewide majority, but elected by the majority of votes in congressional districts. (Due to the higher number of residents in the metro areas, they have more congressional seats across the state.) Currently coonman can only serve a single 4 year term…oh NO…they want that changed to 8 years… not to mention what they wish to do the unborn… I am sick of it.
I have previously attended the VCDL Lobby day activities and it was a VERY positive experience getting to meet with our representatives to express our concerns about the pending bills at the time. But not this year. As the Democr*ps proceeded to pontificate about doing this, and doing that, I could read the tea leaves and decided that as I approach 70, I preferred to NOT be in the company of 100,000 pi**ed off gunowners and this was before the “antis” spoke up about coming to our state.
Charlottesville is about a 2 hr drive from where I live. That August in 2017 found me scouring the news for every morsel of info I could find as I lived in that town many years ago. It was VERY interesting to see how the news stories published the day of vs. two days later changed. Recall the two State Trooper pilots that died when their chopper went down? I would love to have someone explain to me how they could have been doing observation of the antics within the confines of Charlottesville when their chopper went down SEVEN MILES outside of town. Initial reports (good luck on finding today) were they were providing security for the gubnor at the time (we referred to him as TMac) whose caravan was in the general vicinity at the time. Funny how that story changed Sunday morning – never to be seen again….. Also gone are the stories how TMac and coonman (it was an election season for the Gubnor”s office at the time) showed up at Churches SUNDAY morning to do their campaigning as the residents were in a crisis mode.

Sundance – you are right as usual –
“Something is going to take place.

What that ‘something’ might be is yet unknown.”

As I type this, it is now Sunday – I will be in church in the morning and I will pray that cooler heads prevail and coonman is deprived of his wishes for an occurrence that causes pain, or suffering (or worse) to any of the Patriots that do exercise their First Amendment rights and go to Richmond on Monday. In my searches, I have seen photographs of the pre-positioning of State Police assets (just in case they are needed) and so yes, the power keg is in position. all that is needed is a spark to set it off.
As it is now late, this Deplorablehummer has chirped enough and I bid you a good night.

You might google and watch crisis actor videos on you tube. There used to be quite a few vids about that there. Some of the events you may recognize.

But it may have been “curated.”

Supremacists have a great pathological need to condescend and infantilize opposition.

Supremacists. No adjectives needed. They are already better than you because.

      This is today’s Democrat.

Today’s liberal are anti-enlightenment pro-tyranny creatures of oligarchy.

Welcome to The New Imperialism and the vulgar peerage of predatory legalism and administrative hegemony.

The Creep State. The Creep State is the problem. The Creep State is the disease.

Shallow, preening, rent-seeking, corrupt, duplicitous Creeps have hijacked the upper workings of our federal government and related corporations.

Dr. Trump has an epidemic on his hands.

Each protester should present to the county seat throughout the state with their weapons EXCEPT at the capitol. They should NOT walk into the obvious trap.

The TRASH shows up in that area, the patriots should present themselves where the “trash” fears to tread: flyover territory.

They can cage themselves in that chain link zoo, like the monkeys they are. And Ralph should go into the monkey cage and play with all his little primate butt-scratching, spitting, screeching, humping pets….he will fit in nicely.

If the 2A’s don’t show, JUST IMAGINE WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE… a bunch of minions, and the plan to set up the 2A’s would be revealed as the insidious trap of the liberal government Uber-Goon Northam and his global zealot lackeys….all set up….for ridicule at the next Trump Rally!!!!!

Not being sarcastic, but please leave your dog and kids at home. This will not be Lobby Day as we know it, probably will never the same after Monday, but someone I met was going to take her two young sons.

Apparently, Steve Bannon will also be there among the VA Citizens Defense League crowd on the ground.
This doesn’t look good. Having him involved only makes the Antifa/commie crowd more antsy.

I would suggest some mild civil disobedience and confound their scheme by simply moving every other temporary fence panel to create entry/exit points.

The whole point of the demonstration is to prove that they don’t control you, so don’t let them put you in a cage.

    It’s a fake cage anyway.

Or…..maybe even better….. chain all the fence panels together so none of them can get out.
Put them under a one day siege.
That could send a message they hadn’t thought of.

    Show them who’s boss.

As is the case with trap-door spiders everywhere, they will let you into the cage but they won’t let you out. We can all bet Antifa will be out in force. Some will be in their normal garb, but a number of them will try to look like the good guys so they can infiltrate and make trouble. Stay out of the kill box. Stay out of the enclosure. Watch around yourself; don’t be conned into a fight or other exchange. Remember, Northam wants to arrest as many of us as possible; no one from Antifa will see the inside of a jail.

We have been hearing about this rally for over a week now as well a story that they arrested some Antifa who were planning gun violence. This has been planned for months and wow right during impeachment proceedings. If that governor were really worried about violent eruptions he wouldn’t be promoting it he would be cancelling it.
